He wasn't a Ravenclaw, but his Head of House was the Arithmancy Professor. He had to study hard in that class so not to disappoint Professor Hadley.
Truth be told, Gwendolyn was hoping that the Hufflepuff would change the subject. Anything would do, as long as he wouldn’t be asking about the diary.
No such luck. In the next moment, the Ravenclaw heard him say something. He could help. The fifth year just raised an eyebrow at him, but didn’t say anything…because Oakey continued talking.
