"Nothing will go wrong," Vivi agreed, rather more calmly than she felt. Lots of things went wrong in learning a new spell, especially for a first year who didn't have much experience in learning and practicing new spells. But it was better to just pretend like she wasn't worried about her hair burning off.

"Watch this wand motion." Vivi demonstrated Finite Incantatem once. Twice. Three times. "This is a really important spell to know, so learn it well."

Beezus laughed. Cass was such a girl. "Hippogriff dung isn't that bad Cass," she said, grinning from ear to ear. She was perfectly aware that most girls hated dung. But she thought otherwise. She even liked playing with dung. Weird, that was just her adjective.

Miss Prewett just received a small wink from the Ravenclaw. Gosh, why were girls so girly sometimes? Heh. Nonetheless, she meant what she told the Slytherin. She really liked blonde hair....when it comes to girls. Yup. Girls only, boys are highly excluded.

So. The gift. Merlin, she was excited. Only a few people ever gave her gifts..and this one from Cass, well, she was just having a feeling that she's going to REALLY like it. "Well?" Beezus prodded on, unable to contain her curiosity. OH. What? Dogs? Puppies? Suddenly, Cass was crouching down and..........what did she say? W-wwha?

For what seemed like a whole minute, the Ravenclaw's round dark brown eyes just gaped at the creature on the box which waggled its tongue playfully at them and looked at her with its sparkling, tantalizing, beady eyes. And then she brought her hand to her mouth, trying to suppress a squeal that came without any voice. Next thing she knew, she was flailing like a small kid bought her favorite candy.

Cass was telling her something about vet and stuff but she wasn't listening, all her attention was on the pup. Oh, just look at how adorable he is! His fur...it looks so fluffy and soft..and oh, it's nose! How cute it is when he's sniffing!

SHE.COULD.DIE.NOW.

"What do I think?!" Beezus echoed rather in a rushed manner. "Cass! EEEEEEEHHHHH!!!!" It was one of the best things anyone has given her. She felt like crying because she was so happy. But that would only make her more weird. So, she decided that it was better to just bend down and look at her baby lovingly. "Is...it..." GULP. GULP. Oh, happiness. "..a him? or her?" Although whatever it was, she didn't care. She could hear her heart beating loudly against her chest. She was just so delighted!

It was now hers. And she knew she'd love it more than anything else.

It's not every day that you walk out of the common room to find a note stuck by one of the paintings that tells you to meet down at the courtyard. Louisa suspiciously had looked around to see whether it was a joke or a prank, but the name on the note "Juliet Kim" made her certain that this was the cousin princess Jonathan told her about. Louisa decided to take this seriously, she picked up Cuddles (that cat that Jonathan's girlfriend brought her on her birthday) and doubled back to her common room. She didn't know how the girl looked like so, she grabbed a parchment and wrote the girl's name on it. She headed out toward the courtyard.

As soon as Louisa made it out of the castle, she let Cuddles down on the floor and used her wand to enlarge the parchment into a board-kind of thing and raised it over her head.

Hopefully the slytherin girl won't find this embarrassing and change her mind of meeting Louisa... she said she had a gift from Johnathan and the Ravenclaw really wanted to see it.

After fixing her hair, Juliet tried looking around for a Louisa Carter. Well, the only thing she knows about her is 1. This person is a Ravenclaw 2. She's the new Head Girl and 3, which is already a given at this point is one of her cousin's friend. She pouted remembering the last part. That bloke could actually just owl the head girl. But nooo, he owled it to her so she can pass this to Louisa. What in Merlin's beard is that about? She cannot see the logic in this at all.

Her eyes wandered around and stopped. She paused as her eyes widened. There is a huge parchment that has her name on. Juliet squeaked. Obviously, the person behind this is Louisa. She grabbed the gift box and immediately ran towards her. "Louisa?" she asked softly. Louisa Carter? Head Girl? Ravenclaw? Friend of cousin? All of the above? Yes?

"Hi" she said slightly waving her hand at her. Looking at her name with a hint of embarrassment, she poked the parchment "This is me" Juliet Kim. The girl who gave the note, now please make it disappear???????

Louisa was all about efficiency, and she usually nailed whatever she set her mind on. Like today, finding the girl quickly and without wasting her breath asking other snakes. It would've been less embarrassing to just ask Kennedy but who knew where he was in this time of the day? Besides, Louisa didn't find this embarrassing at all! It was a practical solution, mhhmmm. So when a girl approached her, Louisa smiled widely. "Ohh! Hi there, Juliet." She sure as hell looked like a princess.

Why did she poke the giant parchment? Ohhhh! Right. "Evanesco," Louisa vanished the parchment and continued to beam at the Slytheirn. "Nice to meet you, I'm Louisa Carter. I reckon Jonathan told you a bit about me like he did with me?" It wasn't as hard to mention her friend's name now that she had someone who related to him. It was like he was there too... somehow.

Seeing as Louisa made the large parchment go back to original size, Juliet let out a big sigh of relief. Her name didn't have to be around in this corner of the school. Frankly speaking though, it was smart of her to do so. Juliet was just going to yell out her name but her--- she just took 'looking for someone' in a whole new way. So bravo for that.

Juliet smiled at Louisa when she introduced herself. She did gesture her hand "Nice to finally meet you, Louisa Carter" yup, she'll be using her full name. "Juliet Kim" she also introduced herself. She did however giggled when she mentioned about Jonathan mentioning her "So you're the girl from the vacation?" the one in Spain? It's a good thing someone made use of that summer house already. Juliet doesn't even go there to stay. "He talks about a lot of people i don't really know" cue more giggle. Because honestly, she has no clue of who those people were when her cousin talks to her.

Anyways.... speaking of which. Juliet stared at the gift box and soon realize that yes, she needed to give this to the head girl. Without further ado, she handed the gift box with an attached letter as well. "He asked me to give this to you" asked? More like ordered her to do so. Pfffft.... He even said that Juliet wasn't allowed to peek what's inside.

So what is inside???????? Juliet wanted to know. She looked at Louisa... Go ahead, open it... OPEN IT!!!!!!!

Theo was crying. Subtly crying. Merlin only knew why he had come outside in this type of situation, but here he was. Theo stormed along the courtyard, keeping his head low and avoiding eye contact with everyone. Why, you ask?

He had a zit.

His first zit ever. And as soon as he accepted it was a zit and not a contagious disease, Theo had spent his time sobbing in the mirror.

Sure, it was a sign of growing up, but zits did not make people friends or girlfriends. Cos they were gross, man.

Time for a walk!

Sophie didn't skip her way to the courtyard, as she would normally do. She wasn't as cheerful yet, but not as depressed either. She was... in an okay mood.

Actually, the courtyard wasn't where she was going, but when she spotted Theodore there all by himself, she decided to go talk to him. "Theodore? Are you okay?" She asked as she walked over to where he was. He looked... a bit sad?

Theo wiped his face and yeah, he was feeling much better now after getting some air. He looked up, hearing his name, then lowered his head back down. He forgot that he was trying to hide. "Hi... yeah, I'm okay... I-" Did he want to tell Sophie?

She'd understand. Sophie was nice. "I... have a spot." And they were gross. Maybe Sophie knew some sort of spell to disguise it!

He'd already used the 'Ten-Second Pimple Vanisher' from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. But yeah... it only worked for ten seconds each time. Obviously.

What? Juliet wasn't going to call Louisa by her full name all the time, was she? That made the Ravenclaw chuckle, "Yeah, finally. You don't have to call me by my full name though. Just Louisa." Or Lou. But that was reserved for Ellie and Dallin so. If she wanted to give her a new nickname, it was fine too. As long as it wasn't girlish or childish. He talks about a lot of people? Ooooh. "Does he know? The sly Slytherin. I have to practically drag the words out of his mouth." Chuckling at this. Not that she blamed him or anything, it was quite understandable that he felt more comfortable talking to his cousin than his friend. She must be like a sister to him.

Oooh! A journal, a box and a letter! Louisa beamed, she placed the journal on top of the box by the fountain and sat down on the edge. "He finally found time to write me a letter! It better be long enough!" And it was long enough. Her eyes skimmed over the parchment a couple of times, her smile widening every time. Once she was done, she looked up at Juliet, "Thank you, for delivering this. Now let's see the hat your cousin brought from France." She folded the letter and tucked it in her jeans pocket before bending down and opening the box. "I don't know why he always brings me hats. It's like his unspeakable agreement between us." Giggling she slipped the hat on and gave Juliet a pose. "What do you think?" GRIN.

Aawwww, he was actually cryiinng?? That made Sophie a little sad. She didn't like to see her friends crying!

But when she hear his reason to be crying she was surprised. "Wha- ?" She started to ask, but she was so shocked someone would be crying over this that she wasn't able to finish her sentence. "Theo, that's... normal. I mean, everyone gets these things every now and then, no?" Some people more than others, but anyway.

The situation made Sophie wonder if there wasn't a potion to help in this case. Or even better, a SPELL! The only spell she could think of at the moment was her favourite one, the Colour Changing Charm. Of course, it wouldn't make the pimple disappear, but at least it would make it the same colour of his skin! Though that did sound tricky... getting the perfect shade of his skin and all... hm...

Oh. Well then there was nothing to worry about! For a moment she thought she might have landed the girl in the hospital wing or otherwise damaged in some horrific way but that was clearly not the case. This actually made her feel better. There was no way she could harm her. Boy, just knowing that was enough to send the 11 year olds confidence flying. No matter how badly she did nothing would come of it. Gosh, why couldn't life on a whole be like that??

Now she couldn't wait to start waving her wand! For a moment Alexa had to take a deep breath to calm herself; all the excitement might have made her miss something really important. She glued her eyes to Vivi's every wand movement and took it all in. Hmm....it didn't seem all that hard. After a moment of concentration she tried the wand movement exactly as she had seen her do it...or well...she hoped it was the same. Her eyes shot up to Vivi, questioning silently whether she was doing good or not. "Like that?" If Vivi said this was important then she had to get it right.

Why was "Penny" always the one people wanted to call her? "No," Penelope answered. "You can use something else though, if you want." Just not Penny. That was still not allowed to be used by anyone. But she smiled a little as she accepted the tutu Addy handed her and quickly slipped it on over her pants. It looked kinda cool on her and Addy and the other girl. Everyone should wear these more often. Maybe add them to the Hogwarts uniform or something. THAT would be interesting.

Oh, right, she should introduce herself too. "I'm Penelope," she replied to Sutton with a small smile.

"Yep. That looks... pretty good. And the incantation, practice that. Finite incantatem," Vivi put her hands on her hips and jutted out her jaw in an attempt to look totally confident.

This... this was pretty stupid. She already regretted the idea. Was there an easy and polite way to walk away now?

"Let's get this over with. Go ahead."

Harvey listened to her as she set a scenario in front of him "Well then I guess you could live with the sister that you grew up with, you don't have to live with the long lost siblings. Right?" he asked not knowing what he proper situation was. "What do you thnk you should do? he asked wondering what her opinion was on all this

Yaaaay! Lex beamed for a minute, completely taken in by the fact that she had gotten the wand movements right on the first try. Oh yeah; she was gettin' it. Pretty soon she'd be a pro, throwing hexes in all directions without a care in the world. Hehe. Vivi was the best. Most older kids would have told her to get lost and learn this stuff herself!

"Okay." Lex glanced down at her wand for a minute before raising it and pointing at nothing in particular. "Finite Incantatem." And of course she did the fancy wrist work like she had done earlier. The tip of the wand glowed but nothing happened....that shouldn't have been all that surprizing seeing as technically there was no spell being removed...either that or she had got it wrong.

"Was that it?" She asked anxiously. She was doing so well and would have hated to think that she started messing up again.

Don't call her by her full name but--- she's head girl and she's a senior. Juliet always address people by their full name if the person is someone of higher authority. Besides it's a bit awkward especially because she knows her cousin and they're friends. But oh well, she'll try? "Okay, just Louisa" adding a giggle at the end. Okay, okay... Louisa.

Hearing Louisa say that made Juliet pause for a moment. Her eyes blinked in dismay. Really???? REALLLLLLYYY???? Jonathan is a bit of a talker EXCEPT meals because his father is there. Come on. How's that even impossible? Why would she think he is quiet? Okay, he's quiet but there is a certain degree of it when he's talking. "Probably he likes talking to me?" or maybe not? Juliet snorted. According to Juliet, Jonathan does kinda talk a lot. It's not like she would know him that much. "I don't know, he's a very mysterious guy" yeah, weird and creepy.

As soon as Louisa opened the gift, Juliet's eyes never left the box. OHHHHH! A journal. It's blue, is it because she's a Ravenclaw? Juliet laughed softly seeing it. ANNNNDDD OHHH!!! The second gift made Juliet pout a bit. She wants that hat. It's so pretty and adorable. When Louisa wore the hat, it fitted perfectly. Pffssshhh... since when was he an expert on this? "It looks really good on you" now she wants to go back home, in France, and then scout for a new hat.

Speaking of hats and Jonathan. "Jonathan collects hats" definitely. He has like hundreds of them in his closet. He always think that it's the best accessory, Juliet doesn't believe so. It ruins the hair. "And maybe he finds girls pretty in hat" dunno.

Well, it certainly looked like it worked, which was just about as good as they were going to get before Lex actually tried casting her spell. Vivi went with encouraging, although she was regretting her clearly awesome magnanimity she possessed. She needed to be less giving and stuff.

"Looks about right. If it doesn't work, you can keep trying until the spell ends. Are you willing to give it a go, or do we need to practice again?"

It was right? As in she got it?!

She really was getting better at this magic stuff!!! Now she couldn't wait to try...and of course she would do her best to not hurt the selfless Ravenclaw. Thinking about it, Lex would never have volunteered herself as a target; though that never stopped the others. -___-

"I think I wanna try!" Was she supposed to give her a heads up before she went ahead? she should have! But she really wanted to try noooow. The kid never did have composure when she was excited. Raising her wand quickly she pointed it at the girl and did that wrist movement thing. "Silencio." Instantly she squeezed her eyes shut and hoped she hadn't just turned her friend into a toad like Elodie had done with her cat...she didn't even want to question how the girl had managed to do that with a simple silencing spell. :mellow:

"Noooooo....... they don't. People get spots when they are old. And I am only twelve, not even a teen. A PRE-TEEN." He said quickly, deciding to use his Slytherin scarf to cover up half his face. It was on his chin, so it was quite lucky really.

He had a sudden idea, though.

"Sophie! You're a girl." Right? "You could give me some of your like... make-up." He paused, just for a moment. "Only for that one spot, though!" He wasn't gonna plaster it on and parade down the Great Hall, if that's what you were thinking.

PWEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ, SOPHIE?

Her mouth stretched into a wide smile when the Slytherin giggled again, this was proving to be one of the girl's characteristics. Huh. Very different from the other Kim, but not bad-different. So far so good. And none of her princessy attitude, that she expected to be a hellish one was showing, so yeah... GOOD.

Mysterious guy? Louisa chuckled, "No kidding." He was very secretive. "I think it's because he considers you his sister. You know. You'll always be closer to him than any friend." Louisa knew he considered her his close friend, and she did too, but a cousin was something different. It was pretty good actually that he had someone to talk to and be all gossip-like with. Maybe the gossip-like was a stretch. Yeah, definitely. "He did talk more than usual in his letter to me, so I think my badgering throughout those three years worked." Shooting a beaming grin at the girl.

Laughing the Ravenclaw took off the hat and placed it back in the box, she never wore hats unless she was asked to. The hat he gave her last term was in her closet, more like a souvenir than a piece of accessory, but she liked it just the same. She wore it to one of her night-out with daddy when she dressed all fancy-like, but never again. "I like that he always gives a present of his liking accompanied with one of my liking." He liked hats for girls and Louisa liked journals and books. It was like he was pleasing his friends in his own way. Pretty smart too.

SO. Enough of Johnny. Louisa shifted to face this Juliet and figured it was time to get to know the girl more. "So how do you find Hogwarts so far?" Anyone giving her problems? The head girl here could definitely help out with that bit, heh.

Sophie was trying her best not to chuckle at the situation. Theo looked really upset over this and it was actually kind of adorable. "You're growing up, Theodore!" She said, tapping his shoulder with one of her hands. "It happens to everyone!" And it meant he was healthy, right? That was good!

His sudden change of expression made Sophie blink. "Well... yes..." She was a girl. Huh? Okay, Sophie couldn't help but chuckle now. "Are you sure about this, Theo?" She was sure there were... magical ways to fix this. Though... she didn't know any of them. "I don't really have anything with me right now, but I could try and get something back in the girls dorms, if you really want it." How funny would it be to watch Theo put on make up? Hahaha!

"I've heard that there are some Potions that work really well..." One in particular, from that Weasley shop back in Diagon Alley. She had never tried any of them herself, though, so she couldn't assure him. "But... we can go down to the Common Room now if you want the make up." She didn't really mind. Whatever floated his boat!

To say that she thought Beezus was excited about the puppy was probably the understatement of the year. The girl was flailing, waving her arms around so fast that the Slytherin wouldn't be surprised if the young eaglet would just suddenly take into the air and fly.

Not being able to hold it back anymore, Cass released a hearty laugh at the younger girl's excitement, glad that her present was well appreciated.

"Its a he actually." She said, looking down at the brown puppy who was now standing on its for legs, wagging its tail merrily, waiting to be lifted from the box. She then turned to Beezus and said teasingly "Its ok to touch him - he doesn't bite, and he is your now."

The wide smile on Louisa's face didn't go unnoticed to Juliet when she added the 'just'. She herself, giggled to it as well. She's not planning on entirely calling her Just Louisa. That one is just a joke. Plus, Juliet needs to get comfortable with calling her Louisa. No full name... No Head Girl title... Just Louisa.

Juliet blinked. On contrary, no. Juliet gave her a faint smile. "well, if you consider his constant annoying teasing..." she rolled her eyes. That guy cannot stop teasing Juliet even one bit. And plus his witty remarks. However, it's a miss though. "He's pretty strict too" Juliet nodded. Especially since he's very OCD with EVERYTHING. Juliet cannot stand it. "How about you?" she returned the question 'You guys are pretty close. I bet he tells you things he doesn't tell other people" since Louisa did spend a summer with Jonathan. Juliet does agree to her though. Her cousin barely talks a lot even with people. "Takes a lot of convincing to make him talk, huh?" she chuckled. Only because it's true.

THE HAT. How can Jonathan give her an adorable present and not her? Unfair! Her last gift from her is a muggle pencil.... She can still remember the blank expression she had after she unwrapped his gift. Even though it was a form of joke. He did take her out for some ice cream after that... but still.

Finally!!!!!! A question not pertaining about her cousin. Seriously, everytime she talks someone, Jonathan would always pop up as a follow up question. She doesn't have much to say too other than, he's off to college. Like they all know, he barely talks. "It's been great" she said in a gleeful tone "Except for the fact that I get lost from time to time" hence why she carries a map all the time. "There's a lot of places in and out of the castle" especially the inside. Every floor has about 3 or 4 rooms . It's complicated....
