Lana was a deep in her reading when she heard a voice and looked up. She had blocked out most of the noise around her, but the sound of someone talking to her and their shadow had pulled her back to reality. Blinking for a moment as her mind took in the question, she tilted her head. "Of course, silly bean." Laura usually never asked to join her before, which did kind of puzzle her at the moment. "There is more than enough room for the both of us her," she smiled and she moved over to make more room for her twin.

Taking in just how different Laura looked compare to the last time they saw each other, a look of concern came over Lana. "What's wrong?" she asked. It was not normal at all for her sister to be this quiet and withdrawn.

Just from the looks of Laura, Lana knew that something was seriously not right. They had grown apart in the past two years, but she was still concerned for her sister's well-being and psyche. There had been whispers around about her sister as of late, but she never did give them much thought. There was a lot of things said before, but never cared to give them much credit. Perhaps she should have paid more attention.

Hearing her sister, Lana frowned and wrapped her arm around her twin. "Don't say that Silly Bean," she replied as she patted her back. It was very rare to see her sister in this state and it really concerned her more. "Why would you even say that for?" Yes, Laura could be foolish, but she was not a fool. "Silly, but not stupid. Wait, did someone call you stupid?" Now, she was getting a bit upset. Did someone really insult her sister like that?

Lana blinked as she heard her name and nodded. "Yes, it's me. Who else would it be?" How many people called her twin Silly Bean? "Of course, I care. How could you say that to me?" Yes, they haven't been close since they started Hogwarts; but that didn't mean that she didn't care or anything. They just weren't as close as they used to be at the moment. At least they were talking to each other unlike last year.

Taken back slightly but the way that Laura was acting, Lana crossed her arms over her chest. "You are neither stupid or ugly! Why would you even think something ludicrous like that?" She had a feeling where this was coming from, but she wanted Laura to tell her herself what was going on. "I want to know why you are acting like this," she demanded. "And don't lie to me. I promised mummy and daddy that we would look out for each other and I will not be made a liar!"

Lana frowned and hugged her sister again, giving her a light squeeze. "It's okay, Silly Bean. Just remember that I'll always care," she explained. They were distance at times but they were still sisters and Laura needed to remember that. "I've missed you too. Now, tell me what's wrong and we'll see what we can do," she added.

Hearing Laura belittle herself really upset Lana. "You are NOT ugle or stupid and we are BOTH weird. There is nothing wrong with that Silly Bean." They were a bit on the weird side, but there wasn't anything new to them. In her mind, being normal wasn't all that fun any ways. Giving her sister another hug, she frowned. "You're very upset and you need to calm down a bit." She could understand why Laura was like this but acting out was not going to help. Listening closely, she nodded a bit before talking again. "I really doubt Oakey and you broke up because you are stupid." There had to be another reason, but she wasn't about to try to figure that out at the moment. That was another conversation all together. "You going soft?" She had to let out a small laugh there. "They really mustn't know you if they think that." Shaking her head again, she looked back to Laura. "I'm not a liar, so we will stick together." She had made that promise and she had every intention of keeping it even if it was more difficult then she wanted.
