The second year rose to her feet and crossed her arms across her chest facing the fountain. She needed concentrating now…They might get cursed! Cassia nodded at Lex saying that they needed to be careful.Then the girl said something about mummies..tombs and stuff. She tipped her chin up and looked at Lex. "Ehh….I do not know what you are talking about.." She said not sure. Was it a common thing that everyone knew about it and only Cassia was clueless about it like always? "Tell me more about this." She said to Lex though she knew she wasn't going to like what she's gonna hear but if this thing was important to help them understand this situation then she needed to know about it.

Cassia wasn't surprised that Lex didn't know that Lafay just had her baby. "Last term's feast she fainted and stuff then we found out that she was pregnant." Cassia told Alexa. And it was the first time she had told someone something they didn't know. She liked the feeling. Then at the mention of sickness ,Cassia paused thinking of the situation. "Actually, I think she is both sick and pregnant." She was a first year then and couldn't keep up with the gossip. "But now I guess she's just sick." She shrugged. Yeah who cares there were more important stuff now. And yeah they shouldn't bother her for their own sake more than hers anyway.

The Slytherin swallowed hard afraid of her own assumptions. She really knew how to freak her own self out. And seeing that Lex was convinced too, made Cassia sure that this was real serious and creepy. The twelve-years old shook her head and sighed, "Though there must be no exceptions," She said. "I think interacting with one cursed person won't be that bad." Wow that sounded creepy. Change her mind..Cassia was a couple of steps to do that! But she needed to feign courage. "N-no..We can't bail on Hogwarts," She said her voice shaking a liiiitle bit. "I-I-I mean we're the school's only hope." Even she found a trouble keeping a straight face saying that.

"Okay, so we should set our strategies." She said sitting on the edge f the fountain again. "Do we tell anyone?" She asked looking up at the lioness.

Alexa's eyes followed the girl as she got up from her seat and folded her arms. Good to know the girl was starting to think. She slouched a bit and ran her fingers through the water as she waited for her to sort things through in her head. Critical thinking was key right now.--HUH? Wait...she wanted her to tell her more about those mummy curses and stuff??? Ahem. She could so do this. "Well they usually happen in like Egypt 'cause that's where most mummies are and you see most curses are in these things called pyramids which actually have dead people in them. Now the scary thing is that the dead people can curse you if you go snooping around in their graves." Which was why they needed to be careful when they were snooping around with this curse thing.

She straightened a bit as the girl told her of the Potions Mistress fainting then the discovery that she was pregnant. Seemed like quite a bit happened before she got to the school. "...That's uh...that's pretty interesting..." Who the hell thought it would've been a good idea to make that woman a mother?!?!?! Had the whole world gone mad?! All she could do was nodd at that last part while she thought. So she was still sick. Pity.

Lex nearly hopped up when she heard her say there could be no exception--NO; Vivi was always the exception! But then...it seemed Cassia was making an exception to that whole exception rule. She could calm down. "Good. Glad you agree...besides..I don't think she's got the curse anyway..." The girl was anything but boring! Now that that was settled. "Right! We can't give up on them just yet! They still need us!" And she wouldn't stop until the curse was gone. This was serious business; they couldn't afford to slack off.

Cassia sitting again meant she might have been thinking even straighter. Lex shook her head slowly at her question. "Nah...we're not sure who's infected and we don't wanna risk anyone finding out that we know..." Her eyes widened a bit. "They might get vicious..." Most older kids were vicious and adding the curse would've made them worse.

"A caterpillar?!" she burst out laughing again. She looked around where Harvey had been hiding his face, an eyebrow raised. "I don't see any caterpillar..." she said, looking back at him suspiciously. Then he said it left. "Where'd it go then, Harvs? Huh? Where'd it go? It couldn't have gotten away THAT fast..." she said, looking around them. Nope, no sign of any caterpillar anywhere. A grin spread across her face again. She laughed. "So that means...you WERE blushing! Admit it!" she said. HA! She got him goooood!

....Hmph. Ronnie so could blame it on the weather. "Okay, I didn't m-mean to say it's erm...cold. That's not why they're red...they're read 'cause...um... it's just so warm out. My cheeks get real red when it's warm out. Yeah, yeah, that's why!" she said, nodding quickly. Yeah, that sounded good. She was just so brilliant. She beamed.

"Well, just loads of studying for OWLs. That's basically it." she said with a deep sigh. She hated studying. She was actually starting to hate the library now that she was going there almost every day. It seemed she rarely got any free time. She smiled when he said he had been with Ella a lot. They sure seemed like the perfect couple to Ronnie! They were adorable together! "Yeah? What kinda stuff do you guys do together?" she asked curiously.

Renesmee understood that she had made a huge mistake. She knew she had used him, but it wasn't like she had done it on purpose nor did was she happy she hurt Logan. These things happened, sometimes you couldn't controll life and people made mistakes every day. So why couldn't Logan let it go?

"Please..please don't." Was all she could utter sounding really silly too. "I..erm..I want to apologize again. I don't think you realize how sorry I am about what I did." The words were finally coming out. "I honestly didn't mean to cause any harm. Can't we just be friends?" Okay that could have been asking the impossible. "Or would you at least forgive me?" Come one that would be the least he could do for her. She felt really bad about the whole entire thing.

"This is the song that doesn't end....aye it goes on and on my friend."

Another round of the song was just beginning as Gideon stepped out from the covered walkway of the corridor to the walled in courtyard under the daytime sun. It was a beautiful clear day and the sound of his voice was sure to be heard through the open air to anyone who may be passing nearby. He got to one of the benches positioned within the courtyard and eased himself down as he finished up the latest stanza.

"Some people...started singing it not knowing what it was. And they'll continue singing it forever just because...." The tune and words drifting off as Gideon decided he needed a break of sorts.

Whew...playing, singing and walking at the same time could take a lot out of you.
