Van walk to the courtyard she was very excited to meet new people this year.Suddenly she drop her books.Then Van quickly pick up her books and walk to a bench and sat down.Van open her book and began to read while tapping her foot.Then she heard a loud lump in front on her.

Harvey was walking through the courtyard when he saw that a girl had dropped her books, he was about to help when he saw that she had picked them up and down. He continued walking when he saw that the pile of books she had was unstable and he could see that a book was about to fall, but before he had a chance to stop the book from falling it fell. He went towards the bench and picked up the book, he then turned to the girl "Umm excuse me, you dropped this book" he said to her as he held out her book for her

After waiting for the first year to answer her question, Gwendolyn heard Serenity say something about already knowing her name. Mhm. Well, since Presley was there and just had mentioned the Ravenclaw’s name, there was no need for Gwen to ask from where the Slytherin knew about it. Mehh. Moving on. ‘Fifth’, she answered rather curtly. And now she was the one who knew something about Serenity, who was clearly a firstie.
Apparently her answer had completely confused the Ravenclaw. She, personally, couldn't understand how anyone WOULD deliberately want to be a Slytherin. Well obviously she could see how someone would before they had been sorted, and before they knew what kind of a house it was. They common room was creepy and underwater, and most of the Slytherins she'd met didn't seem too nice. Except Kennedy, Mr. Headboy was a nice one. PLUS he didn't like Rora or West or Theo either.

She was fifth? Hmm? She guessed she looked about that old, but she couldn't know. Being a fifth year made her what? Fifteen, sixteen? Something like that. It sounded old when she was only eleven. "So you get to do tour OWLs this year, right?" Seri asked. The idea of tests and exams terrified her, though she also knew they had one every year at the end, and she looked forward to that no more than she looked forward to Herbology.

Harvey listened as she answered his questions " Yeah it is" he smiled, "Ahh ok that's nice of them to want you all together. Aww I'm sorry to hear that. No no, it's not. Totally upto you what you want to tell me" he nodded. It was upto her since she didn't have to reveal too much afterall they had only just met.

Sutton raised her eyebrows as Addy explained what she was doing... and then she just laughed. Ballet... in the courtyard... in tutus... wow. So, apparently, some people at this school DID know how to make their own fun. Before she got a chance to respond, though, another girl showed up. Looking between the other girl, Addy, and the tutus Addy had in her hand, Sutton shrugged and giggled again. "Yeah... sure... I'll join you..." she said.

Reaching out toward Addy, she took one of the tutus out of the older girl's hand. As she began to pull it on over her workout clothes, she turned to talk to the girl she didn't know. "Hi... I'm Sutton, by the way," she said.

This was so insane.

Tag was trying to get accoustomed on how to move in the costume. When he took a step his body would lean over to one side or his stomach would double in and he tripped forward like a horse trying to learn how to trot for the first time. But after a few steps he figured out how to center himself. An so he slowly creeped up behind Landon, who was ever so kindly, talking to Melanie. Perfect.

Cake flavor? Tag caught a piece of what Melanie was trying to ask Landon.Yeah, asking about the weather would probably seem less suspicious but considering Melanie asked about food Landon might get distracted. Still, Tag couldn't help but silently giggle to himself. Closer and closer he came behind Landon, until he was in earshot-but far enough so that if Tag accidentally tripped, the whole 'scare Landon' plan would not fall to pieces.

And with a loud roar, like a lion Tag went "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" while flailing around his arms all the same.


Landon waited for Melanie to answer and as he did, he popped another oreo in his mouth, chewing it. YUMMMM. It was so delicious, like the best of the best. Like-

oh right. :mellow:

Back to Melanie. He raised an eyebrow at her question and shrugged. Had she really come all the way out here to ask him about what kind of flavor of cake he liked? "Well you better be making me cake now." He nodded. "I like chocolate chip cake...and chocolate cake...and every kind of flavor really, wait. Is there an oreo flavored cake? Because if there is, then that one is my favorite." He continued to talk about his favorite cake flavors when all of a sudden he heard a loud roar come from right behind him. He jumped and screamed a little and turned, seeing the one and only Tag Kildare.

"I should've known. Thank goodness there isn't a teddy bear around or a mascot costume." He said, shaking his head.

Wait a second.

"Do I not get cake now?"

Melanie nodded her head taking mental note of that stuff like it was really important. Because it was really just a distraction until Tag came and scared Landon in the bunny costume. She just continued to nod her head, her brown eyes darting around before she head something and jumped.

Though she had been expecting it, Melanie had gotten a little bit of a scared too and let out a quiet squeak. Wait.

Landon wasn't running. He was crying. He wasn't screaming his head off. "WAIT. You're not scared?" Melanie asked, her eyes wide as she looked at the blonde in the bunny costume then back at Landon. She could've sworn he'd be afraid of it. With a slight frown on her face, she kicked a pebble, looking up when she heard the next question. Was he not getting cake? Was that really what he was more concerned about? She couldn't help but giggle at the question.

"You'll get cake on your birthday," Melanie said nodding her head.

Because that was coming up soon, right?

Less wrist? Did it really matter? It probably did because when it came to most spells she had done what everyone else did but hers never seemed to work. She would have to re-visit that wrist theory. Alexa tried paying extra special attention when Vivi took her hand and tried demonstrating once more. She had to admit...there was a difference...

Yeah...luckily Lex was at a stage where hair was hair no matter how ruffled. She didn't mind at all the fact that the older girl went had ruffled it a bit more might have had something to do with her being who she was too; people seemed to enjoy doing that--especially Taylor.

"What exactly am I trying it on...because I mean, the Charm's Professor told me I should try it on a few students or a frog." That was one of the things she never thought a Professor would advise her to do.

According to most people, whenever Cass felt bad about something, she overcompensated when it came with making up for it.

Today was a prime example.

The 7th year Slytherin tapped her black Mary Janes on the cobblestone floor of the courtyard, a large box with holes all over it standing next to her. Thank Merlin for turning 17, she honestly wouldn't know how to lug huge thing around without using any spells.

"Where is sheeeeee?" The blonde whined as she absentmindedly tapped her wand on her arm, waiting for Beezus to arrive.

Once she had set foot on the square, she immediately looked around for the blonde. THERE! Beezus ran towards the Slytherin, tackling her into a hug. "Cass! I'm so sorry I took so long." I fell asleep and Erin didn't wake me up and... Yeah, that's that. Oh, she missed the girl.

Beezus commented as she eyed Cassandra. Mhhmm. See how the green scheme of their uniform brought out the best on her hair and eyes?

"At least you could nap after Herbology!" Cass said with a laugh "I needed a shower every time that class finished!" She said, recalling her Herbology misadventures...Her and magical plants, definitely do not mix.

"Aww, thank you" Cass said with a smile, sheepishly accepting the compliment . She honestly didn't feel pretty in her rumpled, since this morning, school robes, but whatever.

The blonde then grinned excitedly as she crouched down to the box's level and said "Remember last summer when you wouldn't shut up about wanting a dog?" Or rather who wouldn't forget that Beezus wouldn't shut up about puppies... "Well, a few days before we left for Hogwarts, someone left a litter of Pomeranian puppies on our doorstep, and I just remembered that you wanted one the other day - so I had mother send one over."

She then opened the box and revealed a small brown, furry puppy with sparkling brown eyes that were looking up at them.

"We already took them to a muggle vet, so he already has all of his shots - all you need to do is maintain them, and have him vaccinated again when he grows up, I think.." She said " I wasn't paying much attention to the vet's instructions."

"So, what do you think?"

Yeah...luckily Lex was at a stage where hair was hair no matter how ruffled. She didn't mind at all the fact that the older girl went had ruffled it a bit more might have had something to do with her being who she was too; people seemed to enjoy doing that--especially Taylor.

Oh, hmmm. Who could Lex test the spell on? Vivi glanced around the courtyard without much success before heaving an enormous sigh. At least her wand motions were generally correct, and she wasn't setting people on fire in class.

Or not that Vivi had heard.

"You can test it on me, I suppose, but you need to learn the counter-spell first. Have you already learned Finite Incantatem?"

Alexa began rocking back and forth on her heels as she watched Vivi search the surrounding area...hopefully she found a frog because Lex didn't like the idea of pointing a wand at people--correction, she didn't like the idea of pointing her wand at innocent people. Yeah, those others were still gonna get it.

She stopped her swaying motion when she heard her give a sigh...she didn't like the sound of that sigh.

"Noooo...I've never heard of that one but's let's back track a bit, you know, so I can understand--You want me to do WHAT?!" Had Vivi somehow managed to trip, hit her head, suffer from a minor concussion then get up and act like nothing was wrong, all in the space of the blink of an eye? That was the only explanation Alexa could think of for the Ravenclaw wanting her to wave her wand at her. Merlin, it must have been one hard fall!

The girl was not inspiring confidence today. First the threats, and now the monumental freak out about having to cast against another person. How was she willing to cast against someone she disliked in only half knowing the spell but unwilling to test it on an innocent? How did she expect to learn?

"Come up with a better idea and I'm game. You want to randomly cast on one of these people? Do you have a pet to practice on? I'm not going to let you try it on my kitten... I'm bigger and easier to repair."

It should have been illegal to give a kid choices like those. Granted she didn't mind casting at random people--that would have been fun and with varying results she would have been thoroughly entertained throughout the duration of the practice BUT there was hardly anyone around...except a few people she knew...and they hadn't done anything to annoy her... Then there was the suggestion of a pet? Lex shook her head vigorously. She had basically broken her wrist for the little guy; she wasn't going to wave a wand at him.

With a heavy sigh she agreed. "Fine...--there's no way anything could go wrong, right?" She wasn't too keen on the idea of hurting Vivi; the girl was the first older kid to not yell at her for her heroism...you didn't find many people like her very often you know. "And how do I do that Finite Incantatem ?" See? She was willing to try.

Well suppose you found a long lost sister and brother.your parents had passed and was going to live with the sister.The older sister you grew up with doesn't want to live with them until she healed.
