The first thing that Ira saw as she entered, was the huge gingerbread house! It was really HUGE! And looked beautiful! Pulling her coat a little tighter around her, Ira immediately made her way over there.

Was she supposed to go in? Could she go inside the gingerbread house? Debating with herself, and wondering whether to enter or not, she took one glance at it and entered. And lo! It was beautiful on the inside!

And was it covered with what she imagined it to be? Was that all CANDY? Ira just stared with her mouth wide open, and already watering! Ooooh! This was gonna be fun!

Gingerbread houses. Every Holiday season Presley made them at her maternal granparents house. But this? This was a life-sized gigantic house made entirely out of candy. This was Holiday Heaven. Pres stepped inside with awe. She wandered through the downstairs, and the upstairs, not daring to touch anything. Besides, the chocolate stairs had already been contaminated with shoes, right? Not that Presley's were dirty. They were brand new, but she'd walked in them down seven flights of stairs from the Ravenclaw Common Room. She wasn't going to chance it.

Theo limped, yes limped, to this winter situation that the prefects had organised. He hadn't made his judgements just yet, all he could think about was how much he hated the cold weather. Though, he did like the festive season of Christmas. He definitely missed his family, much more than he thought he would.

After finally being discharged from the Hospital Wing, Theo was ready to receive as much attention from his peers as possible. And if that meant he needed to completely go overboard with his injuries, then he would do just that.

The Gingerbread House looked cool, and he needed sweets, so wearing his thick winter coat, Theo shuffled inside. Ooooooh, there was a jelly chair. Pepping up in his step, the second year bounced on the chair, which bounced BACK. "Owee-owee-oweeee." Still a bit sore here, ya know!

THIS WAS AWESOME.

The twelve-year-old skipped in, grinning. Sooo cool. Lalalalaaa. She froze though, as soon as she got through the door. This was much too much like Hansel and Gretel. O____e The Headmistress was gonna fatten her up and EAT her. SHE WAS TOO YOUNG TO BE EATEN. NUUUUUUH. *mini!panic!attack* A cry of pain caught her attention - the headmistress was already cooking someone - and she turned around, wide eyed. Oh. Just Theo. She bounced over.

"HAI THEOOOOO."

Oh. Right. He was in pain.

*sad!face*

"How're ye feelin'?"

Once he had stopped bouncing up and down, Theo relaxed into the jelly chair and fought the urge to turn over and lick it. The fumes of sweets in this place was enough to send anyone coo-coo. He suddenly heard the familiar sound of his best friend, and he beamed. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaai, BLUE." He hadn't seen her since he was almost killed in the stands. It was nice of her to visit him. COUGH COUGH. It was nice of EVERYONE to visit him.

Oh well. "I'm not too bad. A little bit sore but at least I can make the next Quidditch match." Which was a match that he had been excited about for a very long time. Their rematch against Ravenclaw. After they RUDELY snatched their cup last term.

He wasn't a sore loser. He was being truthful.

Sarah made her way over to the gingerbread house next, her coracle filling up quickly. She made it into the door alright... Seeing that the jelly couches were busy Sarah went into the next room and decided just to lick the walls... before some one else licked them first you see. She placed her coracle on the ground and set to work.. um play
Lick... umm... strawberry... Sarah licked again...that was CHOCOLATE! Yummy, then there was grape which was also yummy. Another lick got her paper.. which was rather tasteless (Sarah had tasted paper before you see). Farm dirt, cinnamon, grass and then she got vomit.... she felt like she was going to vomit ---- YUCK! Luckily her wand was close at hand and Sarah conjured water and swallowed lots of water to get rid of the taste.

Other people might have learnt their lesson, but not Sarah. Forever an optimist she thought that there were much more things that were better. She made a mental note not to lick in that area again though. She was lucky as the next ten minutes yielded bubble gum, grape, apple, chocolate frog, pumpkin, watermelon and vanilla.

Satisfied with her exploits (mainly due to fact that she had just gotten yucky buttered popcorn) she went upstairs and interesting furniture greeted her... Was that chocolate wafer cupboard doors? Sarah tore one off and placed it in her coracle. She then helped her self to a bit of the fridge which was white chocolate and took from the flower pot chocolate chip gravel. She then helped her self to the marshmellow couch... well its pillows actually.

There was a table there and Sarah took a bit out of it...

Blue plopped into the jelly chair next to him, and bounced up and down a couple of times. She BEAMED at her best friend. "Oh. That's good at least. You're looking better anyway. Not so deaded-like." Mhmmm. Cause it was kinda worrying when he was just lying there, crying. What if he actually HAD died? She'd've lost her bestest buddy. But she'd have West so it wouldn't be TOO bad. Aaaaand Bliss. So, if Theo did die she was covered. Yep.

"Oh riiiiiight. We're playing against each other aren't we?" Awkward. "We won't fight about it, yeah?" Cause...they were both sore losers. The temper tantrum on the pitch proved that. She still hadn't forgiven Beezus for getting mad about that.

"OH. And I promise not to kill you."

How nice this was! Taryn was mighty impressed by all of the hard work that had been put into the planning alone. She ooohed and awwed at pretty much everything there was to see as she pulled walked with Milton through the Great Hall.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSP!!!!!

A giant gingerbread house! NO WAY! Taryn was probably more excited about that than anything else in the Great Hall. Stopping suddenly, she gasped LOUDLY and turned her big eyes on to Milton, "Oh goodness! Look how big it is!" DID HE SEE? He hadn't spontaneously gone blind? Turning to him fully, Taryn giggled and tugged on the boy's hand, "Let's go inside."

Milton was practically being dragged into the Great Hall by his girlfriend, but he was totally okay with it. The event this term was pretty cool (mostly because Milton kind of sort of got to help make it).

Following her in, Milton stopped beside Taryn and stared up at the huge gingerbread house. That was pretty sweet (badum-tsssss). Milton chuckled at Taryn's excitement. She was sure cute. "Okay, let's go." He was sure he didn't have a choice, but he didn't mind at all.

Milton took the lead and tugged Taryn inside the gingerbread house. The first thing he noticed of course, was the chairs that were... "Jello?" Milton walked up to one and poked it. YUP. JELLO. Coolest thing EVER.

Yeah, you could say Taryn was a little excited, but she just couldn't help it! Christmas was her most favorite time of the year and she just knew that this one was going to be awesome. She grinned happily when Milton agreed to go inside the house, not like she'd been expecting him to say no. Hehe.

This time she wasn't the tugger and more the tuggee, but this she didn't mind either. She took cautious steps at first, as if sure the whole thing was going to crumble apart like a huge cookie. "Jello chairs?" Ewww! They would be all... wiggly! She nudged Milton, "Sit on it?" PLEASE? Hehe. She wanted to see what would happen before she tried it.

She wanted him to sit on the jiggly chair? "Why don't YOU sit on it?" He didn't want to get his pants sticky. Would they get sticky? Milton poked it again and eyed it hesitantly. Okay, he was way to curious.

Milton plopped down onto the chair and felt it wiggle and bounce beneath him. He made a funny face and wiggled around on it for a second. "This is... an odd feeling." He looked at Taryn and then patted the jello chair next to him. "Here, have a seat." Join in on the weird jiggly-butt feeling.

"Because I look cuter than you do!" So if anyone was going to get sticky pants, it should be him. Taryn nudged him again. "And boyfriends are like supposed to do those things... test... jello chairs." YEAH. Milton. Be a good boyfriend!

She watched him sit and... wiggle. Hehehe. Covering her mouth, she politely giggled at him and then stepped around to plant her cute bottom on one of the chairs. "Oh!" Taryn giggled as her chair began to bounce. "This is so awkward and weird but fun!" HEHEHE.

Milton!! Presley was excited to see him for just a second, before she realized he was with a girl. A girl who acted very much like they were in a relationship. Well, now her whole plan was spoiled. But, nobody would be better than Milton Shaklebolt. Maybe he could he her friend? She waved and smiled. "Hey, Milton," and then skipped out of the gingerbread house as if nothing had ever happened. As if she wasn't upset about having to find a new person.

Melanie stared at the gingerbread house in front of her. It wasn't just a gingerbread house though... it was the biggest gingerbread house Melanie had ever seen. And it was right there. In front of her. The Gryffindor felt tiny standing in front of it and she was sure her jaw had dropped while she stared at it in all its glory.

It was beautiful. She wondered if they were allowed to break a little piece off of it... and... eat it? No. Probably not. The girl didn't dare take a step inside just yet though. She was going to stare at the house a little bit longer. Plus, if she walked too much she might trip and fall and ruin the house or something.

Milton gasped and made a face of fake shock and offense. "I beg to differ. I am obviously the cuter one in this relationship." Because everything about Milton's brooding attitude screamed CUTE, right? No. But that was the point of sarcasm. And, by the way, Milton had never seen anything before that said guys were supposed to test out jello chairs. So there.

Shifting again, Milton watched Taryn sit down and laughed at her reaction. "Mostly awkward." Milton stood up from the wiggly chair and checked the back of his pants to make sure he wasn't sticky, and he wasn't. Good! He looked up when he heard a familiar voice and saw Presley leaving the gingerbread house and he smiled at her. "Hey Presley," he said as she left. Then he returned his attention to Taryn. "Shall we go upstairs?" he asked Taryn, holding his hand out for her.

Taryn gave Milton a LOOK and this LOOK clearly said 'Don't kid yourself, sweetheart.' "Beg all you want love, that doesn't make it true." HEHE. She grinned at him and wiggled along with the bouncy jello chair.

Oh? Were they done with the bouncy chairs already? Alright then. Taryn definitely glanced at Milton's pants too, just to be sure that the jello chair hadn't left a stain. She didn't want jello stains on her cute clothes. She did see the girl walk past and obviously heard her speak to Milton seeing as Milton was right beside her. "Who's that?" She asked curiously. She was remotely sure that she wasn't a Slytherin. With a grin, she took Milton's hand and used it to pull herself up from the jello chair, just because she COULD. Hehe. "Yes, let's." She was QUITE interested to see what else this giant house had in store.

BOUNCY BOUNCE. Theo giggled when Blue sat down and started bouncing with him. Heheheh.

"Yeah. The healer said that I am lucky to be alive." He lied through his teeth. Blue would NEVER know. "But cos I'm a soldier, I pulled through." He was a soldier and a KING, remember? Cue the chest puff.

Yep, they were! Theodore nodded, kind of awkwardly. In all truths, he wasn't too fussed that he was going against Blue. He had self control with his quidditching, and it's not like HE would hit HER with a bludger or anything. Because she was his friend. "Pfft, no we won't fight." Even though they would fight. Blue and Theo fought about EVERYTHING. Really, their best friendship was doomed from the start. And that started right now.

"YOU won't kill me. We're going to demolish Ravenclaw." Big word for a big promise there. This. Was. War. After all.

"You could've died?!" Blue chewed the inside of her cheek, kinda regretting her early thoughts about how it wouldn't matter so much if he died. Cause it would. She'd miss him. A lot. Not that she'd ever tell him that. Because he'd be a boy and all Theo about it like he was with the whole Ellec thing. "Oh. Good." Twas. "Do ya still hurt?"

"Cos we don't ever fight." Which was a lie. Cos everything they said to each other seemed to turn into an argument with them. Twas a wonder how they were still friends. Blue BEAMed anyway.

Oh look. There goes their promise not to fight about quidditch.

"NO YOU ARE NAWT." She folded her arms across her chest and glared at him. "And I could kill you! I nearly killed Milton! And he's twice your size!" So there. Sniff.

Belle wanted to check out the Gingerbread house. She was excited to go in it. She heard that the furniture was edible. Now this is what Belle wanted to try!

She waited in line with the other students.When Belle entered the second floor, her sweet tooth was watering

Belle found some graham crackers to chew on and knew this house was already amazing <3.

Taking careful measured steps Nell eased around the door of the giant gingerbread house her mouth agape. Merlin, I love magic! The place was amazing! Stepping into the first room she sauntered around taking all of it in. It was just like someone had taken a miniature and just blown it up to human size. The place smelled like pure sugar. Nell pushed her hands into her pockets to keep herself from reaching out and grabbing handfuls of the sweet stuff.

She had chosen to dress up a little though she hadn't over done it like some people she had seen. She was wearing her favorite red sweater that buttoned up in the front and the sleeves belled out around her hands. She had decided on jeans because they were comfortable and warm. Annnndddd....she was wearing high heeled boots that fit snugly over her jeans and came up to her knees. Idly she wondered how the heels weren't sinking into the graham cracker floor.

As she drifted to the next room her hand went to the small package that was in her coat pocket. The neatly wrapped package was still there. Smiling she tucked some of her hair behind her ear and kept looking around the magical house.

A place to think.... Oh, this seems like one! Or a good place to EAT.

That was what was going through Edmund Clay's mind as he entered the edible heaven that was the Gingerbread House. With the recent events running through his mind, he walked around, eyeing certain things with interest and scoffing at others. Seriously, jelly chairs? Like... wibbly wobbly gelatine? For someone to sit on? Okay then. He turned around see if there was anything he liked and was instantly in front of none other than Nell!

Without hesitating, he hugged her REALLY tightly. "Gosh, Nell! You look AWESOME!" Was he meant to dress up? Yet ANOTHER memo he'd missed!

The giant bear hug left her breathless but she was laughing as well. Reaching up she ran her hands through his hair and then kissed him. It had been a couple of days since they had seen one another. Homework had had her bogged down for hours at a time and she had to sleep sometime too right?

Pulling back she giggled at him. "You always look good to me stud."

Ooooh. One his favourite types of kisses. The 'I haven't seen you in FOREVER' kind. And it was pleasantly surprising after all the drama he'd been dealing with. Grinning at her as if he'd earned the kiss and was totally happy now he'd got it, he laughed at her response. "So, how's the homework coming along?" That'd been why she'd not been around, right?

Nell groaned aloud leaned her head back with her eyes on the candy ceiling. Her hair came loose from her behind her ears when she finally straightened up. The load of homework that she had had was crazy. "I finally got it all done but I thought my poor hand was going to fall off."

She held up her right hand and pouted. Nell had never written so much in her life! And she was only a sixth year! What was next year going to be like?! She didn't want to think about it so she refocused on Ed. "Did you miss me?"
