"Potions and charms are my best classes!" said the blonde. It sounded strange when she said charms was one of her best classes. Her last name was charm...so it fits! "My worst class though is herbology" she frowned when she mentioned the word 'herbology'. Most boring class ever!

Coming back to school always made her forget about the drama in her life. "Home isn't bad for me, I just prefer it here. So I can get away from family drama, you know?" said the blonde.

Chelsea was honestly surprised in herself how well she had taken what happened with Ryan over the summer. "I'm just excited for this year. Now that I'm not wrapped up in some silly relationship I can finally just do whatever" she smiled.

It was like Chelsea was her twin sister. They were both blonde, and both liked potions, and both were third year snakes. Woah there. "And oh god yes!" she giggled. "Herbology can be so annoying." Not to mention Flying, or Arithmancy.

"Well, I guess it's kind of intresting for me, I come home from Hogwarts to find my dad's left for Sweden, my house has been sold, and my Mum's remarried some American... Naturally, I'm not exactly thrilled." she sighed. Way to go Eliza, meet this girl and tell her your whole life history. Oh, well, she'd made it her personal mission to now annoy her parents, and step-parents, in any way she could.

Either way, whats done is done, and she was NOT going to turn into some sad, soppy mess spending time crying about coming from a 'broken home'. "Hopefully it'll be a busy term."

"Thank you." he replied and took Kennedy's hand. "Mordred Mordaunt, fourth year." he added.



Modred looked at Aurora, then to the prefect who introduced himself earlier. “Soooo, he’s Kennedy the boyfriend.” he said as he looked at his direction. He leaned forward and pointed at him. “I thought he was Sebastian.” He said in a serious tone, trying to make Aurora smile.

Tapping the table, he paused and looked at the plate in front of him. How he wish the food will appear soon, because he felt a little bit awkward right now. “So, you want to talk about it with me?” he asked.


Well, that’s what best friends do, right? Before he could even ask more questions, a cauldron cake landed on one of the newly sorted Slytherin.


Mordred snickered at the three then back to Aurora. “What a waste. That could have just landed on this plate. I’m starving!” he exclaimed.

The culprit had made her move. She hadn't intended for the cauldron cake to hit anyone but maybe the box of yummy cookies would help? She wondered as she quickly made her way over to the Slytherin table.

"Hellooooo" it was an elongated hello. "Cookies?" She asked holding up the box filled with pinata cookies. Yummy little thingies - they were delicious and filled with candy. The multicoloured cookies were delicious. Mhm. No poison or anything.

THERE SHE WAS.

"She's going to throw the COOKIES, guys." TAKE COVER. Theodore pulled out a chocolate frog from his stash and threw it at the girl square in the face.

In other news, the multicoloured cookies were cool...

Woah Eliza was a lot like Chelsea. It was almost as if they were related. "Divination too...so pointless" said the blonde in a bored tone to emphasize how much she hated the class. What was the point of Herbology and Divination anyway?

"I guess your right that doesn't sound like an exciting holiday. Sounds like a complete life change to me and the worst part is you didn't even know" said the blonde. She knew family drama...she had tons of it too. "I live with my aunt and uncle. My parents aren't around, they were involved with the dark arts. Lets just say their all too proud purebloods" Chelsea admitted. It wasn't like her to tell a complete stranger but she had a feeling Eliza was going to be a good friend. "And my holiday wasn't great either. At the last minute my boyfriend told me he was going to durmstrang and he left me because he 'couldn't handle it' and surprisingly I'm ok with it though"

The melting chocolate frog smacked her straight in the face. Brilliant. However when it hit her you could tell she wasn't oh-so-peachy-keene and happy. Her eyes flashed darkly and her hair began to slowly change from root down to the blackest black.

"Not going to throw the cookie" she glared - chocolate still dripping down her face. Picking one open she walked over to the ewwwww smelly boy and put the cookie infront of him. "Smack it...it opens" she nodded. "I didn't mean to throw that stupid cauldron cake - I was trying to launch it into my mouth and I failed" what no one ever heard of a clumsy person?

Reaching into her pocket of her robes she pulled out a bottle of scent-be-gone a pet deodorizer. "You could use this...did a cat pee on you?" She asked.

Adarian saw the cake hit his Housemate and he winced. Whoever threw that was gonna get it for sure. He saw new faces arrive and he smiled at them his pale blue eyesvdancing with glee. This looked like it was going to be the best First year in history. He had already made a few friends and was eagerly looking forward to the year.

Theodore smiled slightly as the frog melted on her face. Oops. Really, it was just a spur of the moment. He wasn't an evil Snakey. Honesttttttt.

Clearing his throat, Theo took one of the cookies and cracked it open. ZOMGGGGGGG, all those m&m's. He nommed them quickly then looked to the girl again. "Urrr..... sorry?" But how can you TRY and get it in your mouth and it accidentally flew to a different table and hit a Slytherin in the head?

Must of been one hell of a throw.

Mika chuckled when he said he spilled his water. "I just was wondering if someone's creepy cat had decided to use you instead of the box...it happened to me with my sister's Cat before." she didn't like Tantrum he was a pain.

She couldn't help but giggle when she spotted him snatching and spraying the lovely deodorizer. The scent was gone. SHE COULD BREATH AGAIN! Yay.

"Yeah lets just say I won't be trying for quidditch" she giggled. She'd be the death of the team with her coordination skills. Right. Right? Wrong. She had GREAT aim when she wanted it.

Wiping off the chocolate frog she just smiled. "I'm Amelia - you can call me Mika though"...wait he was on the train with her earlier. "Oh I met you earlier with Blue and everyone on the train - I was the girl who climbed onto the luggage rack" she chuckled.

Elle laughed as she saw him launch into manly poses, and imagined him twelve years from now riding a dragon with his father and explosions and he probably had a really cool sword or something. She hadn't really thought about her future much. "Oh I think it'd be really cool to work in the Department of Mysteries... Aren't they called Unspeakables or something? That'd be the coolest job." Maaaybe even cooler than an undercover agent... "But why have lizards when there are DRAGONS. Ten times more awesome!"

She did a halfhearted huff and looked at her empty plate. "It really wasn't smart to skip breakfast today..." She started gazing back up at the ceiling, glancing up at Ursa Minor and Draco. "I know! I'm really excited for Astronomy and Potions I think..." Astronomy would be soo easy but also great cause the stars are great and its great to learn things about the world around us cause the world is really cool and great and Elle loved stars a ton.

"Exactly! I mean how many people actually have any powers to see the future? Like, none!" she sighed in annoyance. "Just so useless..." she muttered.

"I get what you mean, my parents weren't exactly the nicest of witches and wizards, if they had it their way, well Hogwarts probably wouldn't be around!" Chelsea totally got her. "And that really sucks, I guess he's just a bit off a wuss, off to Durmstrang and 'can't handle it'?" she mimed in a baby voice. "Boys can be crazy sometimes." She already felt like she'd known Chelsea all her life, she smiled.

Aurora raised an eyebrow, letting a weak smile pass her lips for a moment. She knew Mordred was trying to cheer her up and she appreciated it. "Yep, Kennedy The Boyfriend Escalante." She saw him looking at her and then he grinned..? Pfft. She scowled and went back to talking to Mordred, refusing to acknowledge him.

Talk about it... "Um... Well... So me and Kennedy have been together nearly two years and I don't think he trusts me because he keeps getting jealous about other guys and I can't deal with it." she started, outlining the situation so that Mordred didn't have to sit through a long, drawn out explanation. "And he moved in with his father recently and he's changed a lot. Like... He's more like the people who's parents go to my Mothers parties, y'know?" Of course he knew - they had very similar mothers. "And pretty much nothing like he was when I knew him and... Well... When I started liking him." There. Short and sweet.

People were throwing food now?! Aurora stood up. "People! Especially first years!" she said loudly. Not shouting, but loud enough to be heard. "Slytherin finished dead last last term so we need to win this year! Don't go losing points before we've even started eating!" She was determined they would win everything this year. And she wasn't about to let a food fight put the odds out of their favour.

Zhenya beamed at her Captain, "Thanks! They're very cute," she said, now wanting to hold them. "I hope now that some of last year's players have graduated we will get great players joining. Of course, I wish they were still here," she said. Yes, those quidditch matches and practices last year were FUN!

"Hmm I think I want to take them all. I can't though! I see a new professor up there... hopefully that evil Centaur has been replaced, then I might go to Divination," she said, and hoped nobody there was a Thereos lover. No, she did not like him. "I hope you get E's across the board!" she told Kimalia.


He was so serious, and Zhenya liked that. It would be great for the team to have more people like him on the team. She smiled at him, and nodded, knowing he would be sure to make the team! Surely..

She agreed that Slytherin would win. She didn't want to see Lafay angry again. Especially at her house, noooope! "We are determined to take out the 3 cups! We will!" She said eagerly.


"Thanks," Zhenya said smiling brightly. She was so happy when she found out.... well, after she realised her mother and father wouldn't neglect her for the babies. Just because she was now 13 didn't mean she wanted to take care of herself at home.

"American versus French? Wow, was it crazy with fans everywhere?" she asked. She just couldn't imagine having a match without the houses. Who would she go for?

Theodore tried to laugh it off. Cat pee was better than saying it was his own pee... "Yeah.. Heh." OH, lord.... the awkwardness was unbearable. He should just stand on the table and shout 'YES, I DID JUST PEE MY PANTS'. But he wouldn't....

Zomg, he smelled beautiful. As per usual.

"Ohhhhh, I am. Did you see MY aim?! Got it right in yo' face...." He was VERY proud, and then the realization of his rudeness kicked in. He coughed shortly and sent her an apologetic look. Again.

"Hello, Amelia. I mean, Mika." He wasn't good with nicknames. Theodore was a fan of FULL names. "I'm Theodore...." She had met him before?!

Because he was popular already? No... they saw each other on the train. Oh yes, brief as it were.

"Thank you! I think we should petition to make those classes optional" she laughed. It would make her life so much easier. Anyway the most important classes were potions, defense, and charms. She sighed it would never happen, she would just have to deal with it and be annoyed.

"If my parents got what they wanted. Hogwarts would strictly be for purebloods, it just annoys me. Blood status doesn't matter anymore" finally someone who understood what Chelsea went through. Not many people could relate...

The blonde smiled when Eliza brought up Ryan being a wuss, so true. "They sure can be. I swear this year I'm not worrying about relationships...they cause too much trouble"

Mika gulped when she heard Aurora yelling out rules and how Slytherin had to win. She was about to cheer when she realized WAH she wasn't a part of this house. Frowny faces were needed here.

Smiling to Theodore she quickly spoke. "Well its nice to meet you again Theodore" she smiled. So he had been peed on by at cat. Poor traumatized boy.

"Well if you ever want to talk after the feast - it sounds like a good idea to me" she nodded. What she wanted friends from all houses - especially this one so she could enact the revenge she planned on a certain student. "Well have fun"

The cookie girl disappeared to pass more cookies out to everyone around her. She was the little Ravenclaw Cookie girl today.

Mordred looked from Aurora to Kennedy then back to her friend. Oh the drama. Mordred’s head began to ache as she explained what happened. So Kennedy was the jealous type. Should he be worried now that he might aggravate the situation?

Mordred looked up and chose his next words carefully. “Did you give him any reason to be jealous?” he asked. Not that he was siding with Kennedy, but he thought it was best to ask Aurora first. She might just realize her mistake—that’s if she’s the one who was at fault.

And of course, those parties their mothers throw from time to time. Mordred was neither fond of those parties nor the people who attends it. “If he did change, then it’s best you ask him why.” He shrugged.

He caught sight of a first year Slytherin throwing a chocolate frog on to a Ravenclaw and a resounding “thwack” was heard. He grinned at what he saw and decided to give the boy more chocolate frogs-- in case he needs more. Yes, start them young. He’ll get back to him after his talk with Aurora.

He turned to his friend once more. “There must be a reason why…” he trailed off as he watched Aurora stand up and addressed the first years.

He gaped at her words then closed his mouth instantly and waited for her to sit down again. “Slytherin placed last, last year?” he couldn’t believe his ears. They were the champions the last time. He looked again at the first year and it was decided. He will give the chocolate frogs when they get to the boy’s dormitory, and maybe teach this kid a thing or two about subtle retaliation. Hah.

"If only." Eliza rolled her eyes, it would never happen, not that she didn't wish it would. She'd came to no longer actuakky attempting Divination, and instead pretending to see things, infact, they turned out to please their Divination teacher way more than when she actually tried. She smiled to herself.

"Blood status is nothing, I mean who even cares anymore, if it was that big an issue then someone'd set up a pure-blood only school, and they'd have about two students!" she sighed when she had a moment and shook her head.

She pulled her blonde hair round her shoulder, she had finally grown it to reach her mid-back, and twisted it round her finger, a habit of hers. "Well, we still have four more years at Hogwarts to worry about that." she smiled. She already liked Chelsea.

He smiled at her, "Well Ellowyn you may be in luck. I might have some more cauldron cakse if you ask nicely." He followed her gaze to the ceiling. "Do you see Pegasus? That is my favorite constellation. I'm looking forward to Care of Magical Creatures and Transfiguration. Heck Pegsus is my favorite creature. I would love to meet one." He perked up at a thought, "Do you follow the Zodiac any? I do sometimes, my star sign is an Aries."

Chelsea sighed, they would just have to deal with the classes. She had gotten through them twice already, right? What was another four more years of acting interested when actually she was annoyed.

"I know, most of the wizarding population now is either muggle-born or half-bloods. So obviously blood purity means absolutely nothing. I mean if it did mean anything why wasn't it preserved" said the blonde. It didn't even have an effect on magical ability, she knew muggle borns who were better at spells than her.

"True, so why not just have fun in the early years, right?" she giggled. She just wanted to get back to being herself, which was happening since Ryan's been gone.

Any REASON?! Why did people keep asking that? She couldn't help it of boys thought she was pretty - it's not like she searched them out. "I've done nothing." she said flatly. She wouldn't have cared much if there had been a reason for Kennedy to be jealous. It was more the fact he didn't seem to trust her that was angering.

Ask him. Right. "No point. He'll just pull the victim card - how his father is forcing it on him and he didn't want this. Even though it's clearly becoming part of him and if he was really that bothered by it he could at least act like himself when his dad isn't around." Bitter. That was the word that came to mind after Aurora had finished talking. She was bitter that Kennedy had, in fact, turned out exactly the same as most of the other boys she'd known. But why did it bother her? It had never bothered her with other boys - a lot of her friends when she was younger were brought up, as she was, in Pureblood elitist families and that was normal. But with Kennedy it was different - she had fallen for half blood, shy, blushing Kennedy. She didn't know where that Kenny had gone...


"Dead last. By a long run. Hufflepuff won. Everything." It had been so infuriating... "Which means we HAVE to win this year... Or it'll be just... Embarrassing." And they couldn't be having that.

Eliza giggled, and suddenly realised how hungry she was. She felt her hands reaching for the chicken, and potatoes, sausages, peas, ribs, and all other things imaginable. The food was amazing. "Man am I hungry!" she exclaimed. Food at home wasn't anything special, it made Hogwarts look like a michelin star restarant.

Dessert was gonna be awesome, so she made sure not to fill her plate too full. She grabbed her cutlery and wolfed down her food like sh hadn't been fed. She filled a goblet with pumpkin juice and raised it in the air proudly "To third-years!"

More delicious cakes, yes! She tried her best puppydog slash persuading face. "Adarian may I pleeaase have another teensy bit of a cauldron cake?" That oughta work, right?

Ah, Pegasus, she stuck out her finger a little to the east of where she was looking. "I like him too. Mines Aquila, which is over there in the south sky." Stars man, how cool. "Oh man do I ever! Aries is the independent an courageous type, I'm a Capricorn." She could probably fill up dinner with talk of stars but that would get really boring really fast.

“If he’s jealous then somehow he doesn’t trust you.” Trust issues. That was always the problem in any relationship. Mordred had a grim look on his face as he remembered how his cousins left him to be bullied and hurt back in Durmstrang. He thought he could trust them because they were blood related. He thought they were his brothers. Mordred let out a sigh and shook his head.

So who is Kennedy trying to impress? He was sure that he didn’t do it for Aurora, because clearly that’s not the Kennedy she fell for. Something was definitely amiss. “Do you want me to talk to Kennedy?” he offered. It will be a bit risky since he just met the Prefect a few minutes ago, and there he was meddling with their problem.



"Ugh." he sighed and let his forehead land on his plate. "That's insane." he managed to reply as he tried to fight the head ache he was having.
