He was a bright first year, that one. "That's right," Nora nodded, all of a sudden not feeling so excited anymore. She was OLD. Like... OWLs-next-term old. THAT was certainly old. Her face, however, turned into a light shade of red when West mentioned something about her being a super expert. "I'm not that good. I still have several more years to become an 'expert'," she wiggled her fingers in the air at that last word, making inverted commas.

"A big Quidditch fan, I suppose?" If anyone wondered what might have given him away... his contagious enthusiasm might be a clue. "I know that I prefer only watching." No flying for her.

Nora's attention, however, has been caught by another sliiiightly familiar fellow Slytherin, who apparently wanted to... make a duck fly. A very adorable one. "Cute duck," the girl found herself speaking. She couldn't help not grinning at whatever he was trying to do.

Zhenya was just about to turn back to look at the doors again when something light touched her arm. She looked down and it was little specks of orange. Looking up, she saw he doppleganger had spat out her pumpkin juice. Lucky she wasn't sitting right in front of her, it was just a spray.

"Eww," she said quietly, and pulled a certain handkerchief out of her pocket to wipe it off. "Don't like pumpkin juice?" she asked the girl.

"I don't like anything about pumpkin." said him short. Ewww.. why did so many people like it? Yuck! The blonde guy paid attention to her. She looked.. weird. Wait, did he say that most of girls in England were weird, right? But she looked.. different.

Wait, what's wrong with you, Gary Rush? Then he decided to be cool. Cool was his middle name, right? Hehehe..

Then he eyed to the girl who was very SIMILAR with Zhenya! He already had met her once, in the bookstore, but he didn't remember her name. Well, all that he remembered that she called him Rushman, huh?

"Did you know her?" asked him, whispering to Zhenya's ear.

Zhenya liked pumpkin pasties, but not so much Pumpkin Juice. She liked roast pumpkin. She just stuck to water mostly. She just smiled and nodded as he said that. He was... a little bit dreamy.

She looked back over at the door, to see if anyone else would be there.



And then... he whispered something in her ear. She let out a completely random squeak as she felt the first tingle in her ear. And then she felt her face fluuuuush red. Oh Gary, why did you do that. She put her hand over her forehead and knew it was red. She looked at her doppleganger and said "I... no not really. I met her once in Diagon Alley and she gave me a gummy snake, it was... weiiiiiiiiiiiiiiird," she said, and looked at him.

Emmanuelle was just about to take a seat at the table assigned to her new house, when who she could only assume was one of the house prefects stood up and made a speech welcoming them all to Slytherin. Well that was nice. Everyone she had met so far had been really nice and it was making her feel better about her transfer from France.

When the welcomes seemed to stop coming (for now anyway), Emmanuelle felt the need to say something. "Thank you for the warm welcomes everyone! I can already feel that this will be a great year!" she said, sincerely. It was true. The air had one of those 'start of a great year' feels about it. "I would raise my glass, but someone seems to have drank my juice…" And que nervous laughter from lame joke. And one of those bam-ba-bam-phish things from the drums.

There was one question she wanted to ask, Why was there so much pumpkin? What was good of it? Nothing yes that was right. Pumpkin juice was disgusting, pumpkin pie was disgusting so WHY DID THEY HAVE IT! She wanted to protest against pumpkin but unfortunately she couldn't even though she had some of the worlds best reasons to ban pumpkin.

Oh no. She had just spat out pumpkin juice on the girl. It was disgusting. Like really disgusting. She despised pumpkin so much. "Oh, sorry about that" she said in a cheerful way. At least or hopefully the girl liked pumpkin juice. "I hate it. It's disgusting." she said.

She took another small glance at the boy and the rest of the table. He was really tall. And weird.

Still holding the plushy duck in the air and playing with it, Daichi was completely unaware of eyes looking at him. His smile was bright as he made "wooosh~!" noises but dropped the duck on the luckily still empty plate after hearing a voice.

Bright red on the cheeks, the Hufflepuf Slytherin turned his head and saw a girl that looked to be around his age grinning. "Thanks! His name is Mr.Duckles" Might as well get the embarrassment pass. "And i'm Daichi" he bowed his head in greeting.

"It's okay," Zhenya said with a smile. She once spat food onto her brother's face after putting a peanut flavoured drink into her mouth. One it was absolutely horrendous, and two, well she was allergic. It was not nice.

She quickly stuffed the handkerchief back into her pocket and made sure the juice was all gone. It was. Good!

Selena had changed into her school robes and all but there were several things that had not changed. For instance, her pygmy puff was still upon her head and she had her smile on her face as well as the shiny head girl badge pinned to the front of her robes. Selena skipped into the Great Hall waving at everyone and listening to everyone there.

Yes, inspirational somethingmajiggy from Kennedy and Kimalia and was it time for Selena to say something now? The elder Slytherin didn't take a seat, nope, she stood and looked at all the pretty Slytherins.

"HAI!" Selena exclaimed, waving at everyone. "That was Kennedy & Kimalia, our male prefect and quidditch captain for those of you who live under a rock," Selena said, smirk on her face as she pat the pygmy puff on her head. Yes, kids, it was on her head. Deal with it. "I am Selena Zabini-Riddle, your head girl and I welcome everyone back to a superepicawesometastical year back at Hogwarts!" she said, smile still stuck on her face. Selena was allowed to be happy after all. It was her last year and shizzles. Nope, she wasn't going to think like that, it wasn't cool thinking about endings unless it was for a book and Selena was very much not a book. "Welcome to Slytheirn newbies, you'll figure out why we're so awesome soon." Or now. Because SELENA was there talking to them all. Future ruler of the universe talking to you? How many people could say that?!

And one more little thing. "Anyone with a cat cannot let that cat eat Kent." There. Selena took a seat and smiled, sticking her hand into her pocket and pulling out a chocolate bar. Food.

Jonathan saw Daichi.... Just the guy he missed. He moved over to his seat which was not that far away from where he was sitting. Getting nearer to him, he noticed Daichi playing with Mr. Duckles. It immediately put a smile on Jonathan's face. Daichi grew taller from the last time he saw him, so that was definitely something new. Jonathan now feels shorter than the usual.

Anyways...

He took a seat beside him and while he was at it, he pat Daichi's head "Mr. Duckels' is hungry?" he asked still smiling at both the stuffed toy and at Daichi. Jonathan knew how attached Daichi was with the toy plus, Mr. Duckels is the cutest stuffed animal ever. "How are you?" he asked while fixing the utensils in front of him.

Jonathan smiled over to the Head Girl when she entered and introduced herself to everyone. Selena is a very perky and fun Slytherin leader, she may be small but she's so good in being in-charge. Well, she was given that badge for a reason. He gave her a slight nod on the head when she passed by and after her introductions to the Slytherin students, Jonathan looked at her "Congratulations on the new badge" smiling.

But then she suddenly added about a cat, Jonathan snorted. Yeah, that should be a precaution. Most students own a cat or a kneazle. Jonathan doesn't own both but he has a pet crup.

Daichi recognized that voice. Even if you've never talked to Selena before and only seen her or heard her talking during a class or around the school you know who the cheerful girl was. Daichi turned his attention towards the girl when she stood up and said the basic speech when greeting the students back at Hogwarts. And not forgetting the first years

Still holding on to his stuffed duck, the boys lips tucked upwards a bit as he saw her pygmy puff on the top of her head. "Haaai Pygmy Girl!" he couldn't help but waved his arms as well. The stuffed animal in his hand flying up and down. "Congrats on the Head badge!"


After Pygmy Girl's little speech Daichi found himself looking behind the Slytherin head girl and towards the Ravenclaw table. His chocolate brown eyes didn't know what he was looking for until they landed on a certain girl. His cheeks flushed red as he realized his was staring at Indy and quickly shook his head to go back to playing with Mr.Duckles.

Well, he wanted to play with him but someone interrupted them! Turning his head to look at the side, Daichi's cheeks were still blushing a little but after finding out that Jonathan was sitting beside him he smiled. Only to have his smile dissapear and a grumble was heard under his breath when the older Snake patted his head. Even if he grew up physically not mentally people still patted his head?!

"Mr.Duckles is not alive silly so he can't be hungry" what? it was the truth right? "But i am! i wish Headmaster Tate would hurry up"

How he was? Hmm let's see. He had almost died a third time during vacation in knockturn alley when he was almost kidnapped by a dark wizard. Almost became food for a hag and Louisa the new prefect from the Ravenclaws had shouted at him making him confused the whole train ride ...AND he had had a not so wonderful conversation with Kurumi and to top that off he thinks he likes Indy but is not going to admit it..

"I'm Great! How are you?!" It was always the same answer but Daichi wasn't the typ that wanted people to worry. He eyed the Slytherin as he was busy fixing the utentsils and poked him on his shoulder. "Where have you been last term huh?" cause he had like vanished like POOF

Jess had a pleasant trip, she put her cloak on during the train ride, but her her heart shaped glasses on her head, pulling her hair back. As soon as she stepped form the Hogwarts express, she was pushed and pulled by a wave of students trying to make their way to the inside of the castle.

She did not resist such wave and was half carried to the great hall. There she managed to make her way to her table, the Slytherin table, where she sat on the only open spot she found and sat.

To her right was the head girl(iBeJenn), super enthusiastic and with a pygmy puff on her head, shouting welcoming things to the firsties and anyone in a mile range.

Jess giggled and patted her shoulder " Hi I'm Jess, I don't believe we've met yet. Love you're hair style " she said, winking and pointing at the pygmy puff " I have no cat, so you don't have to worrie about it eating your pet !" she stretched a finger toward the pygmy, which name was Kent, and scratched it's head carefully, making it close it's little eyes with joy. " they're so adorable!"

Suddenly he just realized that Zhenya looked.. weird. What's wrong? Was she okay? He touched her forehead. Well, he supposed that her body temperature was normal. "Are you sick?" he asked.

The blonde guy then stared at the.. tiny girl who was a Head Girl. EEEEPPP... a Head Girl? So, she should be a seventh years, right? But, She looked sooo.. tiny. Maybe Bianca, his little cousin who was seven years old was quiet taller than her. Really?

"You are the Head Girl?" asked him doubt. "Errr... Congratulations." said him, tried to be cool, though he couldn't believe that the Head Girl was very little! Maybe she was like 1/4 of him in height. 'And Thank you for the welcoming statement." he tried to be gentle and humble, though it was definetely NOT him. But he should make a good impression to her, right?

"It's very nice to meet you, Mr Duckles," Nora grinned at the stuffed animal, but quickly looked up at the one whose name appeared to be Daichi, who was also... bowing his head? "And it's nice to meet you, too. I'm Nora," she said with a smile, following his example and slightly bowing her head as well. She could play along. Hehe.

"So," her eyes wandered back to Mr Duckles, who was now resting on Daichi's empty plate, "was he taking flying lessons?" She silently giggled, but more at the thought that Elijah, her beloved lizard, would love having a Mr Duckles just for himself; probably use it as a bed instead of sleeping either in her trunk, either around her pockets. She didn't take him to the start of term feast though, because it would have been... a bit inappropriate, in the case he felt like exploring the Slytherin table.

Late.

She never would have thought that she would be late - for the start of term feast of all things. But then, here she was running as fast as her exhausted legs could take her as she moved around the people who were transferring from one table to the next.

If only she had the the foresight to remember to change into her robes before they reached Hogwarts instead of deciding to change in one of the bathrooms in the second floor.

When she finally reached the table, the tired blonde plopped down on a space at the middle of the long, wooden bench and sighed in relief as she glanced up at the staff table, at least she wasn't late for the speech.

"No, I never knew her before the other week. It was weird, I didn't know someone actually looked like me. I guess it's good, I can see what I'll look like when I'm older," she said and laughed to herself. Not that it would be a huge difference. She wondered if her sister, Ava-Salome would look like her when she grew a bit older.

He.Touched.Her.HEAD!? She started feeling a bit light-headed. Her eyes went almost cross eyed as she looked up at his hand. His big man hand! Nice...hand... UGH! She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm herself. Again. WHY WAS THIS HAPPENING NOW? "I'm just... I feel a bit... dizzy," she said.

Jonathan starred at Daichi for the whole 10 seconds. Was he looking at someone? Jonathan followed his gaze, well, obviously he has no idea who he is looking at but he seems rather comfortable at it. He returned a smirk over to Daichi, he could let him know if he wants too but Jonathan's not too sure... What is or who is looking at?

Oh, why was there a frown on Daichi's face? Was he upset about something that Jonathan didn't say? Jonathan still treated Daichi as the little brother and no matter how cm this guy will grow, HE WILL NEVER GROW OLD to Jonathan. Yup, that's how it is. He has played with Diachi since his first year and so he likes his age to remain that way. No Daichi is not going to grow up in Jonathan's book.

Jonathan gave a laugh and nodded. "I'm so hungry right now, I can eat 5 plates" in a sort of literal way. Yes, he's so hungry right now! "I missed Mr. Duckels" he said poking the stuffed animal's belly. He is cute, fluffy and really adorable.

Great huh? Well, that was a standard answer. it seems like everyone Jonathan asks about their summer it's the same old answer... Except for Kurumi. But of course, that was different. He knew what happened to her or rather, to her mother. Jonathan was busy fixing when suddenly Daichi poked him. His head turned to him.

Where have you been last term huh?

It's not like he was gone the whole term. "Gone half the term" he replied while he brushed his bangs. "Did you miss me?" he mimicked a baby's voice and bats his eyelashes to Daichi, teasing him. Quite frankly, he does miss Daichi a lot.


Jonathan was still talking to Daichi when he suddenly saw from the corner of his eyes... Cass. Too bad they didn't talk that much on the train. Things were always awkward from the two of them since the very beginning. Jonathan would like to correct that... soooo much. It's not Cass is out to get him. No. She's pretty to him than he deserves it actually.

He waved his hand signalling her to have a seat "Cass" he shouted her name. Everyone was talking nonstop. It was only logical to raise his voice for her to hear. "Hey" he added.

At the sound of her name, Cass looked up and stood on her toes as she peered around the chaos that was the Slytherin house table and grinned when she saw Jonathan waving at her - with an empty spot beside him.

It wasn't that she was ungrateful or anything - but it was a bit surprising, after all they did spend practically 2 years, unconsciously avoiding one another. But hey, if he wanted to be friends again, then she was fine with that.

"Hey." She said with a bright smile as when she finally him "You are once again, a lifesaver." She said with a laugh as she slid onto the seat "I couldn't find a single empty space with all the people walking around the table."

Selena glanced around and saw the person who had congratulated her. She was pretty sure she knew the name somewhere, they were in the same year right? See, that was something right?

"Thank you... PERSON!" Selena said, beaming back at the Slytherin boy. He didn't look like he had a cat or kneazle, Selena liked this guy already.



Selena recognized the next voice. Selena looked around and found the younger Slytherin easily. Why? Because there was a duck flapping around in the air attached to a kid's arm and it just continued to flail. It was a bit hard to ignore a flailing duck.

"HAI DUCK BOOOOY!" Selena called back, smirk on her face as she waved right back to the younger kid. "Thank you! Cute duck!"

Not nearly half as adorable as her pygmy puff... but...



Selena beamed back at the girl and wiggled her fingers as a hello. "Hulllloooo Jess!" she chirped happily, smile still on her face from the opening statement she had just made. Selena liked this girl, she seemed nice. Selena liked nice people. "Good, because nothing's allowed to eat the king of all pygmy puffs," she replied, smirk on her face as she pet the pygmy puff on her head.

Selena nodded in agreement. "Pygmy puffs are cool." Duuuuh.

The four feet and six inches tall Slytherin, took a large bite of her chocolate bar in her left hand; the right hand was busy petting the pygmy puff.



Selena blinked at the blondie who DOUBTED her epicalness. She simply continued to pet her pygmy puff, giving him a violet-eyed stare. Did the guy not see the SHINY green badge on her robes? The one that SYMBOLIZED her awesometasticalness?

"I'm pretty sureeee I'm the Head Girl," Selena said slowly, still staring at the kid, smile stuck on her face. It easily turned genuine though because of everything ELSE.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed, beaming at this kid. He had said congratulations after all.

Once again, he managed to catch Cass' attention even with all the talking and the running and the finding of seats... the chaos. For a sudden moment, he realized that he has never talked to Cass this much even though from back then, but really that was in the past. Jonathan wanted to see Fee too and what better way to have Fee into their area as well, right? He knows that the two are close. Lately, he has never seen the perky Slytherin blonde anywhere. Where was she anyway?

"Who are you with?" he couldn't help but ask. Hey, he wanted to know what happened to Fee too. Maybe Cass knew something. Plus, someone might have already saved her----

Okay, maybe not. Jonathan grinned when Cass thanked him. Calling him a 'lifesaver'. That was a bit too much. "Seems full, so i saved a seat for someone who needs one" Jonathan has seen a few new faces but it wasn't that much unlike 2 terms ago. Now, that term was a lot to handle. They had a lot of fresh new faces it even made them the house with the most negative scores. In the end, it was all sorted out though.

"Headmaster still not here yet so the food still not served" he said looking at the plate. He was getting hungrier now, he could eat the plate. FOOOOOD!!!!!!

Jonathan laughed when Selena called him 'person'. Not that he minds, it was just hilarious though. Selena was always like that even from before. She's very comedic even though she doesn't notice it... or wait, does she?

He decided to introduce himself while he is at it "I'm Jonathan but i mean, person is fine too" he teased back. Selena and him are in the same year, right? Well, obviously since she is Head Girl.

Good Merlin! The amount of people here is almost as much as the fans when O-Fuse had our first showcase!

After the mind reading talking hat (Sorting Hat) placed him into Slytherin, Xing becomes more nervous wondering how Slytherins are like. Wait! Didn't Daichi said he is in Slytherin? Thank goodness... Finally, someone he knows. Come to think of it, his dad did mention that he used to be in Slytherin too. So, is the placing relies on your blood line and connections? He has no idea...

As he reaches the table with people in green ties and scarves, Xing walks around to find an empty spot. Nervously, he sits dow and lowers his head, staring at the empty plate. One, he hopes there are no or at least not too many fangirls here. Two, he is STARVING.

Gazing at the roof of the great hall, she compaired the castle to her old school. They were pretty much the same size although her old school in Canada was a whole lot more modern. She walked to her table gazing at the cealing, and nearly bumped into someone. "Watch where your going!" she said to the person, jokingly.

Now confident in her friends making abilities, Char better start chatting. Even if someone diddn't chat with her that would be fine because she diddn't mind sitting alone, she was shy. But right now, talking would be much better of an idea cause she was a transfur student. Taking a sip from the water glass infront of her, and instantly coughed **cough cough** "What's in this water, Pumpkin Flavouring!"

"No one at the moment." Cass answered glumly as she glanced towards the doors in hopes that maybe her best friends would waltz in. She hadn't seen Fee since the glitter princess returned from her temporary stay at Beauxbatons, and well, Freya has been absent for months now - she doesn't even see the girl in the dorms anymore! "What about you?"

The blonde then nodded at the gesture gratefully and smiled "That was a show of excellent foresight Mr. Kim." She said jokingly "But, seriously though. Thanks." It would seriously suck if she had to stand around the table looking for a seat. "We seem to have a lot of new students this term..." She said pensively, keeping her eyes trained on the sorting hat who was placing a lot of students into Slytherin. So much for being such an elite house, not that she minded of course.

At his exclamation, the girl laughed as she rolled her eyes at him "I can't believe you're still hungry even after all that food we had to finish in the train!" Seriously, she was feeling stuffed. But then again, there was always room for food when the Hogwarts house elves make it.

"That's great!" Kimalia exclaimed, she had her own practice experience with her brother and could feel the same excitement. "Just keep an eye out on the notice board for the tryout times and stuff." And then, she could like try impressing her and stuff. "So what's your name?" Though Kimalia is great at memorizing names on sign-up sheets, it didn't hurt knowing some potential tryoutees beforehand.

Smirking, "And you speak like a true Prefect.." before sitting herself down now that Selena had appeared finally to take over. Returning the smiles she received from the others as well.. And then Kimalia looked around for her best red-headed friend. Hmm.. Well, Kennedy was her boyfriend so maybe he knew. "You seen Aurora yet?" She asked, sipping her water goblet again.


Ooh, she now had new siblings! "Oh wow, major congrats to you and your mom." Kimalia replied. She loved taking care of babies.

"Good." She saw potential in Zhenya, and was glad to see her consider trying out again. They did want to win the Cup again after all.. It was a good thing she did some planning during the summer.

And she should've seen the next question coming. The dreaded O.W.L's.."Well," It was tempting to just skip it so she could continue pursing a Quidditch career, but she wanted to know her other options before finally settling though. "I'm looking forward to it being over, but I should be ready hopefully.." Before adding, "D'you pick out an elective already?" If she could recall, Zhenya should be in her third year now so she could decide to take Creatures class, Ancient Runes, Divination, etc. along with the other basics now.
