Minerva smiled glad she got to see her friend, "Yeah I know what you mean. Being sick and stuck up in the dorm room was driving me crazy. You take care Damon and if you need anything you know where to find me." she gave her friend one last smile and headed out of the common room and towards the library.

So he was her first? To be honest she was the first to ever kiss him. Oakey couldn't understand girls, Laura will certainly be the cause if he never did in the end.

Rubbing his check the redness on his face faded and he felt a tiny tingle on the side of it when she called him special? SHE KNOWS WHY I'M UNLUCKY! WHO TOLD HER? WAS IT ELLA, OR ALYSSA! WHO KNOWS WHAT THE GIRLS TALK ABOUT IN THAT DORM OF THEIRS! He'll have to keep Laura close now to make sure she doesn't tell anyone else.

Now to kick Operation: Keep Laura Close into action. Calmed down he gave Laura a smile. Well just make sure I'm the first and last, kay? He would hang out with Laura to learn who told her his secret.

He began mentally preparing himself for rejection, not willing to let his disappointment show on his face. He cast his gaze downwards to make it easier on her. She shouldn't have to look me in the eye to tell me no.

Chances were that he'd felt her answer was going to end up being one completely different, and how could she blame him when she took forever to answer, right? Technically, it had been his fault, since he'd been the one to render her speechless, but still.

And Keefer had been expecting that other answer. There was no doubt about it. The way he reacted suggested so. Her smile only widened when he spoke again. Yes, Keefer, really.

This Friday, after lessons. Sounded good. More than good, actually, except all she'll be thinking about is Friday. How was she going to focus the rest of the days? Friday included. Surely, Keefer will have it worse than her. Worse because she failed to say a few words that may ease his mind a lot. Or his heart.

"Okay, I will," she'll meet him here, no problems there.

But... where was he going?

Her eyes followed him, and her blush intensified when he explained. He told his mother about her? That was cute! And... actually, why did he do that? Kate suddenly felt the need to bite her lip, and she wasn't one to do so too often. She was certain his mother could wait, right? And he could keep Kate company for a while longer... but that's not what she suggested, "Sure, it's fine, go do that." Then maybe she could go and run towards Eve and tell her this. Maybe.

Laura looked at Oakey and smiled, he seriously was Prince Charming and she didn't care what Sophie said, she was sure that Oakey was the most handsome boy in the world and she couldn't wait to kiss him again one day if Oakey let her.

Laura smiled at Oakey, "Your very special you know." Laura didn't care what people thought of him to her, he was always going to be the special to her and even if he never talked to her again she wouldn't care because she had kissed him once.

Laura almosted fainted when Oakey said that he had to be her first and last, does that mean the only person she could kiss now was Oakey and her parents, well she could live with that. "Okay I'll make sure you are my first and last." Laura smiled she was glad Oakey was calming down.

Carigan emerged from her dorm room and walked with purpose to the other end of the common room to the door that would take her out of the common room.

Nate walked in to the common room, and sat down on the couch. He pulled out a quill, and a notebook. It was different from his normal one because this one had song lyrics in it. He sat down and thought about what type of genre of music he should write this time.

If there was one place Renesmee enjoyed to be in winter, it had to be the cozy Hufflepuff common room. It was the perfect place for her to grab a book and sit reading near the fire getting all warmed up by the heat. It was lovely and way better then spending this cold winter outside, though she had to admit if it wasn't cold she'd be out within a second. It was for this reason that she couldn't wait for the summer that would be arriving soon, but for now it was still fairly cold and that meant shnuggle time in the common room.

With Puffles on her shoulder and with a small blankey in her left hand and a book in her right,the red head walked down from her dormitory and found a good looking sofa right next to the fire. She sat down, with her feet curled up on the sofa, then took the blanket and spread it all over herself. Mean while her pygmy puff crawled from her shoulder and went under the blanket, trying to keep warm too.

Opening her book, Ness began to read for a few moments but then she stopped, getting disturbed by Puffles. He seemed to be ...tickling her feet and toes.

At once the fourth year began giggling histerically. Her giggles were sort of loud and she couldn't exactly stop, not untill Puffles stoped playing with her feet, but he wasn't doing that any time soon. The indigo fluff ball was enjoying himself and he found this rather amusing.

Silly, little pygmy puff.

Annabelle walked into the common room and found a nice comfy couch to send her letter to her mother. She got out her quill and paper and figured out how to start it.

Dear Mom,
Things at Hogwarts are going great! I am just chilling out, starting my homework as usual. You know how much of a hard worker i am. But i am starting to get nervous for my OWL'S. I just do not know how i am going to handle the stress. But in my lessons, i learned to transfigure a cloth into a nice hat. I am actually wearing a fox hat right now that i made. I will show you when i get home for the summer. I recently had muggle studies and i learned about fairy tales and how they have been sugar coated for years. In History of Magic, i learned about Atlantis and if it a real city or not. That just sums up what i have been learning. Well i gotta go now and start some homework and not have it piled up. She looked at the letter and thought it looked good! Then she decided she wanted to send the letter tomorrow since she was already comfy on the couch. She was not about to move. She got her backpack and started to work on her Muggle Studies homework.

Out of the Dorm and into the Common Room, Oakey stretched his arms after a good nap. It had been an easy going week for the Hufflepuff, but because of this he was overly superstitious that his bad luck as just building up on him. To be safe he never removed the Scarab charm around his neck, He also constantly went to the lost and found to see if his Rabbit's Foot would turn up.

He neared the couch by the fire and saw his little buddy Nate writing down in a notebook of sorts. Feeling especially social after his nap Oakey placed a hand on Nate's Shoulder to startle the second year. You workin on Homework Nate? he said hopefully surprising him.

Nate felt a hand touch his shoulders, and he looked up to see it was Oakey. "Oh hey Oakey. No, this is my song notebook. I don't know what to write. Grrr." He said in a calm voice. "Oh and if you were trying to scare me it worked. It's just that I don't show when I'm scared, unless when I see a snake. That's probably why I hate Slytherin so much." He told Oakey.

Oakey could sympathize with Nate on hating a certian house. He was never to fond of Ravenclaws, but did that mean he hated them. No, most were probably crazy, insane or paranoid, but he wasn't going to hate the entire house.

Don't hate the house because their mascot is a snake, hate them for another reason. Right, Oakey's best friend was a Slytherin, would his little buddies opinion of Oakey change if he told him that. Or just hate snakes, I'm sure there are plenty Slytherins who are terrified of snakes just as much as you.

Evelyn entered the Common room, still a little worried about her NEWT's. She really wasn't as serious about it as she ought to be even though she'd been getting some studying done recently.

Anyway, the Prefect decided to spend some time in the Common room before she headed up to bed. She wasn't going to get any reading done now anyway..since the common room was noisy as usual. That's the reason why she did most of her studying in the grounds. Heh.

She plonked down on a seat next to the fireplace and leaned her head against the back of her seat. Yes, she was just a little tired. But, before she could just close her eyes and relax, a sudden fit of giggles closeby made her almost jump off her seat. Seriously? When she was about to relax?

Evelyn eyed the girl who seemed to be giggling hystertically. "Umm..are you okay?" The Prefect asked, slightly concerned.

Why wouldn't this pygmy puff just stop? Ness bit her lip hoping would stop the giggles, but even that didn't help. People would here her laughing soon, and they'd probably all begin to stare, which Ness hated when that happened.

Oh..Merlin..someone was already commenting.

Feeling a little embarrassed now, Ness looked up, still trying to contain her giggles. There was a older looking girl sitting near by, which seeemd to have been the one to talk. The fourth year gave a small nod not even being capable of talking she then, gently nudged her pygmy puff lightly with her left foot, hoping he would get the message to stop. It seemed like he did...because miraculously the tickling sensation stopped.

Thank goodness, Ness could actually respond to this girl properly without looking like a weirdo. "I'm..fine, I erm..." she didn't know what to say, and she wasn't going to say the real cause for her giggles that would be weird. "..erm..just something funny I read." she said pointing to her book, but then stopping as soon as she felt Puffles begin with the tickling again. This time, Ness laughed a little louder then before.

Now surely the staring would begin.

"Ehhh. Some snakes are ok. But others I would not trust with my life. Some I'd rather be friends with then others..........as long as the don't trick me. That's the one thing I hate, trickery. Though thievery is worse. Well yeh. I don't know what to write!!!!" Nate replied to Oakey.

Huh, Nate hated trickery? That was half of what sneaking up on people and scaring them half to death was. So was Nate being hypocritical or doe he hate himself too.

Ah well, might as well capitalize on this moment. Well Oakey started, If you hate tricking people so much, perhaps you could settle down some on sneaking up on me...eh?


That's right little buddy, no more making Oakey jump. Anyways, Could I see what it is you're writing?

HUH? Evelyn stared as the girl continued to giggle. Sse? This was the reason why she never spent much time in the Common Room. It was always noisy and...people giggled and didn't let her relax. Humph.

And..the girl SAID she was fine BUT she continued with the giggling. Oh, gosh. Couldn't she like do it somewhere else? Evelyn ran a hand through her hair..and the girl said it was something she read that made her giggle but no. It didn't look like that at all.

"Are you sure?" Evelyn asked, the annoyance on her face once again turning to concern. Because, the girl started to laugh even louder. Heh. It was starting to get a little scary.

What to do...what to do? Ness tried to think whilst still giggling. Maybe she should just tell this girl what was really going on. Yes it may have been embarrasing for her, but this whole thing was getting worse and maybe if she didn't say anything it would be more embarrasing and people may even think she was more weird.

The red head hesitiated. "Um..um.." Then she stopped to giggle again at the tickling going on. This was really beginning to bother her. Ness had, had enough and her pygmy puff needed to learn to stop. Teh young girl, lifted up her blanket to expose Puffles, she then picked him up and lay him on the floor. Now that the tickling was gone, she was able to talk again. "Stop it." she said looking down at her pygmy puff now on the floor.

Then she turned back to the older girl. "Now I am." she said with a small smile, glad the tickling had stopped, the red head then went back to reading her book.

Puffles was highly not pleased with this whole thing. How dare he's human stop him from having fun? Silly thing she was, he liked her feet, did she have a problem with that? Clearly she did and the indigo ball of fluff didn't get why. Gosh! Humans were annoying. He'd get her back for this..in fact he'd even get her back now.

The pygmy puff looked up at the girl beside Ness. He knew how much he's human hated being humiliated by him, and he knew how much she hated it when he annoyed people. So here was he's target and he's mission he could do this even though he was a little sorry for having to involve this girl too.

When, Nessie wasn't watching the ball of fluff happily bounced near where the girl was, he then climbed up on her lap, without even getting permission from the girl. He then leaned in near her fingers and nibbled on it softly, not that it would hurt, but so that it would irritate this girl like crazy.

Now..the pygmy puff was happy with he's revenge.

Awww. Nte couldn't scare Oakey anymore. Oh well. "Ok....I won't scare you, but no garuntees for anybody else."

Then Oakey asked to see what he writing. "Well I'm not writing anything so far. But here's one of my previous ones. It's a rap by the way." After he replied to Oakey he flipped a few pages to one of his raps. "It's not very good though."

Alyssa sat down on the floor next to the table near the fireplace and pulled out a parchment from her bag. Professor Magnus had assigned them the task of making a Nautilus type hat out of the cloth that they had been given.

Alyssa decided that first she had to decide what kind of hat she wanted to transfigure the cloth into. She thought of all the possible nautical caps that she had seen before, like a regular Captain's sailing hat, or Captain Hook's Hat, even a Pirate's hat. Wait a Pirate's hat!!

Alyssa remembered watching the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean and loved the character Captain Jack Sparrow. She tried to recall what the hat looked like and once she thought that she had an image of it in her head, she picked up her quill and started drawing it out.

She first drew the outline of the hat, erasing the details when it didn't look right to her. She first drew in the front flap on the left hand side. She drew a straight line for the bottom of the hat, starting from the middle of her parchment and then angling upwards towards the left. Then she drew a curving line up and over to end at the back end of the straight line she had drawn first. She had the first flap drawn, now for the second.

Alyssa started from the middle, and connecting it with the first line, she drew a straight line angling upwards towards the right. Then she drew another line curving it up and over to join that line at the back. She was done drawing the second flap.

Now for the back flap. Alyssa drew a curved line across joining both left and right flaps at the back. Then she drew a little dome right in the middle of the hat to make it look like it was where the head would fit into.

Now that she was done drawing the tricornered hat the way she wanted it to look like. She made 2 Xs on the sides of the front two flaps, to make it seem like they were strings that were sewn onto the flaps to hold them up. Then using her brown colored ink, she painted the hat brown. And just for the fun of it she added a red feather in the hat.

Alyssa knew that making this hat was going to be hard but she knew that if she concentrated hard enough, that nothing was impossible. She sat back and studied the drawing of the hat

Justin came into the commonroom and saw quite a few of his fellow Puffs. He smiled and found a seat and just watched and listened to everyone in the room. It had been a long time since he had felt like hanging out. He hoped someone would start up a conversation... Especially Allyssa... He hadn't had the chance to talk with her since term started... He was always in his own little world and she of course was leading their House in points along with Ella and Minerva...

Ella walked down from the girls dormitory carrying her quill and parchment. She had wanted to write Logan a letter filling him in on what had been going on around Hogwarts lately but she couldn't figure out exactly where to start. The second year figured maybe a change of location would help...and some sweets. So of course she had gummy worms with her too!

Looking around for a place to sit, the second year spotted a familiar face in one of the chairs. And he was all alone? She just wouldn't have that. So Ella took her things and went to take a seat by Justin.

"Heyyyyy stranger." She said as she plopped down in the chair next to his. "What's new?"

Justin smiled as Ella walked over and sat next to him. She always was a nice girl. " Hey, Ella... Im doing much better..Now that my head is clear... " he chuckled. " I'm sure you know that I"m dating Ariana.... Its been about four months now actually... She makes me really happy... To be honest I can't stop thinkin about her... But we're definately taking it slow... I don't want to ruin this relationship the way I've messed up the others by moving too quickly.. Ya know?..... So, how about you?.... Anything new goin on? "

Ella raised an eyebrow. Now that his head was clear? So his head had been until very recently...unclear? That didn't sound good. "Things are okay though...now I mean?" She knew what it was like to be confused and having too much on the mind. It wasn't fun at alllll.

Smile. Yes Ella had heard that Justin was dating Ariana...and seen them around Hogwarts together too. "Mhmm. I knew that...and four months already? Wow." Four months was like...forever. But that meant that they really liked each other, yeah? You had to really like like someone to stick around them for that long. "I'm glad you guys are happy...and taking it slow is good." Though Ella didn't really know what she was talking about. The only time she had been more than friends with a boy he made her like like him A LOT and then kissed another girl because he didn't want to hurt her feelings...so she didn't really get the whole relationship thing.

How was Ella? Hmm... "I'm doing pretty well. I made the quidditch team so that's exciting. And I've been studying a lot. Classes are quite difficult this term!" Much more difficult than she had expected. "And I've been hanging out with Harvey quite a bit..." Like everyday actually. Wow. They really did hang out a lot. But friends did that, yeah? So it wasn't that weird...

Justin smiled and then looked down at his hands for a oment... then he looked back up and said, " Yeah... Things are finally starting to get back to normal for me.... Yeah I saw the match you guys had with Slytherin... That was a good match.. You guys really gave thenm a run for their money..." he chuckled... " And Min got banged up a bit.... " he said as he remembered watching her fall from her broom.
" Yeah, classes have been a bit much for me this term... I think the only way I'll get through it is if I study like a madman for exams... But I'm sure Minnie will help me with that.... And maybe you and I could study sometime?" he asked..... " Harvey's a great guy.. and to be honest I think he's got a crush on you... but don't tell him I said anything..." he smiled.
