As you enter you notice how immaculate the classroom is. Every row is in perfect line and there is no dust to be found on the desk. Please stand behind a desk when you enter, DO NOT sit until the professor tells you to do so otherwise you'll have to go outside and do it again.
At the back of the classroom is an area that is sectioned off with a maroon curtain. Please do not go back there until the professor tells you to do so.
Mrs. Bellaire is standing by the front waiting to welcome you all in.
"We'll be looking at two spells, they are Plic Vestimenta, which is the spell to fold and Liberum Arbitrium which is a motor spell. Third years will be working with the folding spells and the older students will be working with the motor spells."
She moved to the basket and pulled out a shirt. "Pay attention." She gave the shirt a gentle tap on the shirt and said Plic Vestimenta" The shirt quickly folded itself. She smiled at the neatly folded shirt. "See? Very simple." She moved across the room to the brooms. "Now this spell, you need to say the name of the object you are charming. Like this:Liberum Arbitrium Broom. Swish and clockwise twirl of the wand." She proceeded to do as she instructed and the broom sprung into action, sweeping on it's on free will."You can use this on any cleaning instrument."
She stepped aside. "Now everyone take turns practicing. Older students there are enough brooms for everyone to practice on and enough clothing pieces for the younger ones."
BLINK. BLINK. BLINK.
They're going to do what with charm?
o_____O
But if that spell could make his clothes fold itself why he need his nanny then? But then again he couldn't do magic outside magic now could he? But that spell might had a good use for him in the future. Okay onto the spell then.
Plic Vestimenta. Plic Vestimenta. Plic Vestimenta. Plic Vestimenta. He repeated the incantation in his head over and over again. Messer took out his wand and gave the shirt a gentle tap "Plic Vestimenta!" Nothing.
"Plic Vestimenta!" Still nothing. He looked around and saw some of the younger students already managed to fold their shirt. Come on you shirt!
Focus Messer! The young badger tried the folding spell once again "Plic Vestimenta!" he said the incantation clearly and gave a gentle tap on the shirt. Messer grinned widely to his now folded shirt. Yay! He did it!
Gold star, please?

To be honest Sophia was quite surprised at how well the students were doing, pleasantly surprised. In fact she was so impressed with them that she would allow them to have a bit of fun. Besides good behaviour was always rewarded, that was how she raised her children. Bad behaviour of course warranted punishment.
She walked among the students smiling at those who deserved it and fixing wrists here and there.
"Remember to pronounce the incantations clearly and use the proper wand movements..steady wrists."
She watched them a bit longer before holding up her hand to stop them.
"Okay you're all doing very well,so we'll have a bit of fun. I'd like you all to split into house groups. Stars and house points will be the reward for the house who can clean this room the fastest." She smiled at them. "The rules are as follows. You'll need to select two persons from each house, one from the first to third year group and one from the older group." She waved her wand again and unfolded all the clothes that had been folded by the students. The dust was once again all over the floor area. "Younger student should focus on folding four pieces of clothing from the basket and the older student needs to enchant two broom to sweep the dust to the corner of the room then use the evanesco spell to vanish the dirt. You will be timed. I'll leave you to get your teams together."
OOC: So I think I may need to clarify a little bit
The winner will depend on how realistic the posts are, no more than six posts per team.

Anyone in Ravenclaw wanna team up with me she smiled.I'm willing to help as much as a can she frowned.

Oh, Slytheriiiiiiins! Come out, come out! They had to win this, after all.
Since Nora didn't really understand what exactly they had to do, choosing two students from each House and all, she decided to walk over where the most Slytherins stood to wait and see what the others were saying. All she understood was that she was in the group that had to make a couple of brooms sweep the dust to a corner and then use Evanesco to make it disappear. It sounded fairly simple.

YEAH.
His horrible attempt at this spell appeared to have been missed by professor Bellaire. He seriously feared he wouldn't get that gold star after that one. And now what was this?!
Noooo, he wouldn't volunteer for this one.
Theodore kept his head lowered.

Reason: woah, misread that completely XD
A house wise competition activity! This was sure to be fun! Ira grinned as she listened to the professor's instructions.
What? Only two students from each house? NOT FAIR! Ira frowned. What about the others? Huh?
Oh yes! The others could certainly cheer and egg on their house right? RIGHT Professor Bellaire? Professor Bellaire surely wouldn't mind them cheering loudly right? Ira hoped so.. but was't too sure.
Anyways, she stood on her tip toes to scan the room, and see who all were there. "COME ON LIONS!!" she half yelled, excited. Yes! They lions HAD to win this!
Hydra picked up a piece of cloth and took it back to her work station. She then took out her wand from her robes pocket and practised the wand movement. 'Swish and clockwise twirl...Swish and clockwise twirl...Swish and clockwise twirl' she muttered as she waved her wand 'Swish and clockwise twirl...Swish and clockwise twirl...Swish and clockwise twirl...' Hydra then placed her wand on the table and started muttering the incantation. 'Lib-erum Arb-itri-um... Lee-bah-rum Arh-bit-ree-um...Lee-bah-rum Arh-bit-ree-um...' Hydra muttered this for a while before she was sure that she would know how to use the charm. She then picked up her wand and pointed towards the cloth and said- 'Liberum Arbitrium broom... oops' Hydra's mind must have still been on Professors example. She tried again 'Liberum Arbitrium cloth' and then swished her wand and did a clockwise twirl. 'Damn' she cleared her mind then tried again 'Liberum Arbitrium cloth' and did the same wand movement. It took about 5 more tries for her to get it right. 'Yes! Finally' she mutter to herself. Hydra tried again a few more times to make sure that she had it right. But was only successful 3 more time. She kept on practising until she was sure that she had it right then walked over to join the other Hufflepuff's to get sorted. 'Hello!' She said with a cheery voice as she reached the other Hufflepuff's
Sighing as his broom still was spinning in circles, he looked up as the professor spoke saying they were going to get into house teams. Well it was obvious he wasn't having any luck with his broom, probably wouldn't be the best one to be chosen to do the charm if he needed to use the broom with his wand. "Finite!" he said pointing his wand at it. What was it, was he supposed to go counterclockwise now? Forgetting that's exactly what he had done instead of going clockwise.
Picking up the broom he headed over to a few of the slytherins, shaking his head, he definitely need to work on this spell.
Penny had been making notes in her notebook and watching as several people tried to make use of the new charms. She had read about these charms but was still a little apprehensive to put them into practice. The Professor then announced that they could compete with the other houses.
What?!
Penny's grey eyes swept the other Ravenclaw's present. They were supposed to pick two students from each house and she was in the second catagory. She couldn't help but feel there might be a sixth or seventh year that could do WAY better then she ever could.
Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - ❄ Lunar Library Lurker ❄ - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror
Gideon had tried the spell a few more times, getting better in controlling the spell and the broom with each try. Hearing Professor Bellaire speak once more, the sixth year turned back towards the woman, listening to her next instructions and the idea for the group activity. They needed to pick two members of the Gryffindors to do the activity so Gideon looked around the room to catch sight of housemates but there were a lot of students around so he opted for another approach.
"All Gryffindors gather around here please," he instructed figuring it was best if they were all together anyway. He glanced in the direction he had last spotted Kurumi and hoped she would go along with his plan."Then anyone willing to volunteer for their groups respective step beside me or Kurumi and raise yer hands so we can figure out who to pick."
Okay my puffs :) and a question for the Professor ;)
Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something...
Minerva went to find the rest of the Hufflepuffs. She wanted to make sure she had the directions clear. So she put her hand up, "Now we have to pick people from the house to do the task or do all of us do at least part of the task?" Once the question was answered she went to the group. "So who is doing what?" she smiled "I think I have the folding down pretty good so put me in for that." she was ready to have some fun.
Kennedy was still entertained with the broom sweeping on its own. You know, this spell would come in handy. Like a LOT. He turned his head to the professor as she spoke. Oh. Competition.
He liked that.
The prefect turned to the little huddle of snakes and approached them. "Okay, " he said, rolling the sleeves of his shirt up to his elbows. "Who wants to volunteer?" he asked. He would be more than happy to do the older student part since he felt pretty comfortable with it, but he was going to let the snakes take a vote first.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Competition? They were going to have a house competition? Daichi was sooo in! Even if his broom sweeping spell needed some perfections he wanted to compete as well.
But he was a bit confused. Was he supposed to make a group himself or not? Scratching the back of his neck , the look on Daichi's face was pure puzzlement. Until he heard Kennedy. Smiling brightly he quickly ran to the Prefect and poked his shoulder. "Can i?" he asked while pushing his glasses up his nose.

Sarah went and joined the Gryffindors. Tentatively she raised her hand.

As the Slytherins huddled together, Theodore couldn't really contain himself. THE GOLD STAR WAS CALLING HIS NAME.
"I WILL." He almost shouted at his snakes, "If y'all want, of course." Just cos they seemed to be going nowhere with this volunteer thing. He wasn't GOING to speak up, but the gold star, tho.

Rushing to clean somewhere? Like, C-L-E-A-N it? Like the way the maids or house elves did? Like a normal people?
No thank you. João Teixeira-Neves would rather pass.
He would also like to pass from being assigned by a prefect as if he was an idiot and couldn't find a partner on his own. Geez.
Thus, merely standing where he had been, he kept the prefect in eye-range and waited for the class to end without his ever touching a cleaning object again.
So. Teamwork. Right. She knew how to do this. Sort of.
Louisa flinched just slightly when she heard Gideon and Kennedy being all Prefect-y and taking responsibility of organizing the whole team thing. Cool. Her eyes instinctively searched for Vashti... but no. Right. It was her. Not even Eino was around to do this whole thing for her. Grrr.
Throat clear. Twice.
"Okay, so.. errr.. let's do this Eagles. You guys heard the woman, partner up. Whoever doesn't find a partner or is too shy to do it, you can approach me and I'll try to help..." because that was what Prefects were for, right? Maybe not. "...also I need a younger partner."
Louisa stayed still in her place in anticipation. "Guys? You're paying attention to me? Hello?" She murmured looking at the blue people.

Oichi was raather glad her prefects chose to take charge cause she was not certain if she could get enough people for a team on her own. And thie task seemed cool so she was happy she would get to do it. She went up to her prefect and said, "Oichi Paulidine, 2nd year, reporting for duty sir", Oichi said chuckling a little as she got in line with her fellow Gryffindors and raised her hand.

Finally it seemed like one of her own house was organizing the Ravenclaws. Penny wandered over to the girl and vaguely recognized her from a few run-ins last year. Her grey eyes landed on the Prefect badge and her mind clicked.
Louisa something or other. Right.
Penny listened as the Prefect tried to wrangle the Ravenclaws. Rubbing the back of her neck she gave a wry smile. "Umm...I think the object was to only pick two people from each house. Just two." She held up two fingers to emphasize her point.
Her southern accent was thick as always but she hoped that her helpful tone had come across. The last thing she needed was their Prefect thinking she was trying to get smart.
So wait, they were going to compete? There was no way that would work out well. He had only managed to get one pair of pants to fold themselves, but it too way to many tries to to it. Kaiden reluctantly, very, very reluctantly joined the rest of the hufflepuffs. "So, whos going to do this thing?" he asked, hoping it wouldn't be him.

Kennedy turned when he was poked. Why was he being poked?
Oh! Wait, it was Daichi! "Hey," Kennedy grinned. The boy had grown. The prefect looked around to see if there were more volunteers and since there appeared to be none he gave the younger snake a nod. "Sure! You know how to do the broom charm, right?" He just wanted to make sure. A big part of him wanted to win REAL BAD, but he bet all the Slytherins wanted to win this.
Still, he would guide Daichi to excel in this.

Kennedy pressed to his lips together to refrain from chuckling. The firstie seemed enthusiastic to volunteer and hopefully that enthusiasm will help them win. "Of course we want you too, come on," Kennedy said, encouraging the kid to step forward.

From his peripheral vision Kennedy made out a Slytherin standing. Just standing. He didn't much care that he wasn't willing to volunteer, but it bothered him that he was not at least trying to encourage the younger kids. Didn't he want to win? 'Cause Kennedy sure wanted to win.
Whatever, it wasn't like he could make his do anything. Plus, they had volunteers.

Oh. Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh.
Louisa almost hugged and kissed the girl on the cheek. Laughing, quite loudly too, she moved closer to the girl and, "Oh, thank you." She should ask about her name. Later when this whole cleaning thing was over. Grrr. More reason to need Eino.
Turning around to face the non-existent audience, she tried this again. "As our friend, here, clarified 'claws. We need two volunteers." Louisa could be the older one of course but... she didn't really like brooms that much. "Anyone?" She glanced sideways at this helpful girl. More help? Please?

Maybe João should at least offer to have the last kid or something. Because he wasn't sure if the professor would deduce points upon seeing him not doing anything. This, getting up, he made his way to the green group.
"I can be partners with someone as well." That didn't sound too enthusiastic, did it?
Louisa almost hugged and kissed the girl on the cheek. Laughing, quite loudly too, she moved closer to the girl and, "Oh, thank you." She should ask about her name. Later when this whole cleaning thing was over. Grrr. More reason to need Eino.

Penny shrugged and smiled as the Prefect thanked her. Anything to help her house win. She had to admit that the girl looked a little uncomfortable with speaking in public or speaking at all maybe? Well she was doing a good job so far.
Looking around she wondered why none of their other housemates was speaking up. Where was their house pride? They did want to win this didn't they? "It's Louisa right? Ummm....I think one of the second years volunteered (gothicravenclaw) and she would qualify for the younger spot." She pointed out the small blond. "I would take the older spot but I've never done this charm before." And your older then me....
Of course if no one else volunteered she would give it her best. She just didn't relish being the one who made her house loose. She shoved her hands in her pockets, a nervous habit. Maybe she could do it?
Well.....
Penny decided to wait and see what Louisa would do.
Kennedy turned when he was poked. Why was he being poked?

Addie watched as their male prefect started directing all Slytherins. "Umm I guess we already have volunteers," Addie said not that she minded that much. "I'll be your cheerleader," she suggested before exclaiming. "Go Slytherin!!!" Addie hoped that they would be awesome and able to win.
