No. No. She won't be late for their next lesson, which was Charms for Professor Schirmer told them yesterday that they'd consume their time for her subject today in continuing their research about a certain wizard who invented the Colour Change Charm and given that she was done with that, it means she was free for like the next two hours. "Oh..I won't be late for anything Professor," she said. So, she's just going to watch her classmates there and stay near the Professor. "Oh..And Professor Seren, what are you going to do with the pods?" Plant them?

He was glad that this time he got a boy for a partner. Boy didn't get scarred or disgusted easy not like girls. "Nice to meet you, Ryan." he nodded politely. Messer raised his eyebrows when the boy already know his name. How did he know his name? He was pretty sure they haven't met before. Haven't they? "Yes. Its Messer. Everyone call me that." he said.

Okay onto the task. "So do you want to hold the vines or to plunge your arm into the hole?" he asked.

He turned his head and realized the offer came from a fellow Claw. With one last glance to the Professor in case she was joking and she'd give them a free pass he turned his attention to the brunette "Okay." he replied as he smiled shyly. He gave a nervous glance at the stump just before tearing his eyes back to the girl "I'm...I'm Vickers, what's your name?" Being cordial he is you know, other than the fact that he also needs to know who he's leaving his last will and testament to.

As Professor Bentley responded to her nervous housemate, Stella caught the wink that had been sent her way and immediately knew they weren't getting out of the activity. Something told her this was going to be even more dangerous than the pixies, and she spent a moment wondering how she'd explain any injuries. Odds were she wouldn't be able to hide them, and the snargaluff could definitely do more damage than the pixies had. A scratched cheek and tangled hair was nothing, and even though she understood what the professor had meant about stressful situations teaching them about what they could accomplish, that didn't make her any more comfortable with the situation.

She tried to hide the trepidation as the boy had turned to her again, though. There was no need to make him any more nervous, by knowing that she was. She even dropped her braid, making herself seem that much more confident as she returned his shy smile. "It's nice to meet you, Vickers. I'm Stella," she replied, her own dark eyes following his toward the snargaluffs that half their classmates had apparently faced already. Not to mention the few who were currently struggling with them. "I guess we have a bit more time before it's our turn, at least. Would you rather deal with the pod or the branches?," she asked. Maybe just jumping in would help them get it all over with, even if there was still that discussion before they actually tackled the plant.

What was that look for?! Nothing too terrible was going to happen during this activity, unlike when Professor Vindictus had essentially just thrown them into the greenhouse with tasks and not been there to supervise at all. Nope, Professor Bentley was there with her ever watchful eye...hopefully. Kurumi nodded and attempted a confident smile when he did agree to put the wand down...erm...back in his mouth.

"It's working?!" she squeaked in surprise. Oh thank Merlin. Kurumi tickled the plant with more vigor this time, subconsciously making soft cooing noises like one would do when tickling a surprised kitty. Kurumi felt the vine twist and turn under her touch, glancing down at the ones she had tied to the table and noticing the table shake a bit as it tried to break free. Still, the robes were holding and Kurumi would banish them when Oakey had sucessfull retrieved a pod.

Which hopefully would be in the next few minutes.

"You got it?!" Because she was really wanting to gives her arms a break and collapse on the greenhouse floor if allowed. Not to mention put some ice over her eye.

Even without saying anything, the quick succession of nods told Gideon Kacie not only agreed but really wanted him to help her. "Afraid not," he commented, clearly unable to, especially seeing as Bentley had made it clear that working as a group made the task easier. "How about I deal with the vines and you go for the pod?" It sounded like a good plan seeing as with the vines out of the way, the harvesting should be a fair bit easier.

He just had the hard part...great.

The 5th year eyeing the snargaluff, trying to determine the best way to do so as they awaited their turn and his sister's answer. Better to be prepared, he mused as he watched the previous groups take their turn.

Elise felt her sleeve being tugged on and pivoted to find someone there. Grinning when she asked in she could join her, she nodded. "Sure!"

She'd been a little terrified of being stepped on or something, but since she asked... "I'm Elise, by the way," she added, tying her hair up. "So... would you like to go in or hold the vines?"

Cause honestly, Ellie'd like to do the pod-grabbing. She was a little small to tackle the vines...

Zhenya looked around, seeing someone offer a place to her. She smiled and walked over to them, and said "Hi, I'm Zhenya! Um.. well I don't really mind. If you want to go for the pod, that's fine. If not, I feel confident enough to do it," she said. She was just happy to be part of a group, to be honest.

This was honestly easier said then done as the plant honestly didn't want to give it's pod to her. It kept moving around and making it hard for her to get a grip. When Sophie told her to watch out, on reflex she looked to see what was coming and then slapped the vine away from her. She wasn't going to play nice right now. :33

She reached back into the hole now, and tried even harder to get the pod out. "I think I might have it!"

Olivia waited for the stump to open, the branches seemed to wiggle as Cardigan held them back, hopefully they wouldn't fling her off! All of a sudden the stump opened, snapped it's mouth open and closed and then dissapeared again."How am I supposed to get this thing to stay open?" Olivia stammered, she held her arm over it and sure enough it opened back up."Like this!" Olivia took a deep breath, closed her eyes and shuved her arm into the plant. She felt something that must be a pod and pulled it out.

Sophie was still holding on to the vines when amelia slapped the one going in her direction. That made her giggled and she started losing grip. "Uh oh!" She tried to tighten up but it felt as the vines were getting slippery! "Amelia, I'm losing grip! Hurry up!" Or back off! This Snargaluff wasn't going to give them a good time.

Amelia probably looked stupid right now as she struggled with the pod, but she honestly didn't care all that much at the moment. She wanted her arms out of this plant as much as it wanted her to be out of it. And the fact that Sophie was now rushing her made things worse. D:

She gave a mighty tug... and fell backwards landing on her bottom with the pod in her lap. "I got it!" But she was still in danger of getting hit by the vines if she didn't get up again soon. D:

Sophie held the vines with all of her might for as long as she could, but when Amelia pulled her hand out of it, the plant seemed to have felt the impact and whipped its vines through the air, making Sophie fall as well. No one was holding the vines now and both of the Hufflepuffs were close enough to get slapped all over by the Snargaluff. "Careful, Amelia!" Sophie gasped, lying on the floor with both of her hands up to protect her face and eventually grab the vines again, if possible.

"Nice to meet you, Zhenya," he grinned.

He turned back to the stump and nodded at both girls. "Okay, Butterfly and I will hold the vines while you get the pod," he said, walking toward it. He saw the opening and as soon as he got near vines started shooting up from nowhere, swinging at him.

"Oh boy," he whispered, reaching for one and trying to keep it still. "Okay...go for...it." The vine had just hit his head. That was going to bruise.

"Eh? bleeding?" Daichi moved his hand to his cheeks and felt the small cut. It stung as he touched it and as he looked back at his hand he did saw blood. oh...boy.... The Slytherin HAD to shake his head for he did not like the sight of blood , even if it was just a small drop.

It was weird how he had no problem with other peoples blood, but when he saw his own he got a bit dizzy. He wiped his finger on his uniform and tried to focus on Jory who had grabbed some more vines giving Daichi a better access to the Snargaluff and finding the pod.

He dove back to the Snargaluff, dodging one of the vines that tried to attack him again and as he came closer he tried to find the pod with his hands. He dug his arms in and shouted a "I FOUND IT!" and lifted the pod up. "I GOT IT, JORY I GOT ..." Again, he was hit by one of the vines and Daichi dropped the pod as it fell back in the Snargaluff. He shouted a veeeery baaad word in frustration and tried to grab the vine.

Succeeding in grabbing it, Daichi shook it a little. "YAH! This uniform was new!" he said at the Snargaluff's vine. Yes he talked to it now... The hit had landed on his arm and the fabric had torn leaving a big cut in his sleeve. His arm was fine though.

"I can't grab it!, Jory you try" he said as he glanced at the Hufflepuff while still holding the vine. He then moved to where Jory was standing and grabbed the vines he was holding. "Okay i got them... can you try if you can take the pod out?"

''Ah well,Messer Pleasure to be working with you.''Ryan said smiling as he listened to What the boy said.''Um,Do the plunging into the hole.''He said confused.

"If I get the pod that means I'll have to get really close to it and touch it," she said, her eyes wide as she looked at her brother. She was really wishing that she had missed this lessen today. Kacie had a very active imagination so whenever she saw a snargaluff all she could see is how it looked in her dream. An evil stump with eyes and a mouth, with its vines waving in the air, waiting to wrap around its next snack. She gulped at the thought. "You remember my snargaluff dream don't you? So I'm not all that sure if I can do this, but I guess if I have to I'll try as long as you hold the vines really good."

Taylor looked at Lily after Angelina was back far enough, and waited for the go ahead so that both can run away.

"That is the idea...yes," Gideon remarked watching her and wondering why she seemed so apprehensive about the whole ordeal. Some fear was natural, yet his sister seemed so strung out about dealing with the snargaluff. The 5th year was clueless as to the reason until Kacie spoke up once more after swallowing nervously.

The snargaluff dream...

How he could have forgotten? It was a nightmare Kacie had had after stumbling upon reference to the entity in one of the books in the family library. Gideon himself bit his lip trying to think of what should be done. Sure, Bentley didn't seem like the type to force Kacie to deal with it if she knew yet the professor had mentioned using the lesson to learn something about yourself. Maybe this could be learning experience.

"Aye...I remember. But this is me yer talking to," Gideon started to say, trying to use a reassuring tone. "Like I'm gonna let anything happen to ye...or me for that matter," he added as the group in front of them stepped away finally revealing it was their turn to deal with the source of their activity and Kacie's distress. "I promise to hold them well," he finished, and with that said, walked up to the plant, its vines already waving since being freed by its previous combatants. Avoiding the grip of one passing vine, Gideon went to grab for another two with each of his hands. The professor had mentioned trying to tie them together so it might as well be tried at least once.

Lily wasn't used to this. She wasn't typically the one giving the directions, but with this task she had taken the lead. Once Angelina was free, Lily knew that herself and Taylor could get away from the plant. "Ok... Are you ready Tay?" Lily waited to get a response so that they would go at the same time. "On three ok?... One... Two...Three!" Lily said loud enough for Taylor to hear. On three, Lily started to back away. As she did, the vines started lashing out as they had more freedom to move. The vines thrashed as Lily got further away, and just as she had almost gotten out of reach, one of the vines swung out and struck Lily on the cheek. It wasn't very hard, though it stung when it hit Lily. Lily was not stunned, but instinctively her hand went up and touched her cheek as she tried to warn Taylor of the incoming vine. "Tay! watch out! the vine is coming at you!" Lily stood back near Angelina waiting for Taylor to join them.

"I'm holding you to that," Kacie replied to him not letting anything happen to her or himself. But there was no telling what might happen in dealing with evil snargaluff. She bit her lip as she watched Giddy step forward when it was their turn, keeping her distance for the moment while he tried to get the vines under control. She gasped as he avoided one vine, had that been her she was sure it would have got her.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Tie them so they can't move. Kacie thought to herself as she watched Giddy. She didn't start to slowly move forward until he got a handle on more of the vines. "I can't believe I'm doing this," she muttered to herself, as she inched closer and closer to the stump where the pod was located. While keeping a lookout just in case one of the vines got away from Giddy. She knew she probably should move faster for her and Giddy's sake, but her fear of the evil snargaluff was holding her back.

Taylor was about to dodge the vine that Lily was warning her about when it cut across her neck. She held back a yelp and clenched her teeth. Tay got away from there as fast she could. Her neck was slightly bleeding but she didnt care.

"H-Hi Stella." he managed to stammer out and eek out a awkward smile. Hey at least she looks calmer than he was, he feels like he's sweating buckets already. He looked back at the students getting thrashed about and aaaalmost said she can have the sinewy branches, but he was far more cultured than that.

"I'll take care of the branches." he said nodding more confidently than he felt. Then he saw the maw of the snargaluff as one student seized for the pod. "Unless of course you'd much rather not stick your arm in that." then they can switch.

Lily watched at Taylor got cut across the neck with the vine. "Are you ok, Taylor?" Lily asked rushing over to her friend's aid. Looking at Taylor's cut, Lily could tell that it wasn't deep, so it shouldn't be a problem. Sighing in relief, Lily walked back over to where Angelina was standing. She looked at her forearms, just out of curiosity, to see if she had been scraped. Her arms had little scratches all over them from fighting the snargaluff plant, but Lily didn't really mind since that was what happens when you deal with possible dangerous plants.

Once the trio was a good deal away from the plants, Lily took off a glove and felt above her eyebrow to see how bad the cut there was. It wasn't bleeding anymore, so Lily moved on to the cut across her cheek. That too wasn't bleeding anymore. Lily turned to Taylor and Angelina and smiled, "We did it. Now we just have to give the pod to Professor Bentley and we can head back up to the castle."

"Yeah im ok." She laughed and reached up to her neck. When they got fart enough away she took off her gloves and wiped the drying blood off her neck. She nodded, "Yeah lets give the pod to the professor and get out of here." Tay chuckled.
