There was a crisp, cool breeze outside, indicating that the holidays weren't too far away now. The leaves blow across the ground, racing you down to the greenhouses where Professor Bentley is waiting in Greenhouse Three.
Inside, Professor Bentley is standing beside two long rows of puffapod plants, each with pods bursting with seeds, just waiting to be harvested. Most of the students would recognise them from the previous year ... how time has flown! Stools are arranged along the perimeter of the raised flower bed, waiting for the students to be seated.
OOC: THE LESSON HAS STARTED, DO NOT ARRIVE LATE--JUST PRETEND YOU WERE HERE THE WHOLE TIME. If you haven't done so already then please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations and the SS Site Rules. All SS Board Rules apply. Alyssa quickly rushed into the greenhouse hoping that she wasn't late for class and was relieved to see that there were only a few students present and that class hadn't started yet. She saw Professor Bentley standing between two rows of plants that looked familiar and realized that it was the Puffapods that they had learned to plant last year.
Alyssa quickly went up to the Professor to greet her. " Good morning, Professor. I'm so excited to see that we are going to be working with the Puffapod plants again. I can't wait for class to start."Alyssa smiled at the Professor before going over to one of the empty stools and sat down. She then took out her journal to review what they has learned about the Puffapods last term.

Jordan never thought in his life he would ever take Herbology. But there he was, strutting in the greenhouse, looking for some fellow Gryffindors. He was sick when the first lesson was going on, but now he was back. After walking around a little bit, he spotted the Herbology Professor. "Good morning Professor Bentley." Jordan said enthusiastically.
Yay! It was time for one of Angelina's favorite classes again! She walked in with a smile on her face. The first thing she did once she arrived in the Greenhouse was she turned to the professor and said,"Hello Professor Bentley, having a good morning?" Angelina make we smile ago away, she was so happy this nice morning.

Alex happily made his way into the Herbology classroom. After all that hard Ancient Runes and Arithmancy stuff he had to sit through, he was definitely looking forward to having class in the greenhouses. His smile brightened when he saw what Bentley had laid out for them...PUFFAPODS! Those were some of his favorites!
"Hello Professor Bentley!" he said happily as he made his way to an empty seat.

Hitching his book bag onto his shoulders, Vickers wrapped his blue scarf around his neck as he quickly made his way out of the Ravenclaw towers and down towards the greenhouses for his next class. Easing the scarf off as he entered the threshold, he nodded his head and greeted the Herbologist "Hello Professor Bentley." the Eagle-boy smiled politely. He spotted Kurumi and gave her a small-ish wave before his sight landed on the puffapods lined up. He took to a seat near one such pod and brought out his Herbology book, flipping to the page that covers that day's specimen.

Mo trudged down to the greenhouses very quickly, wrapped up tightly to TRY to keep warm. GAH. This place was SO COLD! Entering the greenhouse for Herbology he smiled timidly at the Professor. "Good day, ma'am," he said as he paused just inside... VICKERS!
Mo immediately made his way over and slid into a seat beside him.
Jayden skipped happily into the greenhouse. Herbology was quickly becoming one of her favorite subjects, and she couldn't wait to get started with the day's lesson. "Good day Professor Bentley!" She called out cheerfully, flashing the woman a warm smile and a wave.
She opened her book to the page regarding puffapods, looking up their history and uses as she waited for class to start.

Ahhh...another day in the greenhouses.
And another lesson in the class that was becoming more and more another one of Gideon's favorites besides potions and astronomy. Maybe it really was true and he just prefered subjects of a natural nature. Whatever the case, the Gryffindor made his way down to the greenhouses with his bag of supplies and such slung over his shoulder. "Good day Professor Bentley," he greeted with a smile as he entered and spotted the woman, making his way over to one side of the puffapod rows to await the class to begin.
It wasn't hard at all to summize what they would be dealing with this lesson.
"Hello Professor Bentley," Kacie said happily after entering the greenhouse. She was excited about another herbology lesson, that she couldn't help wondering what they would be doing today. That was before her eyes fell on the patch of puffapod. She gasped and her eyes lite up like a child on Christmas morning at the plant they were obviously going to be working with for this class. "PUFFAPODS!"
Kennedy tugged his robes to him as he made his way to Herbology. His curly hair swayed all over his head as the soft wind blew. He really needed a haircut, but he didn't know a barber shop around here. Maybe...he should get someone to cut it for him? Hmm...yeah, but not Adam. Not that he minded his new friend's company, but trouble seem always ensue whenever they were in the same room.
He entered the greenhouse and when his green eyes found Professor Bentley his cheeks slightly reddened. "Good day, Professor Bentley," he said, smiling. She was even prettier today...Oh gosh, no, no. He wasn't going to think of his Professor as pretty...even if she was.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he went to sit in one of the stools and finally noticed what he recognized to be puffapods. Cool.
She had been looking forward to the next Herbology lesson since the last one had finished. Glenn liked to take a break from all the thinking and could just take care of her plants every once in a while.
Glenn head down to the Greenhouses, her blonde hair in a ponytail at the back of her head and her Herbology supplies in her arms. As she walked into the Greenhouse and delighted in the earthy smell, "Good morning Professor Bentley!" Glenn smiled and found a stool by Ella and Sophie.
Asher was beyond excited about another herbology lesson. He made his way out of the castle and out to the grounds. He made it down to the greenhouses.
Sticking his hands in his pockets as he walked into the greenhouse where this lesson was being held. He smiled and nodded at the professor. "Good morning, Professor Bentley!" He said happily. Skipping over to the middle of the greenhouse. Oh the were working with Puffapods!

Amelia raised her brow as she walked towards where the class would be held today and saw the Puffapods. She remembered working with them in the past, and she thought that they were rather interesting.
"Hello, Professor Bentley!" she said with a wave before finding herself a stool to sit down on.
It was the time of year when it started to get very cold, and Silvia hated the cold, making these walks outside very unpleasant. So she hurried down the lawn and into the greenhouse for her next herbology lesson. "Hello," she said to Professor Bentley as she found a stool to sit on and took a look at the plants in front of her. They looked...interesting. Silvia wasn't sure she had ever seen these kinds of plants before. She sat quietly and waited for class to start.
Amelia stepped into the greenhouse, pausing slightly, before beginning her hesitant walk closer to the professor. She really hoped that this time they wouldn't be working with a dangerous plant. Having to be around the fireseed bush had been horrible with her fear of fire added to her claustrophobia.
Nevertheless her voice was chipper as she said, "Hi Professor Bentley." Because the Professor was nice enough, and Herbology was one of her favourite classes after all. Just some of the plants they had to work with weren't so great. But this lesson would be good. Because she had a positive attitude about it. And with a positive attitude one could always do well. Or at least that's what someone had told her...
Autumn walked into the classroom with a smile on her face, the smell of plants and nature always tickled her nose in just the right way, some people think that damp soil stank! But Autumn liked it.
"Good day professor how are you?"
She beamed and stood by her self to the side and placed her bag by her feet, she took out her diary and started to write.

I am in herbology as I write, I got my first homewor assignment where I had actually been in the class!! Detention was...... ok. I geuss. Nothing to horrid.
I love Hogwarts I do miss my family but I can survive!!! It's amazing here!
I really like this guy conrad from slytherin but I havn't seen him In a while and I don't think his family would like me because I am muggle born.
I also have a few other friends. Oh I've already had a trip to the hospital wing! I broke my wrist when the stairs change! I'm such a clumsy person.

Kurumi pulled on her mask to pull it away from her face and below her chin so she could return Vickers' smile. Bad idea. The amount of blooming puffapods in the greenhouse was overwhelming and Kurumi immediately squeak!sneezed.

Kurumi's head turned around when she heard Daichi's voice and she smile at him - once again, with the mask still on but hopefully her eyes were able to convey the feeling. "Allergies," she replied, pointing at all the flowers.

I am in herbology as I write, I got my first homewor assignment where I had actually been in the class!! Detention was...... ok. I geuss. Nothing to horrid.
I love Hogwarts I do miss my family but I can survive!!! It's amazing here!
I really like this guy conrad from slytherin but I havn't seen him In a while and I don't think his family would like me because I am muggle born.
I also have a few other friends. Oh I've already had a trip to the hospital wing! I broke my wrist when the stairs change! I'm such a clumsy person.
Autumn looked up to see if any of her friends had come in...

Seren glanced down at the pendant watch that hung loosely around her neck. Just a few more moments and then they could get on with the lesson. After all, it was going to be a busy busy busy lesson!

Ellie was in a rather good mood that day. Which was good. Fantastic, even. She walked in, her long brown curls bouncing down her back. "Hey, Bentley!" Ellie said cheerfully.
And then she saw Louisa - the walking dead, it seemed - and her smile completely vanished. No more happy smile. No more bouncing curls. Ellie knew Louisa had been quite down lately, so she slowed down the cheerfulness and walked over to her friend. "Hey, LouLou." Ellie said quietly, lightly nudging her in the arm. She didn't look so good.
Spike was his usual happy self as he entered the greenhouse. Curls a-bouncing and all that. "Good morning, Professor!" he said cheerily as he rubbed his hands together to warm them up from the cold air outside. He was clearly glad to be in the greenhouses.
And then a barely audible groan could be heard from him. Puffapods. Again. Sure, they looked ready for harvesting, which would be fun. And he'd liked the actually planting bit. But why were there so many pink ones? Hmph. Maybe Professor Bentley had a blue one for him? After he asked about it last term? He looked hopeful at the range of plants there, willing a blue one to appear.
