Nate closed his eyes and very slowly teased his lips in between Faina's. This kiss already felt different, but Nate liked it. The hand that was swirling Fai's blonde curtain moved to her cheek, gently pulling her into the kiss, which was gradually increasing in intensity.

Carter was taking his usual run. Except today he decided on running along the pathways instead of his route around the lake. As he ran he soon found himself alone.

Did nobody else go running this time of year?

Apparently not.

He took a little break to stretch his leg muscles. Stretch there... stretch that.

He smirked.

Hop here. Hop there. Clap.

This foot. That foot.

Nothing wrong with taking a little dancing break while running. Right?

''Well once I first found out that I was going to Hogwarts I studied a heap so I could get good at my classes.''To Ryan his favourite subject was Herbology.

Marie was sitting back behind a tree on the pathway. You could say she was on a stakeout so to speak. She was waiting for someone... anyone to pass by so she could take their picture.

After sitting there for what seemed like forever she heard someone running and then stop not too far ahead of her tree. Looking around the tree she noticed it was Carter and he was... What was he doing? Was he doing that stupid Cha Cha Slide dance they learned in Muggle Studies?

Oh this was too good to pass up. Getting out her camera she quickly snapped a picture of Carter looking like the fool he is dancing.

Not wasting any time so Carter wouldn't catch her she quickly put her camera away then took off back towards the castle.

She may just have to post this one around the school later.

" What rank is your dad?" William asked Minerva." Sorry, I meant they are both purebloods" William said to Minerva.Iknow this sounds funny, but I prefer to use Minerva" William smiled." So you are a witch from your mother's side and muggle on your dad's side which makees you half-muggle if I am right" Willaim explained to Minerva. " Lots of people call me Will" William smiled again. " Minerva, you are a real pretty girl and I am glad you are mine." he told her.

"That would help a lot, do you have a favorite subject?" she asked. "My favorite is Potions, I even don't mind professor Lafay" she admitted. Not many people liked the Potions master/head of Slytherin house.

''It's got to be Herbology.''He liked Proffessor Lafay from what he had heard of her.He just remebered someone had told him Hogsmeade was back open.''Hey it's up to you,do you want to go to Hogsmeade.'

"Herbology has to be my worst subject" she said laughing. She just couldn't get the hang of that subject. Really Hogmeade was finally back open "Yeah I'd love to go. Where to? The Three Broomsticks?" she asked. Of course she would want to go, it would be great to get off school grounds for awhile.

"He is a Sergeant Major." Minerva looked at William and smiled. "So you must be really good at all the magic here being from two wizards. I knew nothing when I got here just the very little mom told me. Minerva is fine. Honestly I love the name William." Minerva blushed as he said she was pretty. "Thank you William, I'm very happy this has worked out the way it has as well."

Scott looked over at the boy approaching him and managed a smile."Thanks, I guess" he said laughing. He patted Jordan on the back and then chuckled."You alright mate?" The spluttering and choking was worrying, but Scott had more important matters to deal with. Turning to frown at the couple again, he tried to be more civil. "Ever heard of a little thing called subtlety? Ever cared about hurting anyone else's feelings?" No, Scott wasn't very good with relationships, that much was proved by Chelsea. What really worried him though, was their unreserved attitude. Why couldn't they be a bit more secretive?

Once she began talking, Ellie noticed the seventh-year's face growing paler, and it looked like panic was setting in to his mind. Well, good. Maybe if Braeden feared Ellie a little bit, he would listen to everything she had to say and be smart enough to do something about it. Or she would have to whip out her fists of fury.

Ellie watched Braeden as he scrambled around for words. He looked rather desperate to make his case known to Ellie; that he really wasn't thinking and it was a stupid idea. At least he understood that. And this Ruby girl... Ellie didn't really know her at all, but she didn't like her very much. She just sounded like trouble. Eh. Scratch that. She was trouble. Kissing Braeden? Making him go skinny dipping? Yeah, that wasn't a good sign. And Ellie was very judgmental.

After she had been staring at the snowy ground for a bit, her eyes went back up to Braeden's when he said that he loved her. "I know you do, Brae." She said quietly. And she did, she knew that. But Ellie wasn't the one that needed telling at this point. "And I know you didn't mean to hurt her. You would never do something like that."

The look on Braeden's face was kind of heart-breaking. He looked so sad and beaten. And what he asked next amplified that. Did Emma know that Brae would never hurt her on purpose. Ellie sighed and looked around for a moment before looking back at the tall boy. "I just..." She sighed. "I think she's just afraid that she's losing you... And with what happened with Caroline - yes, I know about that too - and all this Ruby stuff..." Ellie paused and pursed her lips for a moment. "Technically, I can't tell you what to do, but I think you need to do something to let Emma know that you're she's not going to lose you. Because with all this drama, and you leaving Hogwarts soon, I don't think she knows that completely."

That was just her two cents.

At this, Nate broke away, looked up at Scott, and said, "Right, sorry," before shifting Faina and himself around to the side of the tree opposite Scott. "Now, Fai, where were we?" he whispered, leaning in once more.

"Yeah I've been good," Jordan had managed to calm himself down, so he just sat back and kept silent watching the events unfold. He wondered what would happen next.

Braeden had grown completely quiet after his big question to Ellie, staring intently at the girl as he awaited for an answer, while she just stared at the ground before meeting his gaze. When she finally spoke, assuring the boy she knew he would never hurt Emma on purpose, Brae gave a brief sigh.

Well, good. At east Ellie believed him. But did Emma?
That's when the Ravenclaw began to explain the situation to him. Apparently Emma was afraid that she was losing him?! What?! If anyone was losing anyone here, it was him! He was the one who kept screwing things up… Though he could understand why Emma would feel that way. He'd been so insanely busy with classes and NEWTs this term, that he had become a little distant not only with her but everyone else; and then, of course, the few times she did get to see him, he was skinny dipping with Ruby or doing other things that made him look just as bad.

And then Ellie brought up Caroline!
"WHAT?!"
The boy's jaw fell to the floor at that moment, brown eyes wide as saucers yet again. HOW did Ellie find out about that!? CRAP. And if she knew, that meant… EMMA KNEW TOO!
Oh, MERLIN.
No wonder Emma was freaking out on him! … But how did Ellie find out?! The boy gave her a wary look. She always seemed like one of those wise, Dumbledore-like people to him… like she just knew everything without being told, and saw everything without being there.
Girls, man.

As Ellie continued, Brae's minor heart-attack went away, and he was left with guilt instead. He had no idea Emma had been feeling like this… she always seemed so happy and confident, he just… well, he just never really TRULY knew what was really going on in that pretty little head of hers. It amazed him that someone like Emma - insanely beautiful, incredibly smart, an amazing Quidditch player - would worry about losing him, the Gryffindork with the messy hair and the attention-span of a six-year-old.
So, he had to do something to let Emma know that she wasn't going to lose him.
But… what?

Brae's brows furrowed slightly as he suddenly turned thoughtful. What could he possibly do?! What would prove to Emma that he loved her and didn't want to lose her - and that she wasn't losing him either? What kind of things usually gave girls that message?
Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh… Braeden nearly drooled as he stared off into space with his mouth open.

And then he realized.
Ellie was Emma's best friend. And he was in desperate need of help.

"Hey, El…"

Scott nodded to Jordan in a friendly manner, but also to signal that he was going to have words with Nate. He walked right up to the two lovebirds and scowled at them. "Do you not have any decency or morals whatsoever?" This boy angered Scott, and he turned to face his friend "I saw Pam in the Room of Requirement, crying her eyes out, yet you seem to see it fit to twist the knife!" Now he was seriously angry. "What is your problem? Maybe you could try to take it a little slower but nooooo...you never stop!"

Scott turned to the other girl and gave her an incredibly fake cheesy smile. "Hello Faina It's nice to meet you, I'm Scott" he said in the most sarcastic tone he could manage.

As Minerva sat with William she noticed another group forming around Nate. Here we go again she thought. She didn't know whether or not to be ready for wands again. This group really needed to just stay away from each other. "Hey Nate, everything ok?" Minerva decided to ask before acting.

Scott sounded utterly ticked to Nate, and he didn't know what to do. Before he could even formulate anything, Minnie was close by. He hadn't even seen her come up, but she was a relieving sight. "Yeah, everything's alright. Scott's really mad at me, and we need to talk it out. Which I was just now going to do. Faina, I'm sorry," Nate said as he stood up and walked back around to face Scott. "What do you want from me?"
Nate was serious. And it showed in his voice and eyes. "Honestly, Scott, what do you want from me? What do you want me to do?" Nate asked again, keeping his best poker face. After all, any emotion would probably make Scott even angrier.

As Nate walked over to him, Scott calmed himself. His face became straight, rather than frowning and his expression was sincere. "Nate, I'm sorry for shouting, but what I want is for you to be a bit more subtle or reserved" he looked over at Jordan and realized he wasn't going to get any help, which he could understand. "Perhaps; don't snog Faina in public, or even at all. Take it slow, and once Pam is completely over you, then you can carry on with all this" He looked over at the other girl and flashed her a quick smile, to show he wasn't the depressing moaner most people believed him to be.
Jez. He needed Jez in this situation, he was terrible at this sort of thing!

Faina gave Scott a cruel smile, "Hello Scott, I am indeed Faina. My life has really sucked until about two days ago and now you are just starting to really get on my nerves. Sorry I've had to meet you this way, I can tell you are probably a very nice guy... but," Faina paused for a moment trying to put this as nicely as possible, "I don't think we can be friends right now," really she meant Stop raining on my parade! I will hurt you!

Nate looked up at Scott. "Honestly, I can make no promises but I understand what you're saying. And please, don't be offended by her, she's emotionally charged at the moment," he said, gesturing to Faina and mouthing 'Sorry' as he looked at her. "Can we all get over this? Pam is a tough girl. Trust me, I know. She will be fine, and I will personally see to it that our friendship is not ruined. Nothing is worth losing a friend." Again, he mouthed 'Sorry' to Faina. Nate moved back and sat down next to Fai again. "Watch your mouth, Fai, you could really get yourself hurt..." he whispered.

" Sounds like a very important person in the military" Willaim told Minerva." You would think I would be good at magic, but I struggle a lot" Willaim said to Minerva." Good, then you call me William and I will call you Minerva" he explained to her." You are very smart" Willaim smiled.

True to her nature, Sierra sulked to herself as she carried the camera out onto the grounds. Picture taking was not her thing. It was for people who cared about other people and other things, and...well...Sierra generally didn't bother with her fellow students and could care less if they moved off to Neverland in the next two days.

...but this was for homework, and so she'd do it just this once. Plus, it was Lafay's homework, and that generally put her in better spirits about it. She steered herself onto the pathways, camera raised and ready to catch some leaf blowing in a unique sort of way or something. That was when she saw it--the perfect moment! Some random Ravenclaw was kissing his girlfriend. Heh.

Merlin. How old were they anyway?! Ehh. Forget that. Sierra edged beside a nearby tree, raised her camera, and...

*click*

She smirked then left the pathways in search of another victim.

Minerva heard Nate say she wasn't needed. She was glad, because she didn't want to really leave William, but Nate had her back so many times she couldn't not go over if he needed her. "Ok Nate, but just say the word and I will be over."

Minerva blushed. "I don't know about that" she said. "Remember I am the person that has pulled a wand on Rose twice now and don't have a clue how to do a defensive spell. Luck has just been on my side that she has listened to reason instead of using magic."

Sammy had been wondering the school grounds in search of Everett to kill him but her search so far had been unsuccessful, but she did spot someone else she needed to talk to. Though this person she didn't want to attack, she needed to apologize to this person. She didn't even know the kid's name and she and Amy had gone off at her, that wasn't right. So she quickly walked up to the kid after spotting her and tapped her on the back. "Uh. I think I owe you an apology. From both Amy and myself" she said awkwardly, she didn't do stuff like this very often. "So, uh, sorry for being rude earlier" she said with a small nod, hoping the kid wouldn't yell at her like Amy would have.
