"Ok lets go then." Harvey said and they left for the Common Room.

Annabeth smiled and followed Harvey shaking with the cold and her wobbly legs.

WistEbony approached the snowman. How odd. She wondered about it and then decided that must have been some odd accident with the cane. Oh well.

Sky spotted Aurora beckoning her over, and walked over narrowly avoiding slipping in a puddle. "Really weird," she responded when she heard what Aurora said. Sky kept watching the snowman melt. Hmm…… "I wonder if the school ghosts are trying to prank us," she said.

Kennedy frowned at the snowman, but really he was just thinking. "Well, isn't he supposed to be nice and help others?" he said. "In the muggle world that would be our President and they're nice." Not that he's met the president, but they always tried to things that would benefit the people.

"Oh, I'm not worrying about Hogwarts getting sued, I'm worrying that I might have to find a lawyer to sue," he said with smirk. And, that was the Slytherin in him talking, although it was very true. Kennedy nodded. "I have." He has read about Hogwarts history and even his cousin has told him about a few when she came here, but none seemed realistic, but that could be because giant snakes don't kidnap young girls at his old school.

His eyes the drifted back to the snowman. It was making a mess! Hogwarts didn't have janitors to clean this mess up? "Why isn't anyone doing anything?" he said out loud. The Head boy was there even a professor and none were doing anything. Why don't they call the police, that's what his teachers would have done in his muggle school.

One second the snowman is there. The next it is gone. Coal eyes, carrot nose and it's hat lay scattered on the stone ground, which was now a giant wet mess.

Sky watched as the snowman…… melted?…… disintegrated? She couldn't even find the right word for it. Hmm… well. There went the problem of what to do. Now who's going to clean up the water?

Aurora shrugged, "He can do whatever he likes, he's the minister... my parents don't seem to like him much." she said. "I thought muggles had a minister too... do they have a president as well? I think there's a president in Germany actually. But I'm pretty sure it's a minister in England." she asked, frowning a little as she tried to sort it out in her head. She didn't know much about politics, muggle or otherwise, but her parents talked about it a lot so she picked up some bits.

"You'd never win." she said, grinning at him. "Not against Hogwarts. Else I'm pretty sure it would have been shut down years ago." Yep, snakes, evil wizards, huge floods, evil pirate ships... there was so much they could have been shut down for... good thing they were so wonderful at dealing with pressure really. "Cool stories aren't they. My great Grandmother was in Hogwarts whilst Harry Potter was here. She was a lot younger though... but my Grandmother likes to tell us the stories." Yeah, her great grandmother was bored of them by now so her daughter would tell them all instead.

Why isn't anyone doing anything? "Because I don't think anyone knows what to do... this doesn't exactly happen a lot." she said. Yeah, she'd certainly never seen animated snowmen running around the school. And then...

"Oh, look at the poor thing." she said, as the snowman melted. "We should really try and clean up. Can someone teach me a drying spell?" She wasn't sure that hot air would do the trick here - they'd end up in a sauna.

Destiny watched in HORROR as the snowman started to get smaller and smaller until finally, he was no more. Why hadn't anyone tried to save him!? At least she suggested turning down the heat! He wasn't even doing anything wrong, just doing normal snowmen things. Sliding along the floor, leaving puddles and tipping his hat. What if the snowman had snowchildren? What were they going to do now!?

With her bottom lip jutted just a little, she pushed her way passed Carter and ignoring all the others just milling about, talking about Merlin knows what, she was too upset to pay attention, Destiny knelt down beside the puddle, picking up the left over pieces; his hat, his coal eyes and his carrot nose.

"We should probably bury you."

Ahhh! Why did Destiny insist on pushing Carter toward the snowman? What if it ate him?

However... that turned out to not be a problem as the snowman melted...

Which seemed to upset Destiny. After shoving him toward the thing for the past few minutes, Destiny instead shoved Carter out of the way. But, the floor was wet, so Carter ended up slipping a bit.

He recovered just in time to hear Destiny wanting to bury it...

He didn't think it was a very good idea to just bury water. "Perhaps you should just bury that hat?" he suggested.

Burying it's eyes and nose would be a little weird...

And its body was a serious safety hazard. They needed to dry up the floor... not attempt to bury it.

Alyssa came running through the Great Doors into the Entrance Hall. She had forgotten something while she was in the Greenhouse with Professor Bentley and was running back to her Girls Dorm room and to pick it up. "I can't keep the Professor waiting. Hurry, Alyssa. Sorry!! Sorry!!" she apologized as she ran avoiding students who seemed to be looking down at the floor....the WET FLOOR!!.

Alyssa felt her legs slipping from under her. She flailed her arms and tried to grab someone and struggled to stay up at the same time, but the more she did that, the more she was flying forward. The fact that parts of it was snow, "What is snow doing in the Entrance Hall?" didn't help at all. Alyssa slid all the way across Entrance Hall. "HEEEEELLLPPP ME SOMEONE!!!" she yelled out when she saw where she was headed. The stairs down to the dungeons!! She tried to grab onto something because she knew that if she fell down those stairs she was going to seriously hurt herself.

She had just reached the edge of the top of the stairs and was about to fall down them, when her hand accidentally brushed something that was hanging around her neck and had slipped out from under her robes. A bright orange glow emanated from it. Suddenly, Alyssa slammed into what seemed like an invisible wall of cushion, which stopped her fall. She couldn't explain how that could have happened. There was nothing in front of her except stairs. With her forward momentum halted, she was able to grab hold of the stair's balustrade. Her legs were shaking badly. She slowly sat down at the top of the stairs and heaved a sigh of relief. She looked down to see what her hand had brushed against. It was the wooden rune that the Professor had made them wear around their necks.

"I guess my blessing did work after all." She thought to herself as she closed her eyes and kissed the rune to thank it for saving her life.

Sky just started, blinking at the girl. She seemed so upset about something as normal as a snowman melting. Yeah, sure it had been acting abnormally, almost alive even, but it was just a snowman. Surely, instead of worrying about burying it (burying a snowman?!), they should be cleaning it up? Sky was really starting to wonder about some of her fellow Hogwarts students.

Before she could wonder again how they were going to clean the water up before someone got hurt, a girl came in the oak doors. And sure enough she slipped in a puddle
and went sliding right towards the stairs to the dungeons. Sky ran to help her, sliding a little herself, but before Sky could reach her, she'd stopped. "Are you okay?" Sky asked. "Do you need to go to hospital wing?"

Alyssa turned to look at the girl who was talking to her. She was still in shock but was able to reply, "No thanks. I'm okay. I'm not even hurt. Crazy huh?" Alyssa didn't want to tell the girl what had happened. Everyone would think that she was crazy. "Thanks for asking though." Alyssa slowly got up and headed for her Common Room.

India just raised her eyebrow at the hufflepuff girl. Right. Blessing?
"The Blessing didn't do a thing - the snowman disintermelted...its the only word to describe it and its not even a real word."

She wrapped her cloak tighter around her body.

Alright, alright what to do? "Um, so anyone want to conjure a dry mop or maybe just the write a memo to the caretaker...or venture to get him." She offered shrugigng her shoulder. In order to venture you might need a heavily warm water-proof (in case you fall) cloak, a pair of super-treaded wellies that are nicely insulated, and maybe a cayak, an our and a map with directions. The puddle was enormous.

"Er…right. Um… where's the caretaker, again?" Sky asked, feeling stupid. The question reminded her that she really didn't know the school as well as she should after being here for six months. She was really going to have to fix that, right after she found out where the caretaker was so she could ask him to clean the floor.

Wait just a cotton picking minute! That girl should already know where the caretaker was! She looked like she'd been Hogwarts long enough, anyway. "Wait… why don't you go get the caretaker?" Sky asked.

Oh yes.

Destiny knew that people were giving her looks, but what those people didn't know was that, because she was facing their opposite direction, she was giving them looks right back. Death glares, to the lot of them. Except, when Carter spoke up, she actually turned to face him. So he could see the death glare up close.

"Just bury the hat? JUST the hat?" The people at Hogwarts! Why were they so inconsiderate of the dead snowman? "How would you like it if you died, and when the time came to bury you, we only bury your head!?" Okay, so he probably wouldn't even know if it was only his head being buried, but that wasn't the point. The point was that they were going to bury all of the pieces. Of course, she was going to wear the hat first. And that was exactly what she did.

She placed the top hat on her head, and shoved the coal eyes and carrot into her pockets. "I'll bury him myself if you won't help."

Before she could venture onto the grounds, a few things happened. First, a girl came sliding into the Great Hall, and Destiny had the urge to laugh. She shouldn't have been running in the first place! And then, a Ravenclaw girl spoke up.

Pfft.

A mop, really? Normally, under different circumstances, a snowman had JUST died in front of her, she would have been all for mopping. Those things were awesome, the way they sucked up water and how when you hold it upside down it sort of, kind of, resembles a person. "Aren't you a Ravenclaw?" Actually.. wasn't she a witch? "Use 'Tergeo' instead." It was a sad day when Destiny Shepard started thinking..normally.

So, perhaps it was time to roll out of bed, make herself presentable, and stand in the entrance hall waiting for everyone else to show up. Yes, perhaps it was THAT time. Whether she liked it or not, the Slytherin girl stood in the hall, arms crossed and leaning against the wall just staring at a rather blank wall across from her.

Huh, that used to be covered in paint before...

Now it was just the task of waiting, yes? She could do that. Patient girl, she was. She could...do that...

Aurora made her way into the entrance hall and caught sight of Evelyn. She smiled at the head girl (for reasons that she couldn't figure out) and waited for other people to arrive.

Marilyn spied the notice board...and was...confused.

What was the meaning of all this mystery? It seemed like everyone was slinking around these days...and Mar being the type of girl she was didn't like NOT knowing. She couldn't help she was nosey. Not her fault at all.

So, to the Entrance Hall she went, hoping to finally get answers about this whole...covert op situation...Evelyn was already there awaiting everyone, Marilyn supposed. Approaching her, the Slytherin made a face. "Hello..."

Jai entered the Entrance Hall and saw Roselyn. He strode over to her and said,"Hey." He stood next to her and folded his arms across his chest as well. Yup he was going to be waiting too. He watched as others entered the hall with expressions of curiosity and confusion.

Sky schlepped up to the Entrance Hall to see what the note on the notice board was all about. It had captured her curiosity. But all she saw were people standing around. Hmm… So she just waited for a moment to see what would happen……

Upon seeing the first notice hung up by Kurumi, Gideon had been intrigued by the prospect of what was being offered. And as it had said, the fourth year had kept an eye out for any further notice which there eventually was. So when the time had come, he made his way down to the entrance hall, already spotting a few other students.

Slytherin students to be exact including the head girl.

"Um...hello," Gideon greeted politely, then noticing the one Gryffindor prefect appear.

Beezus arrived at the Entrance Hall where the a crowd was slowly turning up. She had read the announcements on the Student Bulletin Board and she always have wanted to explore the world. And since there was a magical oppurtunity, she decided to take part in it.

The problem was, all she can see here are students from the higher levels. Those whom she did not know or she had always been afraid to talk to.

Sighing, she looked for something to sit on while waiting.

Though he did understand a bit how on earth they were going to be able to visit the world in the Entrance Hall, Josh walked in the place his dark eyes staring at the people around. Of course he wanted to see and travel wherever he could yet with current circumstances it had always been impossible for the boy. So well he was in the entrance hall to see and experience what 'The Head Girl' had to show.

Once he spotted Evelyn; he walked past people, and maybe even shoved some of them to get his place at the front before the she-snake, and stopped staring at the girl.

''Well...Head Girl.''

So Marie's curiosity was getting the better of her. Ev was being way to secretive about whatever it was that was going to be happening in the Entrance Hall. So naturally Marie had to go find out what all the secrecy was about.

Spotting Evelyn standing there Marie went over to her... ignoring that cousin It was standing there. "So how much longer you going to make us wait before telling us what the big secret is here?"

Yeah, Marie wasn't one to beat around the bush here. She wanted to know what was going on... and it better not be something stupid either. She had other things she could be doing today like... none of your business things.
