Harvey listened as Rose explained to Lilly about Violet. Then Rose told him that he could stay "Are you sure? You can say No, I 1000% understand. But if you need any thing, anything at all let me know and I will help you, if I cant do it I will find someone who can" he told the two sisters

Rose chuckled slightly. 'I don't know about that. I haven't seen you guys in lessons, but don't be so hard on yourself. You're going through a hard time.' Rose assured her. 'Yeah, Alex is lovely!' Rose smiled weakly. 'C'mon, how about we go back to the common room, we can talk there.' Rose suggested.

'Yeah, but I think we're gonna go back to the common room, the Owlery isn't the best place oto have a conversation...' Rose chuckled softly.

Harvey smiled and looked around at the owlery "Yes I guess you are right" he said chuckling softly.

Rose chuckled as well and hugged him. 'I'll see you around, got it? You have to see me, I won't be able to take it if you leave me.' Rose said quietly.

Harvey hugged her back "hey who said I am leaving you. I am right here. just come find me when you want to see me. I never leave my friends." he told Rose, kissing her forehead "I will always be here for all of you" he said giving both the sisters a smile.

Rose smiled gratefully and bowed her head as he kissed her forehead. 'I shall talk to you when I next see you then. Thank you for being so... Amazing.' she smiled, before leading Lilly away and taking her to the common room.

Harvey smiled. "No problem, thats who I am to my friends a helper." he said as she walked away with Lily. He smiled, he was happy to be there for his friends. He had completely forgotten why he was here. So he went back to his common room.

Sierra couldn't help but smirk at Lafay's response. "I know, I know. I told you I hated dancing--and the likes of this ridiculousness is the reason why," she said. "I think I might drop Muggle Studies next term. Arithmancy, as well. Oh, ...and Ancient Runes, too." ...and if Thereos didn't lighten up, Divination was next on the chopping block. She still hadn't forgotten that abrupt deduction of points... At least he'd redeemed himself...slightly...by giving her one of those points back.

Lafay hadn't exactly clapped the way she was meant to, but Sierra didn't really care either. She just wanted to get this assignment over and done with. "You take...yourself back. Just slide back, ...like this," she said, demonstrating the move. "Okay, and then you just...hop once, stomp with your right foot, stomp with your left foot, ...and then you cha cha. Like this."

She did a slow run through of what they learned in class.

"I never saw the need for Runes... or Arythmancy, for that matter. Non practical classes..." She said and then went back to looking at Greingoth's little dance. It was worth it just to watch her stumble around. Not all girls were graceful. "I don't hop." But she stomped. First her right foot, then her left... "I told you I don't know how to cha cha..." She rolled her eyes. "I should teach you how to Rhumba..."

"...and boring," she added, agreeing with Lafay on the uselessness of Runes and Arithmancy. She probably shouldn't be admitting that, though. ...but it was the the truth. If Sierra wasn't completely lost in either one of them, she was dying of boredom from all the numbers and rune information.

"Well, that's why I'm teaching you," Sierra said, doing the cha cha again. "Just step forward and sort of...swing." To...rumble? Lafay wanted to teach her what? "To rumble?" she asked. She did the cha cha part again just for good measure.

"Okay, Professor Lafay, ...now turn it out," she said, spinning around and facing a different way. "...and again--to the left, then you take it back," she said, repeating the movements. "...one hop." Come on, Lafay. You can hop just this once. No one is looking... She hoped. "Then stomp with your right foot, ...and finally with your left."

"You say that taking IT back is taking yourself back but if I turn in out... it being your body. This dance make no sense." But she still stomped her feet. That was the fun part of the dance.

"No dance makes sense," she said, "but I can try your Rumble sometimes. Or whatever that dance was that you mentioned." Dancing wasn't her favorite thing to do, but she got along so well with Lafay that she honestly didn't mind doing things like that with her professor.

"Okay, so now the song says--'It's time to get funky'. So, ...we gotta get funky," she said, giving Lafay a joking look. She didn't really expect the woman to 'get funky', and she wasn't even going to do so herself. She was really just making fun of the song. "So slide to the right, ...to the left, ...then take it back again," she said, demonstrating each move as she spoke. "Then...two hops, ...right foot two stomps, ...left foot two stomps."

"Greingoth, I'm not sure what the meaning of funky is... unless it's stay in the same spot and do nothing..." Because that's what Sierra did. She then slid to the right, then to the left, and then she stomped. Both feet this time.
"No hopping, I told you I don't hop. Edit your choreography!"

"You know," she said, pausing mid-step, "it sort of seems weird now to hear you call me 'Greingoth'. Just saying." She followed that statement with a small shrug. "Don't worry. I don't know what funky means either. I think it just means do the dance really, really well." Or something. "You're pretty good at this, you know. I mean, outside of all the hopping you refuse to do." She laughed. "What's wrong with hopping anyway?"

"It's not my choreography--I hate dancing. Remember?" she asked. "This ridiculousness is Professor Cerulean's fault. We'll skip the hopping, though. No more hopping from here on out." So there was really only one more step they hadn't covered. The criss-cross. "Okay, Professor Lafay. Do a little jump into the air and criss-cross your feet. Like this."

Sierra did the criss-cross motion for Lafay then gestured for her to do the same.

Hecate watched the child. "I'm sorry Miss Greingoth." She said rolling her eyes, "but ladies don't hop, skip or... jump..." criss-crossing feet... really. "Dancing is supposed to be poised, and eligant, classy... this..." and she repeated the steps that she had just been taught by the child, "is silly and idiotic. I suggest you find a partner, and learn a real dance, like the Waltz." She said and began her descent down the stairs.

Sierra couldn't help but laugh a little as she followed Lafay down the stairs. "That wasn't what I was talking about--my name I mean," she said. "I realize you don't hear me joke often, Professor Lafay, but the name thing was a joke." Although, as she caught up to her Head of House, she was laughing about that line, as well.

"You know, you're right. That was silly and idiotic. I only did it, because I was forced to for my homework, but don't worry--I'll never do it again," she added. Or she didn't plan to, at least. "...but thank you for letting me teach you." Even though she was sure Lafay would do everything in her to forget every last bit of it.

Desiree was back, a new, smaller letter in her hands. This time Lila flew down to her as soon as she walked in. "Hi Lilia" she said feeding her an owl treat. She attached the letter to her foot.

She pet Lila on the head, making sure the letter was secure. "Take this back home, to mum and dad, Oh and no biting I need them to be in a good mood." she told her, and Lila flew off. Desiree left the owlery, distracted, trying to decide what her parents reply would be.

Presley got it. Leo was "in love" with this Maine girl. Big freaking deal. Except it was. It was a big deal that he didn't want her to come home for easter because he missed her, but because he wanted her to meet Charmayne. She sounded French. But still, she had a letter to write to her brother. With it in hand, she trudged up to the owlery.

"Mercury!" Presley called softly, and whistled. When her silver owl flew down to her, she handed him the letter. "You know where to go." And he flew out the window, and Pres went back into the frigid air, back to the castle.

Violet had walked all the way up to the Owlery with Mack riding on her shoulder--he needed a little flying time, he was definitely starting to cause too much trouble in the dorm. Every time she let him out, she caught him trying to steal things from her dorm-mates (she even once found him pecking at her friend Chelsea's Christmas bracelet from her new boyfriend--if he had hidden that, she didn't know what would've happened!). Besides, she was past due writing a letter to Miss Howard, her governess.

Arriving at the top of the tower, she held out her hand for the thieving magpie to clamber onto, then flung out her arm and watched Machievelli sail out into the clear, breezy sky. After watching him a few minutes (to make sure he was flying and not sneaking off somewhere), she looked down at her letter:


After she decided that the letter was properly written and not (too) goofy, she rolled it up, secured it with a small cord, and looked around for a likely school owl to carry it to her governess. She saw one that looked particularly alert and vigorous and decided that he would do a good job, so she held out her arm and the owl flew right over to her, like it was ready for a job. She tied the letter to its leg, gave it an owl treat which she had placed in her pocket just for this purpose, and said to it, "Please take this to Miss Jane Howard, No. 3 Twist's Lane, London." The owl snapped up the treat and immediately took off.

While she watched it fly off, Violet had absently put her hand in her inner robe pocket the way she frequently did now that she was carrying her egg, Lewis, around in there. Suddenly she realized that the silvery orb was dry as a bone! Hastily she took it out and performed the Humidus charm on it--a twirl and point with the wand and a loud "Argentum Humidus!", and Lewis was soon right as rain again. Smiling, Violet put it back in her pocket, then looked around for Mack to see if he was ready to head back into the castle.

Raven reached the owlery with unhappy face. She wanted to post a letter. A short letter to her Dad



She need to write a letter to Adler. Then she took a parchment and her stationery and started to write.



"Bubo!!!" she shouted to her owl.

"Send this letter to Adler and Dad." said her. "Oh, send this letter to Dad, he was not in Liverpool anymore. He moved to Essex. QUICKLY!!!"

Then she saw Bubo left the owlery and flew away. She was very mad. Very very mad



AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Matthew ran up to the owlery with his letter in hand. It was for his cousin, Joseph. It read:

Dear Joseph. Hogwarts is awsome. I've made some new friends. Havn't got a detention yet! So ha! You owe me 10 galleons at the end of term, 'cause I'm gonna last 'till then. Will you see me in the hols?

He attached it to a random owl's leg and told him to bring it to the leaky cauldron, where Joe was staying.

He almost emmediately got a reply. It was a small not attached to a bag with a label that said Sugarplums sweet shop. Cool! That was in Diagon alley! Inside was 3 packets of bertie bott's every flavour beans. His favorite since he was a kid. The note attached read:

I don't know whether your parents have yet told you, but they're having a divorce. You'll get to pick whether to stay at your mum or dad's. You'll be welcome to visit me in Gloucester whenever you like, though. Glad to hear your settling down, and you sooo won't last.

Matthew stared at the letter for a minute. No. Joe was pulling a prank. Surely his parents would have told their own son before Joe. But he sounded sure. Maybe the sweets were to cheer him up? He ran out of the owlery quickly.

harvey went up to the owlery and looked for his snowy owl, he didnt see him so he called to him "Yo Frost, where are you? Need to send something!!!!" just then he saw a snowy owl fly down towards him and land in front of him looking quite sleepy. "Oh I am sorry were you sleeping?" The owl gave a hoot as if to say "yes", before giving a yawn "I am sorry I didnt know. But I need you send this letter to Mom ok? Stay there and rest for a while before coming back, I will use one of these guys until then" just then his owl seemed to become wide awake, looked shocked and gave a hoot as if to say "WHAT??!!" "Ok, ok I wont use any of them I will wait for you. ok? " his owl seemed to calm down and hooted to say "yes" "ok here is the letter"

Text Cut: Harvey's Letter

Harvey tied the letter to his leg "Ok off you go" with that his owl flew off and Harvey kept watching him until he could not see him anymore. He then left the owlery.

Looking for Gilderoy was the hardest part of sending a letter, and truth be told, it seemed that the hardest part of them all was to find some time to write one.

Aha! "I have one request to make, and...you'll probably like it, because you're bound to deliver this...," he said to his owl while holding out the piece of parchment, "...to Neptune...but I have no address. I know you'll figure it out. You always do." There was a treat for Gilderoy before Treyen even tied up the letter.

He waited until Gilderoy had set off, which he did rather quickly. The owl liked to find people, that was always a plus. Always.

Treyen didn't wait long in here, though, he was on his way back as soon as the owl was out of sight.

Minerva went up to send a letter. She found her favorite little black owl. Midnight come down please. Minerva handed the letter to the owl. "Be safe you cute little friend." She sighed. "You maybe my only friend right now." The owl left with her letter. She turned and walked away.

Janice walked up to the owlery, wanted to send her family a letter. She folded up some parchment with things that happened for the past month written all over it, from how Alyssa, Penny, Minnie, Jory, and herself won the Snowman Building competition until weird homeworks from teachers. She folded the letter and attached it to a school owl. Just before she said to the owl to send it, she took the parchment off and added something.

Yup, she thought, this is it. "Send it to Chris-- no, to May Trewhella, London." She corrected herself, knowing how much shock it would give her dad to receive an owl. The owl took off as Janice rummaged her pocket to find Egg.

Egg's colour is changing, into some shade of dirty grey. Janice tried to remember when she had last polished him, and gave up. "Excolo!" and Egg's colour went back to normal.

Maybe, she thought, maybe you're cold. "Argentum Callidus!" And by that she went down, back to the commonroom.

*sigh*
