HoM: Lesson Two Another History of Magic class meant more chances for students to lose points, more chaos, and perhaps even more apples. As you make your way toward the classroom you notice a note tacked onto the door. Inside the class the desks have been rearranged for the new year. Instead of the standard placement the desks have all be moved so that they formed a connecting semi-circle facing the board and Professor Scabior's desk. Alyssa walked into the classroom and greeted the Professor,"Good morning, Professor Scabior. It is good to see you again." But then she noticed that he wasn't standing where he usually was. Shrugging her shoulders, Alyssa turned around and noticed that the desks had been rearranged differently this time, and quickly took a seat on the left hand side of the semi-circle formation of desks facing the board. |
Minerva came into class. Alyssa was the only one there. "Hey Alyssa mind if I sit next to you today." Minerva read the note on the board. Hmm this was the first class the professor wasn't standing there waiting for them to come in. Oh well he will be there soon she was just hoping there would be no more apples this lesson. |
:claw: Harvey sat down and then saw that Alyssa and Minnie were there :claw: Text Cut: Alyssa & Minnie :claw: "Hi Alyssa, Hi Minnie. How are you both today?" Harvey asked smiling and waving at both puffs. :claw: |
Eino made his way to another History of Magic class. Hopefully, this time there wouldn't be any apple throwing or any sort of physical activity for that matter. What he liked the most about history was that it was calm and quiet, or at least it was supposed to be. Sometimes he enjoyed when all the activity going on was in his brain. He walked towards a seat, pulled a chair, and sat down. After taking out his materials from his backpack, he waited paintiently for the professor to arrive and class to begin. |
Orlando was early. He did not mind. He had gotten done with breakfast and all the other things pretty early this morning. It was possibly because he barely slept last night - stuff with Ryden and all .. Dragging his feet into the classroom, the boy got himself into one of the seats. Dumping his bag on the floor, he let his head hit the desk. Maybe a quick nap before the professor arrived? ... No .. not really. It wasn't comfortable enough. Orlando decided to just doze a little instead. |
trinity walk into the class room and took a seat hello Professer Scabior |
Kurumi walked into the classroom and immediately took notice of the door. I shall arrive shortly... Well, at least she didn't have to sit awkwardly in the man's presence just yet. Pushing open the door, Kurumi stopped when she saw that the classroom's layout had change - probably for the better. Sitting in the front row of this man's class had become suddenly less appealing. Not really caring where she sat in this new formation, Kurumi found a seat where a window was directly behind her, and set her things down. Here we go again. |
Another History of Magic Lesson, Caroline made her way to the classroom, History of Magic wasn't one of her favorite subjects but it wasn't one the that she couldn't stand either. It was just interesting to see all the things that happened in the past of the world that she grew up in. "Hello Professor." She said after entering the classroom. She walked toward the back of the room and took her seat. Gathering everything out of her bag and sitting it on her desk, she waited for class to start. She read the board. And laughed to herself. Really the was too bad that killing your classmates wasn't allowed. :shifty: Not like she would do that or anything it the first place. |

Louisa walked into the classroom with One problem though... she didn't like the professor because he was not as objective as she liked professional professors to be. Buuuut she figured she'd give him a chance. She wasn't in a place where she'd judge professors and whatnot. Determined to say 'hi', the girl's mouth stayed open for few seconds before she saw that Scabior was not here yet. Pheeeew. Good. Louisa skipped to a desk and flopped herself on the chair. |
Kourtney stepped into the classroom, at once noting that the professor was not present. Hmm, not a strange thing, she supposed, but she hoped that he would arrive soon. Their last History of Magic class was certainly...interesting, to say the least. Chaotic would probably be the better word. Yelling and running with apples certainly constituted such. She carefully set her bag down and took a seat in the semi-circle of chairs. |
Time for another History of Magic lesson! Vashti was very much looking forward to this class. It was always one of her favorites subjects, and even if the first lesson had been a little hectic and crazy at the end, she had still enjoyed it for the most part. So she entered the classroom cheerfully and, upon noticing the note, silently took a seat near a window. She set her bag on the ground and began pulling her notebook, textbook, and quill out of her bag and setting them on her desk. |
Ellie entered clutching her broomstick and her bag. The first thing she noticed was the arrangement. Obviously. It was discussion style. Which she wasn't too sure how she felt about. On one hand, she didn't want to talk at all. On the other, it meant the class just might not be incredibly boring. She chose a seat close to the door....and away from anyone already inside. |
Kennedy made his way to the History of Magic classroom. He yawned before opening the door when he noticed the note on it. Why would he say that killing students wasn't allowed. Wasn't that obvious? Or, was that another thing Kennedy hadn't been told of? People DID kill each other, or why else would he have written that? The fourteen year old stepped into the classroom and took a seat at the beginning of the semi-circle. His eyes studying the people around him. Vigilance, Escalante. Vigilance. |

A reprieve for the moment...but it did run the risk of students getting caught unaware. Nevertheless, Gideon entered the classroom, the Gryffindor looking around at the seating arrangement. He spotted a few familiar faces already there, namely Kurumi sitting by a window and debated sitting near her. They had been ackward at Muggle Studies class and he hoped that after he and Selina had talked things out it might return to normal. "Mind if I sit here," he asked with a smile approaching the desk she was at and the desk he was opting on taking. |
Victoria walked to the classroom, reading the note on the door...killing classmates is not allow? Wha-how-??-seriously, students' aren't that dumb. Or are they going to do something really dangerous in class today? Oooh...Victoria hoped so, it would be so exciting! "Good morning professor." greeted Victoria as she entered the room. Then, she found an empty seat in the pretty semi-circled desks and sat down. Victoria pulled out her textbook that they'll probably be needing, and some parchments and quills. Since History of Magic is one of those subjects that requires book work and rarely any spell works. |
Marilyn stepped into the History of Magic classroom, irritation settling over her face. Dang dance lesson. It was proof how out of shape the blonde really was. Her legs felt like jellu...or whatever that muggle dessert was. Finding a seat, she plopped down. "Hello, Professor." |
So, this class just...took on a whole new meaning of having fun while learning. Plus, it was healthy. Professor Scabior was yet like all the other professors who handed out disgusting chocolate and instead chose to do a lesson with healthy fruits. Now that put him on top of her favorites list. And that...that was the reason he was there. Of course. Nodding to herself as if to confirm so, Evelyn walked into the classroom and breathed out a happy sigh. Yes, she was happy to be there. Not so happy about the seating arrangements but, there was nothing she could do about that. Seeing as the Professor wasn't there though, the Slytherin girl sat down next to Marilyn. Yuuup. |
Jesifur walked in and saw the professor was not yet there. She shrugged and took a seat and waited patiently. |
Ashley walked into the room and quickly found a seat, not really feeling like lingering around deciding where to sit. Anywhere was good, so there was no point in that. He just sat in the first seat he'd come to as he walked in, and immediately pulled out his book, beginning to write on a sheet of parchment. |
Selina was finishing braiding her hair while she walked into the classroom. She had woken up late, as per usual, and found that she had no time to properly get ready that morning. The only thing she did have time for after her shower was barely brushing her hair. So she had to braid it on the way to class for fear of looking like a lunatic if she left it alone. Perhaps she should invest in an alarm clock, but she wasn't a morning person anyway. It most likely would not do any good. She tied the end of her braid and sat down in an empty set toward the middle of the room. Part of her was still waking up so sitting in the front was not an option. But since the Professor wasn't there yet... maybe she could just rest her eyes for a few minutes... yeah she could do that. |
William likes this class. |

"That's good to hear" Harvey said to Minnie, and then he left the two friends to chat to each other while he waited for the professor to arrive. He didnt want Minnie to feel suffocated again by spending every minute of everyday with him. So he kept his distance no matter how much he desired to sit with her. He sat there looking at the classroom and its layout while waiting. :claw: |
