Huh. Well...Professor Scabior shrugged. "Actually Mr. Montcenaggio I could care less if you guys used bad magic on each other." Bad magic? Dash didn't think there was such a thing. Maybe dark or banned magic. Hm.

She would hope none of her classmates wanted to kill her. She would be very offended if they did. "And like...you can go to prision. And they don't serve very nice food at prision. And it's cold. So yeah...killing people is not good...nor nice."
Oh. First years. Scabior held back a smirk. "Thats...a good point. Not where I was getting at but you are right about the prison food and temperature.

He blinked a few times before shaking his head. "No. Not at all. Remember Miss DeCour this is History of Magic." Not something like Defence Against the Dark Arts...really now.

Well...that was obvious. Scabior smirked. "Well that is true. But it's not what I was getting at." Good thing to point out though. Hm saving his own butt.

"Plus, that would clash with the Headmaster's advice 'don't die'." True, as well. But the REAL reason behind Scabior's note...he didn't know.

He shook his head. "No. Thankfully that has not happened." And it wouldn't happen. Not in his class a least.

He asked a question and Nikolas had something in mind about that. He raised his hand "Because of last activity in class?" he said. It had been fun but everyone got too excited it felt like World War 3 was beginning.
"No. I don't think apples can kill anyways." Well...they could but he didn't want to get into the technicalities of that.

She asked, raising her hand.
These two seemed to have the same thought running through their brains. Huh. The Professor shook his head but his smirk grew. "No it doesn't." He probably should say something about that..but...he didn't care anymore.

Scabior nodded slowly. She was..getting somewhere. Good, seeing as how Denver was a seventh year, and they were the ones who he expected to be more creative with their guesses. "It has something to do with the lesson..yes."

"Because..." she began as she raised her hand. "...killing goes against human nature and is a way to earn a one way ticket to Azkaban? Or...you don't want anyone creating a horcrux?" It was possible, out there, but possible.

Kurumi wouldn't put it past a few Slytherins to try and pounce on her.
Killing went against human nature? We'll..."Not entirely Miss Hollingberry. It actually goes against society's norms. It may very well be human nature to kill other humans." Of course..he was just making a point. "But no, that is not why I wrote that. And you children would not know how to creature a horcrux anyways." He rolled his eyes. No way was he worried about that

"Did you put it on the board to serve as a reminder that it doesn't do any good to physically harm another student, no matter how much you want to or how appropriate it may seem to you at the time?" Adam offered. Really he had no idea if it had something to do with History or not...
"No, that is not why Mr. Fitzgerald but good guess." Scabior nodded. It was a basic guess. Good. Made sense too.

"I ought to think that it is because students are very often forgetful, and small details such as that 'do not kill your classmates' may find a way out of their minds. Not that they would try to." The boy replied honestly and innocently. Eino was very forgetful, especially when it came to little, obvious details. Not that he tried to act them, that was also something that often escaped his mind. Plus, with so much information out there, how is anyone supposed to remember everything? Impossible task.
Once again, because of a students answer he was unable to respond in anything but blinks. Slowly Scabior shook his head before giving a hard stare at the Ravenclaw. "No Mr. Uronen but..please try not to forget that." He was..going to keep an eye on you now.

Because that was obvious, wasn't it? Surely no one here would seriously consider killing a fellow student in class. So it was probably something else.

Vashti thought about it for several seconds before raising her hand. "Does it have something to do with what we'll be learning in class, Professor?" she asked. "Maybe some time in history - before the Unforgivable Curses were made illegal? - students would try attacking and killing each other if left unattended by an adult?" She couldn't think of a particular time when that sort of would've happened, but it was possible. Maybe.
"Yes! It does have to do with what we'll be learning in class." He nodded. It had..little to do but it did have something to do with it. "That is a nice guess- but that is not why Miss Greenwell."

So the first question was given and Jonathan doesn't know why the killing of the classmate is part of history of magic but in the past there has been a lot of killing too, both in the first and second wizarding war. But WHY exactly has he put it there? Jonathan raised his hand to answer "It's against the law to kill someone." well it's true. You'll be put in Azkaban for that. "Maybe someone from the past tried to kill his classmate?" he added.
"It is against the law and it may have happened in the pass but that is not exactly where I am getting at." Not quite. Not really something that obvious.

------------------

Scabior looked around the classroom. MUCH better desk arrangement. "So I didn't actually expect any of you to guess why I really wrote that in the note." They weren't mind readers, so it was almost impossible for them to figure it out. "However it does have something to do with today's lesson, but it is not really about killing curses." This wasn't DADA. He didn't need to teach them all of that.

"I wrote that killing any of your classmates was not allowed not because all of you are physically able to use the killing curse." No. Because that too extreme anger...and skill. "But because all of you have the equipment too." He paused. "What do you think I mean by that" This question should be easier to answer.

EDIT: OOC: Alright guys! Taking a break. Class will continue again tomorrow at around 4pm EST. Try not to be too chatty please! Also no editing posts.
