Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

Making his way past the massive crowd of second years, Christopher wandered over to the plump scarlet couches, a large stack of books with him. As usual. He was more comfortable reading than with talking to the other lions he didn't know too well, but for some reason, he was growing a bit restless with his books- something that hadn't ever happened before. It almost frightened him, if it hadn't been for the fact that he had a suspicion of what it was.
He wasn't trying to start a pity party or anything, certainly not, but the fourteen year old, almost fifteen now, lacked a lot of friends. That had never bothered him before, because he was always just shy, but he was starting to realize that there weren't many people he could talk to, especially now that he and Violet had been broken up for six months. He really only had Selina, and she was his sister. He also lacked guy friends, which bothered him too. He was so painful antisocial!
But it was his own fault, as he shoved his nose back into the books and blocked out just about everyone around him.

Blinking a few times, Chrisotpher was a little taken back by Adam's question. It was very brave and forward of him, and a little shocking, but it was definitely not a bad thing. With a light laugh and an accepting smile, he replied, "Y-yeah! Sure, I'd love to be your friend! Quite frankly, I could use a friend myself right now." It was so strange, sometimes, how people could become friends. With him and Selina, it was a train compartment. For him and Adam, it was a rowdy common room and a shaky voice. "I hope you don't mind my asking, mate, but what happened between you all? I haven't really ever kept up on the affairs of others, but the entire school seems to know about your personal problems in the social category. Or at least that you have them anyway." Great, Christopher. Making him feel worse is exactly what a new friend should do. Merlin, they were awkward. Adam was quite surprised once again.He thought Chris would've taken more time to think through it.Assuming Selina might've informed Christopher on some of the news about her an Adam,but it seemed not as he seemed to jump right at the prospect of having at least one guy friend. "Me too..I need a good friend.Hopefully,this year I can get to know you a lot better."
He then cringed at the thought of having to possibly tell Christopher what had happened.Adam was sure but at the same time not sure of himself.Kurumi had just told him minutes ago that there was no them in the way Adam wanted there to be,it was just Adam.An Kurumi. No Adam an Kurumi.Just two people. Separate.Just thinking about telling him made Adam feel worse an made him only dwell deeper into it.
"I'm sorry.But I'm already in too much doo doo so I don't want to make things worse by telling you..Sorry.Besides,like you said you don't really catch up on people's private affairs,an this is very private.I don't need more people knowing."
He hoped Christopher could understand.It's not that he didn't want to tell him-well some of it was-but just in the future.For now everything was too fragile to talk about it anymore.

Christopher nodded. "Of course, mate. I understand completely. Sometimes things need to be kept private and not broadcasted to the whole world." He really did understand what that was like, confinding in someone when you didn't necessarily want to, and then have them hold it over your head later. Sometimes it was just better to mind your own business. *CoughSelinaCough*
Trying to think of a better topic that would actually not cause their newfound friendship to fail, Christopher pondered things he knew Adam had done while he was still here as a third year. The first thing that came to mind was Quidditch, and since he figured nothing else that good would come, he blurted out, "So, are you still playing Quidditch often?" As far as he knew, Adam wasn't on the team anymore, but he couldn't be sure, since he'd only actually been to one game that year, and that was the first game, to support his little sister.
