Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

Merlin, Adam needed to read more, or at least get caught up on everything he had missed during his year away. " If everyone shared the same life goal then life would be pretty boring." She giggled, pushing a strand of her long black hair behind her ear and brushing her bangs a little to the side. " It certainly isn't my life goal to work in an office in the Ministry. Like I said, I might go to university first. Specialize in Magizoology before I apply for a job at the Ministry. I'd really like to become a professor some day though. Perhaps even come back to work at Hogwarts."
Kurumi didn't put her bag down, but she did fold her arms across her chest to look at him. " Well, it sure took you long enough," she laughed. And this is why they hadn't worked out. Looking back, Kurumi felt taken advantage of. Like she had been the one putting in all the effort and not getting to much in return. " No, you're not. And I think you know the other reasons that make that so." Not just about studying and tests, but much more personal matters.

Rose stumbled into the common room, in a right state, her eyes red, her body shaking. She had yet to find her sister. Violet had gone, again, none of her friends could find her. Rose collapsed in a chair and sniffed, trying not to cry again.

'Don't worry... He'll forgive you...' she reassured her. He would, he needed friends, everyone did.
