Alex was smiling at Rose when William came up to them and her smile dropped and she turned to look out the window. Hugging her knees with her chin resting on them, a small tear running down her cheek. 'I was so stupid' she thought. 'He talked to me about it in private for a reason.' Alex then got up and headed for the dorm without a word.
