I have enough Amy repeated. She wouldn't want too many, it always seemed to her that people with a gazillion friends were always the two faced or fake ones. And Amy tried not to be that. Tried, though she admitted she did speak about people behind their back. To a degree, it was fun...though she shouldn't of said that. But you will get friends, just talk to a few more people and you'll be fine she nodded knowingly, in my second year I barely talked to anyone, but now I have a nice group of friends, she shrugged, you'll meet them, because they are here.
And potential boyfriend/girlfriends for them both...that was the one thing no one looked at her as, girlfriend material, and she didn't mind. Much, but she enjoyed just being friends with people. It was so much easier.
Really? Amy asked, raising an eyebrow. She wasn't going to tell him that just 20 minutes ago, she and Sammy had been running through all of the Chicago songs in their dorm at the top of their voice. That was just too weird. Maybe I've got quieter she shrugged
Though it wasn't true...
"Well, what I mean is you're not in your face loud." He said whimsically. "You get what you're saying across but you don't actually punch people for their attention." He told her, trying to hide the resent in his voice. He closed his eyes then smiled mildly.
He wasn't too sure if she was right about his destined friends etc but maybe there was someone else who, well, wasn't going to hate him on the spot.
Dude. The Pensevies aint got nothing on you. Aslan is the God
.....YEAH. She didn't punch people. Nooooo.
No.
Well..
Amy grinned at him, though she could feel and hear he wasn't quite so happy, whats wrong? she pouted. She didn't like him feeling pooed. She didn't like anyone feeling pooed, but Jack had definatley had it worst

Okay good, Brooklyn was going to call her Skids and that was what she wanted. Good, good. "Maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure, but then again this is just the first couple days of school so we'll probably meet some more along the way. Probably in classes as well." Jade nodded, watching as a couple of first years walked on by. She wondered how it would be to come here to Hogwarts as a first year. Probably weird or something, seeming as she probably would be shorter and her intellectual skills would be worse. Eh, it might have been cool though.
"Hmm, so what year are you in?" She asked, wondering if the girl was in the same year. That would be pretty cool as well. Yup, pretty cool. It was bit strange to be talking to this girl, seeming as they almost seemed complete opposites but strangely the same. Weird.
Brooklyn shrugged at the other girl's words. She was right, or so Brooke thought. "Yeahh. We'll probably see each other more eventually. Probably in the common room, or classes, like you said." Maybe they could even partner up in classes. Or something. Of course.. That was.. if Paulie wasn't there. Who had been bumped to her best friend since she hadn't seen Bailey or Nick since Diagon Alley. Which totally sucked.
He eyes drifted as she heard footsteps, following Skids' gaze to the first years passing by. She gave them a friendly grin before returning her attention to Skids.
"Fifth year." she stated simply. "And yourself?" It was only polite to return a question with a question after answering the first. Or at least that's what her mother always told her. Deciding she didn't want to stand anymore, and after feeling a bit awkward as she talked down to the girl, Brooke took a seat beside Skids to continue their conversation. "Do you like sports?"

Paulie? Daphne restrained herself from giving a snort. Seriously..that would be rude. But.. wasn't Paulie a girl's name? She'd heard of Paul, of course but Paulie? That was a first. "Nice to meet you, too..Paulie. That's an..interesting name."
Daphne looked surprised when he said that he was new. Awesome. She was glad that she got to meet another transfer. "Oh. Well, I'm new as well. I transferred from Beauxbatons.."
Snort? Was that a snort she gave? Paulie eyed this Daphne girl. "Uh, yeah, thanks. What's so funny?" And she better not say 'nothing' 'cause he wanted to know! It must have stemmed from something to do with his name, thought he wasn't sure what. Paulie wasn't abnormal.
AND she was from Beauxbatons? "No way - me too," he said with a sudden smile. It was actually kind of strange how many Beauxbatons kids had transferred to Hogwarts this term. His hands found his pockets and he bobbed his head a bit. "So, what house did you get into, then?"

She smiled faintly. "Yeah, hopefully I don't stress myself out too much to not finish. I tend to do that sometimes." she admitted, with a small shrug of her shoulders
"Well, I know the kitchens are near the Hufflepuff common room," said Zayden, "and my girlfriend is Hufflepuff soooo..." He trailed off so the Ravenclaw could put two and two together before he continued, "I can just ask her to show me where it is." Whoo for connections! If he DIDN'T already know someone that went to this school, he'd be hopeless when it came to finding his way around.
Which brought him to a very good thought out conclusion: HE, Zayden Jesse Abrams, needed a map.
"Awesome!" That made the Slytherin happy! "If possible, have him make it out for Zayden. That's zee - eee - whyy - deee - eee - nnn." Just in case she didn't know how to spell his name; he wasn't really sure IF there were other ways to spell it.
"I hope you don't either." Because then he'd lose a friend... if he was considering Danae as a friend already. Either way, he'd lose one of the few people he knew! "Have you went to another school before?"

It was a perfectly nice day outside. Which made complete sense as to why Everett was roaming the castle. Many students were outside enjoying the last of the warm weather, so he had to remember where everything was at Hogwarts.
Walking through the fourth floor he stopped in his tracks once he came across a girl and a boy. "OYE! You there!" He yelled after the boy, marching right up toward him. "WHAT do you think you are doing?!?"

Danae raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "We've only been at school for a short time, and you have a girlfriend?" she wasn't trying to judge him or anything, it just seemed fast. Danae was the sort where she liked to be wooed, and she was a tough critic to the wooing.
"The boy that I will love for the rest of eternity like is in Hufflepuff." the fifth year admitted, blushing furiously and looking away from Zayden, perhaps too much information for a guy, they didn't always care about those sort of things.
She thought about his spelling of his name for awhile, remembering it for later on when she wrote her letter to her brother. "Got it." she confirmed, looking back down at him.
"I've lived in Cote d'Ivoire all my life basically. Minus summers in France." Put those two together and she was pretty fluent in the language, and would sometimes do her notes in French. "There was a wizarding school there, not as large as Hogwarts, but it was home."
Amy grinned at him, though she could feel and hear he wasn't quite so happy, whats wrong? she pouted. She didn't like him feeling pooed. She didn't like anyone feeling pooed, but Jack had definatley had it worst
Jack pulled a grin, but he knew Amy could see right through it. He sighed, and shrugged. "Tired." He said, though he wasn't actually tired at all. He felt almost afraid of going to sleep in case he woke up back in his cold creaky bed back in Galway with the smell of stale bread wafting through the floorboards from the café below.
"Want to go somewhere else?" He asked, looking around at the high shelves.

Paulie blinked and waited for her to explain. And once she finally did, he gave a single, short laugh. "A girl's name? I've never heard of Paulie being a girl's name. My given name is Paul, but I only go by Paulie." He nodded, then added. "Although, I think you might be thinkin' of 'Polly,' which is a girl's name." Paulie and Polly did sound quite similar, though, he had to admit. He stifled another laugh.
"Uh huh," Paulie nodded. The boy did indeed hail from good old Beauxbatons. Maybe the 'good old' part was a stretch. He smiled faintly when he could tell that she clearly didn't remember him. And, honestly, he hadn't expected her to. "Aah, Hufflepuff?" He smirked, thinking of how Tori apparently did not like 'Puffs. "Yep, I'm in Gryffindor. I guess the robes gave it away."

Oh. Right. It was Pa-u-lie and not Po-lly. "I'm sorry. Yeah, I assumed it was 'Polly'.." Daphne grinned before she continued, "If you don't mind, I'd rather just call you Paul." Yeah, well. She would probably end of laughing everytime she said Polly..or rather Paulie.
"So..um..why did you move out here?" Daphne wasn't sure if that was too personal a queston or not. Ah, well. If he didn't want to answer, he would just tell her that...right? Daphne raised an eyebrow at his smirk. "You don't like the Hufflepuffs, eh?" There seemed to be many around who didn't seem to like the Badgers at all. Yeah, they were jealous.

Paulie shook his head and gave her an assuring smile. "Nah, it's fine. I thought it was funny." And there was always room for a good laugh, right? Righto. He pushed his lips to the side when she admitted that she'd rather call him 'Paul.' "Actually... I don't wanna sound like a jerk, but I really do prefer Paulie." And if she asked why, he would give her the abridged version. Much abridged. "Or, ya know, I really don't mind pretty girls callin' me sweetheart, or honey, or even hottie pants." Pfft. No one called him these, the little chiseler. And so, he gave a grin and shook his head for the second time. "I'm only kidding."
"I actually didn't really change location," the fifth year answered. "I just changed schools." Paulie had always wanted to go to Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons, and here he finally was, a little late, yes, but here nonetheless. He smiled. "I like Hufflepuffs just fine. I just have a friend who doesn't like them." Only because one particular Puff had left a bad taste in her mouth for the rest of them. Quite unfair.

He didn't hex her. That's good. Daphne felt a little relieved. No Paul? Eeep. She could feel a smile tugging the corners of her lips. "Well, okay..Paulie." o_O She really didn't want to call him Paulie..it was just so girly. SNORT. "Is there a particular reason why you don't want me to call you Paul?" Huh. What!? Pretty? "You think I'm pretty?" Daphne asked, with an eyebrow raised. "Wow, that's a first, I guess." Grin. "Okay. I'm definitely not calling you hottie pants. That would be totally weird."
"Oh. So, do you miss Beauxbatons?" Daphne moved a little to the side and leaned against the wall. "Well..I thought I'd be a Gryffindor but..I'm happy being a Hufflepuff. I love yellow as well..so it works out just fine for me." Daphne ran a hand through her hair.

He wouldn't admit it out loud but blushing always mad girls ever cuter, even for Danae. Amelia got EVEN cuter when she blushed, heh. "What's the boy's name?" Maybe his sisters would know him or his girlfriend.
"Coteyyy I d'voire?" He had SUCH a hard time trying to pronounce that. Yeah, he was just going to leave that kind of pronunciation to people that could actually pronounce without making a fool of themselves. "Ahh, that's interesting. Do you like Hogwarts or do you miss your old school?"

"Do you children have to be told everything?" Wait, never mind. They probably did. Everett sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "It's alright. It's alright." He murmured to himself. He moved his hand from his face and pointed to the boys shoes. "This is the fourth floor. And as of right now, I'm setting a new rule for it." He said loudly, so EVERYONE in the hall could hear him.
Everett took out his wand and tapped it against the wall making a giant sign appear.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS There seems to be some issue with some shoes becoming permanently stuck in this corridor. As such, from this moment on, it is a rule that students are not allowed to wear shoes on the fourth floor corridor.
Socks are welcome. But shoes are not.

Shooooosh Amy grinned, putting a finger to his lips, I can tell you're lying, and not just because your face is bag free. Unlike hers. Though generally that was because she was doing homework till midnight each night.
Go on then she noddded, shrugging and adjusting her stachel on her shoulder

Que?
Okay then, Amy didn't get that one bit, no shoes but socks? Oddness. But last time she'd argued with a professor she'd ended up losing points and she didn't want to do that again. So, shrugging she pulled her brouges off, cursing because they'd take forever to lace back on, and began to meander down the corridor with Jack

Cora walked tentatively through the corridor. So far she hadn't seen anyone she knew since she was on the Hogwarts Express, though she thought she had seen Elliot in one of her classes.
Cora wandered about, lost in thought, and hadn't really even realized exactly where she was or why she was here. When she looked up from the book she had been reading, she gasped slightly as she realized she had no clue where she was. She stopped walking and looked around, twirling her brown hair nervously.

Elliot meandered down the fourth floor corridor, trying to find the library. She peered down the hallway, and to her delight, saw a very familiar face. Or rather, back. She walked swiftly up behind her, and let out a tiny cry.
"Cora! I can't believe I haven't seen you yet!" she exclaimed, forcing a huge smile onto her face. "All these classes, and I haven't spoken to you once!"
Elliot was quite fond of Cora. She was overly nice, and very shy, but Elliot had no reason to dislike her. She then spotted the sign saying that shoes weren't allowed on this floor..? what? She scowled, peering down at her feet.
"Apparently shoes are forbidden on this floor..." she muttered, and bent down to untie them. Rolling her eyes, she flinched as she stood up, wringling her toes in their black socks. Ew. Walking around without shoes on? What if someone had extremely smelly feet? That would be so gross.

"Apparently shoes are forbidden on this floor..." she muttered, and bent down to untie them. Rolling her eyes, she flinched as she stood up, wringling her toes in their black socks. Ew. Walking around without shoes on? What if someone had extremely smelly feet? That would be so gross.
Just when Cora thought she would be stuck here-wherever here was-forever, a familiar voice could be heard behind her. Cora quickly turned around and saw that it was indeed Elliot, and she smiled.
"Elliot! I simply cannot believe that I haven't seen you since the Hogwarts Express!" Cora was very relieved to see her friend. "And we're both in Ravenclaw, too!." Cora was so excited that she had a friend in her house.
Cora looked at Elliot curiously as she took off her shoes. Cora hadn't even seen the sign practically directly in front of her. That was one thing about Cora. She never noticed the painfully obvious, but noticed things no one probably did.
"How are you liking classes so far?" Cora asked happily.

Tyler?..no it couldn't be, but obviously it had to be because it was the corridor of bad luck. She rolled her eyes a little at his joke. This wasn't the time to be joking. This was serious, it really was. "This isn't funny" she said as she could see he was about to burst into laughter. "I can't get up" she said.
She decided to try and get up again.Third time was supposed to be a charm Right? Okay I can do this. she tried to tell herself. Once more she tried using all her strength but still she was not sucessful. She looked up at Tyler hoping he would do something to help her.
Tyler stood staring down at the tangled figure on the floor, okay it was funny seeing somebody in a random mess on the floor but it was even funnier when it was a friend. He tried to force all humerous thoughts into the back of his head, now was the time to be heroic and actually be helpful in this situation. Well, he was being helpful wasn't he? His hand still hovered over Nessie, either she was too annoyed to take it or she couldn't see him, he hoped on the second.
'Yeah, you're right it's not funny' Tyler manage through controlled laughter. He wriggles his long pale fingers about in attempt to grab Nessie's attention but apparently that wasn't working. He knelt down beside her, hand still hovering. 'Look, do you want to be saved from the evil cold floor or not? I hear it wants to take over the world' I added a nod awaiting his reply.

"It really isn't" Tyler didn't seem to be taking her seriously. Why couldn't he use his jokes another time. Could he not see she was injured on floor and there were people starting to walk across the corridor. This was an Emergency and she needed to get up somehow, but she couldn't her foot didn't let her. "I can't get up!" she repeated getting annoyed with Tyler now.
There were more and more students arriving there was even a Professor coming. "Ty please help me get up?" she pleaded looking at him then back at the other people in the Corridor.

Any students found disobeying this rule will be severely punished.
As she watched the other people in the corridor Nessie noticed a Professor put up some writing onto the wall. It said something about not making shoes. She looked at her foot and noticed that her shoe was half off. So she didn't trip on fresh air she ended up triping on her shoe that was somehow stuck to the corridor floor. She just wished the Professor would have put the sign up earlier "Look Tyler" she said pointing at the sign and then at her foot. "Thats probably how I tripped.."
She stayed on the floor. Her foot was still in agony it felt like she may have broken it and Tyler was obviously too blonde to realise why she couldn't get up. "Ty I think I broke my foot" Maybe he would use his sense and tell somone like the Professor.

Tyler glared down at her, okay the fact that he was trying to help her must have sunk into her head yet, he pulled his arm from over her, placed the palms of his hands on the floor by his sides and crossed his legs. Waiting.
'Maybe if you weren't so stuck in the floor you'd see I have been helping you, trying, and you ignored' he said. 'Maybe if we just lay in the middle of the corridor... A magical moose will come along and save us all' he said, leaning farther into the cold floor. He didn't pay any attention as soon as he heard the voice of a professor? Who ever the were he didn't care, he'd learnt to tuned out the voices of professors by now, pretty cool trick, eh?
He was oblivious to Nessie's pain as hus mind drifted off into a land full of zombies and him, beating them all up. Must like it did in classes. And he wondered why he was failing every class? Once his brain had come back to the situation at hand (kind of) he realized ge better help the squealing girl on the floor for a second time. 'Promise after this we can not go on floors again unless there's pillows and candy' he said holding his hand out above the mess that was Nessie. 'Grab my hand you cheese stick or youll be in thr hispital wing before you know it' he said.

What was he doing. Horrified Nessie watched as Tyler put his arm over her. What was he trying to do. He wasn't going to carry her. She wouldn't let him not a chance that would just be too..wierd. "What are you trying to do?" she asked him.
"I've told you for the a millionth time my foot isn't letting me move I think I broke it." Was Tyler deaf or something. Didn't he get it by now. She couldn't get up. She attempted to get up again but no luck. She lay her head onto the floor. She might as well have made herself comfortbale if she couldn't get up. "Ty..maybe go get help.." she was serious but he didn't get that he was just about his jokes.
Why couldn't Tyler just get what she was saying. "TY MY FOOT IS SORE WHAT DON"T YOU GET!" she was now shouting..maybe if she spoke louder it would help. "Do you want me to talk in Chinese?" she asked because he obviously didn't understand her English. The Hospital wing, didn't she need to go there in anyway. She gave Tyler her hand. "I think you need to take me there in anycase..my foot is broken you dumbo"

Elliot, smirking, shook her head as well. "Me neither. Absolutely preposterous...the school is just so big, I guess."
She then saw the blue and the emblem on Cora's robes and glanced at her own. She put on a fake smile(smirk) and nodded. "Yep...how exciting...both of us, Ravenclaws," she said with a little more enthusiasm than she felt. A lot more enthusiasm, actually. She was still getting used to her house, and getting over the shock of it all. She then sent a real smile Cora's way. "I always imagined you a Gryffindor," she told the girl truthfully. Or a Huffle. But she didn't say that aloud, since being a duffer probably wasn't a compliment. She couldn't really see her a Ravenclaw, but then again, neither could she see herself in Ravenclaw.
"Classes? Fast paced, and I love it. I would hate to be all bored and such. Very interesting. I really like charms so far, and I couldn't tell why," Which was true. They hadn't really done anything in class, nor had the teacher been exceptionally amazing...but Elliot was drawn to it.
She stared down again at her wriggling toes in the socks, a look of dislike etched into her face.

A gryffindor? Really? Cora was shocked. Truthfully she had always wanted to be a Gryffindor, but she knew her chances of that were slim when she could barely even say hello to someone she just met. Cora knew Elliot was most likely just being nice, but that comment still gave Cora a confidence boost. She smiled.
Cora thought about her classes. She didn't quite think she belonged in defense against the dark arts, but it was a required class. The others were okay. "I like Charms, too, so far. I would have said Herbology is my favorite so far, but I had a rather interesting and not so happy experience with pixies the other day. I just sort of froze up. But I will redeem myself next time. Definitely." Cora was a bit embarrassed about that class.
