Paulie and Polly did sound quite similar, though, he had to admit. He stifled another laugh.
"Uh huh," Paulie nodded. The boy did indeed hail from good old Beauxbatons. Maybe the 'good old' part was a stretch. He smiled faintly when he could tell that she clearly didn't remember him. And, honestly, he hadn't expected her to. "Aah, Hufflepuff?" He smirked, thinking of how Tori apparently did not like 'Puffs. "Yep, I'm in Gryffindor. I guess the robes gave it away."
Oh. Right. It was Pa-u-lie and not Po-lly.
"I'm sorry. Yeah, I assumed it was 'Polly'.." Daphne grinned before she continued,
"If you don't mind, I'd rather just call you Paul." Yeah, well. She would probably end of laughing everytime she said Polly..or rather Paulie.
"So..um..why did you move out here?" Daphne wasn't sure if that was too personal a queston or not. Ah, well. If he didn't want to answer, he would just tell her that...right? Daphne raised an eyebrow at his smirk.
"You don't like the Hufflepuffs, eh?" There seemed to be many around who didn't seem to like the Badgers at all. Yeah, they were jealous.
