"Elliot! I simply cannot believe that I haven't seen you since the Hogwarts Express!" Cora was very relieved to see her friend. "And we're both in Ravenclaw, too!." Cora was so excited that she had a friend in her house.
Cora looked at Elliot curiously as she took off her shoes. Cora hadn't even seen the sign practically directly in front of her. That was one thing about Cora. She never noticed the painfully obvious, but noticed things no one probably did.
"How are you liking classes so far?" Cora asked happily.
Elliot, smirking, shook her head as well.
"Me neither. Absolutely preposterous...the school is just so big, I guess."
She then saw the blue and the emblem on Cora's robes and glanced at her own. She put on a fake smile(smirk) and nodded.
"Yep...how exciting...both of us, Ravenclaws," she said with a little more enthusiasm than she felt. A lot more enthusiasm, actually. She was still getting used to her house, and getting over the shock of it all. She then sent a
real smile Cora's way.
"I always imagined you a Gryffindor," she told the girl truthfully. Or a Huffle. But she didn't say
that aloud, since being a duffer probably wasn't a compliment. She couldn't really see her a Ravenclaw, but then again, neither could she see herself in Ravenclaw.
"Classes? Fast paced, and I love it. I would hate to be all bored and such. Very interesting. I really like charms so far, and I couldn't tell why," Which was true. They hadn't really done anything in class, nor had the teacher been exceptionally amazing...but Elliot was drawn to it.
She stared down again at her wriggling toes in the socks, a look of dislike etched into her face.
