On the wintery and snowy white grounds a big purple marquee has been set up by the prefect’s right next to the frozen Lake with the assistance of Groundskeeper Stryker. Inside the marquee you will find a hundred small tables set to show different historical periods from ages past. You will see tables with typical Victorian, Renaissance, Medieval, Edwardian, Early 20th Century and Tudor furniture. Over each table small, glittery, pretty lights are hanging. On the tables there are also some candles if you’d prefer a more romantic touch. To keep the marquee heated and warm, small charmed heating cauldrons have been put up all around the marquee to keep everyone warm and comfy. By the left wall long food tables have been put up to allow people to fetch what food that strikes their fancy on this magical costume party night. In the center of the big marquee there is a big floor space which can be used for socializing, dancing or just moving around to meet other students. Against the back wall some way from the food tables a top table has been set up for the prefects and attending professor’s benefit. It is also from there that the costume competition will be run.
Ed sat down and eyed the depressed girl suspiciously for a moment. Why was she being nice? But, he wasn't one to decline a seat, not when there aren't a lot available seats.
"Have you seen Heather?" He couldn't help but ask..
Cass shook her head. "No, I haven't seen her since last week." She said, then she turned to him and asked while raising her eyebrow "I thought you knew where she was? You guys are in the same house."
*headdesk* Hai Mary! *pokes Cinn* that's what happens when I'm 1/2 asleep XD
SPOILER!!: Marie

Who was she wanting to see? She had told him she had a boyfriend right? Surly he must have known that was who she wanted to see. "I was hoping to see James... my boyfriend. He said he might come but I haven't seen him yet" There, now he knew. "And of course you too. Although I do have to admit I didn't think you would really show up." Seeing as how Jimmy wasn't here yet and all her friends... including Destiny seemed to be busy with...
And then she seen him. Just the person she had been looking for. A huge smile crossed her face seeing Jimmy walk across the room. "Um sorry Matty but Jimmy's here now. I'm gonna go talk to him for a bit. I'll see you later okay." She got up and started to head over to where James was standing. She felt sorta bad for leaving him there but he wasn't alone, There was that other girl there now, even if she was younger. At least he had someone to talk to.
Coming up behind him Marie slipped her arm around James' waist. "Hey there handsome. Glad you could make it." She then looked him up and down taking in his costume. "Nice outfit." She said giving him a little wink. Mmhmm, he did look good no matter what he was wearing.
She then looked over at the others sitting at the table. "Hello Ivan. How are you?" She then smiled at the girl sitting there. She was sure she had seen her in the Slytherin common room before. She just didn't know her name. "Hello, how are you?"
Watching as someone wrapped her arm around James' waist, TJ looked up at whom it was. The girl looked familiar, and she did recognize her as a slytherin, but she didn't think she'd met her officially yet. "Hi, just fine. Yourself? I'm TJ by the way."

"It'd be cooler if it was a lion instead of an eagle." He would have hung onto it longer for sure. Jimmy looked at the girl and smiled at her, perfectly friendly of course. That wasn't a glint of mischief in his eyes at all. It wasn't.
Okay it was, but he was trying to be all behaved and junk.
"Well hey TJ, nice to meet ya." He looked at Ivan again.
"You want to dance with me?" Jim batted his eyelashes at Ivan like an idiot and then laughed. Heh. "As long as I lead."
Having not expected to be snuck up on, Jim jumped a bit and narrowly avoided accidentally elbowing Marie in the face. "Oh. Hey Marie..." He eyed her dress. It was nice and all but... you know, he liked a little less fabric to deal with. That thing didn't look comfortable at all. "You look the part today." Yep. She did. And she did look good and all. Pretty as always.
He sat down though, a liiiittle too fast so that he cringed a bit.
Ouch. Bruises.
Lion? Hmmm, Gryffindor at heart? she wondered. Snickering when James batted his eyelashes and asked Ivan if he wanted dance, she grinned figuring this would certainly be fun to watch. "Nice to meet you as well."

Turning his attention to James he scoffed, "What are we married now?" Wasn't that what married people said? He was sure he'd heard Miles' parents say something to that extent at some point. Then he made a comment about a lion instead and he frowned pointedly and glanced at James. "No the eagle is better," he said stiffly. His friend knew better than that.... "Though a snake would have been cool," he said with a smirk and a glance at Marie as she walked up and wrapped her arm around James.
Raising an eyebrow he raised his hands and started pulling off his gloves as he scoffed again, "Please, you don't know how to lead. With the beating you got I'm surprised you can move at all. He smiled at Marie and nodded, "I'm splendid and you?"
Her eyebrow lifting even more as he showed her his shoes, alrighty then. she thought. Well then perhaps he does know to get the good shoes. It was all about class then comfort in her eyes. Shoes said a lot about a person.
"Snakes are all nice and all, but somehow a claw of sorts would be a neat look on it." She wasn't sure she wanted to get into that conversation, but thought she'd give her opinion. If she could talk her father into letting her put a design on the handle part of her wand she would have a claw, perhaps from a hippogriff.
Snickering even more she shook her head, those two dancing certainly might be interesting to watch.
Having his very own co-prefect as a date wasn't that bad a choice at all. Well, Wesley looked great. Everyone looked impeccably great. Of course, there were people who were sporting of odd sort of costumes but still, they were just as fetching. Chin up, right hand being rightfully held by his date, Cedric was all smiles and twinkly eyes as he arrived, fashionably late of course, at the party.
Cedric contemplated the entire area as much as his wandering eyes could behold--everything looked magnificent! Cedric cocked his head to Wesley, gave her a complaisant smile and said, "Look, this is all our hard work."
His dark eyes wandered yet again on its own accord and soon landed on what seemed to be the Prefects table. Well, there were Ivory and the others already. But on a side note, recognizing the other prefects at first wasn't a piece of cake or to him anyway. Cedric deliberately made his way to their table, giving everyone he knew a smile along the way, and in a moment he had reached his desired place already, with Wesley, of course. "Hey Ivory."Blink. "You look great."
Smiling happily as she approached her fellow prefects, Ivory gave a little wave to all those who were already already. "Hello gentlefolk!" With a giggle, she tiptoed a bit to overlook all the other tables. "This turned out amazing!"
Her head turned almost automatically as two people arrived. Her smile widening as she recognized who they were, she gave them a little curtsy. "Why thank you." Giving them the once over, she lifted her hands for a double thumbs up. "Right back at you. Might I say you guys look smashing." And they did, they even looked really cute together!
Lucy in her lovely pink dress entered the party, she was a bit nervous. She looked around to see her friends if they were there present, but then she was nervous enough even to look around.
She looked for some place to sit, but that was hard as there were already so many people in the hall. The prefects have thrown a lovely party she thought. Then after a hard search she got a empty seat. She tried to get there as soon a possible with her heavy dress and finally reached and sat there dirking some juice.

Helena decided to wander around the grounds for a little bit. The prefects had done an amazing job with the party!
Looking around, she spotted Lucy, her Divination partner. "Lucy! It's a long time since we last met. Do you mind if I join you?" She asked, her mouth twitching into a large smile.
Iris smiled at the professor. "Why thank you." Hmm. Maybe her costume wasn't too bad, then... Simple could be good?
As the professor nodded, Iris set her cup down on the table and sat in the seat she indicated to. She listened to the woman as she spoke, then smiled shyly. "Oh... Thanks. I'm really glad you think so!" The prefect beamed a little with pride. Okay... a lot. But she had every reason to! A lot of hard work went into this party. "There's so many brilliant costumes here. I'm really impressed with the effort everyone's gone to." Y'know... other than the kid that clearly did no research into anything about English History...
Isabelle eyed the drink Iris had in her cup, suddenly wishing she had visited the food and drinks table before sitting down. It would seem awfully rude to get up now, especially when they were in the middle of chatting. But then her eyes moved from the cup up to the girls face. Smiling at the obvious shyness, Issy nodded to re-enforce her earlier comment. "You're welcome, and I do. Everything is so pretty." In fact she was keeping her eye on those sleigh rides. That would have to be tested out later, for sure.
"Yes - the costumes are quite imaginative. Most people like a chance to dress up, I'm sure," Issy winked, folding her hands in her lap and taking another look around. And shopping for said costumes was just as much fun.

Some British people are historic? Was the girl saying that they were old? Or....heh, Issy wasn't entirely sure, but she could tell the girl was happy. "Well it is a tea party, I suppose. So you're not completely out of place," she chuckled.
Although tipping her over was just no fun. Unless - "Maybe they meant like in the song you were singing?" Isabelle suggested that, trying to put a positive spin on things. She hadn't overheard what the people had said, so couldn't say for sure.

"I'm glad, Hugo." He was always so...chipper. Her hair? Ohh yes! She nearly forgotten about that. Being so used to having dark hair, Issy and blonde was just a strange mix. To her anyway. "I did, yes. Thought it would go nicely with my costume. A bit different, wouldn't you say?" And strange. Especially when pieces fell down into her eyes and she saw the colour.
Sebastian was running a bit late due to the fact of the itchiness of his costume. While he was walking down to the tea party, he ended up taking off his hat, and running down towards the tea party. He hated being late and he never was late. Never. Well unless...no, he wouldn't go there. He ran down to the tea party and finally caught a glimpse of Sophie as he was running.
Seb finally caught up to her and smiled, holding out a hand for her to take. "You look stunning, m'lady." He said, kissing the top of her hand as he bowed down. He stood back up and held out his arm for her to take. "Ready to go?" He asked. Yes, he was going to take this very seriously.
--Not!
Sophie looked longingly over at the purple marquee hearing the chatter and laughter emanating from it. Shivering slightly in the cold winter air she wondered where her date could have gotten off to. Sebastian wasn’t usually late. Maybe he had trouble with his costume? Moving about on the spot to keep the little warmth she had Sophie glanced back at the castle doors each time she heard them open or shut.
Every time she thought it was Sebastian but it hadn’t been. The brunette was seriously considering to go ahead to the ball when her brown haired, sixth year lion date/boyfriend showed up clad in a very British and historically correct costume. Beaming at him she said in her most ladylike tone "Why thank you lord Sebastian. You don’t look too bad yourself, very elegant!" Sophie greeted him with a little curtsy before placing her hand on his arm. "I’m ready. Lead the way my lord." If they were going to be acting like proper ladies and lords then she was going to play her part.
Renée couldn't help but grin at the first words out of Jared's mouth as she'd continued the glove argument. "Thank you," she said with a light laugh, before tilting her head slightly to one side to regard his response to her calling him out on the glove wearing in general, still smiling. "Ah. Of course, along with the proper wearing of gloves, Victorian gentlemen also didn't wear watches. I should give you points for authenticity," she replied, a bit of continued mischievousness in the last statement. She had a feeling he didn't need that, the points, that is. The watch probably was included simply for the familiarity of knowing the time, which made another thought occur to her although she was still speaking teasingly. "I suppose I'll need to ask you if I'm ever curious what time it is then. As unfortunately I wasn't able to include any sort of watch with my costume." It really hadn't even occurred to her until now.
She laughed again as he called her out on the color thing. "I don't actually remember if I'd ever told you that I used to be a Ravenclaw, Jared," she responded, "But yes. You would think. That trait seems to have skipped myself." Although she did occasionally wear blue as well, along with other colors. And the grin came back as he'd replied to her French. "At least it seems I didn't say anything wrong," she said in amusement, as well as response. If he felt the need to return the pleasure, obviously her French was still passable. She hadn't been to the country in years.
"That sounds like a lovely idea," she finally said, as he suggested something for them to do. With another little grin at his hastily tacked on show of respect, along with the gesture. "Whenever it pleases you," she continued, dropping into a slight curtsy as they continued the acting. This could be quite entertaining if they really kept this up. She had a feeling it wouldn't really last, as they were too fond of teasing each other to stay too proper.
"Aren't you going to be shocked that I gave up so easily?" Jared asked, gaze mischievous in response to her thanks. His lips tugged up into a smile as she spoke again. "I do try," he said, his tones still semi-teasing, and continuing to be so as he responded to her comment about needing to ask him the time. "I aim to please, mademoiselle. It should be a pleasure." Once again, the mock reverence.
"And does that mean I shouldn't know that, my dear Renée?" He had read profiles before coming here - as he suspected she knew, given things - and basic information such as that had been easily available. Though her statement reminded him that, as far as knowing little things such as that went, she could most likely know more about him than he about her, should she choose to use her ability. Especially since he had never found a reason to raise a wall around facts such as that. His eyes twinkled for a moment, holding her semi-teasing gaze as she spoke again. "You might have," he pointed out, grinning lazily. "I might, after all, not have felt it polite to correct you."
"The lake it is, then," Jared said, as they moved away from the marquee and the dozens of small but elegant tables it encompassed, and towards the frozen lake. It reminded him of the last them they had been there together. The setting now, animated and full of a vibrant hustle-bustle, could not possibly be more different than it had been, then. "How is the typical Victorian gentleman expected to respond to a curtsy?" He asked, grinning at the facetiousness of it all.
"yeah it was! Suuure showed them!" she said at she grinned happily, "now," she began as she stuck out her elbow for Amy to hook her arm with hers, "I believe our work is done, and it is time for the teacup ride, which you will be riding, with a teacup!"
"haha let us go!" she said as she hooked her arm around Maisie's arm "to the teacups!"

Emma sipped at her hot tea. She turned around to look to see if she could see anyone else. And.. she saw her date, well her partner in crime. He looked like he was deep in his thoughts. "Alex!" she exclaimed, she beamed him a smile and waved to him.

With feathers dangerously poking out of her hair, Maya strode over to the...area where even more chairs and food were placed. Scanning said area, she noticed a group of students chatting about, girls fluffing up their hair and boys...doing whatever boys did...and was that Professor Magnus' voice?
Oh.
Oh that was a nice touch.
Walking towards them, she stared at the blonde Professor person to make sure it was her. Hehe. "Good evening, everyone." Maya inclined her head, still staring at Issy. "Nice hair." Honest compliment. "It suits you very well."

RaWr.
While stuffing the piece of hair that had fallen out while she had been talking to Hugo - honestly, Issy was beginning to wish she had glued it all in place. She just wasn't really used to wearing it up, so was therefore not used to making it stay there - a vision in black and red came into her field of view. Professor Saylen? Wow.
Blink.
"Good evening, Professor Saylen," Issy smiled. Yes, stay formal while around kiddies. "I must say, your costume is very, very nice." And red. Red was nice. "Thank you very much! I just wish it would stay up." Chuckling she pointed to the seat the other side of her, where Iris wasn't. "Won't you join us?" The more the merrier, isn't that what they say?

Ah, hair troubles. Maya disliked having her hair all up in her face at times, specially when working out on the grounds. "Don't worry about it, it looks nice on you." Ah, a seat! "Thankyou, don't mind if I do." Not that her feet hurt, because she'd chosen some sturdy boots (like alwaaaaaaays). But back to her hair business. "Here," she reached into a pocket on her dress and took out a couple of hair pins, "use these if you like."

He was a 'gangsta', a street kid.. this shindig really wasn't his style.
But, he was dating a posh chick now. A posh chick he happened to really like, so he had to do this for her. It would be selfish not to. He released his cheek from between his teeth and looked at the blonde girl on his arm to find her smiling at him. He appreciated the reassuring hand squeeze and he returned it, giving her a nod to silently tell her that he was alright. He tried to hold onto the hat as it was yanked from his other hand and shoved back on his head.. but he managed a genuine little smile when Trixie told him he looked amazing. “Still would have been more comfortable as a caveman.” He teased her lightly. “...Or a teapot.” He added as an afterthought as his gaze settled on the small Slytherin girl dressed as a teapot. “Now that's creative.” he nodded in her direction and smiled properly. “If there's a competition for best dressed, she should win.” And Freddie was being completely serious. He didn't share the same cynical sarcasm as his curly haired cousin.
He looked around at everything as Trixie spoke. It DID look amazing. Like nothing he'd ever seen before in the muggle world. At least, not in his experience of the muggle world.. but then he hadn't ventured much further than the council estate he lived on. His life had changed so much over the past few months. “You've put so much into it.” He replied in his soft mumble. “I'll never forget this.” His eyes wandered over to the frozen lake. Hogwarts was most certainly beautiful. It was a shame he only had a few months left of this experience.
He got the impression his comment hadn't settled well with the Head Girl. He squeezed her hand. “I just mean..” He rubbed at his neck “...I mean it'd be nice if I could spend some of the evening with Trixie, not the Head Girl.” Because Trixie in Head Girl mode was different to 'his' Trixie. He turned to face her and looked down into her pretty hazel eyes, leaning down to kiss her softly on the cheek. A rare moment of tenderness from the rough looking boy. “Forgive me, I'm nervous. Lets go get a drink or something.”
The Prefects table by the looks of things was already starting to fill up. A few of her fellow prefects had already taken their seats up there, though the absence of their dates was kind of confusing, there were plenty enough seats for them up there. The Slytherin eyed her seat near the centre, watching as more and more students piled in and the tables began to fill. It really was exciting, how they'd manage to provide all of this in a very short amount of time, and although it might have been stressful at times, it was fun all the same. She continued to walk towards the table, making sure Freddie was following her, not that he could go anywhere when her hand was in his.
Her eyebrow raised at his comment though. She liked his costume, loved it in fact. He matched her, they looked totally right and she knew it wasn't his style of whatever, which made her even more thankful he had actually made an effort, even if it wasn't totally for her sake. "Since when have you ever seen a caveman at a tea party?" she asked, eyebrow raising and tilting her head. Yeah, with their clubs they would more likely ruin it then improve it. "Your more likely to stand out looking like that then you are like this. Believe me, you look amazing. " End of. Her eyes glanced back over at the Teapot girl who happened to be looking at her, a small smile on her face as she turned back to her date. "Its different I'll give her that. Maybe not exactly what the invitation implied but... She has a creative mind" she stated. "But I'd quite like to see YOU in the teapot costume. Surely that would be far more embarrassing than what your wearing now?" she asked him. She personally would never be seen dead in a costume like that. "Summer Holidays, your getting yourself one of them" she pointed at the girl and then smirked playfully. He had said it now, there was no getting out of that one.
Trixie's eyes twinkled like the decorations in the marquee did, especially when she looked up to find Freds looking straight down at her. Her lips fell immediately into a grin at his compliment. "Well we wanted to provide you all with something that will last a lifetime" she told him, smiling as she glanced down at her feet. Her eyes followed his, glancing across at the lake, which happened to be occupied with spinning tea cups across the pure white surface. "We'll go for a sleigh ride later yes? I don't think my stomach can survive one of those things." Well she didn't want to risk it anyway, unless Freddie wanted a go, then she might just have to. "Are you glad you come here now?" she asked seriously, eyes widening. Hopefully Hogwarts had changed his mind completely, and the seventeen year old was most certainly thankful he had come here.
The comment hadn't quite yet sunk in with Trixie. She didn't think that her Head girl self was any different to her normal self. Unless... "You want the less bossy, less frantic and less on the lookout version of me?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing. "Or do you want me by myself?" That was the only other option she could think of anyway. The kiss on the cheek came as quite a surprise yet incredibly welcome for that girl. Her cheeks turned slightly red, not out of embarrassment, just that she hadn't been kissed in quite a while and well she enjoyed it. And this was the side of Freddie Trixie really liked, the softer side she supposed. "Nervous? You have nothing to be nervous about. Its me that has to make sure this thing runs smoothly" she bit her lip. "We're supposed to be up there" her eyes darted towards the table. "There's drinks up there anyway" And there was something she had to announce.

Marie jumped back slightly when she almost got an elbow in the face. Geesh, someone sure was jumpy tonight. "Hey, watch that thing," she said with a little laugh. Really, she didn't want her face bloodied by a wayward elbow.
She didn't miss him looking at her dress either... and maybe seeing a bit of a look of disappointment, like maybe he didn't like what she was wearing. She looked down at her dress when he said she looked the part. "Yeah, I guess I do. A friend helped me pick this out." Well more like Mia had totally picked it out since Marie pretty much hates to shop.
She was so excited to see him tonight that she wasn't even thinking about that fall he had taken earlier in the day. That is until he sat down and had a sudden look of pain on his face. "Are you okay?" She asked, voice full of concern as she sat down next to him. She hated seeing him in pain.

But even if she had of been there she would of had no idea anyway. Although she still thought her own house was the one to beat. That Jake guy was fast.
When the boy spoke, Mia followed his gaze and let out a little giggle at the girl who had dressed up as a tea cup. That was certainly taking the whole tea party thing literally. She looked back at Jacob, a smile tugging at her lips. "Maybe they thought it would be good entertainment."
Mia too looked at the menu. "Yes it does." She agreed. "Would you like to get some food then?"
Jacob shrugged, "I guess I'm just used to dark, depressing places." The raveclaw tower had been a huge change... but this... this was just unbarable. He always wondered what the past had looked like. But this was just terrible. Way to bright, and formal.
Entertainment? more like torture, and suffering. Who would dress up as a tea pot, even Jacob wouldn't do that "rather obnoxious, if you ask me." and Jacob knew obnoxious, seeing as he himself was very obnoxious. But that was only when he was celebrating, or running from cake. "They should be sipping their tea like proper Ladies and Gentlebeans they are." Or at least act proper, even Jacob had some kind of acting skills. Being able to act as if he didn't want to vomit, and run out of the marquee... acting like he isn't completely insane.
Would he like to get food... Um... YES! Jacob got out of his eat, but turned back to Mia "Would you like me to get you something?" he asked... EWW! He was being all Proper, and Gentleman-y... stupid costume trying to controll his mind. It isn't going to work.

He walked up to the different teas, saw some butterbeer and looked at it with longing eyes. So stupid that it didn't fit it costume if he drank butterbeer.... It was oh so yummie! With a little sigh he sat down by a table and looked around him.
Anyone he knew? He could spot Emma, Fee, Hugo and Leo chattering away across the marquee, he put his head in his hands and vanished into his dream world.
Now, if he was a Superhero, what powers would he have...?
Kita sighed. Being alone on the Elizabethan table was definitely not good at a tea party. She looked down at her legs, which were soon going to turn into one of the tables if she sat here any longer. She stood up, realising too late that this was a mistake. Stars had erupted everywhere in front of her eyes.
Kita started walking around, hoping that her leg turns back to normal sometime soon. Not knowing where she was going, she ended up bumping into a whole load of people. And the fact that her dress was so poofy only made her say her "Excuse me,"'s and "Sorry,"'s even more.
She stumbled out around a particularly large group of people and nearly belly-butted a table. "Whoa!" she said, grabbing the table to steady herself.
It was then that she realised that there was already someone there. A guy. A guy who had his head in his hands. The inner badger was coming out and before she knew it, she put a hand on his shoulder and asked, "Are you ok?"

He was such a barrel of laughs, wasn't he? "Well regardless of that, you have to appreciate the effort the Prefects went to." Mia thought they had done a splendid job. Even if her date was being all mopey.
Obnoxious? Was he serious? "Jacob, I think they're just having some fun." She was tempted to roll her eyes at him but refrained from doing so. "Oh come on just because this is a 'tea party' doesn't mean we can't have some fun." She placed her elbows onto the table and lent forward a little. "Did you know they have sleigh and tea cup rides? I think we should go on one later." And hopefully he might lighten up a little.
Mia was just standing up when Jacob did but halted mid way and looked at him with a smile. "That would be lovely."
Wow. Who would have thought he could actually be so nice?
"I'm still just not sure about those shoes, Jacob." Because really, they weren't .... well they weren't suiting to the occasion. And to be honest, Neptune wasn't totally sure a occasion existed that they would be appropriate.
Again, she frowned at them, making the effort to crane her neck over the masses and waves of fabric of her own extravagant dress.
"Did you wear comfortable shoes because you intend to dance me around all night....?" Hmmmmmm? Was that it? Giggle.

Jake looked down innocently at his shoes and tilted his head. Really about the shoes?
Foot coverings?!
REALLY?!
The young man half bared his teeth in a playful way as Neptune looked down at his feet, making sure he wasn't stepping on the hem of her dress.
"They are comfortable shoes. And though I do tend to dance you around all night, dear, I also prefer to keep my feet comfortable. And maintain one morsel of... sanity."
He EYED all he other costumes.
Did he just see a teapot?
"That morsel just happens to reside in my feet."
Jake smiled at Neptune, enjoying this interaction. She made him smile all the time, and he took his opportunity to do so whilst she was staring at his feeeeeeeets.

Was he growling at her? Neptune showed her teeth RIGHT BACK. She counted herself the winner of that standoff. Cue haughty nose-to-air pose.
................giggle.
"By that logic, dear, you think me insane. You'll be dancing me around until your feet fall off if you keep talk like that." She was, of course, entirely playing. Which was nice to be able to do for a change. Neptune raised her gloved hand higher, taking Jake's hand with hers. Obviously this was a more proper way to escort her about.

"You're more the mistress type than the marrying type, I reckon." James shrugged off the eagle thing. He still wasn't entirely convinced about being a Ravenclaw and all that, though Quidditch was going a long way to change his mind on that.
"You should know by now that I don't break easily." But boy was he bruised up.

Lion? Hmmm, Gryffindor at heart? she wondered. Snickering when James batted his eyelashes and asked Ivan if he wanted dance, she grinned figuring this would certainly be fun to watch. "Nice to meet you as well."
Well TJ seemed to have a good sense of humour. James grinned back and glanced between TJ and Ivan, his eyebrow up. How long had they known each other?

She looked down at her dress when he said she looked the part. "Yeah, I guess I do. A friend helped me pick this out." Well more like Mia had totally picked it out since Marie pretty much hates to shop.
She was so excited to see him tonight that she wasn't even thinking about that fall he had taken earlier in the day. That is until he sat down and had a sudden look of pain on his face. "Are you okay?" She asked, voice full of concern as she sat down next to him. She hated seeing him in pain.
Catching what Ivan said about leading, Marie grinned over towards him unable to stop the words from coming out. "You should give it a try sometime, he actually leads quite well." She said giving him a little wink. Oh how fun it would be to see those two dancing, fighting over who was going to lead. "I'm good, thanks for asking." She said as her grin now turned to a sincere smile.
"Nice to meet you TJ. I'm Marie. I'm good. I think I've seen you around the common room before." She was pretty sue she had anyway. Then again it seemed Marie always had her nose in a book studying so she really didn't pay much attention to what went on around her or who ws there.
"Well you look good, as usual." Jim said as she sat down. "Yeah. Fine really, considering that was some collision. It was either just let it happen or miss the snitch though." He hadn't prised his hand open for hours after either.
Grin.
"Ivan's probably had even more lessons than I have." But Jim probably enjoyed it more really, though he wouldn't admit it.

Jacob said nothing, he simply nodded. They did very well, it was just too fancy, but he guessed that's what a tea party is. He had never gone to one, really he's never had tea before, but theres a first for everything.
He walked towards the table and got one plate for Mia of Roast Beef (cause who doesn't like Beef that was roasted?), and Potatoe skins with cheese for himself. He'd take the roastbeef later, he'd let Mia judge it first. And also got them both a cup of Chai Tea... cause that seem to found fancy and flavorful.
Jacob placed the Roast beef and one of the cups in front of Mia, and his Potato skins at his spot before sitting down. "Smells good too." he'd let Mia have first bite, cause the costume was making him. Jacob decided to take off the fake glasses, they were getting dirty, and he wasnt able to see very well through them. He placed it inside his Jacket pocket, and took off his top hat, placing it next to his plate. "whats this about a ride in tea cups?" he asked eyeing his cup... did they have to ride in their cups? or maybe the cup like got big or something?
Was he growling at her? Neptune showed her teeth RIGHT BACK. She counted herself the winner of that standoff. Cue haughty nose-to-air pose.

Holding back a smile as most distinguished men were EXPECTED to do, like a boss, Jake let his hand follow Neptune's and placed his other hand behind his back, with the palm facing out from the small of his back as he made the 'distinguished pose'. The one Neptune liked. Nose-to-air and all.
Well... he assumed she liked it. She did it often.
FEH! He felt... kind of like that Ravenclaw Seeker. Wilts or something.
Well... he felt like that guy acted.
So the nose came down.
"Where to, ma'am?"
CHECK HIM OUT.

As Charlie's stomach growled loudly, as if answering Braeden's earlier question, the boy laughed lightly. Awww, the poor thing was probably starving. Well, good to know that he wasn't the only one craving a good meal at that moment, then. As Charlie asked which tables Braeden would like to visit, the Gryffindor boy's expression turned more thoughtful. Hmmmmm… What was the difference, really? He figured he'd just make a random guess. "Upper tables," he decided with a smile.
Psssshhh. Nothing?! Yeah, right! Braeden didn't believe Charlie's oh-so-innocent response at all; however, before he could say anything about it, the girl was already dragging him away through the grounds and toward the tables at top speed. Merlin, how could someone so small run so fast?! Braeden had the advantage of height, but he was rather clumsy and it was honestly a miracle he hadn't fallen flat on his face as his energetic girlfriend dragged him like a ragdoll. He couldn't help but laugh with amusement at her enthusiasm, though, following her path without a complaint, like a good little lovestruck puppy.
Charlie dragged the clumsy Prince in by his wrist, laughing and giggling from the run. Who knew she could run that fast? Must be that happiness gives you wings. As he nearly tripped she caught Braeden and laughingly said, "Careful. We can't have you breaking something before we get food in the hungry stomach." Charlie patted his tummy and wrapped her arm around him in a one-armed hug. But in this hug she didn't let go.
Charlie walked carefully over to table so that Braeden wouldn't have the chance to trip. She grabbed to plates and simply said, "Have at it, Cub!"
