"oh I like it. Maisie, very fun. NO. Spunky" Yes Sammy had just called this girl's name spunky. Anyone got a problem with that? No one? GOOD. "I've never watched NCIS, if I did I'd probably think I was gonna be killed in my sleep every night" yeah crime shows and Sammy weren't a good combination. "well it's not really Poisson, which is actually french for fish" WHAAA "it's Star. I'm dressed as Antoinette Poisson." she explained.



OHMYTARDIS EMMY! *inner squeal* Time to be classy and french "Good day, Miss Emmy. And whom may you be on this glorious day?" she asked with the best french accent she could muster. Which wasn't much of a accent at all.

Emmy smiled graciously: trying not to giggle.
She sat down beside her friend, replying, "Today, mam'selle, I am Lady Jane Seymour." leaning over conspiratorially, she murmured,"Don't ask why, it just popped into me 'ead!" Sitting straight again, she poured herself some tea.
"And how are you this fine morning, my good friend?"

Sammy nodded approvingly. T'was a very french name Emmy had come up with. "I am simply splendid my dear, and how might you be?" She asked with a smile, oh yeah the classiest girls in the room. "oh this is Maisie by the way. Maisie this is Emmy- I mean Lady Jane" *que grin*

Every once in a while, Renée really was grateful for her mother's profession. Even though she'd been gone for years now, the connections still existed, and it wasn't hard to contact one of the costumers who'd worked with Anneliese years ago once she'd decided on an idea for the tea party. The result, she thought, was impressive, even as she knew the idea behind it all was rather amusing. She liked to see her costume as a late 1800s witch who was showing respect for certain magical creatures. Part of her had even contemplated bringing Anastasia as part of it all, but she knew the phoenix would have gotten twitchy amongst all the people.

Not to mention she had another escort, which made things even more intriguing and amusing. Things being the fact this was a school-wide event, so obviously any rumors wouldn't get avoided anymore. At least that wasn't entirely her idea, but she figured someone would have caught on sooner or later so she'd agreed. Besides, she'd known the odds were she'd've ended up talking to him anyway, as it was hard for her not to. They got into too many interesting discussions, and she enjoyed them immensely. But first she wanted to make sure everyone was on board.

"So, are you ready for this?," she asked him with a little grin, before they got too far into the marquee. There was still time to turn back.

Iris was distracted. She was thinking about where Aaron, Fallon and Satine were. They better show up to this! Her and Wesley had worked too hard for them to NOT see what they'd done!

And besides, Iris wanted to go on the teacups with Aaron. It would be cuuute and romantic.

She was pulled away from her thoughts when someone came over and spoke to her. "Oh! Um... Why, yes! It is rather festive, yes." She said, smiling. Festive wasn't really a word she'd use, but sure; why not? As she said this, it occurred to her that this boy didn't seem to know that she was one of those responsible for the hard work. With a small smile, she held out her hand to shake his. Yeah; she could have gone for the whole Old English curtseys and all that malarkey, but that would mean standing up. "I'm Iris. Slytherin Prefect. And you are?"



Iris looked away from the boy when she noticed someone who CLEARLY didn't know what "English History" was. For starters, she was dressed up as a teapot from an American Muggle movie. Frowning, she considered going over to the girl but decided against it. For now, at least.

Trying to focus her attention back onto the boy she was sat with, the prefect frowned with annoyance when the Teapot!Girl started singing a Muggle nursery rhyme about a teapot... and someone else started to join in?! They were completely ruining the ambience of the Tea Party.

Giving them BOTH very dirty, unimpressed glares, Iris turned her attention away from them for a moment. She made a little note to find Trixie and let her know that there's a mental teapot on the loose after she'd spoken to this boy.

OOC: Just to clarify... Iris's reactions towards Maisie are totally her own. I love the idea. x3 <33

Sitting at the table,the blonde still coulsnt decide what to take.There were so many cool things too eat and drink.These prefects made it hard to choose.Tehe.

Just as she straightend her pretty white dress a little the blonde felt a tap on her shoulder. Ohhh someone to spend this beautiful day with.Turning her head a huge smile grew on the Slytherin's face as she saw who tapped her on the shoulder."Milord",she smiled and giggled a litte when Hugo kissed her on the hand.Crazy boy."You arent looking too baad either",Fee winked.Well, he always looked amazing.Seeing him taking a tea cup and a pot the most victorian style,she chuckled."I would love some tea",the girl nodded,"what can you recommend?"God,he was really the best thing that had ever happend to her.

Cass entered the marquee with her heels clicking as she walked and her gown trailing behind her. She did have this thing for really huge gowns...

Then she stopped by the entryway and looked around for anyone she knew. She didn't want to spend the whole party alone.

The weather was perfect and all the tea party preparations that she and her co-prefects had struggled with to get finalized were done. They couldn't have managed it without the help of Groundskeeper Stryker. Standing just outside the doors to the grounds Sophie waited for Sebastian to show up.

It was going to be their first party as a couple. Clad in big blue renaissanse dress that her mother had shipped by the use of four owls the Gryffindor prefect really felt like a lady. To go with her dress she had the necklace Sebastian had given her, earrings and a purse. Her hair fashionly put up too in what Sophie thought was a fitting renaissance hair style.

Now where was Sebastian?

Leopold Gordon O'Donald looked so utterly cool. With his little fake moustache and cane, he was CHarlie Chaplin and he actually fit the part quite well. With a grin on his face, Leo wandered around a bit, looking for someone to talk to. UGH. Where was his French Fry at?

Leo kept wandering until his eyes landed on a blonde in a long pretty dress, "HEY FEE!"He shouted, waving his free hand around. The other hand was holding onto the cane obviously.

Fee was sitting at the table drinking some of the most delicious tea ever. Everyone looked so cool here.This tea party was so amazing,when she was going to be a prefect this had to be repeated.Hehe.

And then she heard someone shouting her name.Turning around the blonde smiled as she noticed Leo dressed up as Charlie Chaplin.Oh my gkitter, this role fit him soooo perfect. Leo the genius.Hehe."Leeooooo",she shouted back and giggled,"care to join me?"Tea with a friend was a lot more fun than tea alone.

Hugo chuckled. "Well, I guess... There is just... Tea," he said getting back into his usual role of awkward teenage boy. "Err, I mean, this be the best tea in all of England," he said in a fancy voice holding up the teapot and putting some in her cup. "Here ya- I mean- Here be thy tea milady," he said and handed her the cup. This fancy stuff was hard!


Then his fancyness was disturbed by a loud chirp coming closer. Uhhh? Who was this? He shot the boy yelling Fee's name an annoyed look as to say EXCUSE ME? But then turned to his victorian face again. "Hello there," he said hesitantly.

Leo walked up to the girl now even closer, using his cane with each step he took. Of course, he didn't actually NEED a cane but it just made him look cool. A grin was on his face, nodding as he approached her, "I like the costume..."Leopold said looking her up and down to check out the costume. He snorted a tiny bit, "I should have...guessed a princess...."He said through his light chuckles.

Almost all pretty girls wanted to be princesses, Leo was aware of this. He had been aware of this since he was like....five. He stood beside her popping the bowler hat off his head, "How's MY costume?"Hehhh.


Person. Boy. O_O That must have been Fee's boyfriend. D:

Leopold all of a sudden felt VERY afraid and felt the need to want to crawl in a hole and die and hide from the world. Instead he just fixed his moustache, awkward smile on his face. Meeting people scared him ESPECIALLY if they were people who didn't look excited to see him. The LAST thing he wanted was to like...get made fun of. "Errm..."Leo ran his hand through his hair, blinking. "Hey man....I'm Leo...? I dont think we've met before...?"

GAH. He was so scared.

This boy seemed a bit frightened of him. But he was like 2 times as tall as Hugo. Why would someone older and taller than Hugo be scared of him?
Hugo swallowed. Oh geez. Another Justin? But then... More like Hugo. He always felt threatenend by other guys that seemed to like Fee... A LOT. If Hugo didn't know there were no gears in his brain, he would be sure Fee and Leo could hear them right now. For a moment he just stared at the dude's mustache. Then he returned to reality, and turned his frightened face into an adequate smile. "Nice to meet you, Leo. I'm Hugo," he said and extended his hand for Leo to shake. Last thing he needed was more enemies. "No, we haven't met before, I think," he said.

Okay, cool. This guy didn't want to hate him. Leopold couldn't help but let out a sigh of happiness. He didn't like having people dislike him....especially for the wrong reasons. It did appear that this was Fee's boyfriend and he did NOT like having other guys around her. As pretty as Fee was though, Leo didn't like her like that. Nope. He'd be crazy if he did, cause Fee was way to pretty and awesome for him.....plus she had a boyfriend

Smiling at the other dude, Leopold nodded his head."Hey man."He said shaking his hand. This guy was SHORT compared to him...then again everyone was short compared to him. He eyed the boy's suit, "so, your Fee's boyfriend? Right?"RIGHT. "She's mentioned a lot about you..."

Isabelle had been rather looking forward to this event. She had, truth be told, been to very few costume parties - read none - but the fact she could go shopping for an outfit was happy news indeed. Having settled on a simple Victorian one, she fussed over the rear ruffles as she walked down through the grounds towards the marquee's. Smoothing them out, she beamed a smile at all the students she passed, adding a nod of her newly changed blonde hair. That would take some getting used to.

Upon arrival at the upper table marquee, where the prefects and staff would be sitting, Issy headed to the top table taking a quick glance at the food as she went. It looked glorious, and sumptious, and....

....was that a teapot? A person teapot? O______o

Kids were so - inventive these days.

Sitting down in an empty seat, she studied the decorations and fiddled with her updo, making sure no hair was falling out.



OOC: Just an fyi. I can't see half the pictures in the costume thread, because they are hosted by Tinypic >.< So apologies if I don't know what your character is wearing!

"I'll have an iced tea." she replied with a small smile on her face, taking his arm as they moved to the empty table. This little boy was certainly acting more gentleman like than he had back in Diagon Alley, she wondered if he really could act as human as he was at that point, not some shoe stepper onner. Or was this just all an act to go along with his Lord costume? Hearing his laugh, she smiled that little smile again, unsure what was so funny but thought it to be rude if she ignored it all the same.

Taking the proferred chair she sat down pulling her skirts around her so they didn't all bunch up around her. How in Merlin's name did people dress like this every day? "Thank you." she murmured.

Iris watched the Transfiguration professor as she made her way into the marquee. She really suited the blonde hair, and seemed to be fussing with her costume an awful lot. Smiling slightly, Iris got up from her seat and went to fetch a cup of tea. Instead of returning to her own, empty table; Iris headed over to the lonesome-looking professor.

With a smile, Iris half curtseyed - being careful not to drop her cup. Hehe. She liked playing the part as well as dressing the part. "You look very lovely, Professor Magnus. Especially your hair." Though her dress was magnificent, too. Iris's dress looked incredibly plain compared to everyone elses. "Might I sit with you?"

Oops, had Elliott just pulled her from some important thought? Hopefully she didn't mind the intrusion. He gave another smile and nodded. "Mhmm." O.O She was a prefect?! Oh, gosh. This was a good moment for a facepalm. The sixth year had known the names of the prefects simply by seeing them on bulletin boards and such, but he still had yet to match names to faces for all of them, save the two Gryffindors. "Wow, prefect! I feel pretty stupid for not realizing it," he said, shaking his head in an apologetic fashion. Although the whole English costume thing wasn't exactly helping - were they dressed in their normal school uniforms, he would have seen the prefect badge pinned upon her robes. "I'm Elliott, sixth year Gryffindor." He'd seemed to repeat that line quite often this year. Name, year, house. "But anyway, it looks great! What gave you guys the idea for the theme?"

His eyes followed hers over to several students who were chanting a little song as one of them sang in an actual teapot costume. He chuckled and silently complimented the student's cleverness. Elliott found it amusing, yet when he glanced at the prefect again, she lacked his enthusiasm about it all.

"Yes, do not let him be stolen away," he grinned, making a shooing motion. Stolen men could always be so dramatic in the end. "Nice to talk to you as well," he replied, returning her curtsy with a slight bow.

As she headed away, he turned and continued to walk as well, looking around for more cool costumes and people he could talk to.

Hugo smirked. Seems like Leo had cranked up his status a bit. Maybe they were cool- you know- never mind. "I-I guess so," Hugo said. He still couldn't believe his title. Boyfriend? Feenella Schwarzberg's boyfriend? He glanced at Fee and gave her a caring smile for no particular reason. "She has?" Hugo said and couldn't help but smile. Hugo didn't know she mentioned him alot in front of other people. "So-Err- Enjoying the tea party?" he asked trying to have a little conversation, while pouring some tea into his cup and biting in a French hazelnut praline.

Hugo noticed the transfiguration proffie there. "Hey professor. Enjoying the party?" he asked interestedly. He didn't know why he liked HER so much. She was just his favourite he guessed.

People watching was immense fun, especially when they all looked so different from their usual selves. So it was with a gentle smile that Issy took in the comings and goings of the people in the upper marquee. Even teapot girl and her singing was entertaining.

And then someone was in front of her - curtseying. Chuckling, Isabelle smiled at the girl. "Why thank you, Miss Beaumont. You look quite nice yourself." Gesturing to the seat next to her when asked the question, Issy nodded her agreement. "Of course you can. I was hoping to speak to one of you actually - I wanted to congratulate you, and your fellow prefects. This party looks brilliant." And so classy. Teapots aside.

Ahhh, Hugo. She'd know that voice anywhere. Glancing in his direction, Issy offered a small wave to the Ravenclaw. "Hello, Hugo! I am so far, thank you. I hope you are as well?" Honestly, who wouldn't be?

"hey maisie!" Amy said with a smile as she walked up next to her friend "awesome costume!!" she said happily "do you like my costume?" she looked around "I've never been to a tea party before, have you?" she asked happily as she adjusted her tiara."i heard they had some cupcakes here, wanna go look for them?" She smiled brightly "I also heard about a cool teacup ride on the lake! "

Jacob looked around the marquee as he sat himself down. Really it sort of disguisted him. "A bit too fancy for my liking." he liked more plain, cold, unwelcoming places, like the dungeons.

Congratulations... for what? "Oh right... Quidditch. Thank you." he said his mind moving back to the match "I think we could have done better, but a win is a win." Jacob had kind of forgotten about what had happened, it wasn't really a time to celebrate. They had to beat the Puff's next, and from what he'd seen, Jimmy was going to have a tough time going against Jake. He needed to go over new plays to try and use the puff's weak points.

But Jacob tugged on his collar, bringing him back to the party. When he heard something from the other side of the table... What was that? "Why would the prefects enchant a giant tea cup to sing and dance around?" that was the only explanation cause the only person who was nuts enough to do something like that was Jacob. And even he wouldn't do it.

His eyes fell to the menu in front of him. "Everything looks good." except the cakes, just keep them away from Jacob and there wont be a problem

Having to replace his Rolex with a pocket watch had seemed such an unnecessary frivolity, but the perfectionist in him had taken over and told him to pay attention to details. Why wear a costume in the first place, if he couldn't bother to get it right?

Still, the absence of the Rolex felt... unusual.

The prefects, Jared reflected lazily [yes, he could do that. Reflect lazily. He found it an art] as he stepped outside, had done a beautiful job. He could not say he had expected less but all the same, seeing the entire setting now made him pause for a second, to take it all in.

Ready? Ready. He titled his head ever so slightly, a sparkle in his green eyes. "I'm finding it amusing that, for the first time since arriving at Hogwarts, I'm required to wear gloves." And?

"You look beautiful, Miss Bishop." He paused, before adding, "Anastasia should be quite proud."

Fee giggled a little.This was the Hugo she knew and the Hugo she cared for so much.Somehow he always managed to make her smile."Oh the best tea in all of England?",she said pretending to be impressed,"thats nice."It was cute hpw he tried to be all victorian."I have to say drinking tea with you milord makes my day",the blonde nodded.

Noticing the look he gave Leop when her friend appeared the girl took Hugo's hand and shot him a caring smile.He didnt have to be afraid of feel threatend in any way. Her heart belonged to him no matter what would happen."We're just friends",she whispered nodding into Leo's direction.It was cute how jealous Hugo got whenever he saw Fee with another guy.

Fee smiled at her friend when he complimented her costume.Aww, Leo seemed to feel more comfy with her around.How awesome,he was coming out of his shy bubble a little.Tehe."I am Guinevere the white witch from King Arthur",she chuckled when Leo snorted a tiny bit.So typical Leo.

Checking his costume for a few seconds a wide smile grew on the Slytherin's face."Your costume is brilliant",the girl nodded,"suits you soo good and you are a genius for thinking about Charlie Chaplin."Ans then Hugo and Leo started to talk.Awww, hopefully they would get along well.."Yuup thats my boyfriend",Fee nodded happily.her amazing and handsome boyfriend.
