Congratulations!" he got one of the Slytherin cookies out and handed it to her "Here, something to welcome you to this most awesome house."

He turned his attention back to the 5th year girls when he noticed them talking excitedly over a man looking at their table. He furrowed his brows at said person and couldnt recall ever seeing him before. "Who dat?" he asked them, tilting his head at the direction of the stranger.
"Hey Salander..."

...

Hmm, she was going to give him a better greeting then that, and completely ignored what he said afterward about Sierra, but it wasn't her fault. It wasn't her fault that he decided to bring the evil box over here at their end of the table.

O__O!!

"Merlin, I'm going to forget what you just said about Professor Truebridge, but, on the other hand, I will ask a very important question to you." She paused for a few moments, staring at him as if trying to figure out a puzzle that was sketched onto his face. "Are you crazy?"

They appeared to be having a discussion or something, and he didn't want to interrupt.

He sat among some people he didn't know, with his back to the wall, and just watched the Great Hall.

It was amazing to be back in here.
Having already been looking towards the door, Evelyn had already seen Evan enter the Great Hall, finally. While he wasn't the boy she was looking for, at least it wasn't Rex or worse that she had to look at for more than a few seconds.

He was even polite and waved to them. Well, that had got to be the first acknowledgment from him she had seen in...forever. Not that she cared. It was almost funny.

She did smile slightly back before turning her attention to Truebridge someone else who came over.

Not that it mattered at least they had something in common.
That was why he was kind of headed down that way. As well as the fact that he wanted to get to know Marie better too. So that the girl didn't think he was just a best friend punching guy. Because he totally wasn't. He was nice and cool.
Now he just had to find them, which could be interesting, because all the people here were wearing green robes, although he hadn't though any different. Aah. There they were. Hmm. Finn approached them, glancing around at the others at the table. They wouldn't mind right? That he was here even though he was a ravenclaw. "Marie...Evelyn.." He nodded at them both, still standing behind them
Now, normally she didn't mind people talking to her, or her friends, just as long as she knew them, were friends with them, didn't mind their company, and could totally see them. There was just one problem with this situation...

She didn't mind Finn since she knew him, didn't mind his company, and she thought this was a whoooole start to a good friendship (maybe), but...she could not see him. Technically, if she craned her neck or her back she could, but that just irritated the heck out of her. Frowning, she kinda...pushed him gently to the side a bit more.

Hehe, there we go.

"Hey Finn." Queue the smile!

SPOILER!!: little snakette *giggle*

The first girl--she knew her! "Ohh, you're the girl from Sugarplum's, right? That cretaceous old hag line," she said, "...was great. Even though what happened afterward just proves how crazy that shopkeeper really is." After all, she'd langlocked this girl and nearly petrified Sierra!

Even though she hadn't been the one the comment had been addressed to, Sierra instinctively turned to look at whoever it was that had apparently come back. The man looked mysterious as he observed their table in his dark shades. Sierra wondered if he was a professor or some sort of secret service agent. He surely fit the bill for both.

"Who's he?" she asked the girl, whose name she still hadn't caught on to yet.[/B]

Her attention was drawn away, however, when Salamander asked about the mysterious man. Sierra turned to face the man once again, listening to hear if anyone knew who he was. Apparently, the two girls did.

...

Well, that answered Marie's question and her own, unspoken question. "Hear that Marie? She's Sierra Greingoth." Taking another small sip of her water, she placed her goblet down one last time before completely ignoring it. Nope, done with water.

And she was right about the girl being in the candy store earlier this Summer. However, the girl's reaction to it all now...amused Evelyn. "You're right." she said slowly, before a smirk crept up on her lips and she settled herself more on her seat. "That was a great line." And so was the shopkeeper being crazy, but she'd rather just ignore and forget that memory for now. It was too...traumatizing. "I'm Evelyn by the way." Hmm yes, she'd let Marie make her own introductions.

However, whatever respect points Sierra earned in those ten seconds were totally flushed down the drain at her question. "Who's he- Who's he?! Don't...don't ask that. Ever." No no no no. No, that was a question that should be illegal when it came to Professor Truebridge. "He's like, the greatest professor ever. Or person actually. Just...the greatest in general." Well, no, Lawson was also the greatest ever but they both were in two different categories in her opinion.
