The boy felt an urge to turn around right at that moment and give her a mile-long list of all the things he wanted out of her, but… if he did… she'd see he hadn't been crying at all! Oh drats. Now he really had to cry. But how could he, when this whole situation was so hilarious?! He wanted to laugh, not to cry! He wanted to throw himself to the floor and roll around in a fit of laughter. Aw man, he had no idea his acting skills were this good. But gah, he needed tears.

Blindly, Braeden's left hand and arm wandered over the table until accidentally knocking over a goblet filled with lemonade. Getting his hand wet as the drink fell, Braeden pulled back quickly and passed the wet hand over his face. There. Lemonade-flavoured tears.

Ready to face Melanie now, Braeden wiped the huge grin off his face and turned around slowly, putting on his best kicked-puppy face, allowing his brown eyes to go large and sparkly and his bottom lip to curve outward in a pout.

"You'll do… anything?" he asked slowly, faking a voice cracked from crying. Hopefully Melanie wouldn't notice that he'd somehow managed to get his 'tears' spread all over his forehead and nose and everywhere else that tears usually didn't fall.

Melanie really hated herself sometimes. Honestly! Why did she have to go and say that? She could have just walked away and left him there to sob for stupid reasons. She couldn't now, though. Not when he had that look on his face. Besides, if she did walk away, she would only feel bad about it afterward, and probably end up apologizing for "making him choke", anyway.

Sighing, the Hufflepuff shook her head at his question. "No, not anything. Something within reason." she clarified, frowning as she stared over at Braeden. He looked strange and shiny, like he had somehow managed to cry out of all of his pores, but Melanie didn't think anything of it. She figured Braeden had merely tried to wipe his face clean of tears, and ended up getting them all over his face.

Poor guy.

Braeden's brows furrowed and his jaw dropped slightly as Melanie quickly clarified herself, explaining that whatever he asked of her had to be within reason. "Aw c'mon, Mel, where's the fun in th--" he stopped abruptly. He was supposed to be sad and disappointed, not this eager to give her chores! "I--I mean... fine... I guess I could... find it in my heart to forgive you if you did something for me," he muttered like a scolded little boy.

The Gryffindor boy allowed his brown eyes to wander over to the table absentmindedly, passing by his plate, before turning back to Melanie. "Your first task for forgiveness will be to feed me," he said simply. "Since, apparently, I'm not capable of doing so correctly myself," he added, trying his best not to smile with amusement or smirk. The boy then pushed his plate, along with a fork and knife, over to Melanie's side. And then he opened his mouth expectantly.

His smirk turned into a wide grin when the she-snake kissed him and he gladly watched her as she filled the goblets with pumpkin juice. While doing so, remembering the letter, he thought of asking her the questions that sticked in his mind. They were really serious and important to him but he decided to ask them later on and picked the goblet to take a sip from the pumpkin juice.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!

When he heard the Slytherin's next words the boy laughed spurting the pumpkin juice out on the letter. ''Really?'' He was glad to hear that she was that interested in him though ''Okay then i promise i'll sit next to you when i bother to join a class''. Then he decided that he could say it now...again. Yes, he could.

Putting the goblet back on the table, the Gryffindor boy, at first, eyed her beautiful face then slightly moved towards her with a warm smile on his lips, close, too close, close enough to kiss her ignoring any possible glare or curious look that would come from people around them. Then slowly reaching to her hair he whispered ''I love you''

"That would be quite sneaky of you." She smirked, showing that she wasn't against his words as she took a sip from her own goblet. Not before taking a small sniff of it first. Just to make sure it didn't smell different, funny, or wrong…which could mean someone probably tampered with it. However, whenever he did decide to 'annoy the professor without disrespecting'. She wanted to see that happen.

Hmmm?

Cringing away as he spurt out his drink, the Slytherin girl frowned as she scooted away just a tad, not wanting to have any of it get on her clothes. Oh, and he got it all over the letter. Who was it from anyway? Raising a brow, she looked back to his handsome face to see if there were any signs that perhaps there was something wrong with the juice. But, no he was laughing. Hehe. Well, that relieved her some.

Nodding her head, she put her own goblet down, smiling at his promise. Mmhmm, that was a good promise, though the sudden closeness almost surprised her. Good thing she the goblet wasn't in her hand anymore. The smile on her face disappeared ever slowly, being overtaken by an almost serious expression though not quite a frown either. As he moved more towards her ear, her gaze moved past his shoulder to the others at the table, listening intently. With the closeness and the words, her heart may have skipped a bit, and the butterflies appearing in her stomach were…well she was still trying to get used to those. Smiling softly, she leaned just a bit closer, her lips near his own ear, and whispered, "I love you too." Her fears could just vanish for now.

Those words, felt so foreign coming from her. Will have to get used to that too.

"Coming to see me again" Rex teased Fee." I think you are a real cool girl" Rex told Fee. " Watch out for the "rickle monster" Rex laughed.

Haha. And that is how you eat without choking yourself, my friend.

I love you too…

Coming from the beautiful she-snake, of course, those words made the boy fell like he was the happiest person on earth. '’That’s good to know’’ So, the little smile on his face turned into a happy, wider one as he hugged the girl as if she’d fly away if he freed her. Mmm, she smelled lovely. The Gryffindor lover wanted to hug her like that forever. Buut anybody with an ordinary IQ level would know that it was not possible. And as a fact, Josh had more than the ordinary level which he was not really aware of. Therefore, after a few or more moments, he reluctantly moved away from the Slytherin.

Then he glanced around at the other students spotting another Slytherin girl there at the Gryffie table who seemed to be younger than them. And as he could see, she was sitting alone. A Slytherin sitting alone among a bunch of Gryffindors…interesting. Wait! Why interesting? Why was he even staring at other people? Or at a younger girl to be exact. Now this was quite unnecessary and pointless. Mentally scolding himself, the lion boy looked back at his beloved she-snake.

'’Why did you never warn me about your irresistible self?’’ Josh asked with a smirk, grabbed the goblet again and drank some of the liquid inside it while playing with one of the buttons of his shirt which caused it to be ripped off. There he had started to destroy even his school uniform. '’Ha? I have no idea why exactly that happened’’ he said examining the little button in his right hand. Yet the next moment he it threw it away '’Meh. Who cares? I don’t mind the others leaving my shirt either’’ And the image of his shirt with no buttons immediately reminded him of something funny that he decided to share with the Slytherin girl. '’You know what…’’ so he began '’I don’t remember when but once i told one of your housemates that i am the master of everything. Surprisingly she did not seem to believe me. Then i told that i can do anything to prove it. She agreed and, guess what, she asked me to run around in the school naked!’’

Hehehehehehe!

Laughing hard again, he was almost dropping the goblet.

Hehehehehehe!

Laughing hard again, he was almost dropping the goblet.

Pulling back, a shy smile on her face, it felt like forever before he finally spoke. But...well it was slightly unexpected what he said, if not confusing. That was good to know? She supposed...that would be a good thing...to know. Of course, she was over thinking things; probably expecting the worse to happen all the time wasn't a good thing to do. His smile was enough to say that he was happy. Right? And the hug. The great big hug!

Relaxing for a moment, she hugged him back, holding him close. Like she had a choice though, he was holding her pretty close as it was. Which was rather nice; no complaining from her.

After a few moments more, just enjoying the moment and forgetting the others were there, he pulled back and she found herself already missing his warmth, no matter the fact they were sitting as close as could be without her actually being on his lap. Yea, Professors probably wouldn't like that. However, his beautiful brown eyes weren't on her. A friend perhaps? Just a glance no doubt. Though the glance was...slightly longer then a glance. WHO was he staring at- Oh.

Just as she was turning her head to see who it was did he speak up again. "Irresistible?" she asked, the smiled reappearing on her lips, though much more softer. A warm smile that she wore quite often when she was younger. Hazel eyes watched as the button of his shirt...fell. Wha? "The threads were probably loose." More then likely, right? He'd probably been playing with that button often. Made it loose.

Huh?

Just staring at him as he spoke, the girl couldn't help but feel a little...weird about it all. Not because he was practically dared to streak around the school, but, Evelyn couldn't help but start to become a tad concerned that perhaps...well, he was rambling. Rambling wasn't good. Even if Josh rambled at extremely weird times, this was all just...so...random. "Are you..."

Hmm. She was going to ask if he was alright but, it hit her that perhaps she was once again, over thinking things. Biting her lip slightly, she didn't continue with her question, but instead after a moment, sighed and smiled. "Well, if you do, make sure it's midnight and no one is awake. I don't want to have to go around and blindfold every girl's eyes to keep them from staring." Merlin forbid Josh back down from a bet that questioned his...Masterness or whatever he wanted to call it. She didn't want girls staring. Pffft.

''Yes, irresistible'' the boy confirmed right after drinking all the juice in his goblet. ''You have no idea...'' then he placed the goblet on the letter and went on his words rather conversationally as if he was talking about something like the weather or classes or any ordinary thing. ''...what i have in my mind every time i look at you. It is almost impossible not to...'' Finally realising what he was saying, the Gryffindor stopped talking immediately and as he thought over what he was about to blurt out, he looked away from the girl.

Stupid! Stupid boy! That was quite embarrassing. Obviously he could not take the things he think and say under control when with her. He was being too honest. He usually could lie with ease to other people whenever he wanted. But everything was different when he was with Evelyn. For the sake of....everything, he hoped she would not take it wrong and get mad at him. Because there were also other things in his mind that he never thought of mentioning like the fact that he was ready to die for her.

''Sorry. I think i need to...to...whatever.'' It was hard to decide what he needed. So trying to forget this, he looked back at the girl to comment on her other words which relieved him some for it was the opportunity to change the topic ''Not to worry. I don't think i will really do it, not anymore. So you don't need to chase any girl.'' Plus he did not think she was ever going to need to worry about the other girls but if there were any other boys trying to flirt her, Josh would surely kick them.

''Umm...is there anything troubling you lately?''

Yes, change of topic.

Braeden's jaw snapped shut as Melanie refused to feed him. Whaaaaaaa'?! But--but-- but she had almost killed him! How could she not do what he said?! Did she not care to have his forgiveness?! His brows furrowed, his expression puzzled as he listened to the "evil" (from his point of view) Hufflepuff girl simply state that the only person she fed was herself. And then she had the audacity to eat his sandwich! HIS sandwich! What was he supposed to eat now!? Sure, there were plenty other things on the table, but Brae wanted his sandwich, not another one.

The boy watched his so-called friend chew the sandwich with a creased forehead, his bottom lip quivering slightly. How… how… how could she be so mean?! "You're so cruel to me, you know that?" said the boy before turning his face in the other direction and 'sobbing' once more. He would get Melanie to feed him even if it was the last thing he did! Alright, maybe that was a weird goal, but… Braeden was weird.

"Here you go," Kurumi smiled passing a nice big mug of hot chocolate to Helena. "My house elf friend, Twinkle, also gave me this bag of marshmallows for us to use too." Setting the bag of start shaped marshmallows on the table, Kurumi took a seat next to her new Slytherin friend.

As she sat down next to Kurumi, Helena looked around at the other Gryffindors. Okay, there weren't only Gryffindors but she still didn't feel exactly comfortable. "Thank you," she said, taking the mug of hot chocolate. This definitely made her feel better, feeling the warmth of the chocolate. And hot or not, she loved chocolate. But who doesn't?

Kurumi smiled and took a sip. She preferred green tea to hot chocolate, it was much healthier, but most people she met at Hogwarts could not drink it without making a sour face. "Really? Oh you really should visit the kitchens then! They are very hospitable," Kurumi explained dropping a few marshmallows into her mug. If she was going to drink something unhealthy, might as well go all out, right? "I go there often to bake cookies myself."

Helena listened carefully to everything Kurumi was telling her and nodded. "Magically or not, I still can't cook," she said, leaning her head down. Pulling her cookie journal and scribbling down a few notes.

"Cookie journal," Helena nodded, giggling. "I definitely need one." And a lot more cooking books, she thought. And why not, a guide how not to burn the kitchen while you cook.

She looked around blankly, then drank a bit of her hot chocolate again. "Do you have any pets here?" She suddenly asked. Why was she changing the subject? "I suddenly remembered about my owl and I started missing him."

She looked around blankly, then drank a bit of her hot chocolate again. "Do you have any pets here?" She suddenly asked. Why was she changing the subject? "I suddenly remembered about my owl and I started missing him."

"It's been a hobby of mine pretty much since I could stand," Kurumi blushed. Not to mention it brought out the best side of her mother whenever they baked together. It was during those times that her mother seemed to forget that he daughter was a witch and something that she feared.

"I do," she nodded with a slight frown. "Technically two," she explained as she pulled her pygmy puff from her pocket. "This is Momotaro. I have to keep him in my pocket at all times because of my cat."

Speaking of which...Walnut was probably in the area...

"Awww it's so cute!" Helena said, looking at her pygmy puff. It was so small and fuffly and squeaky and... adorable! "Where did you get it?"

And a cat? Helena looooved cats! "I would have bought a cat as well but I ended up buying a baby owl and I thought it wouldn't be the best idea to buy a cat as well..." But maybe when Hades will grow up... "I know it sounds crazy but I always liked the black cats. I don't believe they bring bad luck."

"My boyfriend gave it to me," Kurumi whispered as her cheeks began to flush. Her hair wasn't doing anything strange now was it? It often turned pink whenever she thought about Adam. No need to bring attention to herself. She was stressed out enough at it was. Still, just to be safe, Kurumi threw her hood over her head.

"Walnut is, well, unique," Kurumi sighed looking around to see if the stubby legged cat would show up. "He thinks he is king of the common room at the moment."

Just then, Kurumi felt something soft brush up against her leg. Looking down, Kurumi saw the bright golden eyes of her cat. "Speak of the devil," she giggled now wondering what she should do with Momotaro.

Helena giggled, then looked around to see if there was someone listening. "Aww you have a boyfriend?" She whispered. "Did something... happen?" She asked, as Kurumi threw her hood over her head.

Then, she heard something purr around. It was Kurumi's cat. Walnut, was it's name? "Hello, you adorable creature," she said affectionately. "Be careful with... uh, Mo... I didn't quite catch the name." Her cheeks were red now.

"I-I-I-I-I-Its no-no-nothing," Kurumi stammered pulling a few locks of hair in front of her face. Phew, still black and not a sign of it turning anything else. Trying to laugh it off, Kurumi removed her hood. "I thought I...saw a bee..." She was just about as good at lying as Adam was.

Walnut jumped onto the bench and sat down between the two girls with his tail swishing back and froth. Ah, so Kurumi had brought the pink chew toy with her. Eeeeeeeeeeeeexcellent...

"Walnut, meet Helena," she said introducing the feline to her friend. "Just don't say anything about his legs. He is rather sensitive about them," she said leaning in a bit and lowering her voice.

"Oh, you mean Momotaro," Kurumi smiled holding the pink cotton ball with eyes up in the air. "I named him after a legendary character in Japanese fiction."

Helena giggled, seeing Kurumi's reaction. "Your hair looks fine to me, if that was bothering you," she said, a smile spreading over her face. Okay, she knew the bee thing was not... well, no bees in the Great Hall. But she didn't say anything else about it.

"Oh, and it's nice to meet you, Walnut," Helena said, stroking Walnut's fur. "Momotaro, right," she repeated, trying to remember the name.

"Oh, um, erm, thanks," Kurumi blushed as she attempted to tame her hair as it had become a bit frizzy from her throwing her hood up in such a hurried fashion.

Kurumi smiled as Walnut began to purr. Best to put Momotaro back in her pocket where she was more confident he would be safe. She certainly did not like the way the cat was looking at the puff. "You can call him Momo if that is easier to remember," Kurumi offered as she opened up her rob for the pink ball to hide in. "I call him that sometimes."
