Emily sat at the Gryffindor table, ready for food. She was starving!

First, dessert!

Emily noticed a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries and grabbed one. Yum!
Another girl also thought so, as she had took about half of them.

"Hi" Emily smiled at the girl "You like chocolate then?" she laughed

"Wow, four times a week?" Sebastian asked, wondering how come the elves didn't get annoyed with her or something. Oh okay, well that explains it, they're hospitable, house elves. Hmm, he guessed that he must visit there sometime then...with Kurumi. He wouldn't go by himself, it would be awkward just standing there and asking the house elves to go make him food. He would be nice, polite and make Kurumi ask for him because she was practically on their good side, right?

"That would be great, thanks." He said with a grin. Good, so a trip to the kitchens sometime should be fun...for food. "I just haven't had the time to adventure around Hogwarts yet seeming as I just moved here from Italy." He stated, finishing his cup of orange juice.

Septimus looked up at a boy who could have only been in third or fourth year. To tell the truth, Septimus was feeling the opposite of alright, but he didn’t quite feel like discussing his problems he just met. But, it would be nice to have another friend. “Oh, sure. Just thinking,” he said, mustering a warm grin. “Just clearing my head, you know? I’m Septimus, by the way. Septimus Galen, first year Gryffindor.” He held out his hand for the boy to shake.

Ohhh the Gryffies table.Right now Fee was a little bored and hoped to find any of her friends here.She had so many Gryffie friends, at least one of them should be here, right?! And with thinking of it Rubies popped up in her head.Where was the Gryffie bestie?!The blonde hadnt seen her at Diagon Alley or at the train or even the feast. What was going on?!Hopefully everything was okay and they just kept missing eachother.

Maybe once classes started they would meet up.They actually had to because they went to the same classes,right?!If not fee would be super worried.

"Hi. Septimus.I'm Adam Burn- 3rd year."Adam said shaking Septimus' hand. Afterwords he took a seat and looked at the boy for a second or three before it became rude he glanced the hall.
"Well that's good. Thinking. It clears out all your thoughts."Adam wasn't quite sure on what to say. This Septimus seemed like he wanted to be alone on purpose and he wasn't quite the nice one.

Septimus could tell Adam wasn't exactly sure what to say to him. But that was alright. Septimus didn't know what to say either. He never was very charismatic. But it was he who began the conversation.
"So are you from Britain?" he asked, sounding more friendly now his mood had calmed. "I myself am from Italy."

"You're italian. I only have one other friend who is from Italy.Yes, Oxfordshire to be exact."Adam answered with a nod.
Septimus was trying to make conversation, and Adam was glad there wasn't a awkward silence, at least, not anymore.Because awkward silences were just plain awkward.
"So you're 11 then?"

Septimus nodded. "I'll be turning 12 on the 18th of November. You're a... 4th year?" he asked. He was glad that he had a distraction. And who knows, maybe Adam could help. But in the meantime, Septimus was going to focus on becoming friends with Adam. It always got a little lonely with just his cat, Skarlo.

"Nope. I'm a 3rd year- 13 years old in age.
I'll be 14 on the 15th of July,I love Summer birthdays-leaves so many things for us to do on this our day of birth.
So got any pets?"Adam asked. A pet conversation seemed more interesting than talking about weather or house and year in Hogwarts.

"Well, I have one," Septimus replied. "Ah, here he comes now." he said as a small black cat jumped up on the seat next to Adam. "His name's Skarlo. What about you? Do you have a pet?"

"Skarlo. Do you know if the name has any meaning behind it?Yes, I do have a cat. Tigger Burn- he's in the common room sleeping right now.
If I see you in there later, I'll show you Tigger."Adam said, petting the black cat that had hopped next to him.
He had always heard black cats were bad luck- or was that just for friday the 13th? Adam didn't really know, but just to make Septimus feel comfortable he petted the young boys cat.

"Well, it sort of means something. It's a word I made up. Yeah, I do that when I get bored. But the word skarlo means... uh, how do i explain it? It's like a coincidence which is so bizarre and insane that sometimes you don't even believe it. That's kind of what happened with me and Skarlo, but that's a long story. Maybe later in the common room. And I'd like to see Tigger when that happens. So, what's your family like?"

Adam fidgeted when Septimus asked about his family.He wasn't quite sure of where he stood on the line with this Septimus, so he wanted to know abit more about him, or at least feel more at ease, before he revealed anything that had to do with his parents.
"Both my parents are muggles. And I have no siblings, I am a only child and only person to have ever gone to Hogwarts. You?"

"I don't have any siblings either. Just me and my dad." Septimus could see that Adam was a bit uncomfortable with the discussion of family. He wasn't exactly sure about telling Adam the full details just yet so he was happy to change the subject. "So, do you have any cool hobbies? Mine is drawing."

"I drum. I'm a drummer. And i play quidditch, even though I am not on the team , yet."Adam said chuckling as he added in that he was expecting to be in the team.
"Drawing? A few of my friends do that. Is there a certain type of drawing you like to make-landscape, cartoons, anime?"Adam asked, he was horrible- best he could do was stick figures.

"Anime mostly. So do you play in like a band or something? I'm a bit of a musician myself every now and then. I do a little guitar, but I'm mostly an artist."

"Anime is pretty cool."Adam said nodding his head.
"Nah I don't. But a few of my friends and I are thinking of starting a band here at Hogwarts, I'll be the drummer, we'll have a flutist and pianist and ukulele player.You can join-if it ever starts up."Adam offered Sep.

"Really? That'd be great! So who else is going to be in the band? Maybe I know them."

"Italy?!" Kurumi squeaked with interest. She wondered if he knew Sophia. "Is it true that the pizza is best there?" Kurumi had read that in a book somewhere. Or maybe she had heard it from one of her brothers who had dated an Italian woman for a little when he had been stationed there for a short term on assignment from the Ministry. "I'm from Japan," she smiled. "If I hadn't gotten lost last term, I probably wouldn't know where the kitchens were." She giggled. Thank Merlin for her lack of sense in direction.

"A first year named Selina.Three second years, one of them being me, the pianist is Kurumi and the ukelel player will be Hugo .I think a band is managable with three people. Three man band.Do you wish to join?"Adam asked, he seemed, Sep, interested with the idea.

"Yes! Of course yes! Wow, that is so cool! So what's the band called? Do you know yet?" Suddenly Sep realized something. "Hey... hey, I didn't notice until right now but... don't we look a lot alike?"

"Well we haven't even talked about it. We were just saying we should make one- though no one has done anything yet to talk further about it...
I guess we do look a bit alike."Adam said, not really sure where Septimus was going with this."Why?"

"I dunno. It's just... well, who knows? It's probably just a coincidence but... hey, maybe we're like cousins or something! Do you know anyone in your family with the last name of Galen?"

"No. We're the Burns. And my cousins names are Galeians..."Adam said.
Cousin Flynn was pretty cool and random crazy at times, Adam enjoyed spending most of his free time with Cousin Flynn.
"Their last name is spelt different than yours...Id Galen your last name?"Adam asked. He didn't remembering hearing Septimus' last name being mentioned earlier.

"Yeah, it's G-A-L-E-N. Hmm." Suddenly something struck him. "Wait, was your mother ever married to someone else before she married your father?"
