Gryffindor House Table
 

Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.

The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:

Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace
Solid friendships forming
People so full of grace
Rockin' the competition
In a race for the house cup
Doing everything we can
Earning points to keep us up
Reeling for a win
Us Lions gettin' it done
Loyality guiding us through
Everyone working as one

Ruby made her way to the Gryffindor table (that was was the right one, wasn't it?) and slumped down on the bench. Cupping her face in her hands, she made a face at the food spread before her, as if it was worth puking over. But really, the food looked delicious--Ruby was just being obnoxious and stubborn.
Looking up, she noticed that the ceiling was enchanted--"OH, how beautiful!," She said in a very sarcastic tone. And then finished the look with a roll of her eyes.
This place had to be more boring that a prison, if that was possible. I mean, she definitely wasn't going to classes, puh-lease, and everyone here seemed to not be her type. Why had her father had made her come here?!
Angrily, she stuck a fork in some eggs and then groaned loudly.

Evangeline walked into the Great Hall, and glanced around. There weren't very many people sitting at the Slytherin table, and none that she yet knew. So she walked down towards the other tables, in search of someone that she knew, not that there were really that many so far. Not finding anyone she knew, Evangeline decided to sit down at the Gryffindor table near a girl that didn't look very happy. "I have to say, you look rather bored." She pointed out, her american accent showing, of course.

Well, Raven is back at the great hall, beside making stomach full before anything else is not bad, and actually good for him.

"Yesterday is a feast, let see what is breakfast today" Raven say
Raven is still amaze when a plate of food appeared out of somewhere, follow by juices and tea, egg, hotdogs, and more, enough to fill a belly of an eleven year old boys.
"Hmmm, nice cook, automatically appearing food", Raven want to see a House elf but no one shows to him

"That's because the house elves are only in the kitchens," Kurumi said leaning across the table to speak with Raven. She had been up rather early reading more books in the library and doing family research. Also, she needed to make sure that Walnut stayed away from Momotaro and that meant leaving the cat in the common room and sticking the pygmy puff in her robe's pocket. "Oh, Raven, I'd like you to meet Momotaro," she said reaching into her other pocket and pulling out her new pet.

"Hi, Kurumi, good morning" *looking to fygmy puff, amazed what is animal is it* "What is that, a pet? What is the name again --Momotaro?"
*he bit an egg, sipping tea --he like coffee*

"Pygmy Puff," Kurumi repeated giving Momotaro a few more Eskimo kisses and the tiny fluff ball cooing slightly. "They are miniature Puffskeins. Isn't he adorable? Adam gave him to me last night." Kurumi set the pink ball on the table. "Momotaro," she nodded. "You got it correct."

"Pygmy puff huh, I see, like pop corn --Momotaro like Hamtaro" Raven teasing
"so how about your tabby walnut" Raven ask
*he pick some hotdog and bit it*

"More like Momotaro, the popular hero from Japanese folklore," she laughed saying in a matter of fact tone. "Walnut is up in the common room...he...doesn't really get on well with this guy yet. Seems to think he is a ball to play with."

"Well, it look like ball anyway --or maybe jealous" Raven say, sipping tea
"so what the plan for today?"

"Doing some research in the library," Kurumi winked sticking her tongue out.

"You such a bookworm, Kurumi --yesterday I found you reading" Raven said

"But I'll go to library today too, just trying to find some useful book and of course to see what the library looks like" Raven's hand is moving to emphasize his saying

"Which is exactly why I sometimes wonder why I wasn't sorted into Ravenclaw," she giggled eating the remains of her toast with strawberry jam on it. "I am doing a bit of research in the library, family business," Kurumi said rather lightheartedly despite the heavy implications.

investigation = research
 

"Don't worry, I didn't pestering you in the library, I prefer solo in my investigation" Raven honestly said

"Perhaps you subject matter is different from mine" Raven smiling naughty

*Raven finish his breakfast* "err, do you have cookie for me" Raven say his stomach is full but adding some cookie isn't bad.

"You are welcome to pester me if you want," she laughed. "But, if I am making this face," she made a face kind of like an angry monkey. "That is my concentration face, so you probably shouldn't approach me."

Kurumi raised an eyebrow at Raven. What was her Gryffir brother up to? He better not get himself into trouble. "Am I going to have to keep an eye on you and make sure you don't go wandering off into the restricted section?" She had probably just opened an new can of worms by mentioning it. She needed to remember who she was talking to.

"It just so happens I do," she winked. Not like she was going to be his personal cookie girl. That right was reserved for Adam and, well, all of Hogwarts really. "Here," she said handing him one of her Autumn Apple Cookies she had made the previous night. "They taste kind of like apple pie."

Raven shows rumpled face "hey, what is for that feature, very scary"

"Promise" *raising left hand intentionally, swearing* "I didn't get a detention in my first day, beside the librarian is our head of house, I didn't want to humiliate her, yes, in our first meeting, duh" Raven figurative smile

*he took the unique cookie, bit a little, just to taste, and yes its tasty, finish it in one big bite* "Yummy, wonderful cookie Mistress, Griffin big sister we have" Raven flattery "I know that not for me it's for somebody else" Raven say sweetly

Kurumi rolled her eyes and laughed. Raven was both adorable and a handful. Was this what it was like to be a prefect but for several hundred more students? She was going to have to make extra cookies for them.

"The cookies? Oh, no, no one in particular," Kurumi said shaking her head. "Just to share with my friends. It was a new recipe I came up with over the summer and wanted to try them out."

"Okay, that perfect to share to them" Raven said, looking over to other house table having few people, grinning.
*Raven didn't know how he feel very comfortable giving line to Kurumi, is that sign of eagerness for having a sister, well maybe they both Lions*

Kurumi smiled at Raven as she finished off the remains of her milk. "Well, I think I am going to head to the library," she said to the boy picking up her book bag.

"Okay, I'll be on other side, strolling from and to Hogwarts vicinity, maybe before heading to Library --bye Kurumi, see you later then" Raven said and prepare to take off

Sophia slumped down at her table, exsausted. She grabbed a bowl full of ice cream, and started to eat it slowly. It just didn't taste like the ice cream se was used to, but it was still quite delicious. Chocolate was always her comfort food. She looked around, hoping to see a farmilar face, but all she saw were people she didn't know.

Adam walked into the Great Hall- with a somewhat renewed spirit. Perhaps it had been his private visit with Kurumi that had changed him for the moment.Finally he saw a blonde girl he hadn't talked to for several months.
"Sophia. How are you?
Oh ice cream..."Adam said, licking his lips.

Sophia continued to eat her ice cream when she heard her name being called. "Adam!" she said, a little happier. It would be nice not having to it by herself. "Oh, fine." she said, with a weak smile. "Exsausted." she said, with a dark chuckle. "Yea, their ice cream is pretty good." she said, smiling. "I recommend trying it." she said, laughing quietly.

Adam grabbed a spoon off the table and scooped some up and eat it, or more let the cream melt in his mouth.But after a few bites Adam had realized Sophia did not sound her sassy sarcastic self, she sounded a bit down. Halfway through his 6 spoonful he stopped.
"Good . Good.
Umm, Sophia, are you alright?"

Sophia sighed. "Yea, it just was a, well, bad summer." she said, vaguely. She wanted to tell someone what had happened, but was she ready? She would start to cry if she had to talk about it. It was terrible. "If you really want to know, I'll tell you what happened." she said, sternly.
