Yep. Adam was very easy to read. She went over to the cookie sheet and placed the remaining cookies on a plate. "You won't burn your hand now," she laughed. "They have cooled down a lot."

Kurumi nodded. She was glad that she had run into Edmond and the others. Baking was fun, but it was definitely something that was even better with others. "I come down here often and Twinkle always has my supplies ready," she said winking at the house elf.

for potions homework

Kurumi had found herself unable to stop dancing since potions class had been out. What was worse was that she just felt she had to dance with every person she crossed paths with. When the other person was also glowing a color, they didn't seem to mind, but others...well...once the affects of the potion wore off Kurumi had probably made a few enemies...or at least made some people think she was totally out of her mind.

When she entered the kitchen, she was greeted by her house elf friend, Twinkle, and she immediately picked the wrinkly creature up and started ballroom dancing with her. The poor house elf had no idea what was going on and kept saying "Miss Kurumi? Miss Kurumi!" over and over again until Kurumi finally put the poor thing back on the ground as she began leaping around the kitchen as if she were in a ballet.

"Lalalala~~~~~~~," she sang as she gathered her cooking supplies and ingrediants. "Today♪I♪think♪I♪will♪bake♪something♪that♪takes♪a lot♪of♪effort♪today!" She continued to sing and even starting singing out the ingrediants and her dance turned into something the was like the cha cha. "1/3 cup toasted hazelnuts♪cha cha cha! 2 tablespoons unsweetened Cocoa Powder ♪cha cha cha! 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour♪cha cha cha! 1/8 teaspoon salt♪cha cha cha! 1 cup unsalted butter♪cha cha cha! 3/4 cup granulated white sugar♪cha cha cha! 1 large egg♪cha cha cha! 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract♪cha cha cha! 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest♪cha cha cha!"

The poor house elves working in the kitchen didn't know what to do. They were all usually so helpful whenever Kurumi came to bake cookies. Today, perhaps because she was still glowing violet, they were avoiding her as long as possible. In fact, unless she directly asked one of them for help, they ignored her as best they could.

"First we preheat the oven~~~" she continued to sing. "Now to remove the skins on the hazelnuts~~~~." It was like Kurumi was singing in an opera all about baking cookies. She continued to dance around the room and sing at the top of her lungs until all her ingrediants were mixed and cookies were in the oven. While she waiting for them to finish baking, she insisted that the house elves join her for a traditional Japanese dance in the center of the kitchen. One could not be sure who was more happy to hear the timer go off on the oven, the house elves because the dancing was done for them or Kurumi because she leaped across the room and did a few flips along her way to the oven. She then pulled out her cookies and found them to be baked perfectly. She continued to dance around until the cookies were cool enough to put into a purple box she had brought with her.



"My♪cookies♪are♪dooooooooooooooooooooone!" she sang as she danced around handing one to each of the house elves before twirling out of the kitchen. "I♪must♪shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare♪!"

"Yeah, I'm sorry too. I just wish he would talk to me instead of ignoring me" or using me to get away from someone. Marie said. Because seriously, if something didn't happen soon she was going to move on with her life, without him in it because he was making it pretty clear that he was moving on without her.

"Thanks," she said taking the ice cream from Mia. She took a bite then started playing with the ice cream with her spoon. Talking about Carter had made her pretty much lose her appetite, something that happened a lot when she had Carter on her mind. "Meet new people... I have, I met you didn't I." She knew it would probably do her some good to meet new people but she just didn't know if she was in the mood to do that now.

Cam laughed and watched the brunette munch on her chocklit. Such a hypocrite was her best friend. "Is it? Cos of my chocklit?" She'd been enjoying that!

And then came the lecture. She giggled. Oh Merlin..
"Says she while stuffing her face with chocklit," She muttered while rolling her eyes. *giggle*
... Carrots and chocolate? Ewe.."I'm not willing to go that far for chocklit.." She wasn't that desperate.

Hahaha. Lori made her smile. "Obviously." No one disagreed with Lori..

Squiiiiiiiiiish! Cammy eyed her friend. "That's no excuse, I miss your glitteryness." Even if it hurt her eyes at times, she missed her Lolly. "It is odd, aye, that we're all Prefects.." Or had some sort of responsibility role. Since when had Cam become such s goody goody? Erk..

Awww! "Can weeee?" Rounds with Lolly would be mega fun..
She squishled her a little more. That was sweet but.. Talking about the Tournament was daunting. It made Cam scared..

Prefecting. *giggleSNORT* "There's no problem with dealing chocklit.. You just want free paraphernalia!" Or what Lori considered so. *snicker*
"Are they Huffies?" It seemed the type of thing they would do.

"So, my glitter!puff, how has life been treating you, hmm?" Because it was time she stopped being so selfish..

Arya hadn't realized just how hungry she was until they had stepped through the portrait and the aromas of the cooking food hit her nose. It was a shame she wasn't able to eat her lunch before, but at least she was able to eat now. Whatever her heart desired. Unlinking her arms from the both of them, she skipped over to were the frozen treats were kept and pulled out some ice cream.

Taking it to one of the tables, she grabbed three spoons and opened the ice cream. Holding out the other spoons for the both of them. "Want some ice cream?"

Where once thinking that the smell of the food would entice his stomach into wanting to consume something, he was slightly disappointed when he entered the kitchen only to find it wasn't the case. Arya nearly instantly booked it over to the ice cream, pulling out a tub that appeared as if it could last the whole night, drawing a small smile to his lips.

Slowly, he moved over and sat down beside her, relieved simply to be off his feet and that the day had finally, hopefully, stopped moving. A polite decline of the ice cream later and his good arm was folded on top of the table, his head finding rest upon his forearm. He wouldn't be able to sleep, but at least he could rest a little.

Slowly spooning ice cream into her mouth, the small girl looked at her friend. Really looked at him. He looked horrible; as bad as she had felt when they ran into each other on the grounds. Pulling the ear muffs and beanie off her head, she placed them on the table beside the tub of ice cream.

"Do you want anything to eat, Sabel?" Her voice was soft, eyes full of worry. Did he just want to sleep again. For some reason she felt like they were on the train again. Her wanting to talk, and him wanting to rest. This time though, she would let him rest. He had been through enough, and she could always speak with him later.

Lexi went over and took it upon herself to ask the house elves if she could have a bowl of chicken soup and they seemed happy enough to oblige. Hehe. Nice elves they were. Indeed.

Going back to join Arya and Sabel she frowned at Sabel and said, "You look awfully peeky... you should eat something, Sabel. The elves can fix you anything you like." She wanted to nurse the poor boy back to health since he looked like death.

A lovely little elf then brought Lexi a tankard of pumpkin juice and she smiled and thanked her kindly as she took a deep drink from it. She sat eyeing Sabel waiting for him to talk to her about somehting. She FELT that something was wrong with him, but maybe he just didn't want to tell her. That hurt since she thought they were friends and all. Meh.

Mmm. Finn was hungrry, and Lexi had mentioned to him about the house elves being all nice and giving food to them, which was why he was heading down to the kitchens. Although he did hope that he would manage to find the way back up to the tower, because he didn't really feel like being lost again. At least he'd managed to find his way down to the kitchens.
As he walked in he got a pleasent surprise. There was Lexi herself. "Lex." He smiled at her, before glancing at the other two people who were there. "hey..." They must have been friends of Lexi's.

What was it, with people saying that someone should eat when they weren't hungry? Eyeing his two friends tiredly, he reminded himself he had done the same for Raiden and chalked it up to an unspoken pact between friends to annoy one another until the desired effect was achieved; all in good intention though.

Letting out a soft breath, he wearily reached over and picked up Arya's beanie hat, giving it a good once over. "Honestly...I'm fine for now...not...really hungry." Eyes flicking between his two friends he gave them both as much of a smile as he could manage. "But thank you."

Not entirely sure on what compelled him to do so, he then decisively (though no real understanding was present as to why) pulled Arya's orange beanie hat right down over his head. That was about the time someone else walked into the kitchen and to their seating area. With a slightly dumb expression, and hands still clutching either side of the hat, Sabel blinked up from under it's brim at the newcommer. "Howdy....."

YAYAYAYAYA!! Lexi hopped up from her seat and threw herself at Finlay practically. "Hey there!" she said as she leaned back enough to look at his face while still hugging him tightly. She wasn't sure WHY she was so glad to see him, but she was indeed. She gave him a quick kiss and said, "These are my friends, Arya and Sabel. Guys, this is my Finn... I mean my boyfriend, Finn." She giggled slightly and blushed a little.

Lex eyed Sabel and let it drop. If he refused to eat then sobeit... she couldn't make him. But she would be no kind of friend if she didn't try. She would have to talk with him in the common room sometime and see what his problem was. She was deeply concerned for him.

Finn was a bit alarmed when Lexi practically threw herself at him. He wrapped his arms around her, giving a big hug. Lexi really was something to be honest. He was happy though, that she was happy to see him, that was pretty epic, but most girls were happy to see him, not that he'd mention that to Lexi, not if he wanted to continue Living. Unwrapping his arms from her, he slipped his hand into hers, before looking at her friends. "Hey...it's nice to meet you."

Her eyes flicked briefly between Sabel and her beanie as she watched him pull the thing over his head. It defiantly fit him better than it fit her, though that wasn't surprising since the thing had once belonged to her big brother. He still didn't want to eat, but he needed to. He had just dueled and gotten injured by Danika. That alone had to have taken a lot out of him; not to mention the detention with Lafay.

Ah. The boy she had seen him with the other day. Arya kinda hopped they wouldn't be all mushy faced the whole time. The last thing she needed was to lose her appetite for a second time today. "Hey, Finn." She smiled at the boy before spooning more ice cream into her mouth.

"You have to wear the earmuffs with that," She stated after a moment, eyes back on her sullen looking friend. "Cause they're a pair now." Picking up the earmuffs, she sat up a bit on her stool and gently placed them on his head. Giving him a small smile, she settled herself back in her seat.

Ah boyfriend. That would explain the glompage. Taking his hands from the beanie to reduce the ridiculous look he was sporting at least a little, he gave the other boy a small smile and weak wave as he dropped his chin back on his arm folded once again on the table. "Hey." Big-brotherly evaluation would have to wait for another day.

Especially considering how distracted he became from the other kid's presence, when he felt earmuffs close about his head. Very warm and very cosy, it felt like he had just put a pillow over his head, and he couldn't help but close his eyes a little. "You trying to put me to sleep, Miss Lovegoods?"

"Nooo," She responded, a grin slowly growing on her face. At least some of his sense of humor seemed to be returning. "Just adding the finishing touches on your head wear." She took another bite out of her ice cream, eyeing him as he attempted to slowly drift off to sleep. Without eating. As much as he needed to sleep, he needed to eat as well. "You can't go to sleep without eating something, Mr. Dakest."

"Hmmghh,' grumbled Anna, her pudgy hands pushing the door open. She slipped in, ignoring the random people around her. She stomped off and opened a cabinit. Anna pulled out a bag of Cheetos, several Milano cookies, and as well as a jumbo sized Chips ahoys. Then she wandered over to a second cabinit. Anna pulled out a bottle of Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, and a minie pack of Sprite. Then she opened the oven and pulled ot two trays of pumpkin pasties, one tray of brownies, a four layer cake, and thirty-six cupcakes that said You're turning Five! And lastly, Anna stumbled over to the fridge and pulled out twelve apple pies and a whole nine cases of butterbeer. She dumped it all into her Juicy Coture tote bag. Anna took one last look in the fridge and grabed a foot long salami, beef jerky, ham, turky, bacon, cheese and pickle sanwich. She grabbed a 6-pound sack of candy that said Halloween on it. Oh well, it all was hers now. Anna waved her wand and zapped her snacks back up to her dorm. That would be finished by Tuesday.

“You know boys are stupid, right?” Mia giggled a little as she spooned some more ice cream into her mouth. She was hoping that comment would get a smile out of Marie. But truth be told boys could be dense sometimes. “Just ignore him back then.”

Mia was starting to realise that she was getting caught in the middle of this situation and she really didn’t want to. She liked Marie and she liked Carter and she didn’t want to have be choosing sides.

Placing the spoon into the ice cream, Mia looked at Marie. “Yes but I am only one person. You do realise how many students are at Hogwarts? Would you like me to introduce you to some of the people I have met?”

From her seat, Cass noticed Kurumi baking a fresh batch of cookies "Hey Kurumi. Yummy looking cookies"

Josephina was totally having some late night cravings despite that fact that at her age, she was well aware of the price of eating past 9pm. She blamed though on being unable to sleep and the fact that she totally still had to finish her lesson plans for her next lesson. It was making progress but there was something missing and she couldn't quite put finger on it. Hence the reason for her after-hours visit to the kitchen, where she would sneak some warm pumpkin juice and a slice of Shepard's Pie. Maybe even a couple treacle tarts too. She was rather hungry and needed the energy to finish writing her plans.

And grading homework assignments.

Sliding into the kitchen, the Arithmancy barely noticed the couple students in there as she walked toward the fridge and pulled out a container of pumpkin juice. Pouring some into a saucepan, she proceeded to warm it up, yawning occasionally. Perhaps she ought to skip the lesson plans and sleep, finishing the plans in the morning?

As Emmaleigh left the cozyness of her common room, she was hit by a wall of freezing cold air. Good thing she had her blanket. She walked up to the painting of the fruit, and gave the pear a little "scratch behind the ear" and stepped inside the kitchen as soon as it opened. Man was she hungry. She looked around, what did she want to eat?

Freya was so hungry. She hasn't eat anything since this morning. So she decided to make a trip to the kitchen. A light snack sound tempting. She tickled the pear and slowly entered the Kitchen and took a seat. She saw the house elf were very busy preparing something. She saw a lot of cookies on the table but she never like something that sweet it wasn't her thing, So she decided to ask the house elf for fruit salad and pumpkin juice.

While waiting for her salad, she saw a girl next to her. "Hello there. Craving for something too?" she smiled greeting the girl

Emmaleigh had been so absorbed in her thoughts about what to eat that she didn't even notice the other girl walk in. That is, untill she spoke to her. Em gave a little jump, and looked over at her. "Oh, y-yeah," she said shyly. "I'm s-starved, but i'm not s-sure what I w-want." She gave her a smile before adding "Oh, and I'm E-emmaleigh."

Freya saw the girl jump a little when she heard her voice. "Sorry if I scared you" she said with apologetic smile. "Nice too meet you Emmaleigh. I'm Freya." she said. "I love your name it's really unique." she smiled. "Are you a first year too?" she asked. The girl looked like the same age as her.

"Oh, It's ok, I j-just zoned out. Thinking about f-food you know" she said as she gave the girl a smile. Em blushed a little at the compliment to her name. "T-thanks, I think my m-mom wanted to make it as c-complicated as possible. I like your name too, I don't t-think I've ever heard it b-before." Emmaleigh gave a nod, "Yep," and then after a moments pause she added, "I'm in Hufflepuff." She had to add that since she wasn't in her robes, but wrapped up in a blanket.
Em finally decided that fruit was probably her best option, so she headed walked over to one of the many counters, and picked up sever different types of fruit, and placed them in her pockets. She looked at Freya and asked, "So, what's your f-favorite class so far?"

"I see. I thought I scared you" Freya said smiling. "Yeah your name is kinda complicated. Can i call you Emma?I don't think I could memorize your full name easly. I'm not good at memorizing." she laughed. "Oh a badger?I'm first year too. Snake" she said giggling. Hmm..Her favorite subject? "Hmm..My favorite subject is Divination" she said. "What's yours?" she asked

"Yep, you c-can call me Emma, or Em, or Emms, what e-ever you like." She said with a smile before adding, "Yeah, my full, full name is even more c-complicated. It's Emmaleigh Aryn Swynford" She gave a small giggle. "Its super long, and e-everything is spelt funny." And hmm, another snake, Interesting. It seemed like most of her friends were in Slytherin, or Hufflepuff its self.
She took a bite of one of the apples she had picked up. "I like Divination too! Professor Reynolds makes it interesting. But I think my favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures. I like all of the animals, even if Professor Salyen is kinda scary." but then again, she wasn't as scary as Lefay. But Em didn't know how Freya felt about her HOH so she kept that part to herself.
