"Is it cool there?" Ed asked, intrigued. He kept mixing and quite enjoyed it. Was that wrong? Eh. "I'm from Wiltshire, England." he answered, "I bet Japan is a lot more intersting though," he grinned.

"I am jealous of you guys being from England," she smiled back as she finished her sifting. "This place is just as interesting as anywhere else. Japan is...OK, I suppose," she smiled looking over at Adam. She didn't want to get into that discussion again. She did like her home and her country, it was some of the people who were a problem. "My home is right by a river and we have a giant cherry tree in the yard. Spring is a beautiful time of year." She checked his bowl again. "Ah! You are almost done. Just two more lumps and then you are finished and we can add the eggs and lemon zest...if Adam finishes."

"Im workin I'm workin..."Adam said hastily. Now he peeled even faster, watching her and Edmond talk , he listened closely in case Edmond got too personal with Kurumi's life. Adam knew how she didn't discuss her home life to many people, only those who she trusted and she had only just met Edmond. "There, finishito."

"We should trade countries then," Ed said jokingly. "Yeah, I'd vote Hogwarts ten times better than Wiltshire." He grinned. Except for the times when he was trying to be friendly, but then someone else took it as flirting, he didn't like that. "That's nice. Mine has a lake in the very back," he really missed his lake. It was a place he could think peacefully. Edmond looked down and saw there were two lumps left. "Ha! This is so cool." he smiled widely and kept mixing. This could be his first batch of cookies. Just, hopefully his father won't find out or else...

"Perfect," she said taking the lemon from Adam and checking on Edmond's bowl again. "And you are perfect as well." She took his bowl and added the zest just as Twinkle had come with the eggs. She added those as well along with some vanilla. "OK, now who wants to mix this?" she asked holding the bowl out for one of them to take.

"I will I always loved mixing all the ingredients, and tasting the raw dough."He said with a evil smile. He snatched the bowl out of her arms, placed it on the counter and started stirring in a circle motion. "AHHHH....I'm gettin guns, look."Adam said flexing his arm muscles.

Kurumi rolled her eyes. At least Adam was getting back to his old self. "Just be careful that those guns of yours keep the dough in the bowl," she smiled handing the other bowl with the dry ingrediants to Edmond. "Once Adam is done mixing, can you add this into creamed mixture add milk every once in a while? Only 1/2 cup of milk and not all at once." Kurumi went over to the oven to pre-heat it.

Edmond nodded at Kurumi, letting her know that he understood. This time he wasn't going to forget because he didn't want to be scolded by the guy with the guns. "Yes, mam." he said, going over the directions in his head again.

Kurumi smiled as she finished preheating the oven and had Twinkle hold a cookie sheet while she greased it. When that was done, she set it down beside the boys and had three spoons ready for them to start scooping the mixture. Hopefully...the process of all three of them scooping delicious cookie batter would calm them both down.

OH! She had nearly forgotten! The blueberries! She rushed over to the basket and quickly washed them with running water. Using magic for something as simple as cooking was something she just could not bring herself to do. With the blueberries all clean and looking delicious, she threw them into the mix as Adam and Edmond continued to stir things together. Yes, the air seemed to be lightening between the two. Ah, the power of cookies.

Mia placed placed her elbows onto the table and rested her chin on her hands while she listened to Marie explain the situation between herself and Carter. To say that she was confused would have to be the understatement of the year.

Okay she got why Marie had been upset over Carter kissing Destiny but that had been because of the love potion and surely Marie knew that was the reason why he had kissed Destiny.

But the reason why Destiny gave Carter the potion didn't sound right. She sat there for a moment trying to remember what Carter had told her and for the life of her she couldn't remember what he had said. Mia wasn't even sure that he had told her the reason why Destiny had given him the love potion.

Looking up at Marie, Mia gave her a smile. "I'm really sorry that you and Carter are having these problems and I really wish that I could help you out but I don't know all the details of what is going on and to be honest I don't know whether I am the right person to be giving out advice." She hopped off her stool and went to the freezer and took out a couple of tubs of ice cream and handed one to Marie.

"You know what you need to do?" She said digging into the ice cream with a spoon. "You need to go out and meet some new people." Mia placed the spoon into her mouth.

Mmmm treacle fudge.

Chuckling softly, Lori nodded. "Much better." She answered, with a grin. And then she grabbed for Camelot's chocolate, and sat eating it herself. Much, much better. Hehe.

... Oh, Camelot. "That's not good! It just means you're more likely to eat more of it during the week! BAD CAMELOT!" But... good idea. Very good idea. Didn't mean Lori approved. "You should eat carrots and stuff... Put chocolate spread on it. Healthy chocolate! It makes chocolate GOOD FOR YOU!" Or so Lorelai had decided she would believe. It was a good idea. Much like Cammy's, but BETTER.

Giving her best friend a smile, Lori grinned. "Obviously. " Camelot was too important to be fat, too. She just... didn't know it yet. She was a CHAMPION! And a Prefect, and most of all... she was one of Lorelai Bristols best friends! What an achievement.

Wasn't Camelot cute? Lori wanted to just squish!squish!squish her right now. It was inevitable! So, when the redhead let her go, Lori listened to what she had to say, and hugged her tiiiiiiiight again, before speaking in reply. "So are we all... We're all so... so busy. It doesn't help that all our remaining friends are seventh years.. most of them Prefects, too. Maybe we could do a few rounds together, yeah? And then some studying. Possibly some preparation together, for your... you-know-what. I'm your biggest fan, if that helps!" And that totally meant Adam was a fan aswell. Wasn't Lorelai GOOD? Oh. Glitter!Poodle was a fan aswell. But he didn't count as much in this conversation.

Snorting as she let Camelot go ... finally, let her go. "I'm gonna ask them to give me a supply for free! Duh. Promise I wont bust them, in return for free supplies. It's only for a term anyways. I'll tell Ced at the end of the term about it, let him deal with it..." Because she wasn't a meanie. But he was.

Yes. She'd remember how she knew him. -.-

Keeley skipped cheerfully into the kitchens with a mission on her mind. CUPCAKES! After all, cupcakes tended to mark some of the most awesomest times of her little life. Like cupcakes with the twins in India or Bella in New York, or the Ravenclaw party with gummy bears, and of course... the Cupcake!Capers. Ahhh.. memories. Hehe. She spotted some firsties baking something or other, but approaching them might be unwelcome. Plus, they were talking about flirting and dating and whatnot, and that's just odd for firsties. Seeing as Keeley had never dated at all during her four years at school, eleven year olds and romance was- weird. But whateva!

Pulling out all of the ingredients needed for her soon to be freaking awesome cupcakes, like flour and sugar, Keeley brushed back her gold and black beanie. Time to get this party started!

As Edmond did as he was told by Kurumi, he felt more relaxed. He hated feeling frustrated, but now, after mixing ingridients, Ed had finally calmed down and enjoyed the magic of cooking. Even if he wasn't using magic, baking cookies was relaxing and it made the room smell really good. "How long will it take for the cookies to be ready?" Ed asked Kurumi. He couldn't wait to taste the cookies he helped bake.

Kurumi checked the oven and found it to be at a perfect 375°. "As soon as we scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet and put it in the oven," she smiled as she handed him a spoon. "Cookies should be done between 10 and 12 minutes."

"Can I take it out when it's ready?"Adam asked eagerly trying to look at the oven.He turned on the light. "Ahh crispy golden brown."He breathed in the sweet fumes that the cake was making.

Ed took the spoon from Kurumi and waited to scoop the dough. "Okay." he nodded. This was all amazing to Edmond. At home when he snuck into the kitchens his father would always catch him and tell him that he should let the elves do the cooking. Ed didn't like that, but had no other choice but to listen to his father.

Kurumi smiled as her and Edmond scooped the dough onto the sheet together. When they were finished, she popped them into the oven.

"Sure," she smiled as she did a check on the oven and the timer. "Give them one more minute and they should be done."

Kurumi put their used dishes in the sink and Twinkle began magically cleaning them with an enchanted sponge. The timer beeped and Kurumi smiled at Adam and ran over to the oven. "Time to take them out!"

Adam bent over put on some oven mits and took them out. The air wafted over his freckled face, and no later than a few inches he had pulled it out he reached over to grab a bite but instantly dropped the cookie on the sheet."AHHH, HOT! HOT! HOT! A warning would've been nice."He told Kurumi shaking his red thumb.

Ed saw what happened to Adam and grabbed some napkins for each of them, "Here, so you won't get burned." he said and took a cookie. He blew on it so it'll cool down. "You okay Adam?" he asked.

He them turned to Kurumi and said, "These look and smell great." he smiled.

Kurumi stopped herself from rolling her eyes. Sometimes Adam acted much younger than his 11-years of age. "Of course they are going to be hot," she laughed as she took a look at his hand to make sure he hadn't burnt himself on a blueberry drop cookie. Ah yes, the power of cookies could work in mysterious ways.


Kurumi smiled when she saw Edmond hand Adam a cookie in a napkin. Yep, she was a peacemaker with her cookies. Maybe now the boys could go back to being friends?

"Thanks."Adam said taking the napkins Ed had passed him for the cookie. " I'm fine, my thumb is throbbing a little but I'm fine.Thanks man."Adam said, flpping the napkin in front of his face. He took a chomp out of the cookie. "Job well done Kurumi."Adam smiled at her. All the sugar and sweetness melted in his mouth, ahh he needed milk to wash it all down.

"Job well done to everyone," she corrected him handing one of the cookies to Twinkle. She then headed over to the fridge and took out a large pitcher of milk and waved her wand to make three cups float out of the cabinet. She poured the milk into her charmed cups and had two of them float over to the boys.

"You're welcome," Ed said, politely.

Edmond took a bit of his now cooled cookie. "Yum." he said out loud. "These cookies are the best, Kurumi." Ed said after he swallowed. "We definately have to do this some other time." he told both his new friends and took another cookie. Delicious.

"Thanks."Adam said taking the floating cup in his hand."I needed some of this."He nodded at her. He saw Kurumi pass a cookie to Twinkle the Elf and he thought that was caring and considerate of her. Many people would have probably just left without another word to the helping elves.

Edmond took the cup and drank the cool milk, "Just what I needed." he smiled. He then lifted his cup and said, "Cheers, for a job well done."
