With a nod, Jeremy straightened up to get a two mugs from the shelf he had been leaning against, still trying to stifle a few chuckles. Yes, it had gone from yawns to chuckles now. He more or less told the mugs when he finally had one in each hand before moving back over to Josephina. "There you go." Was he supposed to put them down? Or hold them up?

"Suuuuuure." Though, who was he to talk? He had just managed to get two Slytherin girls to lose 100 housepoints and a joint detention with him and Hecate. Lovely. "Jerzoo? I've already acquired a few nicknames around here, I see." Jeremy mused with a small grin before raising his eyebrows at her next question. "Muggle Studies." He didn't return the question because he had already found out she was teaching Arithmancy sooo...

Wait?! He wasn't embarrassed by her giggling like a five year old and acting childishly defensive? Oh duh . . . he taught muggle studies. But still, Josephina bit her lower lip in awe when he started chuckling and then seemed mildly disappointed when she had said she wasn't always like this. "No, I'm not. I'm actually more of the quiet and reserved type." Was that going to be an issue? Cause she might have found Mr Zookara mildly interesting otherwise. "Why? Are you? Always like this, I mean...?"

Oh good, someone able to easily reach the mugs. "Thanks. Now careful... it's hot." She warned him, like he was a two year old curious child, out to touch anything and everything. Carefully - as though she'd done this many times before, even if not and she'd only ever watched someone else - Fina poured the sizzling liquid into each of the two mugs.

"I'm serious!! I wouldn't scold kids - or anyone really - unless it was totally and one hundred percent deserved." She said with a certain finality in her tone. Oh, he didn't seem to really like that little combination. "Or ... I'll just call you Jeremy," she winked, knowing mentally she was totally gonna call him Jerzoo. Muggle Studies ... HM, that might actually have been the missing puzzle piece. "I think I might need some of your expertise actually." Carrying the mugs carefully toward the table, she gestured for him to follow as she took a seat.

Upon entering the kitchen Skylic looks around in awe at all the house elves and the dozens of trays with treats and other items on them. Not sure what looks better she wanders around looking things over. Finally she decides on a rather odd cupcake that reminds her of her cat. "Wow was I ever missing a lot." she said taking a bite out of the cupcake.

Licking the frosting from her lips she turned to Evelyn "Thanks for letting me tag along."

Entering the kitchen, Evelyn paused and glanced around, disgusted by how many sweets there were. It was only her opinion of course. There was nothing there that she’d eat, so obviously, so therefore it was food that’d she’d ‘feed to the dogs’ so to speak. Ugh, now, where was that house elf? The one that looked like Bibby?

Her eyes flickered over to Skylic as she picked up a cupcake, resisting the urge to roll her eyes, but she did nod her head in agreement. "Now you know where to go for a late night snack." It was just a bonus that it was practically a floor up from them.

Aw, here he was! "The usual please." She ordered quietly, moving over to one of the empty counters, not even acknowledging the small bow the elf gave her. Jumping onto the counter, she flipped around and let her legs dangle off the side, swinging her feet slightly, awaiting her tea and biscuit. "Mmhmm, sure. So, what places do you know around the castle so far?"

"Well I know the general things like the library, classrooms ect. Those are given. I went down to the lake and was walking around in the pumpkin patch. Other then that I haven't really been around much." replied Skylic looking around for something that didn't seem to be there. "I do want to go see this tree house you were talking about tho, it sounds fun"

"Have you seen Jynx?" She asked looking under the counter and all around the large room. "I was sure she followed us up here." Satisfied that she looked everywhere she thought to herself must have stayed in the common room.

He didn't want to forget her either.

Adam walked into the kitchen, he thought, having cold weather cold for some delicious treats he and Kurumi could bake up while having fun all the same time. He sat on the counter and drummed his fingers on the table, looking at the doorway every few seconds expecting to see Kurumi in a tall and long Chef's hat.

Adam jumped off the counter and hugged her, they used to do that right? he wanted to keep everything as normal as possible. "Good afternoon- cutie pie..."Yes, he had to add that in a sneaky and quiet manner-in case someone , their friends, were near by. "Shall we make some pie or cookies, due to weather and the season?"He asked.

Kurumi blushed when Adam called her cutie pie and her hands immediately went to her face. She peeked out between her fingers and saw Adam smiling at her. "Um-w-w-we could make a cobbler...those are nice a warm during the winter..." she said as she took her hands away from her face. "Do you like peaches or apples better?" Should she make up a name for him?

"I like apples better- especially green apples."he told her. "Why do you always peek behind your hands when I say something like that- it stops people from seeing your beautiful pink ( not sure if that's right ) eyes..."he told her.

The house elves, overhearing Adam mention green apple, brought a giant basket of them over to the two. "You think me eyes are beautiful?" she blushed once again trying to hide her face. No, she didn't need to keep doing that with Adam. She blinked a few times with her violet eyes and looked at Adam. "You are one of the first people to say that to me..."

Had he been doing that? Kurumi felt embarrassed that she had never noticed or, at least, she had never thought of it that way. "Edmond mentioned my eyes once," she smiled handing him an apple to start peeling. "My mother hates my eyes...she always makes me wear brown colored contacts when I am home..." He had to admit, her life was filled of sadness, teasings, and one mean mother.

"How many people do you know with purple eyes?" she half laughed noticing Adam's face-o-concentration. "My mother just didn't want to give the kids another reason to tease me. While part of it is that my eyes remind her that I am...not normal...she was also trying to protect me..."

Favorite holiday? She had never thought about that before. "Maybe...New Years," she smiled finishing her first apple and moving on to her second. "It is one of the only times during the year where my entire family is together and we go to a local shrine at midnight and eat all sorts of delicious food." She smiled.
