Marie ran out to the courtyard after getting a note from Dylan saying he needed to chat with her. It had been a few days since she last seen him so she was happy when she got his note.

Not seeing Dylan she sat on a bench to wait for him. Hopefully he would get there soon. She was curious to hear what he wanted to tell her. Maybe he would say he asked Gold to marry him.

Dylan smiled as he entered the courtyard. He spotted Marie waiting for him. "Hey Marie. I am glad you got my note." Either that or it was coincidence. Yeah not really.

Marie smiled when she seen Dylan enter the courtyard. "Hey Dylan. I came as soon as I got it. What's up?" She asked as she gave him a hug. She was hoping he had good news. You know something like Gold saying yes to him.

Dylan gave her a hug back, "You may wanna sit down." Yeah sitting down for this may be good. He was telling her because she was his only friend here. "Yeah sit down please." She was sitting down, so he knew she would.

Marie smiled when Dylan hugged her back. He was such a great friend. She couldn't figure out why it had taken them so long to become friends.

Hearing him say she may want to sit down she suddenly got the feeling that he wasn't about to tell her good news. Why would she have to sit for him to tell her Gold said she would marry him? "Um, okay." She said as she hesitantly sat back on the bench. She stood back up though because she really didn't want to hear any bad news. Maybe if she stayed standing he wouldn't want to tell her. It would be like there was nothing to tell.

Then he asked her to sit down again. Against her better judgement she finally sat back down. "What's wrong? Why do I get the feeling you are about to tell me someone died?" she asked as she tried to figure out from the expression on his face what he was going to tell her.

Yeah, that wasn't working. A mind reader she wasn't.

Dylan shook his head, as she sat back down the second time. "Nooo noone has died." He was concerned someone may had died now. Had someone died?

"Well I kinda have good news and bad news. Which do you want first?" Well she could have the option. Maybe she would want the bad news, and be perked up by the good.

Well at least no one had died, that was a relief for her.

Oh she did not like this though... not one little bit. It was never good either way when someone said they had good news AND bad news at the same time. And now he wanted her to decide which news she wanted first. She didn't want any of it. Nit if the good news was the reason for the bad news. She couldn't tell him that though. It was obviously something he wanted her to know or he wouldn't have made it a point to get her to meet him like this.

Taking a deep breath she looked up at him. "I guess I'll take the... bad news first." And whatever that good news is BETTER be enough to make up for the bad.

Bad news first? Fantastic. He didn't want to tell her the bad news at all, but he had to. "Well um...I am leaving Hogwarts. I won't be coming back after the Easter holidays." Bad news out of the way. Yay. Now for the good news.

"I got an advanced place at WADA. It isn't for the full course but they are going to start me off. Because of my experience last year." Yeah he wanted to go back and do that. When life was fun.

Take a break? Oh no, hehe, he wasn't inexperienced in the art of kissing. The suggestion of him taking a break, actually made his face burn in embarrassment.

"Non, I just..." He just, wasn't really into the kiss? No, that was not true. And her hands running through his hair felt marvelous. Though it was not fair to Sandra if they continued and he had another girl on his mind. True, this was probably nothing more then just a make-out, but he'd feel too guilty. He hated being nice sometimes.

And he hated that he didn't lie. But sometimes... "I zink I might be getting a cold. I don't want you to get sick." Sometimes he just needed to.

Why did she say she wanted the bad news first? She should have said she wanted the good news, then maybe he would have forgotten to tell her the bad. But noooooooooo, she had to ask for the bad news first.

And there is was, he was leaving.

WAIT!!!!

He was WHAT? Leaving... As in never coming back? But WHY?

Marie just sat there staring at him. She felt her heart drop to her toes. This was NOT the sort of bad news she was expecting. She thought maybe it would have been something like him telling her he couldn't be her friend anymore because his sister didn't like her... which would have really sucked but at least she would still get to see him around the school. But him leaving... that was so permanent. Now she would never get to see him, never get to talk to him again or just hang out with him.

"Why are you leaving?" she finally asked once she found her voice again. "I don't want you to leave." She could feel the tears stinging her eyes just thinking about never seeing him again.

Sure she knew this day would come since he was in his seventh year, she just thought she had until the end of term before it would happen. She wasn't prepared for it to happen now.

Oh right, and now the good news... the news that was the reason for the bad news. She knew she should be happy for him but she just didn't feel happy right now. Yes, she should have taken the good new first. Oh well, too late now. Wiping the tears away she looked up at him, "That's great, I'm happy for you," she said trying her best to sound like she really was happy. Truth was she was feeling selfish and didn't want him to go, even though this was a great opportunity for him.

Annie shrugged. Haha, he was soo cute when agreeing, part agreeing this time, though. And well, it did kind of worried Annie about the fact that she'd be at someplace still unknown to her and that she'd have such few contact with the outside, just because she was to be focused on soccer, maybe 90%. Her giggle came along when Drew said she'd be able to cheer him up, he so deserved a hug and maybe a kiss, but Annie held up to the last and gave him a light squeeze.

Aww. That was the sad face Drew did. "Let's put it positive. You are graduating, I got the contract, we are both going into this unknown world, and we're gonna do this together. You are not going to get rid of me..." Unless he wanted, of course.

"Because I got a place." That was why he was leaving. He would never leave Hogwarts unless he had to. And in this case it was a definite had to. She looked upset by the fact.

Oh no. She was crying. That wasn't a good thing. "No Marie. Don't cry. Please." He couldn't deal with her crying. Bad bad.

Marie knew she should be really happy for Dylan but she couldn't help that she was sad. She didn't know if or when she would ever see him again. "I'm sorry, it's just that I'm really gonna miss you." she said as she gave him a hug. "I really am happy for you though. This is a great opportunity." she said still hugging him.

Pulling back from the hug she took off his watch and handed it back. "Here, I promised I would give this back." She didn't want him to think she was going to try and keep it. "Thanks for letting me use it." This term just kept getting worse and worse for her. First she loses Carter now Dylan was leaving. The only good thing in her life now was Jimmy. With the way her luck was going this term though she was just waiting for him to say he was leaving or start ignoring her too.

A smirk might have flicked across her face when she noticed him blushing. No matter how many times he did it, she would always find it amusing. Though she did wonder why he was blushing. It wasn't as if she had said or done something blush worthy in her eyes.

Her hand running through his hair slowed as she turned her gaze to his eyes when he started to speak. He didn't need a break though he seemed the type to take them. Maybe not with snogging....but probably with other things.

Hm.

He was catching a cold? That was too bad, but she totally understood. So didn't wanna catch a cold from snogging(again) either. Not when she could wait for him to get over said cold to finish snogging the hot Beauxbatons. "It is fine, ve can alvays finish later." Her eyes glanced over at the castle. "Vould you like to head back inside?"

Finish later…non, he should not be thinking of that. Or thinking they could finish now, but he had already said he was catching a cold. Perhaps it was for the best that he did that? Right? Oui…right?

However, he couldn’t help but notice he had no signs of a cold. Umm, well he had the red nose. So, that could probably help. He still felt rather guilty though. Really, really guilty. "Oui." He smiled with a nod, looking over at her. Wait, what was he saying yes to? "Right, I should go back inzide. Or, I mean, we could…if you’re going."

Was she going? Or maybe his guilt intertwined speech was going to scare her off. He wouldn’t blame her. It was rather scary in his opinion. Incomplete sentences.

*shudder* Champions don't have incomplete sentences! Or feel guilty. Or lie and feel like an idiot at the same time. Ehhh...

Launching his Owl in to the air with the letter attached " Bubba dont you go noplace else this time "

looking around at the sound of his name "Hey ,,,,Naw I havent seen her I was working in the potions lab,and she is having a hard time with the Brandon thing. So I try and give her some space but I am missing her like mad " looking at the Owl she just sent off " is that your Owl ?"
