Edmond nodded and couldn't help, but laugh as well. Fellyphone, haha. So now it was the cellphone. Wow muggles invented things real quick or it was probably just him that wasn't up to date. "So you can use the cellphone anywhere and talk to whom ever you want?" now this was interesting. "And yours takes pictures?" now that was even better. Edmond remembered everything Kurumi had told him about her mother, it was just a tad hard to believe that even her brothers had to hide magic from her. "It must of been hard for them to hide they were wizards." Ed commented. He couldn't even begin to think about not living with magic.

Was Edmond serious? Was he seriously finding her pathetic non-magical cellphone amazing? Kurumi was going to have to write home about this to her brothers. "You can watch TV on it too," she managed to say through her giggles as she pushed a few buttons and the local news appeared on the phone's tiny screen. "It's nothing special." Just then, a text message arrived causing her phone to vibrate and play some pop sounding music. "It's from my brother. He wants to know if I like the Pepper Imps." She began typing a messages and lightspeed using her thumbs.

"I never asked them about it, but I am sure it must have been hard. I cannot imagine going back home and not being allowed to use magic at all. I wonder how my father managed it all these years...then again, he works for the Japanese Ministry of Magic, so he can use magic while he is at work." She began to think about her family. She sure missed them a lot. More than that, she wished that she could share all she was experiencing with her mother.

Cameron grinned. "They're good. How're things with you?" Hadn't she been buying an owl? "Did you end up buying an owl?" She asked the little girl.

YUMMMMMM. Kurumi made AWESOME cookies. Cameron couldn't even BEGIN to explain how good they were. "Chestnut?" She asked her curiously. That was really cool. Cam now knew one word in Japanese. Kurumi meant Walnut. HEHE. COOOOOL! "Now you have like twin names!" *giggle*

The cat, for the most part, seemed kinda cool - until it started trying to sniff her face. Erm..
"Haiii kitttteekitttteeee," Cam purrred back frightened. It wasn't going to claw her face was it? "What erm.. breed is the kitty kat?" *fidget*

Walnut got even closer so that her nose was touching Cam's and then just stared with her unblinking kitty eyes.

"Walnut is a Munchkin," she said pointing to the cat's stubby legs. "I think she likes you."

Walnut sure was getting up close and personal with Cam's face. Then the kitty did something unexpected...she licked Cam's nose.

Pam nodded. "Yup, a Tawny owl. Her name's Tahlia. I've been good. Not much has been going on. Just a bunch of classes."

"Thanks," Anna smiled. Although her ankle felt like some one kept banging it with a sledge hammer, she was happy that the girl had helped her. "Oww!" Anna moaned again

It had been a good idea to meet up down here instead of continuing their conversation in the Library. Way too crowded up there. Way too crowded. Which was why Jeremy was now waiting for the Librarian in the Courtyard, covered in as many layers of clothing he found. It was COLD! Really really cold. And the drizzling rain wasn't exactly helping to get rid of the cold either.

Pushing his bonnet down further so it covered his ears fully Jeremy extended his hand to catch some of the rain drops. Wait...were they turning into snow? Yes, they certainly looked snow-like.

Cameron blinked at the cat. Erm. Weird.

It got even closer - like.. creepy close and the redhead gulped as it stood, nose to nose with her.

That's why she liked Pygie. He stayed in his cage. He only squeaked when she forgot to feed him and for the most part, was a unmoving, docile creature. Cats were evil. They mooooooooved and .. did stuff. Shifty stuff.

Turning to Pam - perhaps to get away from the kittykat, she grinned. "Aw! That's awesome. Tahlia.. that's a pretty name." The first year was complaining about classes? The Prefect smiled. "Better get used to it, there'll only be more in the future."

She remember HER first year. Everything had been overwhelming. "You finding your way around the castle, alright, chikka?" Even Cam got lost.

Brittany walked out to the courtyard with a sigh. bored Bored BORED was what she was. Most of her friends she had made in the beginning of the year had completely dissappeared. She probably should go out on a limb and try to make new friends but that never was really her area of expertise. *sigh again*

Selena nodded. "I know, I know," she said, in respond to the Selena was right comment. Because Selena was always right. Hehehe. Not. She tended to be wrong quite often, even with matters in the heart and all. BUT SHE WAS AWESOME. She hugged Emma back tightly.

Sophia shivered as she walked around outside. It was very cold out tonight, and she didn't have a very thick coat. No matter. She put her hands inside her pockets and strolled about.

Adam walked around the courtyard.The air was stinging his face, but it was chilly with no snow.He kicked the previous's day snow as he waited for his newest friend Annabel...

"Adam!" Annabel ran up to her new friend.

Walnut did not like Cam yelling in her face and hissed back before jumping onto Kurumi's lap with her hair standing one end.

"I highly doubt it," she giggled as she tried to calm her cat down with a tuna fish cookie. "Walnut is just very curious. She wasn't going to try and eat your face or anything."

Kurumi made a note to keep Walnut away from Cam as much as possible. Walnut continued to hiss while she chewed on the cookie.

IT WAS HIIIIIISSSSING!

"Naughty kittteh!" Cam reprimanded as it leapt off her lap and onto Kurumi's. Oh no disease them? That was good. Cameron sighed. "I'm not very good with animals." Pygie was rather self-sufficient. "About as good as I am with humans." Awkward. Pretty freaking awkward.

Did Cam just say what Kurumi thought she heard her say? She had killed a cat? She squeezed Walnut.

Walnut, who had now stopping hissing, was glaring at Cam with angry glaring eyes. Walnut was no longer a fan of red heads...except Adam. Adam always scratched her behind the ears and NEVER yelled in her face.

Kurumi eyed Cam...had she blown up a cat or something?

"Classes are fine. I think I like Care of Magical Creatures best...but, that is just because I love animals. The dugbog from last class was so cute!"

Shivering only slightly in her wintery clothes and snow boots, Kimber shoved her hands as deep into her pockets as they would go. "Brrr," she said, walking over to where Jeremy stood waiting. "Is that snow?" she asked, looking down at his hand with an amused smile. She simply LOVED Hogwarts' winters!

Cameron shrugged apologetically. "It was my first magic.. and I was like ten and the cat was really annoying.." And before she started rambling she sent Kurumi a weak smile. Forgive and forget, right?

The cat was SERIOUSLY starting to freak Cameron out. "Stop glaring you cute..".. ugly, ball of FUR! STOP HISSING AT ME! But she said that part mentally. TO herself. The girl was learning.

Ee. Cam didn't like the class much. She didn't like animals - that much was obvious. Heh. "The dugbog?" The thing that had sharp teeth, finned paws and ATE mandrakes for breakfast? "Ohh yeah.." She replied weakly, "It was sooo cute, I want to keep one and domesticate it."

Kurumi tried to smile back, but the image of an exploding kitty was almost too much to handle...until she was reminded of Chibi - her adorable little dugbog from class.

"You want one for a pet too?!" Kurumi squeaked jumping and practically landing on Cameron's lap. She got really worked up when it came to creatures, no matter what they were - except cockroaches...those were never going to be cute and should be killed slowly with liquid soap.

"I was thinking of asking the professor if I could keep Chibi," she smiled looking first at Cameron and then back at Walnut who was swishing her tail back and forth with half a tuna fish cookie hanging out of her mouth. If the girl went for her wand...she was going to scratch her eyes out...

Fee was walking to the courtyard. Last time she had been here with Kita.
She really missed her bestie. School was totally taking over.
Approaching a bench she listend to That 70's song by The Cab.
That song always cheered her up.

"I think so." Jeremy replied with his eyes still on the slowly desolving flakes in his hand. Then with a grin he finally looked up at Kimber standing next to him, who looked just as much as an Inuit as himself what with the many layers of clothes. She probably wouldn't even feel it if he poked her arm. Not that he was going to. Not now anyway.

Rubbing his hands together Jeremy cocked his head slightly to the side to grin at Kimber for a moment. "Soooo...where were we?" He asked, referring to their library conversation an hour ago. He was pretty sure they had been talking about him but he hoped Kimber had forgotten about that.

Arabella-Marie wandered up to the courtyard and took a seat on one of the benches hoping to meet somebody new
