He was up and running away before Mia knew what was happening. "Matty." She yelled out at his retreating back but either he didn't hear her or he was ignoring her.
She stood standing in the courtyard staring at he spot he had disappeared into and she sighed deeply. Mia had never had this happen to her before and she was quite unsure of what to do. Matthias was her friend and she didn't want to lose his friendship but if being around her was going to be too hard for him then she would just have to stay away.
It didn't make her feel any better though.

Ellie walked down to the courtyard. It was okay, now. It had gotten warmer, the air had gotten fresher, coats and jackets weren't necessary... Late spring was a good time of year.
She didn't exactly have a plan in mind when coming to the courtyard, but she had her bat in her hand. She just missed it, really. And she'd barely held it since summer. With each step, the bat hit against her thigh.
Maybe she'd just pass through..

Grace sat down quietly, watching everyone else go about whatever it was thaat they were doing. People-watching was fun, sometimes, especially when she had nothing to do. She absent-mindedly fiddled with her scarf, fingering the tiny beads sewn - knitted? - into the wool. It felt good to be out of the stupid angel costume. No more dresses for aaaaaaaaages, she thought to herself. Ew. She hated dresses.
