The edge of the lake looks... different. There are things heaped here. Davina, wand tucked behind her ear, turns round the moment she has arrived, to see if the class is following.
"Sit down, sit down," she says. "Your cushions are charmed so that they won't get dirty, though I don't expect you're going to need them for long. Take off your shoes, if you want to. I hope no one - girl or boy - is wearing heels? That can make things difficult."
Iris smiled at the girl, and then looked at the tent that she was TRYING, clearly desperately, to put up. "Alrighty, then. First things first; intro's. I'm Iris Beaumont. Call me 'Iris' or 'Monty' ... But none of that Prefect title stuff. What's your name? Teehee. Iris looked down at the TEENY firstie and still refused point blank to believe that she was THAT short five years ago. Just refused to.
Eyeing the tent, Iris looked at the girl. Did the professor say they were allowed to use magic to conjour it up or not? Iris wasn't sure. Good job she knew how to camp then, isn't it?! Hehe. "Look, see this pole here? That's one of the poles for the base. They're numbered, see. In case you have to make them the muggle way. All the base-poles have number 1's on them." Iris smiled at the girl, and took out her wand. "However... We don't have to do it the muggle way. Or at least I don't think we do. Eh... We'll do it the Muggle way to be safe."
"THEN, when it's built we can use the paint and other stuff to make it all pretty. Maybe build a campfire, too." Hehe. Iris nodded at the little girl to make sure that she was following. Didn't want to confuse her, did she?
Iris looked at the other girl who'd come to ask to help. YAAAAAY! More people equals a more EPIC tent! Grinning at the girl, Iris answered back, "Heey. I'm Iris."
"Nice to meet you Iris. I'm Freya" Freya smiled. She listened carefully when Iris explain to them how to build the camp. They would do this in a muggle way?YAAAAYYYYYYYY..!!!she was so happy. She began to pick up the pole for the base. She looked the number carefully so she won't misplace the pole
Di eyed the... girl, a little warily. "Better safe than sorry, Miss..." Yes. Name, kid, name. "Though if you are certain you can pitch a tent in high heels, by all means continue to wear them."
Yes, and I will not be responsible for the consequences.
Neptune LOOKED at the Professor. Pretty as she was, maybe she wasn't so smart, this Professor? Oh well. Slowly, Neptune said her name, "Neptune Bott."
She didn't add the DUUUUHHH for punctuation. But she did give the Professor an encouraging smile.
Anywho.
Some older girl was being friendly in Jim's direction. Typical, sure, he WAS so handsome. But surely she knew they - Neptune and Jimmy - were building a two person tent. 1. Neptune, 2. Jimmy. She sent Jimmy the get rid of her? look, but thankfully she wandered off on her own.
So. NOW. To tent building! Neptune hopped off her pillow and grabbed up a long stick-y looking thing. Looked like it would be good for hitting people with... or.... prodding. Neptune skipped back over to Jimmy and PRODDED him with the stick. "Jiiiiiiiim," whiiiiiiine, "build me a tent." And cue cutesy!pouts.
She put the stake in the ground with a big JAB, claiming their spot.
"I think I am going to try to paint a picture of the lake with the bubbles." Cora told her while trying to figure out what to start with. "I am going to need blue for the lake, green for the grass, brown for the trees, gray for the castle, and a lighter blue for the sky." She looked over at the other girls tent, "I like the pink that you put on your tent. It's not too bright, but it still stands out."
Cass grinned "Thank you. Do you need any help with the painting?"
Mmhhmm? Di turned around at the sound of a female voice. Oh, a finished tent. Quite excellent, quite excellent.
"It looks wonderful," she said, cheerfully.
Lucy was happy to know that professor liked her tent and said "Thank you Professor"

She was at the edge of the lake looking for a good place to put her tent. She found a spot near some of the other tents and started to take out her poles and layed them out in order that she knew she needed. She rolled out her tent and placed it flat on the ground. She was doing so well. the professor was walking around by the time she would get the her then she would be almost done.

"Nice to meet you too, Freya."
Okay. Now, BACK TO THE BUILDING! Yaaay. Hehe. Iris picked up a bunch of the poles, and sorted them out with the numbers. Then she handed some to the other girls, and started to put her own ones where they should be.
"Tadaahhh!" She said, grinning at the two first years. "Hehe. Looks like we've got ourselves a Teepee tent!" Hehe. Just like those indian tribes...

Lucy looked around to see if anyone needed her help. She walked to the girl next to her and said "Hi! i'm Lucy, you need any help?" she asked.
Iris looked at yet ANOTHER first year as she asked to help. "Oooh, yeah. Do help. More people equals a more awesome tent." Well, kinda.
Now that all the poles were up, they had to put the fabricky bit on top of tent and pin it down. *nodnod*
Cass grinned at the sight of Fee's tent "Pretty" Cass told the girl, then she brought out her wand and said "Orchideous" whiched caused a bundle of pink carnations to appear from the tip of her wand then she offered them to freya and said "A houswarming present"
"Aww thank you", Fee smiled at Cass,"where is your tent?" "Freya", she smiled widely.

With a rush of excitement, Ivory made her way over to the provided essentials for this lesson. It wasn't something to toot her horn aloud about but she was pretty good at arts and crafts if she did say so herself and she'd pitched a tent with Arya that one time last last summer when they'd taken the horses out and camped out in the starry night so although she wasn't quite sure she could do it alone, she understood the mechanisms of it.
Grabbing a heap load of stuff and paint, she carried it a little ways away while she sorted through things. Hopefully her best friend or even a new friend would join her.
They where pitching TENTS!!!!
How freakin cool was this? Too freakin cool.
Arms full of everything she noticed that her best friend didn't have, she unceremoniously dropped it all on the ground with a grin. "This is just like when we went camping!" Minus the horses and her family, so not as fun as then, but still awesome cause they were at Hogwarts. Pulling out the polls for the tent, she began to piece them together. Yes, she knew she could use magic, but there were some things that were much more fun doing the muggle way, and camping was one of them.
"Do we wanna makeshift sofa or sleep under the stars?" Where they really gonna sleep outside, that would be awesome. Arya grinned at the girl who was already asking Ivy to join in on the tent pitching.

Aww he was looking at her with those eyes. Mia couldn't stand it when people looked at her like that. It made her go all mushy on the inside. "You're doing great Matty. I'll do the next lot of ropes okay?"
"You are so sweet." Mia gave him another smile and looked at Finn as if to say 'see they do as they're told.' She watched the young boy for a moment and bit on her lip so as to not laugh. "It might work better if you turn the pole around. You've got it upside down."
Mia poked her tongue out at Finn. Obviously he didn't like having girls telling him what to do. Actually he probably didn't like anyone telling him what to do. Well he had said he wanted to learn to do it the muggle way.
She gave him an apologetic look and raised herself up on tip toe. "I'm sorry Finlay. Whatever can I do to make it up to you?"
Three guesses as to what his answer will be?
Mia only needed one guess.
Hehe.
Sweet? Daniel didn't like sweet but he could live with it. Um upside down? It was? "I knew that" Daniel said quickly "Just testing you" he said. Ugh. Everyone said that. What a rubbish thing to say.
Daniel quickly flipped his pole over and was suprised at how easy it was to make it go through the hole. There done. Daniel stood back to watch the others do their bit.

"Alright here you go."
Oh and the other boy was done too. Mia if that was her name still had to help out. Just because she was a girl didn't mean she shouldn't help. Daniel watched silently as Finn worked.
Iris smiled at the girl, and then looked at the tent that she was TRYING, clearly desperately, to put up. "Alrighty, then. First things first; intro's. I'm Iris Beaumont. I'm Amy Goldblossom she said happily she looked down at the tent all crumpled in a heap "eek i guess I'm pretty bad at this stuff"
Setting up a tent site, that was one thing Patroclus knew he could do. With or Without magic.
Being the son of an Archaelogist, who spend half his time on digs, the art of pitching, became well tuned.
Patroclus licked his finger, and held it in the air. As it dried he was able to sort out the wind direction, and knowing that was essential. Next the boy selected a perfect spot, he oriented his plot so that it would have water views, but also so that it was high enough back from the water level, to protect it from damp and also the chance of a high tide, as the Professor said, it was a river after all.
Walking over to the collection of materials, Patroclus surveyed waht was on offer, and decided that a Boudain style tent would be perfect. A style typcial employed the Deserts, by Nomads for their ease and speed of assembly, Patroclus had spent lots of time in their airy yet strudy walls in his child hood.
Assembling his things, the boy set to work, laying the basis, a dry tarp, then erected wooden structures that would suffice to carry the wieght of the fabric. Patroclus had selected a lovely cotton blend as the tent material, a rich red that expressed his house pride.
As the son began to set, Patroclus stepped back and marveled at his work, His tent was good enough for a King, and large enough to fit a royal court as well.
Enya laughed, yeah finally Louisa wasn't tell her off. Well sorta, she was giving her advice - not that she'd take it. Sigh. "Be careful? Ha. yeah that's going to happen" Sarcasticly. Well she'd try...not! It'll be the say when she actually learnt some manner's and went back to her old self. Vannessa would love that day.
Enya had been sat alone picking grass from the ground. Sigh. She wanted this class over and donw with so she could go to bed in her real bed. Yeah she was looking forward to that, this lesso was pointless! Enya even thought of standig up and just leaving, she wouldn't care about the missing points or the detention's. Sigh. She stood up when Louisa started to ask for help. What? She was expected to know the spell? She didn't. She said so.
"Don't look at me, i don't know it! Ask someone else"
"Fine! I'll do it without magic! Thank goodness I went camping before." She walked towards the tent and took her wand out pointing it at it. The tent was not a human so she could practice this spell, "Engorgio!" She cried and closed her eyes.
Two seconds later, she opened them to find the it was a perfect spell. She grinned, "Look! I did it! It's bigger!" She told Enya bouncing excitedly.
So, what now? Hmm.. the flowers were really nice but the color was not very appealing. How about green? They were outside anyways, and nature was represented by green. Now how do we make the tent green? Maybe she could use this spell Professor Tate taught them that lesson. Smirk. And she'd paint the tent in green.
The spell hit the tent and made a green splash. Smiling widely, Louisa continued painting the tent carefully not to let the flowers vanish by the paint spell.
Five mins later, they had a green flowery tent that looked like this
SPOILER!!: the tent XD
Louisa stood in front of it grinning proudly. "Look Enya! Do you like it? You think it's ok?" She asked the girl sitting behind her.

Iris smiled at the girl. "Nice to meet you Amy." She giggled at the girls words. "Ah, don't worry. We've pretty much thrown it up now." She said.
"Now, I'll need your help with this bit. There's too much canvas for me to levitate on my own." Looking to her little crew of Firsties, Iris took out her wand. "The incantation's 'Wingardium Leviosa', and you have to give your wand this little swish and a flick." The prefect HOPED they were buying this, because of COURSE she could levitate the canvas onto the top of the tent on her own. SHe just wanted to let them feel like they were doing LOADS, y'know?
"Okay, After three!" Iris said, "One... Two... Three... Wingardium Leviosa!" She said, with the correct wand movements.

Louisa stood in front of it grinning proudly. "Look Enya! Do you like it? You think it's ok?" She asked the girl sitting behind her.
Enya watched as Louisa went off in a huff. Seriously that girl needed some self control. Sigh. Someday she'd teach the girl, but not today. She couldn't be bothered. With the class. With the activity. With teacher a young girl some rules. Gah. Sigh. She was really really bored now. Enya turned away when Louisa had lifted her wand, she didn't want to see the awful outcome!
But when Louisa shouted at her moment's later to see what she had done Enya smiled. Ha. The girl had got it wrong, there tent was in flames. Great lesson breaker. Turning round though she gapped at the tent, it was certainly bigger then before. The younger girl had got the spell right. Gosh! Wow! SHe nodded her head to Louisa but with no ones. What could she say?
Enya opened her mouth to say something when suddenly the younger girl started painting over her painting. Her moutains and all. Her mouth fell open. She couldn't speak, but when the girl finished turned around to face her with a smile on her face she found her voice again. "You destroyed my painting! My hard work" She shouted at the girl, still starting at the tent. She felt tears in her eyes. She couldn't look at it. Folding her arms she turned away and began to walk away.

Beware.
Nessa was putting an enlargement charm on the inside of her tent and adding a few details to the inside. she was almost done. She decide to cast some light on the outside just so she could see when she was coming in. she bent down and cast a firefly charm.
Nessa looked over at a boy that was having trouble with his tent "Can i help you out with that you look like your having trouble?" she said
" Thanks, I have never camped' Rex told her. " I would love some help" Rex said to her. " my name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to her. " Guuess you cant beleive a boy has never done camping, right?" Rex asked her.
Cass grinned "Thank you. Do you need any help with the painting?"
Cora smiled and said, "That would be wonderful. Thanks. I will paint this side if you want to paint the other side." Cora was so excited to start painting her tent, and she was getting help doing it.
" Thanks, I have never camped' Rex told her. " I would love some help" Rex said to her. " my name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to her. " Guuess you cant beleive a boy has never done camping, right?" Rex asked her.
"No I believe it my brother has never been intrested either" she said with a smile. She bent down to tie the tent strings to braces in the ground which were undone. "Im Renesmee but you can call me Nessa or Rene if its easier for you' she said. She was finishing his tent (putting some charms- lighting charms, expanding charms etc.) " Here you go, all done" she said " would you like a cupcake? i made some earlier."
Enya watched as Louisa went off in a huff. Seriously that girl needed some self control. Sigh. Someday she'd teach the girl, but not today. She couldn't be bothered. With the class. My hard work" She shouted at the girl, still starting at the tent. She felt tears in her eyes. She couldn't look at it. Folding her arms she turned away and began to walk away.
Louisa blinked several times to make sure that Enya was actually turning around and walking away. Huh? Was she serious? Heh. Of course, when ever did Enya joke around?
"I didn't ruin it! I edited it. See? Your flowers were still on there! It's just the mountain that was gone! ENYA!" She called after her. URGH! She won't turn around, she knew it! Louisa tucked her wand in (She didn't want to do some 'furry' spells again) and ran over to Enya grabbing her elbow.
"Hey! Don't run away as you always do! Talk to me. I told you, I didn't spoil your hard work. I didn't mean to anyways, and I'm sorry if I did." Annoyed. So annoyed by her right now. "I turned the tent into green! Big deal." She waved her hands in the air. "If you don't want to pair with me, you should've said that from the beginning. You can still say that now and I'll just camp on my own." Stare!
[COLOR="Navy"][SIZE="2"]Cora started thinking about where to start on her tent. She thought she would start with painting the lake. She pointed her wand at her tent, "Pingo Blue". Blue bubbles shot out of her wand and hit her tent. She walked up to splotch and started smearing it around with her to make the lake. When she was done with the lake, Cora pointed her wand at her hand, "Scorgify". The blue paint disappeared from her hand.
Louisa blinked several times to make sure that Enya was actually turning around and walking away. Huh? Was she serious? Heh. Of course, when ever did Enya joke around?

Enya ignored Louisa when she continued to walk away. She wouldn't talk to the girl again. She had ruined her painting...AGAIN! The thought brought her back to the time in DA, when they had first met, how she had ruined her painting. And blamed it on her. How rude. Enya still didn't turn when she heard the older girl shout her name. She will NOT talk to the girl again.
But-But now she was grabbing her arm, pulling her to actually look at her. She had no choice of course. But she really didn't want to. The.Girl.Had.Ruined.Her.Art.Work. Glare. But she was saying she always ran away from things. SHE DID NOT! "I do NOT run away from things all the time!" SHe cried first glaring at the younger girl. "You always create them" She shot towards the girl.
Enya grabbed Louisa and made her look at their tent. Not destory her work? Ha! "Look!" She cried pointing, "My painting I painted on there is gone! I spent ages on that she you painted over it" She said right into the girl's ears. "Do you know how long that took me?" She asked dropping the girl's arm and stepping away. No she did NOT! She hadn't been there. At All!
"Big Deal!?" She cried next, Yes it was a BIG deal. Sigh. "You.Ruined.My.Tent.Art" She said in one sentence looking at the younger girl again. How rude of her! Sigh. But she guessed she didn't mean it of course. But she was too worked up to care. She listenede to Louisa speak again. Of course she had wanted the girl as a partner. They were best friends...sorta! But...but...she couldn't find a but. Enya began to breath, turn towards Louisa to say sorry.
Then she did the unthinkable.
She fell to the ground below her, and burst into tears. REAL tears.
