"She's right, muggle way is also the safest... for most."
*Matty smirked and got started on his tent but stopped at hearing his favorite word.*

"Cookies? Where?"

*They were after all his weakness. Any and all kinds Matty was there for a good cookie.*

Why was she here? If she wanted lesson's on how to live outdoors she'd send a letter to Vanessa and ask for it to be done. But what did this do with Runes!? Sigh. She'd find out she guessed. Enya prefered to work alone, so she went to get her material's - what ever they were - and found a space on her own somewhere. Okayy this was pointless. She didn't want to sleep in a camp! She wanted to sleep in her bed!

Enya stared at the material's in front of her - and the paint - ans smiled. Time to cause trouble. Grabbing the paintbrush she pulled the tent thiny towards her and began to write in large letters, "This is boring" The after that she added, This has NOTHING to do with Runes, Though it might, she didn't care.

"Nice to meet you" Cass said to the older girl with a smile as she set her tent down on the ground and pointed her wand at it. "Erecto." She said as the tent rose up and assembled itself.

"Hmm...I don't really like this shade..." Cass said to herself as she eyed the hideous colored tent. She pointed her wand to the tent once more and cast a color-change charm on it, which resulted to the drab tent turning into a wonderful shade of debutant pink! "That's more like it!" She said happily as she gathered the shrunken furniture that she had dropped on the ground and tossed it in the tent "I'll deal with those later." Then she set off trying to make her tent prettier, but she didn't know how...and then it hit her! The Orchideous charm! She pointed her wand at her hand and said "Orchideous!" then a bunch of wonderful tulips appeared from the tip of her wand and she set them on the ground. When she was finally satisfied she turned to Kurumi and asked "What do you think? Too much?"

Oh these two were just hilarious. Mia grabbed hold of her stomach and pretended to laugh before rolling her eyes at the both of them.

She stood up and was tempted to glare at them. They were both saying practically the same thing to her. That she needed practice and it will take time. Mia wanted to know how to do magic NOW!!

And Finn was so getting into trouble later for the fire comment. It wasn't her fault that she tended to set everything on fire, she didn't mean to do it. It just happened.

So now they were both looking at her for help and Mia smiled a little. She could probably have some fun with this. "Okay first things first. I think you two should introduce yourself to each other." They were talking to her but not to each other. If they were all going to work together then you know they should at least know each others names.

"Next Finn you grab the poles. Matty you and I will handle the actual tent." She looked at the both of the expectantly.

Hop to it boys I ain't got all day.

Mia nodded her head enthusiastically. "Yep I sure do." And then figuring she should explain that a little more, she continued. "I live in a commune in Australia. We have a couple of huts as well but the older people live in those. It's not that bad but there's not a lot of room."

She stopped talking to listen to what the older girl was saying and nodded her head again. "Oh, okay then. Muggle way it is then." Mia inclined her head towards Finn and Matty. "It looks like I've got a couple of helpers so it shouldn't take too long."

Ever the optimist was Mia.

Kurumi smiled at the newcomer and offered her hand. "I'm Kurumi," she was feeling must better about introducing herself now that she had been at Hogwarts for a few days. "I'm kind of know as a magical girl scout." She paused for a moment looking back at her tent. If only she had cookies to put in it...She then remembered that she had a fresh batch waiting in the girls' dormitory, but they were still in the middle of a class, so food was probably not a good idea. "I love baking cookies and I have a new batch waiting in the dormitory. After class you are welcome to have one."


Oooooh! That was a fancy trick! Kurumi wanted to try it herself. She pointed at the tree her tent hung suspended from and said, "Orchideous!" just as she had seen Cassandra do. Her wand began spouting pink flowers that floated up to the tree covering it in them. She looked back at Cassandra. "As long as mine isn't too much," she laughed answered her question about her tent. Using magic was so much fun!

*Leave it to Mia to make him talk to people. not that he didn't want to, he just wasn't good at. Walking over to Finn he held a hand out to him.*
"H-Hello, I'm Matty..."
*Once that was done Matty started pulling out the tent looking at it with a loss.*
"Okay... This is meant to stay on the poles how?"

*Matty then smiled about the cookies. He walked over and bowed to her in thanks.*
"That would be g-great. I'm Matty by the way."

Oh. He actually had to get to know this person. Well he figured that it was probably a good idea, considering that they would be working together. Finn smiled at the other guy, whom looked a little younger. "Hey...I'm Finn." He nodded as he shook the other guys hand. Okay so introductions were over now, and he turned back to Mia, so that he could listen to her.

So he was going to look after the poles. That was what they were called? They looked more like sticks to him. He grabbed them off the floor, looking at them. He still really had no idea what to do with them, at aalll. He was so silly really, so he kinda held them in his hands, staring at Mia. How did she know all this stuff?

Oh good god.

Was that how boys conversed with each other? No wonder they hung around girls all the time. They both had no problems talking to her but that was probably because she talked everyone's ear off anyway.

At Matty's question, Mia gave him a smile and held up the canvas of the tent. "See these little eyelets here. That's where you stick the pole through."

She turned to Finn who was standing there looking totally bewildered and she sighed deeply. This was going to take a lot longer than she thought. "Finn, you're holding it upside down. See how the pole has a spiky end on it? Well that part needs to go through the hole in this canvas." She held it up for him to see.

And weren't boys supposed to be good at these outdoorsy type things?

"Oh... right. That makes sense..." *He must look like a dumb prat. Blokes were meant to do out door stuff. Build tents, hunt, fire good, but he had no idea what to do. It wasn't hard to see that he was an indoor kind of guy.*

The one word that Davina heard, as she took one foot out of the lakewater, was campfire. Mmmhhm. S'mores. "We'll have a grand campfire soon," she said cheerfully, as she rose to her feet to see how everyone was getting on. Grand campfire, under her supervision. Because fire and unsupervised students... do not mix well.

Paint. Such fun. Di leaned a bit, to take a peek. Only to find her forehead crease into a frown the moment that she did so. This, if she remembered correctly, was one of the students who had been penalized for a food fight, at the start-of-term feast.

"That's five points from Ravenclaw for disrespect," she said, quietly. Ravenclaw. Her former house. Di checked a frown. "I expect you to get on with the actual task now, Miss Mayberry."

Enya jumped a little when someone spoke above her. She hadn't actually thought someone would come inspect her work. But she was bored that was true. Enya turned to look at the Professor taking the class, and she even smiled a little at the fact five points was taking from her house. Meh she didn't really care, but other's might she knew. Sigh, time to get to some work it seems. Sighing Enya picked up her wand and cleaned her tent.

Picking up her paint brush again she began to paint small flower's, even a little picture of some mountain she had once drawn in her notebook - which was in her bag at the moment. Once that was done she put down her brush and looked around. Time for some cookies, she was hungry.

WHHAAAT. He had it upside down. Finn actually burst out laughing at himself. Mann. He was so stupid. "Opps." He grinned sheepishly as he turned the pole around. To be honest though, how was he meant to know that, he wasn't a muggle or something.
In that hole?" ahh. That was how it was going to go into the tent. Clever Finn you finally worked it out.

"I gett it!" He grinned, because well he felt pretty epic, which meant that he was totally cool. "So there's like a hole for each pole?"

The student had proceeded to do as directed. Davina gave her a little nod and, as she moved on to inspect the next tent, decided that Miss Mayberry could earn back the points she had lost, if she continued to behave for the rest of the lesson.

Kurumi was a bit startled to hear the professor speak. She had been so involved in adding small pink flowers on the tree her tent hung from to notice. "I-I'm looking forward to it, Professor," Kurumi smiled bowing out of habit. Kurumi couldn't wait for a campfire..she really hoped that there would be smores...

Then Kurumi got a little nervous as she realized that the Professor was now walking around to observe their work. She sure hoped her crazy idea of hanging a tent from a tree was satisfactory...she thought it was pretty creative.

She couldn't find any cookies, damn! But when she finally went back to her tent she sat down, staring at the painting she had drawn. She quite liked what she had done, but now what did she need to do. She actually hadn't been paying attention, though she wouldn't say. But what did she need to do.

Thinking - biting her bottom lip - she picked up her wand, waving it over her tent and saying a simple spell. Next it made it self up, into a actually tent she could sleep in, before her. That down, she might be able to actually sleep. Hmm, she might but she really wasn't sure. Or she could....work!?

Lucy gathered the things required to make the tent and began working on it, she took some nails and had then put into the ground so that they won't move. She worked on some things more than the nails that were required for the tent and then with a lot of hard work there it was her tent was ready. She looked around to find professor to show her the tent she made with her hard work put in it "Professor i would like to show you something i made" she said smiling and showed professor her tent.

Mia giggled at the both of them. They were so cute. It made her feel better after her epic fail from a few moments ago.

"Okay Finn, I'll hold the pole up while you loop the rope over the spiky end of the pole. Matty you take the other end of the rope and tie it to the peg and then stick it into the ground. Also you need to make sure the rope is tort."

And she would just stand here and hold the pole while these two did all the work.

Mwhahaha.

Being cute comes in handy at times.

Mmhhmm? Di turned around at the sound of a female voice. Oh, a finished tent. Quite excellent, quite excellent.

"It looks wonderful," she said, cheerfully.

"Okay..." *That was a lot of information but he did as he was asked. Once he got the rope he went to work. After doing this for a few minutes he looked over at Mia and frowned.*

"Oi! We do all this and you just stand there?"

*He would never speak like that but he was just messing around. Matty had become very comfortable when around Mia.*

Daniel had been sitting on his cushion for a while watching everyone start and trying to make tents. Some were better then others but Daniel was trying to pick a group to join. Maybe someone familiar....

He knew that guy! He was kid with the pygmy puff. He could join his group couldn't he? Daniel didn't think they would say no to him so he got up and walked over. " Do you mind if I help?" he asked looking at the three older students. How could they refuse to him?

Information overlead. Finn kinda just stared at Mia for a few moments, taking it all in. Did she really think that they were like super gods who put tents up all the while? He'd never even been in a tent before he'd met her, so he really had no idea what to do.
But then he realise something, Matty and him were going to be doing all the jobs, whilst Mia stood there.

He laughed at what Matty said. "I think I agree with Matty." He grinned, but still handing over the pole to Mia. "We're not doing all the work for you."

"Great," he started gleefully, and continued. "I shall build a tent, then." But how to build a tent? He got to know how for he didn't want to fail in this very task. Not at all.

Cedric glanced around, contemplating the whole place to know where would be the best place to set a tent. He didn't notice that Cameron the Pygmy Puff owner was actually attending the Runes class until he saw her talk with their professor.

He walked toward the girl with a smug yet genuine smile upon his face, "YOU. You seem like having fun bossing--I mean, helping people build their tent. You an expert tent-builder?" He asked, as he raked a hand through his tousled curly hair. Whiiiistle.

"Hey! You two are the one's who don't know how to put a tent up. I am showing you how it is done."

Cue innocent smile.

"And I am not just standing here. I am holding the pole up, making sure that it is straight and that it doesn't fall on your heads while you two muddle your way through this."

Sheesh! She was just trying to help them.

Mia gave Finn another sweet smile. "Put the rope on the pole Finn...please."

Oooh and here came another worker. Mia gave the young boy a bright smile. "Of course not. Please come and help these two dunderheads." She giggled and gave him a wink.

"Why don't you grab another pole and put it through the hole in the back of the tent so that we can get the front end and back end up and then we'll start on the sides."

Mmmhmm do what the girl says, she knows what she's talking about.

*Matty saw the smaller boy and nodded.*
"S-sure. As you can s-see we need all the help we can get."

*Matty smiled seeing that Finn agreed and he fake glared at Mia waiting for her answer. Hearing it he looked down like a hurt puppy and got back to work. Every few seconds giving her the sad puppy dog look.*

Dunderheads? Daniel gave a little laugh. It was funny. But she better not call him a dunderhead but she hadn't so he nodded "Sure I can do that" he said before walking to a pole that still had to be done. He didn't like working but atleast he wasn't the only one.
Daniel looked towards the guy who had spoken still holding his pole. " Thanks" he said. He was going to help anyway but it was nice of him to say yes. Oh and introductions. "I'm Daniel" he introduced before looking back at his pole.

So just through the hole? Daniel began to try and pull the pole into the hole
