Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

She was curious to meet them, seeing how she hasn't much time to talk with too many people. She walked over hesitantly thinking, what are they gonna think you look like something that crossed between Ghost Busters and Godzilla... oh well better now than... she gigled...or homework. Sophia beamed at the girl. "Nice to meet you Witsy!" she said. "I am Lombardi, Sophia Lombardi." she said, trying and failing to be like James Bond. Witsy probably wouldn't understand the joke, but it was funny to Sophia.

Rubiey entered the Common Room, tired after a looooong day down in Hogsmeade. Who knew shopping could be so exhausting?!
Ugh, full house, by the looks of things, everyone seemed to be hiding from the bitter wind and rain outside. Oh, the joys of winter. *eyeroll*
Her blue eyes scanning the room, Rubiey finally spotted a seat by the fire. Perfecto! Rubiey zooooooooooooooomed over, and collapsed into it, letting the warmth of the fire unfreeze her poor tootsies. She was not going out again. Ever. Hmph.

Heather had come back from Hogsmeade, tired and eyes still a little swollen from all the crying. It's not like she and her best friend had a fight, but because her best friend was mad at her regarding a secret she had made her cry so much. She had gladly restrained herself from crying more on the way back to the castle and now that she's here in the common room, all she wanted to do was rest herself.
She found her body too tired to even walk further and climb up to the dormitories (because she planned to bury her face on the pillows and cry herself to sleep and hopefully, kurumi won't notice it much when she arrives) so she looked around the common room and found a vacant and comfy seat by the warm fire.
She walked towards the seat and plopped her little self down and stared at the fire until her eye lids shut tight. She was still awake, able to hear the voices of the other people present in the common room, but her thoughts were heavy and wanted her to sleep even for a little while until she can get even a little strength and walk up to the dormitories again.

She weakly smiled as well, a gesture she had given acknowledging the concern of the other girl, though her cheeks flushed red that she had attracted attention and worried someone she had not yet met. "oh..u-hm..." she started to stutter owing the fact that she as quite shy in meeting new people. "h-hi...er...i-i'm so-sorry i b-bothered you..." she said and sat up straight from her slouched position on the chair. She hoped that the girl had not noticed how swollen her eyes were from crying earlier. "n-no...i don't want you to go away...uhm...it might be rude of me to send someone who was just concerned away...a-and...thanks....for asking..." she blushed even redder she looked as if she had a fever. "I-i'm Heather. N-nice meeting you, Lilyana." she gave the girl a smile, perhaps an awkward smile but it didn't matter. Heather had met a new friend, maybe in an awkward time, but it sure was nice there was someone she had never met that was kind and caring and she will be friends with.

She had three bags from Honeydukes that included enough gum to last her and her bubble Quidditch friends the rest of the term hopefully. She also had a bag with the new dressrobes Fee had helped her pick out at Gladrags Wizardwear. She had also bought some new school supplies at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop. The list went on and on and all her bags were now on the ground surrounding her feet.
Kurumi looked over at Heather, who was seemingly asleep and...without Mr. Panda?! Now that was strange. Kurumi was about to say something when Walnut made her presence known with a soft meow and a quick jump onto the couch next to Heather where she then curled up in a ball on Heather's lap.
