Salander was looking at the list on the board Ok, spells not to use.... but his train of thought was interrupted by a valid question from the 'Claw. The Slytherin lad burst out laughing. Replying to the Professor he said "Well, we could use Wingardium Leviosa and dump a bucket of water on that older student. And if she's hot... well she wont be hot anymore would she? She'd be... wet." Like absolutely soakin..

Ooooh! This excersise sounded kinda cool!

He nodded at both Destiny and Treyen's suggestions. "We're looking at options, so calling on someone else is always an option. I would hope that you wouldn't just leave and hope it was handled by someone else, but sometimes we have to concede that the situation is out of our hands. But let's try magical solutions as part of the exercise."

"I find that water does not wash away hotness." To the contrary sometimes. "But I like your suggestion. The water may surprise the bully into stopping."

"Other suggestions?"

"Well yeahhh but, if she's hot see, I'd kiss her into submission and then she'd be all distracted, swooning naturally, and while she's swooning, me being the hero that I am, I'd catch the kid." You know with the awesome sliiiiiiide in there on your knees.

"Or you know, if we're using magic, assuming we're of age and all, I'd use glisseo on the ground, make the big guy fall over, and a cushioning charm under the kid." covering all bases here.

"You can conjure a cushioning charm for when the student falls," She chimed in. "For when he falls." But as for the older student. Hm. That one would be a little harder to deal with if they couldn't use the spells on the list.

"Maybe..." She twirled her wand slowly as she pondered. "Conjure a snake and hope it bites the bully on the ankle." That seemed kinda harsh tough...

"Or maybe just scare him." Unless he wasn't afraid of snakes, then she would have to find another way to deal with the guy.

How exactly was a little boy as himself be of some help, especially when he couldn't use magic? Let's pretend he could.

Hand up in the air, "We could always summon his wand...but that would make him angry" and Treyen was really short.

"I'd use confundus on the caster,that way the person casting would be to confused to concentrate and drop the personatwhich point I'll cast levicorpus but only to gently put the person back on the ground. Then I would quickly leave with the victim with no trouble.", Chloe replied with a smile.

Alex was the person who suggested Levicorpus she should know the counter spell of it, what was it??
"I have read it somewhere" she thought to herself.
she begin to think hard...
"Levicorpus is to dangle in air means leviate so what is to release??? l-l-l-liberate??? li-li-lib--LIBRACORPUS-- liberate the body.. yes!!!" she had it ready.
Alex raised her hand...
"Professor we can as a preliminary step just free the younger person by casting Libracorpus spell and then use Levicorpous spell on the elder fellow!!!"
Alex new she said something stupid, but atleast she answered...

vienna answered with "I would cast a hover charm on the young student than Avis at the older student and while he is been chased by the birds". "The younger student can be lowered to the ground with a cushioning charm". Vienna was slightly unsure of her answer

Kurumi scratched her head and listened to each student's answer. "Professor, I like Mr. Bennett's idea of using liberacorpus first and then 'Accio wand'" to summon the older student's wand." She was always passive and wouldn't wand to directly attack anyone. "Instead of Accio, you could always use Expelliarmus instead. If the big scary and hairy older student came charging at you...maybe use Avis to create a distraction and run away with the other student? Or you could use the Cheering Charm to make them laugh so hard that you could run away?" No need to hurt anyone...right?

"That's a new one! Accio hasn't been mentioned yet, but it's a very useful spell in many situations," Tate nodded enthusiastically. "And you didn't let the younger student fall."

"A bubble? Do you have a spell for that? A... bubble wand?" Hehe. That would be fun.

"You have a great deal of confidence in your own powers, Wilkes. I'd be interested in the testimony of one of these girls you've kissed into submission. You might be a good weapon in the war against the Dark Arts. We'll just send you right in and they'll all lay down their arms." Cue heavy sarcasm.

"But... glisseo and a cushioning charm. Clever. You bring up an excellent point... most of the class aren't yet legally permitted to use magic outside of Hogwarts. Are there circumstances in which that isn't true?"

"You're a little scary, you know that? Very creative, though. Good mind."

"I think anything you did at this point would make the bully mad, but it's good to anticipate the reaction to your spells."

"Confundus is another good spell, although in some cases, you can over-use the spell and permanently confuse someone, or they can become more susceptible to the spell over time. I like the spells in extreme circumstances, though."

"You know, Dakest, that's an interesting point. Rushing in to save the day when you aren't wanted or needed wouldn't win over anyone, especially if you bit him with a snake or made him drop his little friend on his head. But assuming this really is a bullying situation... I like how you're thinking."

"Many spells have another spell that produces the opposite effect. Growing and shrinking. Raising and lowering. Locking and unlocking. It's good to know both sides, especially if you want to put something back to rights when you're finished."

Now that they'd settled an easier situation, Tate was ready to move on to a more difficult one. "Let's try something else. In spite of the dangers, you go for a walk in the Forbidden Forest. You hear crackling in the bushes. What do you do?"

"I would perform a repelling charm to keep whatever is in the bush from getting close to me."

If she heard cackling in the bushes? Like seriously?

Well she'd know what she did in the first scene, but this forbidden forest one...why would someone go in there? Okay, well she had in her first year, but that was when she didn't know any better! She grew up practically in a forest at home.

"What if you disillusioned yourself? And then...kicked the bush hard before running?" RUN!. RAN Ran ran...all the way back to the common room, because obviously a professor would somehow pop up out of nowhere and give you detention. It was inevitable! It happened allll the times.

Lexi snorted and raised her hand, "Well, first off we are not ALLOWED in the Forbidden Forest, but if that were me I would turn and run like he... well I would run. But for arguments sake you could cast Petrificus Totalus in the direction of the sound. If it is a person that would definitely give you time to run away." She was NEVER going back into the Forest for any reason... yeah. NEVER.

Treyen's hand was raised, "We cast a Disillusionment Charm on ourselves first, an keep quiet until we know we're safe to...go back towards the Castle, or keep going" if there was something else that needed to be done, then it would depend on what would happen after he was invisible.

"Truth." Jimmy agreed, unruffled by the sarcasm. "But only if they're hot, sir."

"With respect sir, got the whole legal use thing from..." He turned around and gestured at Destiny. Heyyy she was kind of pretty. "...her. She mentioned getting someone of age. But in exceptional circumstances, for self-defense and all, you can use your wand if you're not of age, or if someone like you, for example, gave permission. Thats why when I got tutored at home, I could use magic." Jim explained casually.

He listened to the next scenario.

Man. Why would anyone assume it was people in the bushes?

"I'd use Homenum Revelio which'd at least tell you if you were dealing with a human or not." Pause. "or avoid the bushes, sir."

Arya found her being scary, even a little, very amusing. Enough to make her grin. She would have to use that to her advantage at some point. Like when that hobo tried to mess with her again

Well....she would NEVER go for a walk in the forbidden forest without one of the professors she trusted, but in a hypothetical situation. Hm. "I wouldn't attack first, cause there are a lot of harmless creatures living in the forest that could have made the noise." And she would hate to harm one of them. "But I would keep quiet, and vigilant. Have my wand up and ready to cast in case it is something dangerous, and sloooowly head back to the castle." Unless it was a thestral. She would ride one of those sweet creatures.

Blink. I go to the Forbidden Forest for a walk? What...for kicks?
But then again this was the lad who dared the Whomping Willow for kicks so maybe its not that impossible to imagine.

His eyes flicked back at the list on the board, trying to come up with an answer that wasnt on the list "Conjure a really big and long wall between myself and the bushes. In fact, conjure a wall all around that area of the bushes. If its a friendly they'd yell out and it would be ok to get rid of the wall. If its a hostile then hopefully that wall will contain them while I run for safety."

Walking in the Forbidden Forest?

Destiny would never, EVER take a walk in the Forbidden Forest. It was far too forbidden for her liking, so this scenario thing had nothing to do with her. Besides, if she was in the forest, she would be the thing making the rustling noises in the bush, and she did not like what people were suggesting!

Basically, if she was in the bush, she'd be DEAD!

Scoffing, she raised her hand, "You could ask whatever or whoever was in the bush to come out. Or use aguamenti." Makes the bush grow..or something.

Was she being gestured at?

She felt violated.

Brittany thought for a second as she looked at the list the professor had given. "Well me personally i would use the stupfy spell so they wouldnt get a chance to attack me first." Brittany said honestly. She didnt care if it was a little bunny. It WAS going to be stupfied!!!!

Vienna thought to herself why on earth would i just decide to take a stroll in the forbidden forest. Answering the Headmaster she said "I Would cast a Bedazzling hex on my self making sure i was concealed than i would wait and see what came out of the bushes" "Either that or i would just run for my life it is the forbidden forest after all"

Dianna raised her hand. "I think I'll do Impedimenta directly at the bush before running over to a tree and wait for the intruder to come out.." Dianna said. Maybe she'll add a kick or two afterward. But who will go to the Forbidden Forest alone for no apparent reason at all? Definitely not her.
