Aiden nodded. And on another brighter note, it appeared that Trixie was near the end of her tears. When she brought up her being mad at Vanessa, he shook his head. "Don't be mad at her. I agreed to it." He took a glance over at the hourglasses. Hmmh. Looked like Gryffindor wasn't doing so well. He turned back to Trixie. "Plus, I think she just wanted a solution to it all so badly that she just did whatever came to mind." It's not like any of them were faultless. Hah. On the contrary.

Trixie still continued to frown. "But she still used you. It's not like you had a choice right?" she asked. It's hard to say no to someone like Vanessa. "And it hasn't exactly worked has it? The last I heard Patrick had kissed Ella or something" she frowned again. "So she can't actually have Patrick" she sighed. She followed his eyeline over to the hourglasses and smiled slightly. "Not doing so well are ya?" she asked giggling slightly. "Looks like us Snakes are gonna beat you gryffie's this term" she teased him.

"Well, no. I could have said 'no.' I should have said 'no.'" But he didn't. And Aiden didn't have any timeturner to change that. "Yeah, yeah. I heard about Ella and Patrick's kiss," he told her, dismissing it with a wave of the hand. He didn't want to talk about them anymore. He was grateful when she took to the subject of house points. "Looks that way, huh?" He didn't mind too much if they lost. Not that he would want to lose any points for his house, of course. But, frankly, he'd prefer winning the quidditch cup over the house cup.

Trixie nodded. "Guess she's hard to resist yes?" she asked a little bit of bitterness reflected in her tone. "Unlike me" she added on sadly. She raised an eyebrow as he dismissed the subject of Ella and Patrick's kiss. What? Was he jealous or something? But by the fact he didn't seem to happy she continued no further. She nodded and grinned a little evilly. "your going down Chevalier. Quidditch cup included" she added playfully.

Hard to resist? Whatever that meant. "I just wanted to help her out." Aiden sighed as she tacked on that last bit. "Trixie, of course you're hard to resist. I couldn't imagine being at Hogwarts and not being friends with you." He walked over closer to the hourglasses, and flicked the one with the red grains of sand. Nothing changed. Not that he expected anything to. He smirked as she said how his house was 'going down,' and he turned to look at her. "Trixie, I do believe Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup last term. Reigning champs, right here."

Trixie smiled and blushed as he told her that he couldn't imagine Hogwarts without her friendship. "Thank you Aiden. I couldn't imagine Hogwarts without you either" she grinned sweetly and stood up from where she was sat. Trixie rolled her eyes. "You may have been lucky last time but us Slytherins are so gonna win! I mean look at all the new Slytherins this year. And we have Oliver as captain" she grinned evilly.

"Yeah, there is an unusually large amount of Slytherins.." Aiden agreed. Hmm. Maybe something in the water. "But that doesn't mean you'll win the Quidditch Cup. And, I don't know who Oliver is, so.." He shrugged. Time would tell.

Kate went to the see the house points.
"Just 69?...Gryffindor is 69 and Hufflepuf is 177? What is happening????!!!! Not that I dislike Huffy, but....why? WHY?!"
"I MUST work harder...." Kate took a look at the hourglasses one more time "unbelievable..." And left the room.

Annie was nervous. By the morning, she recieved an owl from her dad, announcing her baby sister's arrival anytime during the day. That moment, she wanted to be there, with her and forget all about school, but that ought to be impossible. She had a life, she had lessons to attend, she had Drew there.

Hopefully, he would calm her down. Because at that moment, if you tried to scare Anna, she might just tackle you out of thin air.

Of course Drew wasn't paying any attention to were he was going and why was this? What else could it be but he has his nose inside of a book. He made his way to the hourglass he knew it would probably be nice and quite. Hehe! Perrrrfect place to read. The libary was getting boring....

But as he was not watching he bumped into somebody! Ohhhh noes!!!!

"I'm soooo sorry." He said quickly before seeing who it actaully was. It was Annie! He shut his book with a snap! "Heyyyyy. I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked quickly puting one hand on her waist the other holding his book.

Walking from one corner to another, Annie also wasn't noticing where she was walking or whoever was coming through the Hourglasses room. She was so nervous, excited. She watned to meet her newborn sister.

And then, from nowhere, someone bumped into her. She instantly jumped, ready to say anything insulting, but first...she had to see those eyes. She smiled wide as Drew got hold of her waist as he shut his book. "Don't worry...I guess we are both...distracted..." She said, giving him a tight hug though immediately letting go. "Did I hurt you, though?" She asked.

"Guess what...?" She asked, teasingly as she smiled wide.

Drew saw that wide smile and in seconds he had one to match. "Yeahhhh. I guess we were." He said still smiling as Annie hugged him tight. He did the same until she let go. "No you didn't." He promised.

To Annie's teasing tone of voice Drew raised an eyebrow and gave her a half smile. "Hmmmm what?" He asked in his normal soft tone.

"Okay, prepare drums...because this might be like the happiest day of my life...well, after getting to be your girlfriend, of course...but maybe I'm going to nervous, being all trembling, feeling all excited, and about to hit anyone that crosses my path...because that's what happens when..." Annie stopped, she needed to take a deep breath. She was babbling, mumbling, her voice was even squeaky.

"...when after two hours, all you want to do is be with your mom because she just gave birth to your baby sister..." She almost fainted.

Geez.

Drew listened quietly as Annie went on and on about stuff he didn't understand. Until finallly she said that her mother had had her baby sister. Awww! "Annie that's great!" He said smiling wide as he wrapped his arms around her tight to hug her.

Annie jumped, quite high as Drew was hugging her. "See, I'm all freaked out. I feel like this close to faint. I want to be with my mom, but I have classes, Hogwarts..." Ugh, it made it so much difficult to choose. She didn't want to lose a day inside that castle. She knew she was going to have to wait until Christmas break to meet Paloma.

"And her name is Paloma, like a dove..." She told Drew, to that point of crying, feeling like if she was a mom, herself.

Drew laughed as Annie jumped when he hugged her. Awwww Drew felt bad that Annie couldn't be home right now with her family and her sister. "You will see her during Christmas break, and maybe you can go back before that. Like on a weekend or something." He suggested.

"That's a very pretty name." He said pulling out of the hug. He took her hand as he gave her a small smile.

Annie smiled. Drew was really trying to calm those nerves of hers. She wasn't ready to be calm yet, though. It was too much happiness to hold in one day. "Thanks, but I think I'll stick to the idea of being with mom for the whole Christmas break, and help her with Paloma...and enjoying the part of being the older sister...it sounds weird..." She blinked a few times.

"Yes, it is...mom and I chose it...dad is too weird to pick out names.." She giggled. "Did you know she wanted to name her own daughter Pancrasia?" She shivered at just the memory of her father trying to give her youngest daughter such weird name.

Now, let's fix up updates. "So, what are you reading, Mr. Sparks...?" She asked, taking the book off his hand, though still holding Drew's. Out of the excitement, she tiptoed a bit and kissed his cheek.

Drew just smiled back to Annie she seemed soooo happy about her new sister. Hehe! She was sooo cute when she was this happy. "I understand what you are saying and that makes total sense." He said to her.

"What am I reading?" He asked back in a form of a question as Annie took the book out of his hands and kissed him on the cheek. "That would be Shakespeare."

"Shakespeare?" Annie asked, taking a look at the book once again. "I guess I should have figured you were one of those romantic Shakespeareans...around here..." She said, flipping through the pages. "What's your favourite Shakespeare piece of art?" Of course, for Annie...it was Romeo and Juliet, and sometimes Hamlet, but it seemed so dramatic and traumatic for her life.

So, Annie was kind of speechless now. Maybe it was the whole deal of now being the eldest a family, and being an example for a little girl, to take care of her...

"And, how is your family?" She asked him. It had been a long time since she heard about them, well...since the little kitty accident.

Olivia felt hyponotized by the hourglasses, she didn't know why but they were just so pretty. Stare. All serious thoughts were erased from Olivia's head all she could think about was the pretty hourglasses standing before her.

La la laaaaaaa.

Ella sauntered throughout the Hogwarts Castle as she did on many occasions. Ooh the hourglasses. A grin surfaced on her face when she saw that Slytherin currently had the most house points. That's how it should be, mhm. Looking to the side casually, Ella noticed a familiar face of someone she hadn't spoken to in ages. "Olivia?" She said to the pink haired girl. "What're you doing here? You look a little dazed." Ella chuckled at her friend's expression. Maybe the sight of the hourglasses were quite awesome to her.

"Huh ?"Olivia said, in a dreamy sort of voice. She then quckly shook her head, pink hair falling in her face. "Ohh uhh...sorry ."She said, still a bit dazed. Curse pretty shiny hourglasses ! hehe."What's up ?"She said, now looking at Ella. It seemed like it had been a good while sense she had spoken to Ella."What's up with the whole Trixie getting hurt by Patrick thing ?"Olivia said, now remembering the conversation she had with Aiden.

Ella laughed lightly at Olivia's obvious zone out moment. "I was just wandering around everywhere." She said with a nod. "I swear, everytime I go walking around, I find somewhere new." She grinned. That was one of the few things that she loved about Hogwarts. So many places to explore. As she brought up the whole Patrick stupifying Trixie incident, her expression hardened. "I haven't really asked him why he did it. But he said to me that he has a history of violence or something." Crap. She had to stop mentioning Patrick's words to other people. For all she knew, he would hate her for blabbing to too many others.

"Seen much of Vanessa lately?" Ella said casually, but curiously all the same. She knew that Olivia was good friends with Vanessa, so it was the best way to find out any information that she needed to know. "Has she still got feelings for Patrick? And please don't lie if you do know." She pleaded. Truthfully, this was all that was playing on Ella's mind lately. Whether Patrick was just using her to make Vanessa jealous or something.

Olivia laughed along with Ella though she wasn't sure exactly why she was laughing. Eh..oh well."I was just exploring. I found these pretty hourglasses..."she said while pointing to the hourglasses, not looknig at them for fear she might make that funny face again. She then looked at the hourglasses as Ella spoke of Patrick.

And then she was staring again. Olivia shook her head as she heard Ella mention Vanessa's name."No..I only talked to her a fe days ago ..she seemed upset by something."she said with a shrug of her shoulders. She was being totally honest, Vanessa wouldn't tell her what was wrong.

"Yeah they are pretty cool." Ella said, referring to the hourglasses standing in front of them. Only because the ones that were the fullest was the Slythie hourglass. Teehee. She tapped her foot on the ground and sighed heavily as Olivia didn't say anything back to what she said about Patrick.

"Right." Ella said simply with a sigh. That was disappointing. "She was probably upset because me and Patrick decided to make it official between us." She explained. But.. She still wasn't certain on that choice. Yes, she liked him a lot, but something was missing and there was certainly a lot of doubt. "Bit stupid really. She needs to get over it."
