Still munching on the rest of her cupcake, Vashti slightly raised an eyebrow. "What did you expect?" she asked after she had pulled blue cupcake away from her mouth and had swallowed the part she was eating. She probably had some of the icing from the cupcake on her face, but she didn't really care if she did. Anything blue was good to have at the moment.
Ellie giggled, "Well, I expected to find the common room quiet, actually."

"I'm Abby Hartzler," she replied, peeling the rest of her cupcake off its paper and popping it in her mouth. Was it just her, or was blue food the best? Blueberries, blue corn chips... blue cheese? Nah, that was white. And Abby wasn't really fond of it anyway. Wiping a bit of frosting off her fingers with her napkin, Abby looked back up at Kellen. "Anyway, nice to meet you," she said with a pleasant smile. "What year are you in?"

Ooooh blue food? Celandine went to investigate.
Then, Abby noticed the arrival of several more people at the food table. She didn't realize that blue food was so appealing. Wasn't it the color red that mad people hungry? Still, the blues were pretty, so that was no surprise. Seeing a girl around her age approach, Abby gave her a friendly smile. Now... were there any blue drinks? She looked around. Her eyes rested on a blue pitcher. Leaning in closer to look at it, she realized that it was orange. Orange juice. Yuck.

But, of course, Ravenclaw was the best house. Just sayin'. "What year are you in?" he asked Abby, peeling off the paper on his cupcake.
"And you too," Abby replied, stepping awayyy from the orange juice.
She laughed a little at his next few words. "Do they get into it in a friendly kind of way, or is it more intense?" she asked, raising one eyebrow. It was generally the friendly type back at home. Nothing more than good-spirited competition. And a few pranks along the way. Hehe.
"I'm in yeeear six," she said, holding up six of her fingers to indicate the number. "How 'bout you?"
Victoria glanced around the party, eating a cupcake to have something in her mouth. She certainly felt uncomfortable with being in a large crowd, much like before. However, she tried to stay positive since Ravenclaw did win the cup last term.
"Hi Kellen!" Cela forgot herself a bit and bounced over to where Kellen and Mina were standing, she did catch herself after a second and walk with a bit more decorum. Obviously setting an example. Obviously.
"You two signed up for the duelling club yet?"
"Hello." The amused smirk that was on his face at her bouncing faded a little at the mention of dueling, and he shrugged, "Well, not... no, I haven't. Not much of a dueler, really. Have you?"

"Mostly just a friendly way." Kel told her, nodding once. At least, from what he knew it was just friendly. But who knew. Maybe there was a very...crazy person out there who really got into it. You never know.
"I'm a sixth year, too!" he said, surprised. He reeeally needed to get out more and meet more people from Ravenclaw. Especially if they were in his year!

Mina smiled and nibbled on what was left of her second cupcake. Cleaning the crumbles from her face, she smiled and greated the Head girl back. "Hey Cela! Congrats on Head Girl, I had a feeling you would get it." she smiled. It was a no brainer, but it was great to see that Head Girl badge on her.
Grabbing another cupcake, she looked at Kellen and nodded. "Yes, cupcakes must be listened to. I couldn't just ignore them and they are so yummy to boot," she nodded. The sugar was probably going straight to her head, but she wasn't too concerned about it now. "I'm kind of jealous that cupcakes I make aren't as delicious, but that just means I'll have to keep trying," she giggled. Yes, the sugar was definitely going to her head.
Seeing Cela walking over, she smiled brightly and nodded. "Of course, it sounded interesting and I have a feeling I need all the help I can get in the area," she replied. It wasn't like she was really eve planning on dueling again, but it wouldn't hurt to be prepared and joining a club would be good for her. She did need to keep herself busy and her mind occupied.

Eep. OWLs, huh? "Good luck to ya," Abby said, pushing aside the orange juice to reach for the milk. She poured herself a glass and took a sip. Ahh, what else could go better with cupcakes?

Victoria glanced at Vashti, wondering if she should go over there. However, she noticed her talking with Ellie and felt that she better not intrude. With a sigh, she walked over to chair and sat down, her eyes on the floor.
Abby noticed a couple of younger girls close by where she was standing. Well, they didn't look too busy themselves, so she offered the girls a friendly smile. "Hi, there," she said with a short wave.
Alcemee replied, "Hi. I'm Alcemee. What's your name?"

Why did everyone in this school love dueling? Why? Kellen shrugged and went back to eating his second cupcake, "Oh, go on, I'm sure you make great cupcakes." Cooking club. Now there was something he wouldn't mind taking. Never mind this dueling business. Cooking club had delicious results!

Hmm, how many Ravenclaws had she met? Abby counted on her fingers. Ooone, twooo, threeee... three! "I think I've met probably around three, officially," she said. Meaning, they had introduced themselves to each other. As for names and such, she had picked up a whole lot more than just three.

There was butterbeer? Ooh, Abby set down her forgotten milk, reached over for a bottle and took a sip. Mmmmm.

Okay, the cupcakes were good, but were they really THAT good? Really? Abby watched wide-eyed as the boy practically inhaled food. Mina shook her head as she nommed on her cupcake. Her cupcakes weren't as good as these and she wasn't going to fool anyone by even trying to say they were. Cleaning her mouth, she shrugged. "They aren't terrible by any means but not as delicious. I'll have to try to improve my recipe." Perhaps she would just have to try everything and there would be many cupcakes to be tasted.
Reaching for a glass of pumpkin juice, she nodded happily at Cela. "Really? I would love any help." she replied. Dueling wasn't something she actively studied and all but she had a sinking feeling that she should probably look in to it. Merlin knew she could have used it last term. Shaking her head of the thought, she smiled back to Cela. "I'm positive you'll be one of the best Head Girls we'll ever have. First we had Livvy last year and now we have you. Really, I have no doubts that you'll do us all very proud." They were Ravenclaws and even though they set their standards high, she knew if anyone could reach their expectation, it would be Cela.
