"Oh no, of course not." Jen smiled. "So, which subject are you most excited for?" She asked Adelyn conversationally.
"Well, I think Transfiguration sounds interesting; changing something into something else could be really cool. But Defense Against the Dark Arts also sounds really exciting." She smiled, settling into the conversation nicely, "What about you?"

Alice roamed the halls. She could hear students talking excitedly, probably about the school. She sighed as she pulled her heavy trunk along with her, Alice was tired and wanted to sit down. She stepped into a compartment that she thought was empty, but was wrong. "Oh, is it okay if I stay?"

Phyre nodded. "Oh, it's fine," she said, sensing Teegan's hesistance. "Last year, there was a rather large battle in Hogwarts. I was hit with a lot of spells... Thrown into a lot of walls. Jen grinned. "Defense Against the Dark Arts hands down. My mum was excited to teach me that, she and my dad have been teaching me magic for quite some time, preparing me for Hogwarts." Jen said proudly, but she also didn't want to sound like she was bragging. "I want to be an auror when i grow up." She said with pride.
Sammy decieded to see if she could find someone to be friends with she see's a girl around her age sitting alone in a compartment Sammy knocks on the door and says Hi, are you in your first year at hogwarts?
"Hi! Yes, 1st year. You too, I suppose?. I'm Sophia by the way." she said.

Pam stepped into the front of the train, carrying a trunk in her right hand and holding a cage with an owl in the other. She was terribly nervous as it was her first time going to Hogwarts. "Wow", she thought to herself as she noticed that there were already many people. She started to make her way forward, trying to find an empty compartment. Luckily, she managed to find one rather quickly and she settled down.
Jen grinned. "Defense Against the Dark Arts hands down. My mum was excited to teach me that, she and my dad have been teaching me magic for quite some time, preparing me for Hogwarts." Adelyn smiled, slightly jealous of how much Jen knew about magic. The only things she knew about magic she had read in her school books. "That's so cool that both of your parents are wizards. Growing up surrounded by magic had to be spectacular. And wow, an auror? That's quite a goal, but I'm sure you'll become one."

Wynter listend as she spoke about it all. She nodded her head in the right places. Her story ended with both eyebrows raised. "Battle?" She questioned. "What happend in this battle, like what caused it?" she asked, her mind reeling through a bunch of possiblities.

"Sure." He gestured the seat infront of him. Zach was the kind of person that waited for someone to start a conversation in order for him to talk.
Adelyn smiled, slightly jealous of how much Jen knew about magic. The only things she knew about magic she had read in her school books. "That's so cool that both of your parents are wizards. "Aww, thank you. That's really nice. But enough about me! Tell me about you! what do you want to be when you grow up?" Jen asked curiously.
"Aww, thank you. That's really nice. But enough about me! Tell me about you! what do you want to be when you grow up?" Jen asked curiously.
"You're quite welcome. And well, I, uh. I'm actually not really sure. You see, I grew up in the muggle world, with my mum, and I didn't know a thing about magic until I got my letter." Adelyn felt slightly foolish compared to Jen's dreams of becoming an Auror.

Jen's face fell, she could tell that Adelyn didn't look very comfortable. That wasn't good, she certainly did not want to rub in the fact that she knew about magic before her. "What do your parents do for a living then?" She asked.

She responded, already regretting bringing the topic of her father into the conversation. It always made people more uncomfortable.

"I've lived with Calpurnia all my life," Phyre replied. "She might as well have been my mother... So the accent is unmistakable to me." She smiled as Teegan took her hand, then slowly let her magic spread across her hand. For a moment, she could feel it escape, running up Teegan's arm and illuminating her in Phyre's mind for a moment. This was her way of seeing... Her only way of seeing. And wow... Teegan was older than them. A good bit older. "I'm Sapphyre Black, better known as Phyre."

But she turned back to Phyre and listened to what she said. Thus, deciding she wouldn't leave. "That's very interesting." Wynter told her. She brushed her long blonde hair behind her shoulders and messed with her bangs, pushing them behind her ears. "My sister basically raised me." She told her softly, talking normally, very happy that Phyre could understand her thorugh her accent with no worries. "My friends back home call me Teegan, or Teeg." She told her, she got really annoyed with being called Wynter.

Colette turned as someone entered their compartment. She smiled warmly at her and motioned to a seat. "Hello." she smiled. "I'm Colette, but you could call me Cole if you'd like to." she shrugged. Some people had a thing for calling her Cole, and she didn't mind all that much. It had a rather nice ring to it. "That's so cool! If you don't mind my asking, what year are you in?" she asked softly. She then held out her hand and grinned. "It's nice to meet you Wynter." And then her eyes followed the meow sound and she saw the cat. She beamed. "Aw! It's so cute!" she held up Bloo. "And this is Bloo." she smiled and stoked both kittens.
Colette giggled as she watched the boy outside. "Care to join us?" she asked. Aw! He had a turtle! How adorable! she thought as she subconsciously pet Bloo, her kitten.

Wynter listened to her as she spoke, moving to sit down across the compartment, she pushed her trunk off to the side for the moment being. "My parents moved to India when I was five, my sister was a few years out of school by then and I've lived with her since." she paused, lightly dropping her shoulder bag to the seat and pulling Crash! out of the bag onto her lap. "My parents didn't want me to lose my Greek knowledge by moving to India." She explained.

She fell silent for a moment thinking about how to respond to the question. Nick was seen with another woman...that wasn't her place to share with someone she had just met, though she knew that Phyre meant well. "Well, it's been tough. It's been going on for a couple years now. I've taken care of the two kids for a while now while they've been trying to settle things." She told her, that should give her enough to go by, and if she wanted to know more, she could ask questions.

She knew what she was talking about. She would be able to answer better, probably...

OOC: Btw, I'm not reading all those posts so I'm just going to wing it.
"Oh, er." Well, sweet. More people to meet. Or more people to put on his list of people to prank, depending on how he liked them. He grabbed his trunk off the floor and somehow managed to hold Pebbles AND pick up the cauldron cake he had dropped. He dragged everything into the compartment in the most obnoxiously loud and clumsy manner ever.
Putting down his cauldron cake and turtle on an empty spot he put away his luggage and sat down. This was the moment in which he actually looked around at the people in the compartment and noticed they were all of the female gender. And though Jimbo is normally intimidated by girls, lately it seemed like it didn't matter. He was making more female friends than guy friends. Actually, how many guys had he actually talked to?
Putting that aside, Jimbo was oddly friendly for a Slytherin, but that's just the way that he was. Honestly, he acted more like a Gryffindor than anything but the sorting hat put him into Slytherin so there had to be a reason for that, right? He grinned at them all and introduced himself. "Hullo, I'm Jimbo Farley."
Geesh, ever since Monty started that, that's all he's been introducing himself as. Well, it didn't matter. He liked it. He motioned to the turtle crawling around on the seat next to him. "This is Pebbles." He grabbed the cauldron cake from beside Pebbles and started to eat it. He would offer them all candy, but he needed to see how he liked them.
"Hey! You! Come back here!" The words came from the side of his mouth, wand held between his teeth, while he dragged his trunk down the aisleway. With his old silk top hat threatening to fall over his eyes, he soldiered forward. "Don't be so difficult!"
Who was he yelling at? A little white rabbit, hopping just out of the boys reach. What else?
Jen smiled slightly again, appreciating Adelyn's attempt to make her feel better. "What's your mum teach?"
Seeing Jen's small smile appear again made Adelyn breathe a sigh of relief again, she hadn't scared her off completely. Yet. She also more than appreciated how Jen didn't ask any questions about her father. She smiled again, "She teaches English and Literature; so, pretty much writing, you know, poetry and stuff."

"It's a muggle thing, I guess." Adelyn couldn't help but laugh. She had to admit, it probably sounded really confusing and stupid to anyone who wasn't a muggle, or raised by muggles.

Ethan and his brother, Alaster, made their way down the corridor of the train. He was glad that his older brother was going to be attending Hogwarts along side him.
Alaster proudly walked with his brother. They were both Slytherins and this was just proof that they were brothers. Both he and Ethan had the same father, but different mother. To say that their mothers didn't get along would be an understatement, but that didn't matter to them because their bond as brothers was stronger then their mothers' hate.
"Hey, let's go in that one." Alaster pointed at the empty compartment and then entered.
Sophie spotted her cousin peaking inside of some of the compartments, probably looking for her. "Looking for someone." Sophie giggled.
Athena turned around and smiled. "Not anymore." She giggled. They both went into an empty compartment. "I can't wait until we get to Hogwarts." Athena gushed.

"Hey I'll be right back, Iris seems to have gotten lost." Sophie looked around for her kitten Iris -her parents had given her as a present- but wasn't around. "Where could she have gone to?" She whispered to herselt and exited the compartment.
