"Yeah,me too.I mean,he seemed like a nice boy when I first met him,but...I don't know now."-Sophie sighed a little.

Kevin wandered back up to his compartment at the front of the train and it was pretty quiet at the moment and he was glad to have to the peace and quiet but he hoped that he would make some more friends soon

Jersey walked into an empty compartment. She was very nervous as this was her first time to Hogwarts and she hasnt met anyone in her year yet. She desided to pull out a book and read.

"he always seemed a little off to me" she said coursiously

Evan was absolutely fed up with everything right now. He didn't think he'd hoped for much, but the world looked to hate him now, and he truly felt like everyone he talked would leave. First Lyra, then Fallon, his parents, and lastly Marie. And he wasn't even counting his dreams slipping away from his hands! Completely miserable, he wandered in the train, not really paying attention in the compartments, because he was afraid he'd see Marie and perfect guy. He saw someone sitting alone in the corner of his eye. It couldn't be them, for they didn't look like having the intention to seperate any soon. Glancing inside, the guy looked familiar somewhere... Wasn't he...

"Kevin?" Yes, he remembered him! He was a Slytherin, one year older than him. Wow. Come to think about it, Evan didn't remember seeing him anywhere last year. He must have left the school too. Shocking, Evan thought. It was like a trend that everyone left.

Sophie noticed new girl in the compartment.She seemed a little shy.
"Hello,I am Sophie"-she introduced herself.
"I'm on first year at Hogwarts.Are you first year too?"-Sophie asked,trying to make girl comfortamble.

Sophie nodded.
"Yes.I hope that he'll just stay away from us..."

"It most certainly is a good thing" Trixie giggled. Yep she loved appearing to be the perfect student, 'friendly' and 'hardworking' would be two words that the proffessors used to use to describe her but she really wasn't all of the time.

Trixie grinned. "Thank you. Charms was never my favourite class. Especially with the proffessor we used to have" she giggled slightly and then looked out the window. The hogwarts journey seemed to be a lot longer than their Beauxbatons one used to be. SHe had to travel rom Wales, down to london to board the train and she kinda thought it a waste of time. "Well by the looks of it, i've already made one" she smiled hinting at Ella. Well they seemed to have similar personalities but Trixie knew that Ella didn't think very highly of her. Probably jealous that she was so ppular. She flicked her blonde locks back in the typical manner as if to prove Ella's point. She raised an eyebrow. "Didn't think you would be capable Eleanor" she said getting back at Ella's remark of Trixie having followers rather than friends.

Trixie grin turned straight into a frown as Ella made fun of her cousin name. "It's Leminerva actually" she said cooly her eyes narrowing. "Her parents chose it. But Lemon's not so keen so she uses her nickname. Shame since her parents were murdered" she said her arms folded across her chest. She always used the story of trixie's Aunt and Uncles murder when people remarked on lemon's name.

"I guess we will" she said with an evil smirk.

Jersey looked up and smiled at seeing a fellow first year. "Hi Sophie, My name is Jersey. I am a first year too. I'm in Griffindor."

Kevin saw a familiar looking face pearing into his compartment and he remembered him as well and got up and said "Hey Evan why don't you come and join me" Kevin would be glad of the company

"Nice to meet you,Jersey!I'm in Ravenclaw."-Sophie smiled at the girl.

she smiled at the new girl then turned to Sophie "yeah me too he was really strange"
lily-anne smiled at jersey "hi i'm Lily-anne, ravenclaw" she said with a smile

Finally. Finally someone who wanted to talk to him, and who just didn't do this in a sarcastic way. Evan didn't know if he would bear someone, but this was Kevin. They didn't know each other well, but he was a decent guy. And the fact that being alone didn't help him at all as he was unoccupied and could only think about the recent events, he got in, and sat down across him. With a grateful smile, he asked "How have you been?"

After talking to Jimbo, Iris had walked the length of the entire train looking for a compartment with a friend in. Or rather, a compartment with a certain two friends in it.

Eventually, Iris found Aaron sat on his own in a compartment. She opened the door and smiled at him curiously. This was probably the first trainride where she'd not found him reading a Quidditch magazine. As she entered the compartment, it didn't even occur to her that Fallon wasn't sat there, too. "Heeeey you. How was your summer?" She asked him as she put her trunk on the shelving.

Iris sat down next to Aaron, She looked at the empty seating opposite them, "Where's Fallon, Aaron?" Iris asked him, Surely she'd already be here on the train with Aaron, seeing as though she'd spent the summer with Aaron.

"You know, you had me fooled at Beauxbatons." Ella said with a half-smile. Trixie was not the sort of person that Ella would usually even say hi to. But they seemed to be more alike then she had previously thought. "I mean I thought you were a bimbo air head."

"Charms is one of my favourite subjects. I'm not sure why. But Muggle Studies or History of Magic..." Ick, she sensed failure in those areas. "...I don't think i'll do so well." She didn't even know what a toaster was until a few days ago. Was she living in some sort of cave? Ella chuckled at Trixie's comment about a new follower, then glanced at the girl that had joined them. She was being weirdly quiet, who looked like a first year. Eww. Just when Ella thought they had a positive moment together, Trixie went and threw it out of the window. "I told you not to call me that. And there are a lot of things you don't know about me. Seeing as you were always too busy with your self-image and ego." Ella snapped.

After Ella's little confrontation, she was finding it hard to stop the giggles as Trixie said 'Leminerva'. What an unfortunate name. "Why were they murdered?" Ella asked. Was she trying to make her feel bad after making fun of her cousins name? Wasn't going to work.

"Yes.I like strange people but he is really...creepy guy."

Kevin smiled and said "I have been good thanks Evan how have you been?

Like crap for the last 6-7 months "I've been alright too, thanks." Of course Evan'd lie. It felt awkward to talk to someone without any tension. He'd had quite tension between everyone he'd contacted with, lately. And hs brain was totally froze now, because he didn't know what to say that'd sound normal.

Trixie laughed. "Oh well thanks" she said sarcastically after Ella said that she thought Trixie was a bimbo airhead. "I know more about DADA then anyone does. Mother used to teach it for a short time before we left for France. And father plays for the Falmouth Falcons" she declared proudly.

"I hate anything to do with Muggle Studies" she shuddered. She still didn't know the correct function of the muggle invention, a toaster. I mean what exactly is the point? "But I don't think I will fail anything" she said boastingy. She was sure that Ella wouldn't eaither but she was still getting her back for her remarks. "Oops sorry. I forgot" she said lying and biting her lip. "Or maybe it was because I actually had friends and a social life" she said battering her eyelids so it didn't sound like an insult but it still was.

"There are still Dark Forces out there in America" she said turning completely serious. "I don't like to talk about it" she said a small tear filling up her eye as she gulped. Every word she was saying was true but many didn't believe her first time. Probably because she was a good actress so that she could get what she wanted but she wasn't faking it this time.

"Well, sorry.. but you and your followers - I mean friends seemed like the type." Ella shrugged. "You know more about it than anyone? Are you a professional or something?" She said sarcastically. To be fair, Ella was pretty good at DADA too. She was good at everything really. But you don't see HER chatting about how amazing she is. Sheesh.

"Oh, sorry miss perfect." Ella said coldly. Was this some huge boasting session for her? She hoped that Trixie would fail something this term. Hehe. She frowned and was even slightly taken back at her next comment. "Excuse me? What in Merlin's beard do you mean by that?" Psh, Ella did have a social life. Kind of. "I had real friends. Not those stupid people who followed you around like ducks." Ducks? Stupid comment.

Ella watched as Trixie had suddenly got all serious about the conversation. "If you don't like to talk about it then why mention it in the first place?" Ella knew why. Attention seeking. Trixie was annoying Ella beyond belief right now.

Kevin smiled and said "At least your okay Evan"

Melissa wandered into the front of the train, she was going to go back to the back with Torin, Simon and Theo but she just wanted to see if anyone she knew was still here. She saw in a compartment was Lily-anne, Maddie, Sophie and another girl whom she didn't knew. "Hey guys, may I join you?" she asked them after she opened the door.

Ah. Evan felt pretty guilty about lying now. It was hard to predict what he would feel these days, along with misery and unhappiness. "Yeah..." he muttered looking outside the window. Were they any close yet? He wondered if he could skip Opening Feast and go to his bed directly.

"Will you be taking OWLs this year?" he asked out of blue just to make conversation. Or it would be boring, and he didn't want Kevin to leave. He was keeping his mind busy.

"Hello Lissa!"-Sophie hugged her.
"This is Jersey"-she introduced the girl"She is in Gryffindor,and first year too.
So,how are you?"

Patrick walked down the Hogwarts Express, taking in all the chatting students and squeezing his way through little crowds in the corridor of the train. He was actually going to Hogwarts. He honestly was having a hard time believing this wasn't a joke or something. He was almost to the front when a crowd of girls turned and giggled. Patrick smiled, and nervously opened a compartment, and shut it before they could try anything.

When he turned around he recognized two familiar faces. Two familiar ladies to be more exact. "Hello Ella and Trixie," he smiled, standing against the door. "Mind if I join you?" he asked, trying to keep the trunk he dragged upright.

Kevin nodded and said "Yeah i will be taking my OWLs this year and i am not looking forward to sitting them"
