For some strange reason, Sarah was in a good mood.And now she was bouncing her way down through the grounds and into the Sanctuary, her bag clunking against her side all the way.

A seat!

As she found one to sit in, Sarah grinned and gave a small wave to the lady half of the Lawsonators. "Good day, Professor Lawson!" Then the little animal caught her eye. "THAT," she nodded, pointing at it and putting on a pouty face, "is sooo adorable, ma'am." Obviously they were going to find out what it was, so Sarah didn't bother asking, she just shifted in her seat and waited for the lesson to begin.

As Lysandra headed to the castle grounds for Care for Magical Creatures, she felt extatic. She couldn't wait to see some creatures. She got to the Magical Creatures Sanctuary and saw Professor Lawson sitting by the door with a small, fuzzy creature in her lap. Good day, Professor she said waving. She got closer and saw the creature more clearly. Is that what we're going to be learning about today? she asked, pointing to the ball of fuzz.

Jackie to the grounds for Care of Magical Creatures. She walks over and says "Good Morning Professor Lawson."

Mina smiled to herself as she made her way toward the Magical Creatures Sanctuary. Oddly enough, she was in a father pleasant mood and even being in this place couldn't ruin it, even if it did remind her of things and people she didn't want to think about.

Seeing Professor Lawson, she smiled and made her way toward the front. "Good Day, Professor Lawson," she greeted politely on her way by.

Why there were always so many Slytherins in the classes...Hey! Gryffindor fellows! come to class! we need points!..

Kate took a seat near a window and waited for the lesson to start..

Hearing the sweet voice of the lesson's first arrival, Professor Lawson smiled brightly and gave a simple, "Hello," in response.
After quickly reading the note, Professor Lawson folding in neatly and stuck it inside of her robe pocket. "I'm very happy to meet you, Miss Malfoy," she said. "Don't worry about keeping up. We're going to be going over pretty basic information today. You shouldn't have any problems whatsoever."
"And good day to you..." she muttered, cutting of the rest of her sentence. It was a new term. That meant learning new names and faces.
ALL the new names, she thought.

"Hello," she said. "It's... Ella, right?" At least she hoped she so.
"Well hello!" she said. "And welcome!"
OH THANK MERLIN! Someone she not only recognized... but someone she knew well.

"Great to see you, Carter," she said. "I'm glad you could join us."
And her luck didn't stop there. She wasn't the least bit surprised by the hug that followed either. She was starting to consider the hugs as "Arya Hellos".

"Hey Arya! I'm doing great. How 'bout yourself?"
"Good afternoon," she replied with a warm grin.
"Hi Evelyn. Nice day for it, huh?" She had no idea where the small talk was coming from but she shrugged it off and continued to pet the kitty.
"Well hello, Brody. Did you have a nice summer?" she asked.
"Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures," she said.
Iliana smiled and hugged the girl back. "I know, right? I was just saying the same thing to Evelyn," she said. "It's good to see you, Ivory."
"Hello, Kevin. I'm good, thanks. How are you?"
"Good afternoon," she said.
"Helloooo," she said cheerfully, petting the kitty again.
Oh yes! She loved an eager student. She just couldn't help but smile at the way the Ravenclaw sprang for a chair in the front row. "Hey, Ellie. Glad you could make it." A girl of her word indeed.
"Hey, Destiny," she said, cocking her head to the side. What WAS she doing standing sooo close to Marie? "Are you feeling okay this afternoon?" she asked.

Maybe she'd find a way to sneak in a little forehead check before class got started.
"Hello," she said with a nod.
"Good morning, Oliver," she said back, noticing the strange look he was giving her. What?? she thought. Had Ava spit-up in her hair again?
Iliana looked up at the Slytherin and waved. He looked crazy familiar but... not. She couldn't place her finger on just what it was but she felt like she should know him.
"Good afternoon," she said. "This tiny thing is a baby kneazle," she answered, running her fingers over it's head.
"Hello Miranda," she said. "I never got to thank you properly for..." She wouldn't be callous and bring it up in front of everyone. "... for everything you did for us. Thank you."
"Good afternoon."
"Good day, dear," she said with a smile.
"Well thank you, Sarah. *I* agree," she said, shooting her a wink.
Iliana nodded her head and said, "Mhmm. We'll be learning many things today."
"Hello, Mina. Lovely to see you again."

Kevin smiled at Professor Lawson and said "I am good thanks Professor"

Alex gaped hearing the Professor introduce a baby kneazle. Alex admitted that the kitten Kneazle was very cute and so cuddly. This was already shaping to be an interesting lesson.

Trixie forced out a weak smile despite the fact that she was surrounded by her friends, well Oliver, Aiden and Maddie anyway. Oh and Ella if you considered her a 'friend' or what she really was 'family'. "It's very nice to meet you too professor" she sighed. Meh keep up. She was more worried about actually working out whether she'd enjoyed this class or not, from whatever school she was at before Hogwarts. "Thanks" she murmered. Ergh but that meant she couldn't answer any questions unless.... She bought out a brand new CoMC study guide type thing. This was what she had been doing just after she'd got out of the hospital wing. Cramming her brain full of knowledge, which didn't exactly help with the whole memory thing. And surely the professor would have nothing against her using it. Especially since she didn't now many answers.

Aw! A Kneazle! And not just a kneazle... a BABY! kneazle!!

Looking back over to the Professor, Evelyn stared confusedly for a moment before smiling and nodding. "Oh, yes. It is." she said sweetly before going over to sit next to where Destiny and...Marie, were standing. Eh, well somewhat near them. They were STILL tied together?

Setting down her bag, she let a long breathe before holding in a tiny Squee! OMG KNEAZLE! Yes, she finally noticed the so adorable thing in the Professor's lap. AW! Well, it was terribly cute. Except her little Poof was so much cuter. Sure, the little kitten was only HALF kneazle, but Poof was still the cutest!

Awwhh there was a kneazle!! It was even a baby kneazle, which made it all the more better.

Miranda kept smiling at the Professor, but when she started to mention the events of last term, her smile faded a little to be replaced with a blush of her cheeks. Oh...ahaaaa, heheeeee... Akwarrrd smile.
But, she dropped her sillyness, and just looked at Lawson. "Ofcourse...anytime." Don't mention it. Like.


Really. It was the least she could do for getting tangled up in that mess. "Hope...everything went well."

Well duuuuuuuuh. She was here about to teach them. Wasn't she? Dumbutt.

Ainra ran down to the care of magical creatures grounds, wondering what they would be learning. When she got there and looked at the ground she noticed... something. She wasn't sure what it was, but she knew it was cute and it looked quite tiny. "Hey baby." She cooed to it, and then turn to the Professor. "Hello Professor." She said, flashing a small smile.

Simon ran down to the care of magical creatures grounds, he was hoping that he would learn something fun. "Good day Professor, how are you?" He hoped that the Professor was well.

Deciding that it was time to get started, Professor Lawson cradled the kneazle in her arms and stood up from her wooden stool.

"Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures," she began. "I have something very special planned for you this year. During the summer we had a record number of baby creatures born here at Hogwarts. A lot of you have been able to care for your own baby creatures in the past." She stroked the kneazles fur gently as she spoke, eying a few of the students that still kept their creatures in the Sanctuary.

"Because I feel like you've all truly benefited from that experience, I have decided once again to open up the Magical Creatures Nursery."

"Before we can get started caring for these animals, we are going to have to learn a bit more about them. Their needs... their environment... their temperament. What type of interaction will be the most beneficial to their growth and well being?" Iliana paused, allowing them to take in what she'd just said.

"Now, just so you know, the kneazle is not the only creature will be discussing today. But since I already had Samara out... I figured she'd be a good place as any to start," she said. "I want each of you to raise your hand and give me one fact, or describe one characteristic of the kneazle."

Ellie raised her hand uber high!

"They can tell if someone's acting suspicious or is just a suspicious person in general."

Trixie raised her hand. Now luckily this was one question that she could answer for she had a Kneazle kitten, fatty as he was nicknamed, herself. "Please professor. Kneazles can be quite aggressive towards certain people which is why they have been given XXX classification by the Ministry of Magic if they are not going to be used for inbreeding with members of other species" she said warily with a smile. Had she got that right? Or did she literally just make that up. Failure of a memory. She turned quickly to Oliver. Could he clarify that she was correct or had she just made a complete fool of herself? Well truth be told it wasn't her fault.

Miranda listened and nodded to what the Professor was saying. Buuuuuuuut...she didn't think she would be able to take care of a leetle animal. Time was not something she had much of, thanks to Quidditch and generally avoiding stuff. And well, the creatures needed more love than that.

BUT, Kneazles, yes.
Miranda raised her hand. "Miss, they are rated with three exes... XXX...by the Ministry of Magic. Meaning that a knowledgeable wizard should be able to take care of the leetle beastie without problems." Yup yup.

Selena could barely stop herself from awing when she saw the cutest kneazle ever. She smiled. So cute!!

They had a Magical Creatures Nursery in the past? WHEN!? Whatever though, Evelyn would definitely be visiting it in the future. Maybe...after class or something. Or, even sooner. *shifty look*

But, back to the cute little kneazle with the cute name. "If they like the person enough, they can be the most wonderful and excellent pets." she said after raising her hand. Which it seemed, Samara or whatever the cute little kneazle's name was liked Professor Lawson...Morgan...enough.

Simon put up his hand. "Kneazles can interbreed with normal cats." Simon said suddenly he wasn't very sure if this was a right answer but decided that he would say it anyway.

D'aww! The kneazle was so super duper cuute! Keeley smiled at the little thing, flicking a lock of shockingly pink hair behind her ear. And a nursery? Double cute!! Eep, the inner girl in her was poking out it's head. A nursery of little baby magical thingies would be awesome!

Hmm... now to give a fun fact on kneazles. She really didn't know much about them, but she had been studying enough to list off some stuff. Raising her hand, the Ravenclaw answered, "They have a good sense of navigation, and can usually guide it's owner home when lost." Blink. Blink.

Anya raised her hand. "Kneazles are very independent, and even more intelligent. They can also help their owner find their way home, no matter where home is." she said.

Nymphy raised his hand. "Well.....kneazles are cat like creatures that are good at picking up suspicous individuals. I beleive that this instinct is ingrained from birth, so this infant will be able to walk amoung us and find suspicous characters......" he said, politly.
