Ever since the entire thing with the flooding of the school, he really wasn't a fan of water being... in classrooms. At least in large quantities. So he'd elected to stay slightly back, watching the others in his house as they went after the crate, his arms folded gently across his chest.
He didn't miss the little Slytherin having a spat with Evelyn though. Casting a glance at her as he stepped closer to where those in his house worked, he cleared his throat.
"You're awfully unpleasant sometimes, you know. There's no need to be so loud," he murmured, just loud enough for her to hear him. His eyes never left their housemates working in the water, however, and without another word he took another step closer and raised his own voice slightly so they'd be able to hear him. "Need any more help in there?"
