Etoile noticed a girl her age looking around for a partner as well. She walked to where she sat alone.
"Hey, wanna team up? I'm Etoile, Etoile Mouchard."

Partner up with someone you don't know? Oliver made a face – so no Shoe!Girl then. Damn.

He looked around expectantly at the other students to see that the swot of a Head Girl/Ravenclaw was already taken - by none other than Roxxy! Heh. The crafty little Lion. Celandine would have made a good partner. Nevermind. Now.. who else looked smart?

His gaze came to rest on a younger girl from his own house – one that he saw around the school all the time, but had never had any reason to speak to. She was writing stuff down - maybe she was smart. He shrugged, stood, and wandered over. “Hey...” Little Miss No Name. “... need a partner?” Grin.

She jumped slightly, but turned to face Etoile. With a shy smile, she nodded. "Yes...I would like to team up with you. My name is Victoria Rogers."

Etoile smiled. Good! She had a partner. "So, When were you born Victoria?"

"January 12, 2060. What about yours?" Victoria asked Etoile, having her quill and parchment ready to write down her birthdate. "And my middle name is Ann."

"My birthday is August the 7th, 2059." She scribbled down Victoria's birthday and name.

'OK, sure' said Maddie, smiling 'OK, my full name is Madeline Amelie Force, and my birthday is the 15 January 2060. What's yours?'

"Theres a spelling mistake there." Cela pointed out quietly. "My middle name is Elodie, E-L-O-D-I-E." She looked over things. "But it doesn't look as if it effected the calculations."

Roxxy was good at this. Good thing too, because Cela often made teeny little icky mistakes herself. She double checked her calculations again.

"We get to interpret them now."

She nodded and wrote down the birthdate. "So...what is your middle name?"

We would still need a partner! :D

Etoile dipped her quill into her ink pot and started scribbling.

Arya listened to the four vollunteers tell about thier number thingys, whatever. She may have been daydreaming through two of those mini speaches. A mistake she instantly regreted when hearing that they had to calculate someone else's numbers. Sighing at the fact she couldn't use anyone she knew, Arya looked around for someone who didn't have a partner and spoted an older Slytherin. Older was better, hopefully it meant she knew how to do this nonsense. Walking over to the girl she smiled softly. "I'll be your partner."

"Ok. My full name is Emma Astoria Malfoy and my birthday is the 11th of July 2060" replied Emma smiling she started working on Maddie's life calculation:

Surely, there must be someone here whom she did not know, and who had yet to partner up. Cue tiiiny frown.

Nancy beamed at the approaching younger Hufflepuff girl excitedly. Yes, now they could finally start. "Awesome! I'm Nancy. Nancy Hudonson." And she decided the whole Prefect thing was not important right now as she wouldn't need it for the calculations...besides the badge was probably quite obvious too. Hehe.

Now, what else? Right...her birth date. "I was born on December 2nd, 2053." Whoa, she was soooo old already. "You better right that down, by the way." Nancy inclined her head towards the girl's parchment before shifting her parchment slightly so she could write on it properly. "What's yours?" Cue expectant grin. This was sooo awesome!

This put a confused look on the REAL Destiny's face. How in the world was she going to do that? Shaking her head at the question Evelyn asked, she shooed her off with her hand to the front of the classroom. No. There was NO way she wanted Evelyn to tell her middle name. That was mean of her friend to even think that. They all can't be blessed with a normal middle name like Rose, pffft.

Ohhh. Evelyn was not going to be Destiny. She was going to be some sort of number..or something. Tilting her head to the side, she pictured Evelyn up there in front of the class looking like a ginormous number six. Why that number? Because it was funny looking.

Not really understanding ANYTHING that was being said, she clapped along anyway when the Professor asked for a round of applause. That was something Destiny knew how to do. Victoria smiled and handed Etoile her parchment. "Sorry it took a little longer than we hoped. Math isn't exactly my strong point."

Cedric retrieved his seat and carefully listened to the professor's further instructions. He was really having fun at the class. It was just going so smooth and all. Though, well, he had to admit that it was like he was a first year again but what could he expect? they were studying the 'basics' after all.

And now they needed to be partnered again and he didn't like partnering with people and the pain would be doubled since they should be partnered with people they didn't know. Shrug.

Looking around, he scrutinized each of his classmates' faces in order to know which one he didn't know because really, he knew almost every people around or at least, by their first names and looks. And then there was the Slytherin girl who he usually see with Evelyn. Assuming that she didn't have a partner to torture yet, he quickly walked toward her with a crooked smile.

"Hey. You. I don't know you. Can we be partners?" Truth be told he didn't know the girl's complete name but he did know the girl's first name... Destiny. And it sounds feisty and Destiny and feisty even rhymes together! Hehe.

"Oh, No problem." Etoile never had problems with numbers, that's why she thought arithmancy was so exiting. Etoile looked down on her Parchment. "Are we supposed to read what it says about us, or are we supposed to wait until every one else finishes?"
