"Well, I would love a pair of hoop earrings!" she told Thomas, she was excited about becoming thirteen.

"Well hoop earrings it is," he said to her hoping that he would remember that. "My birthday is in two month but I don't know what I want. Got any suggestions?" he asked thinking what does he need.

"I can't wait for my birthday! Do you want any books?" she asked him as she started to walk to the door.

Barry was actually quite happy as he came up the stairs. He was pleased at first about how good he seemed at this boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. In the past 10 minutes he hadn`t been too bad. Secondly they had just passed the kitchens. He loved the kitchens. So many smells. Buns, pastrys, puddings and pies. That was so good. He stopped when he reached the top and waited for Georgie to catch up.

Dylan stumbled into the Entrance Hall. He was half naked, his shirt wrapped around the centre of his chest, stained red with blood. He was a bit dazed, the bump on his head quite prevelant. That is if you could take your eyes off his chest.

He was struggling to walk. But he didn't know what was going on. He was going to make it to his bed, even if it killed him.

It was still pretty darn late. Like, about an hour after midnight late, and Jake... hurt.

The boy stole through the dark Entrance Hall, patches of blood on his shirt, he himself walking stiffly, since his back was in PAIN. Coughing a tiny bit, the boy darted through to the Kitchen level corridor.

He'd have to visit the Healer soon.

Georgiana ran up the stairs after Barry, shivering slightly, she'd seen that darn rat again! Ew! Catching up to him she smiled. "Good call on leaving the dungeons. The rats were getting super freaky!" she shivered again and glared from where they came from. Dumb rats.

Fia was walking...better yet...tip-toeing towards the Hufflepuff common room after being in the owlery a little later than she planned. Those silly birds wouldn't take the letter from Miles but they surely took it from her. She had charm...confidence...

....

She paused as she nearly ran into someone in the hallway. Her hands braced the boy as she had to step aside before knocking him over, her fingers grasped nothing but skin. That brought her mind to attention as her eyes looked upon...GASP!

"Dy-lan?" She looked him up and down. The boy was obviously hurt to the point he looked as if he were about to pass out. "Dylan!"

Dylan looked up, as he heard someone call his name, "Yeah." He smiled weakly as he spotted Fia. "Oh hey there Fia." He straightened himself up. "How are you doing?" he winced, as his chest hurt a little. "Just out for a nighttime stroll?""

Barry frowned. He was having mood swings. Yeah he was eighteen and he it was suppossed to be over but he had seen a hufflepuff and gryfindor just walk out of the hall arm in arm. Just like Rex and Kay. It`d been atleast a week since he had talked to them.

Barry gave Georgie a little forced smile " Yeah." was all he could manage to say. He needed to talk to someone. He looked to the great hall away from Georgie. Why was he so selfish! He should be listning to Georgie not the other way around

"Nighttime stroll? You could say that," Fia spoke rather sharply as Dylan didn't seem to notice that he was hurt in any way. "And now, I'm going to stay with you and we are going to the hospital wing. Some has completely distroyed your clothing and left you to fend for yourself.

"What happened, Dylan?". She took his arm gently and began to lead him towards the hospital wing.

Dylan shook his head, "I am fine. Just need some rest." He wasn't going to be weak in her eyes. Even if his chest was on fire. He eyed her looking at his chest. Any other time he would've been flattered, this time he felt slightly exposed. He sighed and shrugged, "No idea. Don't know what happened at all. Do you?"

"Dylan," Fia's eyes widened in shock as he didn't seem to worry about being hurt at all. "Please. Just walk with me. Let's just have the nurse check to make sure everything is okay. Please? For me?"

She was not one to beg but he was being hard-headed and her adrinaline was rushing throughout her body. The blood stains on his shirt was keythat he was not okay and if she had too, she would place a spell on him and float him to he hospital wing.

He could barely stand, how could she want him to walk with her? "I just need some sleep Fia. That is all. I'll be fine in the morning." He sighed. She was begging him. No that shouldn't be happening. "Sleep. Not healer."

He held he shirt. He could feel it coming undone behind him. Pain coursed through his body, as he applied pressure to the front. What would happen if he lifted his hand up? He didn't want to try.

"If you relax and allow me to transport you there, then you don't needto worry about walking.". That was it. "Please! Just make me happy this one time.". Think of something cleaver. "At least you could do this just once for me since I still have yet to enjoy a nice scoop of ice cream."

"Sleep, Fia," he continued to insist. "Please just let me sleep. I will walk with you to the steps that seperate our floors." He just wanted to sleep. He was probably dreaming. One of those dreams when you wake up you can't remember anything that actually happened in your dream. "You had the ice cream with Miles. You didn't want to have it with me."

That was it! She was done with being nice. Obviously there was something wrong with Dylan or the boy wouldn't be wincing everytime he moved just about. And before he said another word or turned her down again...

"Prtrificus totalus," fia spoke rather fast as she aimed her wand towards Dylan. She was cool. Confident. And full of hot steam at te moment. People were eventually listen to her one day.

...or she was just going to put them under a spell.

Dylan sighed, as he leant against the wall, it was his only form of support. And it was nice. Cool against his naked torso. He shook his head, "That is cheating Fia." Then he clattered to the floor with a solid flop. He hated this spell. It was mean. He didn't want to go to the hospital wing for a reason.

He had only been recently. Plus his chest wound might heal over night. It would be best to have it looked at in the morning. Surely.

Win a smirky grin, Fia looked towards the stiffened body of Dylan that was now on the floor. "Yes I did cheat," she mocked him in a playful way. "And I got what I wanted. You will thank me later.". She used her wand to levitate his body up and began walking him rather swiftly towards the hospital wing.

If Dylan could move at all he would probably be ranting at her. But instead he was frozen solid. So all he could do was curse in his head. Argh women. So forceful. Maybe he could escape from the hospital wing. Yes, run. Run far away. Back to the common room.

Georgie tilted her head a little to the side, something seemed to be wrong. She touched a hand to his arm, "Barry? Are you okay?" she asked concernedly, following his look to the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. Had that upset him for some reason? Did he know the girl or something? She was so confused at this point in time.

Barry was not going to cry or anything of the sort. He was way stronger then that. So when he turned to face Georgie he was not crying or sad. He wasn`t happy either. He looked neutral. Blank almost. "Hey, can we sit?" He asked glancing towards the steps. "I`m sorry" he added. He really was. What was wrong with him ? He was so selfish.

Georgie looked toward the steps and nodded her head, "Course we can." she replied walking the short distance and sitting first, before looking back up at him. Hearing him apologize she shook her head slightly, "No no no, really, it's okay." He'd do the same for her. She could do this much for him.

Barry gave a weak smile and took a seat next to Georgie. He stared at the floor and thought about what to say. "Georgie, you know that their are people out there. They have immense family pride. Some of the weasleys are like that" he said not wanting to mension Rex just yet.

"Something happened, Georgie. They think that I never stand up. That I never stand up for the weasleys. " He said he was sad, extremly sad. He hadn`t been like this since third year. He put his head in his lap. He wanted to be friends with Rex. But what if it wasn`t meant to be?

Georgiana frowned, and reached over to take one of his hands in hers, she knew about people with family pride, her brother was one of those types of people, she hadn't particularly been someone with STRONG pride, but she was always willing to stand up for her family.

Georgie gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, "Barry, don't listen to those people then. I know you do stand up for your family, because I know you love them. But sometimes, things happen that make it look like you weren't standing up for them, when you were. But trying to be sensitive to both parties." she stopped for a moment, was she even making sense here? She hoped so, she hated seeing him like this.

She reached out with her other hand and lifted his head so he had to look at her, "I'm sure it was all a misunderstanding, and you just have to try to explain to them. And if they don't understand...well, then there's not much else you can do." of course that wasn't overly helpful but she was trying here.
