With all the chocolates and snacks in tole, Allison looked for Anastasia to get a compartment. Her eyes were already set on one, but before she saved it she had to make sure someone would accompany her. She knew for a fact that Arya and Emily would catch up. However she wondered if the new girl they met Sarah would show up as well. She was a fourth year, older than all of her friends, Allison was sure she had millions of friends. With a tinge of jealousy Allison kept walking into the train. It didn't matter, nothing would ruin Allison's fun.
This was a day Allison would remember for the rest of her life.

No, stay true old boy, this is a true test of character. Will your personality come out on top? Will you be remembered primarily out of this lot? My god man... how will you customize your uniform??" It was his habit to snap in and out of these extended reveries without much warning. Sometimes only a good prod to the arm would bring him back to earth, but whether that was worth the following complaint of 'bruises' and a speech on his 'Rococo-like fragility' was another matter altogether

With a small, forced smile, Raiden undid the little... circle thinger and put it around her wrist, fumbling a bit to get it redone. Bracelets and jewelry and stuff weren't exactly a speciality of his. After a bit of staring and general failed attempts, he finally got the little bar through the circle and immediately let go of the butterfly bracelet as if touching it were going to brand his hands with butterflies or something.
"My... father. Said you'd like it," he tried again, his face red as he kinda... let his eyes drift to the window again awkwardly. "You really like it?"
The old man... was so going to hear about this. Loudly. In capital letters. And possibly by Howler, if Raiden could find one. | |

She ordinarily would not pay attention to anyone else coming in now that she had found someone to chatter with about her dress, but now, she found something she liked even more!
Lo and behold. It was MILKSHAKE at the doorway!
No holding back now.
"I would!" Georgie squealed, and almost pounced on the milkshake the boy was holding out. "Mmm," she gurgled, as she beheld the confection.
This was a new record. Three new people AND a milkshake in a matter of minutes. She was starting to like Hogwarts.

Kellen threw his hands up in the air; honestly now! But this was Chaucer, the boy he'd stolen soothers from and carried around the house when they went through their knights and destriers phase; Chaucer wasn't Kate, and therefore...
He slapped the back of his hand to his forehead, adopting an injured tone, "Oh, my dearest cousin, I've invaded your private space with my careless legs. Here," he shifted his back towards the window and dug his knees into Chaucer's ribs, "this is better, yes?"

In fact, she stood up abruptly at the girl's exclamation and squealed. "You DO?! Omigosh. I know right! I love your taste. I do. Mhmmm." Well, so much for containing the excitement. "I'm Georgie!"
She wasn't even going to be subtle around someone who LIKED HER DRESS. Now, she was sure everyone liked her dress - who wouldn't?! - but it was just nice to hear it being said out loud and in such an enthusiastic manner. Hooray!
"You can come in if you like and we ---!"
Georgie froze.
Sniff. Sniff sniff.
She ordinarily would not pay attention to anyone else coming in now that she had found someone to chatter with about her dress, but now, she found something she liked even more!
Lo and behold. It was MILKSHAKE at the doorway!
No holding back now.
"I would!" Georgie squealed, and almost pounced on the milkshake the boy was holding out. "Mmm," she gurgled, as she beheld the confection.
This was a new record. Three new people AND a milkshake in a matter of minutes. She was starting to like Hogwarts. Quote:

Then she looked at the boy and said, "I would shake your hand, but they're kind of full. I will take one of those milkshakes, though, if the offer still stands! He was getting a good reception. YAY!
Though the eagerness of the first girl almost scared him, as she almost knocked him over backwards into the hallway. But at least she liked milkshakes.
The next one he gave to the girl who he thought was named Cadence. "Enjoy. I made them myself." He grinned and wondered if anyone else would want one. And now that his hands were a little less full..
He walked in and took a seat. Well, might as well now that he was nice and offered these people ice cream. |

Really. Everyone did not need to know where she had gotten it. Raiden grabbed her by her non-bracelet arm elbow and gave her a gentle tug to get her back into the compartment. She could go out, if she wanted, but... well really, he didn't want her to go out and shake her bracelet at everyone.
Part of him wanted to remove it from her wrist straight away and pocket it again.
