Chaucer made a triumphant "ha-HA!" and flung off his jacket like a great magician might relinquish his cape. He didn't notice as it landed gracelessly on Andrea and sped out to the doorway, a handful of earplugs in hand.

He was reminded of his childhood where he, Kellen and their sisters would all play out a classic novel in the Ispwich country house that always ended up with a stupendous battle scene. Anne-Marie had gotten so tremendously bored with attempting to play "Dorian Gray" that she pulled down Chaucer's pants and giggled her way into hiding - a chase of course ensued.

"Pay no heed to casualties! Mercy will only lead to downfall!" He laughed as he launched into the hallway.

Helena looked up as she heard Blake's voice and she smiled slightly; she could always count on him. Still, what's the worst that could happen, right? Grinning in spite of herself at Blake's words, Lena stood up and headed back out into the corridor, appearing a moment later in the doorway to his compartment. Yes? I believe the annoying fifth year rang? she said with raised eyebrows, barely concealing the grin that had been there a moment before.

Kate laughed heartily at Chaucer's battlecry. So this is what it was like to have brothers around... Kate stood up, made sure her pockets were full of foam, and poked her head out of the compartment. Taking aim, she flicked an amazing shot at the back of Chaucer's head, getting it nice and stuck in his hair. "SCORE! One for the Ladies! Do your worst boys!"

Sarah looked at Bella. "Hi Bella." Sarah wondered what she should do, she had no idea if she should hug the girl and tell her everything would be okay or if she should see if she wanted to sit down, she decided on the last one. "Why don't we go and sit down and you can tell me all about what is going on." Sarah give Bella a nice friendly smile. "Oh and my name is Sarah."

Emilia smiled, glad that the war was moving out to the hall. She was exhausted and her mind needed time to catch up on everything that had been happening. She yawn and turned sideways so that her knees bent under her chin and her head lay on the back of the seat.

Damien laughed as he grabbed a bunch of foam and followed Kate out of the compartment. This was the best fun he'd had in a long while! Girls versus Boys eh? he asked, Then take that! he pelted Kate with a few earplugs, laughing as he dodged a bombardment of flying foam thrown from someone else.

Chaucer felt the back of his head and, upon finding the offending foam stuck firmly in a curly lock of hair, he dashed behind the wall. He called "Hah! real Ladies don't partake in battles of honor!" before looking around the corner and tossing a few more plugs in Kate's direction.

Chaucer had a fondness for first person shooters that rivalled his obsession with fashion but read, to his great displeasure, that most video games (aside from being an almost strictly muggle past time) were considered low-brow. Years of closet-gaming were beginning to poke through...

"I can perfectly see that Parker. Am I really going to care? No," she responded, eying her cousin with disdain. She better keep her mouth shut. No more jokes about romance. None. Especially in front of him. "I never said I was going to be a Ravenclaw may I remind you," she added. Even though she was still going to kill herself if she wasn't.

"I have muscle thank you very much," she added, when she saw him stand up. "I'm not a little weakling." Though she was small, she was feisty and fierce. She could punch anyone out. Ha ha. Just like that time before term when she almost broke Willie's arm. Luckily Anna interfered.

"Just ignore what Anna says. I have not been talking about you," she stated seriously, eying the girl once again with a frown. Then he mentioned about the train ride already being ruined and asked, "What already ruined it for you?" he can't just ask those types of questions without her being curious.

Thalia bounced slightly on the seat. "Of course I'm excited for this! I'm more than excited! I'm thrilled!" she exclaimed. Then she pulled her wand out of her pocket. She examined it with a smile and put it back. Thalia couldn't wait to use this thing. Not to mention she couldn't wait to see Emily and Aaron and Ryan. Speaking of Ryan where was the girl? "Aren't you excited?" Thalia asked another question. He should be.

"Well gosh!" Anna said reading Thalia's thoughts. She LOVED bugging her cousin when the conversation included boys. She walked over to Parker and said, "Hello Parker." Anna said. "My name is Annabeth. I'm Thalia's cousin." She said. "We've never met, but I've heard a lot about you..." I said looking over to Thalia as she held a huge smile. She plopped down directly next to Parker patting his knee and gave a huge smile.

Blake's brow raised a little but they eased up and a pout replaced his smile, Annoying? Snicker. "I beep! Someone has to do the job of keeping you grounded." He said with a wink and linked his arms with her. "Soo Ms. Crawley, what have you been up to? Ahh, you're locks are back or is that a wig?" He asked putting a finger on his chin and narrowed his eyes. He gave her hair a quick tug and muttered, "Just checking, the wind's quite wild today. HOLD ONTO YOUR WIGS, PEOPLE!!" Snickering, he hugged her gently and pulled back moments later.

Kate could see assault coming on, and ducked in time to miss a few, and those that missed her sailed over her and hit Damien. "Ha! Sneaky sneaky, Kate laughed, winking at the boys. "Well maybe there's a little bit of devil mixed in with the lady," she commented with a bit of taunting in her voice, in response to Chaucer's jab about battles of honour.

She heard wheels then, and glanced down the corridor. The food trolley! I'm starving, She groaned inwardly. Deciding that a getaway was in order, she slithered past the guys and made a break for that trolley...

Thalia thought she was going to have a heart attack. Parker was bound to have a heart attack. He was going to think even more people in her family besides her touched other people. AHHHHH!!!! "Anna I swear...," Thalia began, walking over to her cousin and pulling her arm leading her back to their seat.

"Victory to the boys!" Kellen called after her, a grin on his face. Then he realized they had a problem; there were only three of them left. He glanced down at the foam in his hand, up at Chaucer and Damien, and then grinned and flicked a plug in Damien's direction, "The fight continues!"

A three-man fight wasn't particularly dynamic, but there were plenty of earplugs already lying on the floor and if someone else wanted to join in... well, he wouldn't say no!

"And so it shall until there is but one!" He took a hairband from his vest pocket and made from it a crude slingshot. My innovation is stunning! Chaucer thought proudly to himself as he attempted to aim the contraption. It was here that he noticed his glove had a tear in between the index finger and thumb, which alarmed him enough to give a little start upon it's discovery. The projectile effectively greatly overshot Kellen and fell pathetically upon another girl student's head behind him.

Musn't get emotional - people will suffer in a battlefield! I will remember her in my memoirs... He prepared to fire another with a stoic expression freezing his features so that he looked like a parody of some Greek hero.

Damien looked up sharply at Kellens yell, only just managing to duck under the flying plug. He grinned as he stood back up, taking aim and flinging a few earplugs at both Kellen and Chaucer. He paused only for a second before aiming at Chaucer again, managaing to hit him on the head. Score! he yelled happilly. They may be down to three people, but with Kellen and Chaucer involved, things were deffinately interesting!

"Hey, can you excuse me a bit. I'm gonna go look if i see some of my friends. I'll be back."Tori said as she rose from her seat.

Helena smiled as Blake linked their arms together and then she looked shocked at his words. Of course it's not a wig, Blake! she said, still looking completely shocked at this accusation, but then she grinned and hugged him back, sort of wishing the hug had lasted a little longer than it had.... sigh. So how exactly do you plan on keeping your seventh year best friend grounded? She grinned.

Okayyy so maybe it wasn't prefectly behaviour, but as far as Celandine could tell, the group of ZOMG STUDENTS SHE DIDN'T KNOW! ESSITING! students that were throwing... foamy things? around the corridors, weren't causing any real harm. She just watched them and then, when a few foamy things got too close to her group of awesome (and really they probably shouldn't have been hanging about in the corridors anyway), Cela just flicked her wand and cast a non verbal shield to keep stray foamy things decidedly over there.

She was watching though and it wasn't entirely because she was all on alert or whatevz for troublemakers, more because it was an interesting group to watch. Half her attention remained on Phoebus, Garret, Daphne and Di and the other half sort of followed the foamy things, their intended targets and the throwers themselves.

"It does!" Cela agreed, finding nothing at all weird about the comment or recognising it as an excuse for anything. The train did move. A lot. Statement of fact because Phoebus was smart.

"Oh. My summer was hot too, only I meant, what did you DO during the summer?" she giggled good naturedly at him. That Phoebus; he was sooo funny.

"I did a lot of things. It will take me all term to tell you about all of them if you still wanted to hear." Lulz.

"We'll find a compartment soon." Celandine decided, casting her eyes around, wondering which direction to go in. Of course, there was the Prefects car... she'd go there later.

Bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuush and stare. His eyes even crossed a little, because her face was like... right there. RIGHT. THERE. NOSE. TOUCHING. HIS.

He pulled back a little bit, head going all... blank and stuff.

...and then he gave her an ickle tiny very quick peck on the nose. Because that was what was closest and that must've been what she meant when she insisted he kiss 'it' and if he didn't she would POUT and MERLIN WHAT WAS WRONG WITH HIM.

Being a teenager sucked. RETREAT.

He sat back in his seat. Awaaaay from Neptune's nose.

Alack! What was this? A shot to the back of his head once more? What, was there a bloody archer's target on the back? It wasn't that... his head was too big was it? He always had his hats custom made, and so never bothered to see what the average size was. Nontheless, he had been shot a deadly blow - bullseyes to the head were largely fatal.

He fell to the floor in a mock swoon. "Alas! My vision is going white! And I hear it, the heavenly strings of the spheres above!" He coughed into a hankerchief he had covertly snuck out of his pocket. "Clasp my hand, hear friends, I am dying!" With a final 'ugh' he fainted.

Or it seemed so until he opened one eye, looked around, and tossed a handful of earplugs at Damien down the hall.

Neptune's GASP filled the quiet of their compartment. "RAIDEN!" Her little mouth fell open in what COULD only be SHOCK. "You kissed ME!! I ... well... I've never...."

And so the giggles began. Again. She reached up to touch her nose, sure that there'd be some sort of mark there to celebrate the occasion. Surely everyone that saw her now would KNOW that she'd been KISSED by a OLDER CUTE boy with an IMPORTANT Prefect title. "I'm going to tell Preston!"

"Gryffindor huh?" Lavi said and looked with an calculating look at the firstie. "Those are the brave people right? i'm still learning what the houses have as traits" he said with a grin and ate the last piece of his candy. "yea gryffindor is a place where i just know i wouldn't belong..." Heck he even freaks out when he sees a book!

"I got in to Slytherin, i heard that those are the cunning and ambitious people" reaaally wonder how i got in there...hmm maybe because i love money? could be...to bad i don't have any money anymore, ugh i shouldn't have spend 7 icecreams when with Evan. ok trailing off , trailing off.. where was he? oh yea!

Lavi had been so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't seen the boy oppiside of him got up , it was only when he heard a thud that snapped him out of his thoughts. He shook his head and noticed that the soon-to-be-Gryffindor had hurt his head. He knew it was mean , and totally not his style because most of the time he would be worried , even though he is labeled a Slytherin. But he had to laugh. Lavi laughed spontaniously for a few moments "s-sorry, it just..it just looked so stupid" he said and was glad to finally meet someone who had the same stupid little accidents..except for Blake..but he was odd anyways, but in a good way.

His laughter died away and he cleared his throat to say something "So..what lessons do you look out for?" he said this in a totally professional interviewer voice and looked as though absolutely nothing had happened.. Yet not a few seconds later his grin came back he he giggled some more.

Odd nervous breakout, over. At least that's why Annie thought after a few minutes of wandering around the train looking for someone to talk to, yet no one she knew had been in her path. And, well...there were so few people she knew. Ugh.

Glance to the right, glance to the left...someone around?

Emily peered into the 10th compartment and was delighted to see Thalia. Without even seeing the other students there, Emily yanked open the door and grinned ear from ear. "Hey Thalia!" She beamed excitedly, gripping her wand at her side. "It took me forever to find you." She explained, taking a seat next to her. Noticing the others, Emily turned a deep red and finally shutted her mouth.

Damien watched Chaucers grand finale, quite amused. It was an act right? I mean he was hit with an earplug...and thats foam. Yet he watched as the boy seemed to faint. He grew slightly worried as the boy didn't move for a bit.

Deciding to venture a little closer, he took a few steps cautiously forward. All the while he kept a close eye incase it was a trap. Sure enough as he got one step closer he saw Chaucer crack an eye open and then he was rained upon by earplugs. Spluttering at the indignation, he grabed afew and shot them back. Take that! he grinned, seeing no way the boy could evade the attack.
