"Hey dude, you just missed the show, totally got sick and ralphed infront of the staff table, they sent me up to the hospital wing to sleep it off. Those beds were awesome" he said to his best mate. "Man, great way to start off the term ahahahahh" Brant sipped on his pumpkin juice and continued talking. "Man, hows it going?. Wheres your woman" he had to make fun. its how they got along.

Carter laughed. "What can I say? I'm a guy." he said eating some more. "So what did you do all summer?"

Warren chuckled.. ''Dude i was just up there with my sister.. musta missed ya.. Thats soo funny hahaha'' He was ashamed that he missed that.. that was a classic moment!! ''Duno mate.. she was ere somewhere..'' looking around and failing to find Lucille. ''Not bad thanks.. how are ya now?'' hoping he wouldn't up chuck again.. He loved Brant soo much 'as a mate' he was a good friend too.

Rex tripped over his feet again when he went to the end of the table to Gwen. "See, I am relly clumsy around you, mam" Rex told Gwen. "See what happens whan I am around pretty girls,mam" Rex said to Gwen. " Quidditch is great and even though I am clumsy, I am good at that game,mam" Rex explained to Gwen. "Well, yes us both being new, also being muggles, we will see what goes on in Hogwarts,mam" Rex told her.

Rex is furious with Avery. Rex keeps his calm. "Apparently if you listened, I talked about a Gryffindor, mam" Rex explained to Avery. " Let's put it this way, no one pushes my family, girlfriend or friends around at anytime just like Evelyn and Destiny need to me and Kay, mam" Rex said in a soft tone to Avery. "Well Kay may like you, but I do not like you like Kay and Jason like you, mam, so please ignore me and we will get along, mam " Rex told avery. He then went back to eating.

Shana looked up as Someone else came over, well it was more of a twisting her head as much as she could while lying on Art's shoulder. "Hey Lucy. Nah, Don't worry about it I'll befine. And that goes for you too Art." she smiled up at her. "Wanna sit down ? Or are you already sitting somewhere else and just came to see if I was okay ? Either way thanks." She said her smile fading slightly at the thought of Fyo. She needed to stop thinking about him. NO. Not forget him simply not think of him for a while just to make her a bit happier.

Lucy smiled at her and the boy on who's shoulder she was resting on. How cute!

"Alright, if you're sure," She said to Shana.
"I just came to check up on you, but I can join you later. I was sitting with my best friend and her uncle," Lucy finished up, slightly feeling bad that she couldn't sit with Shana.
"But I'll see you around, kay?" She said as she waved to Shana and the boy, and walked back to her seat.

"Living life to the fullest, duhh," Tyler smirked at Lucy. What else could it mean? Dying alone would be much worse than dying with someone. With that thought in his head, Ty chuckled to himself and just stared at the food. He sure wasn't going to take a on on this anytime soon.

"Juicy! I'm NOT kind." He pouted for a moment and chuckled, "You're too sweet, my dear. You'll give me diabetes." He softly poked her arm and stroked his head with hers, gently...of course. He's ALWAYS gentle with girls - sweet girls.

"Alright! She'll be thrilled and then she'd prod me to call you over dinner." Well, he decided to left out the followup of dinner. She won't fancy the idea of his mum pushing him to ask her out.

"You're welcome. Annnd don't treasure them forever. They're like not THAT good." Giving her a quick hug, Blake drew back and took a few steps away from her, "Juicy Lucy, I'll catch you later." Winking, Blake ruffled his brown hair and after waving at her, he left with a sigh.

Lucy giggled when he said he wasn't kind--what?!

"Stop it Blakey, you are!!" She said as she pondered what the heck diabetes was. Hmmm. Aww, and then he rubbed his head with her's--gently! He was sooo cute and drool-worthy!! She smiled again, and made the best of the moment, wishing it could last forever.

"Okay, you tell her!" She said as Blake talked about his mum. Calling her over dinner--yes, that'd be nice. But how? Gosh, he was confusing her.

Returning his hug, she grinned and nodded. "Okay, I'll eat them soon." She kept smiling as he winked and ruffled his REALLY CUTE hair again, and then she waved back at him. She thought she heard him sigh as he left--hopefully it was a happy sigh. Oh, to be with Blakey all the time; yes, that would be fun.

Lucy was still staring at Blakey's back when she heard Ty talking. She turned around and sat in her seat again, making a face at him.

"You've already lived your life to the fullest--you've met me!!" She said with a laugh, and wiping an imaginary tear from her eye. "Gosh, I crack myself up," She said to herself.

Then she looked back at Tyler. "I was kidding, Ty," She said to him.

"Well what do you think your favourite part of the castle is?", asked Ginny as she was looking around at what food to eat.

Shana seemed so sad, this Fyo person must really mean alot to her. He didn't know why he wasn't there, but he knew prying would only make it worse. This Fyo person better have a good reason for not being here. Or had better stay away from Shana while he was around."Okay Shana." he smiled down at her. "You are very welcome dear. Well, I think that everyone can spare me for a few minutes. Why don't I sit with you Sweets?" Art smiled at her again. He took a seat beside her , he moved carefully so that she was still leaning against his shoulder even as he sat. He then beamed at her. He put his arm across her back and comforted her. Art saw her as a friend and almost like a sister. "There we are, so everything is peaches and cream then?" he asked with a warm, comforting smile.

Gwen giggled. She was never great at receiving compliments. "In that case, you better watch your shoe laces. You don't want to trip on them!" said Gwen, laughing.

"I think this year will be lots of fun even though we are new here. What position on the Quidditch team are you going to try out for?" asked Gwen.

"Hmmm," Gwen contemplated. She took a long swig of pumpkin juice. Setting her goblet down she said, "Well, so far I am really digging this Great Hall. Its magnificent."

Her eyes wandered to the floating candles over head, and then ever higher to the beautiful starry night ceiling.

"What about you," she asked, suddenly coming back to reality.

Edd walked into the great hall, this was not the first time he'd been late starting a new term. He sat down at the table and began to eat his breakfast, wondering what the day had to bring him.

Chris laughed and handed the bowl over to her. "So, you're a fan of mac & cheese as well?" he asked with a wide grin. Roxxy had taken the little sister role with him, and Chris was quite happy about that. He had been looking forward to taking school with his sister this year- but obviously that didn't happen.

"I'm sure it was," he said with a definitive nod. "You know those hats- never able to make up their mind. Some people scream of certain qualities- you are just more complex. And that's never a bad thing," he said with a grin.

"Well, you are the first... and shall make a name for yourself!" he said with a bright smile. "I, however, am going to leave a mark so that my sister can never forget I was here first," he said with a quick wink to Roxxy.

As she asked Alex a question about what else was going on, he turned to hear the response. He was curious as well.

Chris blinked in recognition. Little brother... that made sense. He extended his hand to the younger boy and smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Warren," he said with a nod. However, he extended his left hand because his right was still attached to Alex's left.

He burst out laughing as her eyes widened at the knife. "Don't you trust me?" he asked, turning the laugh into more of an evil chuckle. However, he placed the knife down once more and continued to laugh, his sides reaching a point where it was almost painful. "Juggling as one you said?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "That sounds like something we should try..."

"Psh, carefully isn't my style," he said with a crooked grin. He lifted the fork to his mouth, but once again half of the food fell off. He muttered a few inaudible words under his breath before Alex commented. "Feed me? Woman, I am not some potato!" he said, making a face. He looked down at his stomach and as if on cue, it growled. "Well, I do seem to be wasting away to nothing..." he said after a thought.

"Oh Four Hundred? As in, 4 am?" he asked her, his eyes wide. "You do know that I sleep right?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Make is four in the afternoon and we have a deal," he replied with a grin. He laughed as she replied to his comment about the tissues. This girl was good- she had the looks and the brains. They could probably go at it for hours- they had on the train after all. "Well, I would only use those tissues to clean up a mess you made- I wouldn't need them myself," he said with a sly grin.

Chris once more brought their hands up to his forehead, but this was more of a dramatic gesture. "Yes, my sweet Alex! How I worry for your sake! You step out of my gaze for 2 minutes- and break a rib!" he began, his eyes wide. But, as she talked of beating him, he brought their hands to her head. "You must have hit your head too... if you think you can beat me!" he said with an evil grin.

He became serious once more and smiled. "Well, I am glad to hear it... just take it easy," he replied. That was something he would tell his sister if she were hurt. He would have to write her a letter soon...

"Doofus?" Chris asked, raising both of his eyebrows. "I'll give you one hint, youngling- its not wise to insult someone you just met," he said, his grin wide. Removing his hand from Alex's for the first time, he took out his wand, and cast a spell that would cause Warren's tongue to go all limp-words would basically be impossible until the spell wore off in a few minutes.

He grinned at the high five, already liking the kid. "Waz it is then," he said with a nod. He shook his head as the boy continued his ridiculous manner of talk. "I thought they only said dude where I'm from," he said, laughing at the word used in their accent.

Tyler arched an eyebrow at her, yet laughed at what she said. "Yes, my life is now complete because you're in it," he said sarcastically.

Lucy got the joke, but she played along with his sarcasm.

"See, I told you!" She said as she patted his back. "Everyone's happy once they meet Lucy McLean," She continued to say with a nod.

Now she was hungry, though, so she glanced in the lunchbox that Blakey had given her, and took out one of the delicious chocolate cupcakes. She was about to lick off the frosting when she realized she was being quite rude.

Nudging Ty, she said, "You want some, Ty?? It's goood."

'I'm not dumb I know what you said. Just because they hang out with Slytherins doesn't make tham a traitor. And it's not your problem if they plot. You don't even know what they are plotting about if they even are", Avery explained.

So, Jenny walked in. Gryffleclaws..Gryfferins..Gryffindors! Yeah... Embarrassed, she walked over to some person. "Hi." She said.

"Riiiiiiiight," Tyler rolled his eyes playfully and interlocked his hands behind his head. Looking up at the ceiling, his didn't notice it was enchanted to look like the sky outside. Including the floating candles that were lit. Feeling Lucy nudge him, he turned towards he. She was offering him a cupcake? "No thanks," he said.

Lucy rolled her eyes at his reply.

"It's not poisoned or anything, you know," She said impatiently. And then she got that mischievious look in her eye again. She tore off a piece of the cupcake and then, before he could even do anything, she had stuffed it into his mouth, leaving some crumbs on his face.

"Whoops," She said as she brushed the crumbs off his face, and then licked the frosting off the rest of her cupcake. "How do you like it?" She asked him with a laugh.

Still laughing at Ty, Lucy looked up as someone approached her.

"Hi there! Have a seat," She said, gesturing towards the empty seat near her.

Lizzie was on the edge of letting a few tears fall down her cheeks, but with a quick stroke of her hand she dried them off and smiled. It felt so good to be back. She just stood there by the table for a moment, taking in everything around her. It looked just the same, it wasn't like anything had changed at all. But, she noticed, the oldest students from last year wheren't there anymore. With a little tingling in her stomach she realised that she was up for her 5th year. Only 3 more years to go. Thank god she had been able to catch up during the summer and wouldn't have to retake her 4th year. She'd missed so much...

Starting to feel awkward just standing there, she began looking for a place to sit, and more importantly, some of her friends.

"Well around you, I will watch my shoelaces and tie them tighter arounbd you, mam" Rex told Gwen. " I am going to try out for Keeper, mam" Rex said to Gwen, "Do you have a favorite position in Quidditch, mam? Rex asked Gwen.I plan on having fun here as well as doing my homework" rex explained to Gwen.

Rex loked up to see Avery still there. " Too bad it is none of yoru businees" Rex mumbled under his breath to Avery. " Please talk to someone else at another part of the table, please, mam" Rex said to Avery. Rex decieded to talk and listen to Gwen.

Demetria had been sitting there kind of silent the whole time. It was weird sitting at the table without her friends. Just as she looked up, she noticed one of her best friends walking into the Great Hall. She couldn't contain her excitement. Demetria Jumped up and ran over to Lizzie, pulling her into a hug so big it almost knocked both of them over. "Lizzie! I missed you! We're big kids now! WE have to take our O.W.L.S this year! I missed you so much! Have you seen Shay?!" the words exploded out of her mouth. Never had she been this excited to see someone.

Demetria took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "I missed you." she said.

Lizzie barely noticed the blonde hair that suddenly filled her face before it did, neither did she see Dem's happy eyes or her wide smile. But she almost fell over as her friend hugged her, and she returned the hug as she answered I know we really are big kids now, the older half of the school!!! She was excited to see her friend again, it had been a very lonely time without having Dem, Shay and Cha around. Almost all of last year, and then the summer.. There weren't words for the happiness she felt. I haven't seen her around, but I'm sure she's here somewhere. Her eyes followed the table for a second, before she looked back at her friend. I can't believe how long your hair's gotten Dem! And you are so tall! She giggled and took a step closer. I always knew I was sorta short, but now it's so obvious! She stuck out her tongue teasingly and smiled.

"cool" Evie said "Yeah i'm the same half blood, my mum was muggle born but she came here my dad is pure blood. My brother Mason and my cousin Rainee both graduated last year too."
